Hey guys! So... it's been a while, and I can explain. Life got busy, and between all that busy-ness there was either time to read or write-and I chose read. And now that it's summer and it's finally time to write, I feel completely disconnected with the plot. I want to write a happy Edward, but I left him mopey, moody, and all-in-all in a terrible state. I want to write a warm Bella, but the last time I wrote, she was distant and blocked off. And I introduced Jacob but all I want to do is forget that his character came to the house in the first place. Last year, I left the fic off meaning to write jealousy and misunderstandings and family drama, and now all I want to do is the opposite-a few flirty, happy scenes before we get into the meat of the plot. So I'm putting this story on official hiatus, until I can continue it the way that I want to. I might repost or delete a few of the later chapters to change the direction the fic is going, but all in all, it's going to be a while until I update this one.
On the bright side, my other fic, Business Before Pleasure, will be updated very soon with fluff, drama, romance, and crime, and I plan on keeping up with updates steadily. It's everything I wish I could do with The Collateral right now, but can't.
