Author's Note: So I realize that it has been a very long time since I updated this story, but I am determined to finish it. I have no rights to Frozen and its characters. This is a fill in chapter, next chapter with have more Jelsa to it.
The frantic storm surrounded Arendelle. Frozen ships swayed in the powerful rushes of wind and snow. Elsa tried her best to find a path within the storm but a voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Elsa!"
Hans?
"You can't run from this."
He's right. But what other option do I have? Anna I am so sorry. For everything. For every closed door.
She turned and faced him, fear within her gaze. "Take care of my sister." She pleaded.
"Your sister… She returned from the mountains weak and cold. She said that you froze her heart."
"No…" What have you done Elsa?
"I tried to save her but it was too late."
No. Please God no.
"Your sister is dead because of you."
"No…"
Oh God please no. Lord take me instead please!
She collapsed to the ice beneath her feet. Her world was over. She failed everyone and took her sister's life.
It seemed as though time has frozen over. Everything Elsa tried to do to protect her sister did not matter. He sister was dead. Her parents dead. How could she live on?
"No!" A cry broke out.
Anna? In disbelief she turned around to see her sister.
"Anna!"
Anna's entire body had been engulfed in ice. The figure stood in front of Elsa.
She reached for her sister's face gently, afraid she would break into pieces.
Beautiful Anna. Look at what I have done to you. To us. Oh Anna I'm sorry. Oh God why Anna? I love you Anna. I love you.
Elsa hung to her frozen sister. Her heart shattering into pieces.
Papa was right.
Yet, she began to feel her sister's body shift and warmth surrounding her body. She looked up to see Anna alive and breathing.
"Anna!"
Elsa embraced her sister. Everything seemed surreal. But it did not matter. Her sister was alive.
As Elsa realized that love would thaw a frozen heart she used her power to dissolve the snow and ice, freeing Arendelle from the storm.
Elsa looked at her sister, knowing that life from this day on and the relationship between her and her sister would be different. She would give her sister everything she deserved.
Elsa's door would no longer be closed.
A figure watched atop of a floating ship.
A smile across his face.
I knew you could do it Snowflake.
After the great thaw life immersed back into the streets of Arendelle. People all around the kingdom celebrated the life of their princess and the return of their queen.
Elsa's heart never felt more alive and beating with happiness.
The people of Arendelle accepted their queen for who she was and embraced her power.
She watched as her sister gallivanted town with Kristoff, running into shops and taking a hefty amount of chocolate samples from one of the venders. Elsa giggled to herself standing at the gates of the kingdom saying farewell to the visiting royals and traders who came to her coronation. She apologized to each and every one of them.
Despite everything, something was weighing on her heart. She wondered where Jack was. Confused by his disappearance. She prayed he would return to her.
