Hi! It's me again kbunny10 here with another chapter of Beta! Sorry If this is late I got a little caught up with the 4th of July and the days surrounding it as my friend and my boyfriend were working our town's fest and I was helping out in the youth services tent. Then the 7th was my birthday and also my family is trying to sell our house so things are a little hectic here. ^^;
Also if the spacing comes out weird on this, I got a new laptop and instead of getting word, Eric had me download OpenOffice...I think it's the spawn of Satan trying to pretend to be something it's not, but it gets the job done so...I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
Anyways here we go, without further ado, the next chapter of beta! :D

Nix sat at the table in the kitchen of Titans Tower, she had of course been there when the others had the test explained to them, but she was still fairly nervous about how this all would go. So she decided that having a snack while waiting for the others to finish up couldn't hurt. Ziggy, Zane, and Rachel made the choice to stand over by the testing area and wait for Amber and Emma to take their tests, eager to see how it would go.
"Whatcha doin?" Nix looked up to see her green teammate staring back at her. "Beast Boy...aren't you supposed to be helping Starfire with the obstacle course part of the test?"
"Eh, they really only needed me to start the timer, besides I'm hungry and you look nervous, what's up?" He said, taking a seat next to her.
"I don't know, I just...feel kinda bad I guess? I mean I feel like I didn't really get much of a test and here they are trying out, what happens if they don't make it? That would suck!" Nix said, pulling at her hair before laying her head down on the table. "Also how are we going to properly test Emma? We don't have her background for the most part, we have Silver's and she had to leave. And what if Emma doesn't get a fair test because of her criminal record. I mean she doesn't have a criminal record, but she does at the same time!"
"Calm down Nix! The test is really just a formality for the most part, we really do need a Beta team if we're going to be able to take care of the city properly. There's no need to get so worked up over this! Come on breathe with me, in and out real slow, don't talk till you feel calm."
Nix did as told before opening her mouth to speak again. "Bird brain really scared me into thinking that some of them wouldn't actually make it onto the team. I think, maybe by being away from the tower for so long I've been having fanfiction withdrawals and I just need to start writing again tonight." Nix looked over at her three official Beta teammates, they looked so happy and ready to take on anything. She watched as she saw the ever determined Emma walking towards the testing area, and then over to Amber patiently awaiting her turn. Everything was going to be fine and they would all make a nice team Nix assured herself. There was no need to panic, no need at all.
"Beast Boy! Get Back in the testing area now!" Robin's shout could be heard through the communicator.
"Gotta go!" Beast Boy said, getting up and pushing past Emma to get into the obstacle course area first. Yep, everything was going to be fine.
