Chapter 13
A pair of blue eyes opened glancing around. It was still dark. Must've been the middle of the night. And something didn't feel right. The blonde sighed sitting up something felt similar to the Grand Magic Games and yet he couldn't exactly put his finger on that feeling. "What's da matter, Sting?" Lecter whispered sitting up. "It's nothing go back to bed." The blonde muttered looking over to a corner where a shadow hovered. "Rogue, always did like playing games in the middle of the night." Lecter seemed slightly bemused slowly going back to bed. As suddenly the shadow outstretched it's 'hands' which contained engraved marks.
" Coordinates: ******, North of Fairytail
Mission Objective: Locate Gajeel
Mission Problem: Rogue's Magic has vanished.
End of message"
The shadow quickly vanished just barely as Sting had finished reading. "Call Yukino. We have an urgent matter." Sting said suddenly feeling like his breath was suddenly sucked away by that ominous feeling. The ominous feeling that didn't seem right. Well duh, it's an ominous feeling. "Lecter...Lecter, get up." Sting shouted hurrying out the door. "I'm up, what did I need to do again?" Lecter asked barely looking at Sting through groggy eyes. "Get Yukino!" Sting shouted grabbing Lecter by the scruff as he stumbled out the door attempting to put his shoes on at the same time stumbled towards the door. "What's the matter, Sting?" Orga asked glancing towards him. "Leave Rufus in charge of the guild, I want you on backup if anything happens." Sting shouted stumbling down the hallway. "Sting?" Orga asked confused.
"I'm taking Yukino with me, and Frosch." Sting shouted hurrying down towards the female dorms, although Yukino was old enough to own her own home she had apparently moved back into the guild's female dorms just recently for some reason. Most people just said it was to make sure the younger girls joining the guild were taken care of well. Other's well there really wasn't much of another reason for Yukino to be doubted. "Yukino.." Sting knocked finally finding the door where Yukino resided. "Yukino." Sting knocked again finally reaching for the door knob as the door opened before he could get to the door.
"What's the matter?" A woman who had earned the nickname 'The Snow Spirit' or snow spirit mage, because of her hair, opened the door. "Yukino." Sting sighed towards the finally opened door. "I'm sorry to wake you this late in the night." Sting stated. "What's the matter? What do you mean late hour it's only ten." Yukino smiled slightly opening the door slightly. "Have you been up all night?" Lecter frowned glancing at her ankles where Frosch suddenly was, clinging to her ankle. "Lecter, take Frosch and go pack the things, meet us by the front door." Sting instructed as Lecter nodded pulling Frosch along towards the door. "Rogue's magic has disappeared." Sting sighed. "But that just means he isn't using it right now?" Yukino smiled. "Not just that..he sent me an emergency message that he's having problems." Sting explained. "What do you mean that isn't right." Yukino gave a faint laugh wondering if it's a joke. "It's two a.m. in the morning." Sting instructed. "You're lying." Yukino laughed faintly. "I'm not and we need to go, now." Sting stated as Yukino nodded. "Let me get dressed." Yukino murmured letting him into the living room as she trailed to her own room apparently she was already dressed but getting another outfit instead. "This should work." Yukino smiled coming back out with a bag that made it appear that she was going on vacation. It looked like the bag he hadn't seen since The Grand Magic Games but in a larger size. "Let's go." Yukino murmured as he nodded heading out.
"Who will handle the guild while we're out?" Yukino asked as they left the door. "Rufus is in charge, Orga is in charge of the main gate." Sting explained as Yukino nodded. Quickly they boarded the train. "Emergency transport towards the FairyTail guild of the SaberTooth guild." Sting instructed as the train instructor nodded pulling the horn which signaled an emergency to all of the other conductors.
Several hours later they had arrived within Fairytail. "Thank you." Sting nodded towards the guild master of FairyTail. "Are you sure you do not want help? He went to rescue one of our's." the FairyTail master asked as Sting shook his head. "No, for now I shall handle the issues of my own guild." Sting smiled giving his thanks for back-up. "Forty-eight hours and we will come for you." they instructed. "That probably won't be necessary, Rogue has a twisted way of playing games right now." Sting smiled as the FairyTail Master smiled. As the two headed up the mountains towards where Rogue's coordinates said he was. "How much further do you think it is?" Yukino shouted over the roaring wind. "You're not tired already are you?" Sting shouted back struggling to dig his feet into a surging sudden snow storm. "Of course, not!" Yukino shouted back stumbling towards the hill struggling to reach Sting up higher on the mountains as the two exceeds attempted to pick her up. "No, don't do that!" Sting shouted grabbing Yukino's wrist and pulling the three of them back down towards the mountains. "It's too windy up here, right now." Sting instructed as the Exceeds nodded. "There. We'll hide in that cave and double check the coordinates." Sting shouted over the roaring wind. They quickly stumbled into the cave.
"It's too cold." Yukino sighed pulling her jacket tighter. "Speak for yourself." Sting muttered. "Well you think you'd have learned by now after dressing the same way for so many years." Yukino sighed in reply as Sting looked away his face giving the appearance of still being child-like. "Aw well…so." Yukino sighed trailing off. "What were you doing up at two a.m.?" Sting asked noticing that it obviously wasn't normal as he stared down towards a blue glowing lacrima in which he had written the coordinates down upon. "Well..I was." Yukino murmured suppressing her words. "It's because I have something to tell you. Actually I was planning on how to tell the guild..." Yukino murmured. "I'm sure that's not something that would take all night." Sting shook his head. As suddenly there was a dripping..Drip. Drip. Drip. "That cave wasn't leaking before was it?" Sting asked as Yukino shrugged. "Probably just happened from the storm, but I have something really important to tell you-" Yukino started again being cut off. "The coordinates say that we're here already, listen I can hear breathing." Sting said pushing himself off of the cave's floor.
"Sting, wait listen to me first!" Yukino called after him with shaking hands as she ran trying to catch up. As suddenly the glowing blonde hair went to the ground, did he just collapse? "Sting?" Yukino asked running closer to notice that it wasn't him collapsing but an extremely quick motion. He was checking heart rates…Of the three bodies lying on the floor. "They're all alive." Sting smiled looking back at Yukino who nodded examining who they were. Two FairyTail guild members. Gajeel and Pantherlily were they? And the third Yukino let her eyes drift towards him, that was both thankfully and unthankfully a member of their guild. Rogue.
"Why are they so beat up?" Yukino whispered kneeling near Rogue as she put Frosch down. "He's okay right?" Frosch said placing a paw on his shoulder and beginning to shake him. "Of course, Rogue is alright. This is just a twisted sense of humor. Come on body you're freaking Frosch out." Sting laughed faintly. "Rogue, this isn't funny." Yukino murmured as the pair of red eyes opened quickly as if he was suddenly in shock glancing at each of them. "Sting, you're an idiot." Rogue choked. "See I told you he's perfectly fine." Sting laughed slightly attempting to sit back as he glanced over the other two seemingly fine and breathing. "Let's get these two and the trickster to a hospital or something." Sting smiled as suddenly something wrapped Yukino's ankle dragging her away. As Rogue suddenly coughed out something:
"Sting you're an idiot! You're an idiot for bringing Yukino. She's pregnant!"
