Disclaimer: Hey guys! I'm back with another awesome chapter of The Spy and The Saber. Last night, I had an amazing idea. I hope you all like it. Let's get on with the chapter!

Also for Ash's weapon, you'll find out who he is soon, just go to the Samurai Warriors 3 website, go to characters, find Hanzo Hattori, and there you go. That's Ash's weapon, just a frag lot bigger.

"How much longer do we have to walk Prowler?" Jazz groaned.

Prowl turned to Jazz with an irritated look on his face. "Not much farther Jazz. And for the last time, my name is not Prowler. It is Prowl."

I sighed. Jazz and Prowl have had the same conversation every five minutes, and I was getting annoyed. Though I did have to agree with Jazz. We've been walking for a hour, and we still hadn't found the energy source that Optimus had sent us after. I looked behind me at the two and growled, "Would you two shut up? Primus, you're getting on my nerve."

"Sorry 'Stalker." Jazz smirked at me.

I rolled my optics and looked at the scanner in my hand. It seems that the energy source was nearby. Almost as if we were right in front of it. I looked up and I gasped at the sight in front of me.

"Primus almighty, sling me up and call me silly." Jazz said as he stood beside me.

In front of us was a ship. It was not as big as the Nemesis, but it was bigger than the Harbinger. I walked up to it and saw that it was emitting a strange energy signature. I heard growling come from inside the ship.

"Who wants to explore the creepy ship with me?" I asked.

"What choice do we have?" Prowl replied.

"If I die, just wanted to let you guys know it was an honor serving with the 'Bots." Jazz smirked.

I rolled my optics again and said, "You are so overdramatic." I deployed my ion displacer and walked inside the ship.

Prowl and Jazz deployed their energon blasters and followed me. I heard the growling noise again and I went in that direction. Jazz raised an optic ridge and asked, "Isn't it better to head away from the growling noise?"

I looked at my partner and said, "We've gotta investigate somehow and going towards the growling noise seems like the best option we've got."

I could tell Jazz was rolling his optics from under his visor and Prowl remained silent as always. Being a cyber-ninja makes you like that. The growling was getting louder and I heard footsteps along with it.

"Okay, something big is coming our way and I'm not sure if it's friendly." Jazz announced the obvious.

"Well, it looks like we've got to wait and see." I said.

The footsteps were getting louder and I could tell that whatever was heading towards us was angry. Probably because we were intruding its home. But when the owner of the footsteps turned the corner in front of us, all three of us froze with fear.

Me being me, I said the first thing that came to mind. "Big aft dragon! Big aft dragon!"

Said 'big aft dragon' growled at us, its red eyes piercing us. Of course he wasn't actually a dragon, he was a T-Rex but give me a break, if you knew who this was you'd be like me too! It didn't take us long to figure out who we were staring at. After all, it isn't hard to forget the leader of the dinobots.

"Grimlock." Prowl breathed. Okay if he's showing emotion, then I know we're dead.

Grimlock growled at us and asked, "Who you?"

Jazz pushed me forward, since I was the leader on this mission. I glared at the silver mech before turning to the gigantic dinobot in front of me. I gulped before saying, "My name is Shadowstalker and those two are Jazz and Prowl. We come from a team of Autobots currently stationed on Earth, led by Optimus Prime."

"Autobots on Earth?" Grimlock asked, to which I nodded. He said, "Why are you here?"

"We detected a strange energy signature." I answered carefully. "Looks like we found who it belonged to."

"Are you the only dinobot on Earth?" Jazz asked, after finally mustering up the courage to speak to the gigantic mech.

"No. Me Grimlock here Swoop, Slug, Snarl, and Sludge." Grimlock answered while transforming back in to his regular form. He still was taller than us either way. Scrap, he was taller than Optimus!

"Well, you've been on your own all this time. I suppose asking you to join up with our team would be a waste of time." I said.

Grimlock growled and said, "Prime weak. Dinobots never join up with him."

I was about to open my mouth and defend Optimus, but Jazz pulled me behind him and laughed nervously before saying, "And we completely understand. But we do have a proposition for you."

"We do?" I asked.

"We do." Jazz said, giving me a look. He turned back to Grimlock and said, "You can stay here and command the Dinobots, but all we ask is that you provide us with backup when a situation becomes too severe for 'Bots of our status to withstand."

Grimlock eyed us suspiciously before saying, "I will talk with other dinobots first."

"Take your time." Prowl said.

Grimlock walked back down the hall. I waited until he was around the corner before activating my cloak and following him. Jazz looked at me like I was crazy. Well, I suppose I was. After all, following the leader of the Dinobots when he was already suspicious of you was crazy. Especially when said leader could transform in to a T-Rex that is twice my height and breathe fire. Yeah, this was a pretty crazy idea.

"You're crazy, you know that?" Jazz whispered as he and Prowl ran silently behind me.

I deactivated my cloak and said, "I think that's already been established Jazz."

Jazz shook his helm and Prowl asked, "Shadowstalker, are you sure this a good idea?"

"Come on Prowl. Have some faith in your old apprentice." I smirked.

I heard voices and I peaked in a room. I saw Grimlock and all the other dinobots. There was Swoop, the pteranodon, Snarl, the stegosaurus, Sludge, the apatosaurus, and Slug, the triceratops. What? I did some research on these guys back in the war on Cybertron! But they weren't the ones holding myattention. The mech that they were talking to was.

"Ash." I whispered.

"Who's Ash?" Jazz asked.

"Another spy." I growled. "A Decepticon spy. He has the ability to change his paint job to make it seem like he's a different person. That's why no one can ever recognize him."

"How can you recognize?" Jazz asked in disbelief.

"Trust me." I growled. "Ash and I have a history."

*Flashback*

I finished setting the grenade in the energon fuel line. Deceticons had invaded Praxus and the odds had become 400 to 1. I was sent to Praxus to get classified documents alone and it seems like the Decepticons have found out. I was going to have to make some fireworks if I wanted to get out alive.

"Well, if isn't little Shadowstalker. You've got a reputation you know that?"

14 year old me turned to face the Decepticon who I soon became to know as Ash. For once, the Decepticon spy was in his true paint job. Ash had ruby red optics and a black with red and orange streaks paint job. He had a sickle in his hand.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Wow, the Autobot spy that's gained a reputation in less than a few months doesn't know about me? I must be doing my job right." Ash chuckled. "Allow me to introduce myself. My designation is Ash, and I am a Decepticon spy."

"So you're Ash. Hmm, you really must be doing your job right. Nobody can ever recognize you." I narrowed my optics.

"Yeah, that's kind of the reason for the different paint jobs. But this is my true form that only Decepticons have ever seen. You're the first Autobot to ever see my true form." Ash smirked.

"And I'm going to be the last because when I'm done, you're be dead." I smirked.

Ash laughed and said, "Oh I like you."

*Flashback End*

Ash and I were almost alike to be honest. If only he weren't a Decepticon. But I put that thought out my head as I listened to the conversation.

"So Shadowstalker, Jazz, and and Prowl, huh?" Ash smirked. "I've never met them so I can't say whether or not you can trust them."

I had to resist the urge to shout at a very rude comment when he said that.

"I've heard of Shadowstalker." Swoop said. "Never met the femme but she's got quite the reputation among the Autobot ranks. They say she's good at what she does." He looked over at Ash. "I'm suprised you've never met her Chrome."

"His name isn't Chrome." I said, stepping in to the room. It was either listen and wait or let Ash win. The Dinobots looked suprised but I continued when I saw Ash's shocked face. "His name is Ash. He's the Decepticon spy that nobody can ever recognize."

"She's lying." Ash said.

"I've seen your true form Ash. I'd never forget you." I said.

Ash only smirked and said, "Well, I guess I could only keep my facade up for so long."

"You mean to tell us this 'Con has been tricking us?" Grimlock roared, infuriated.

"That's Ash for you." I shrugged. "The sneakiest of all the 'Cons."

"Aw Shadow, I'm flattered." Ash smirked.

I rolled my optics and said, "Ash, run."

"Why?" Ash asked.

His answer was in the form of Grimlock in his dinosaur form. Ash shook his helm and said, "I hate to run, but I know when the odds are against me." He smirked at me before running out of the room.

"Oh no you don't!" I yelled, chasing after the mech.

Ash turned around and saw me chasing him. He smirked and said, "Let's have some fun, shall we?"

I smirked and said, "Couldn't have said it better myself."

Ash returned the smirk and kept running. I ran after him. You know, if Ash wasn't a Decepticon I could definately see us being friends.

And that is the end of another awesome chapter of The Spy and The Saber. Next chapter we get to see Shadow and Ash fight, and then we return to base after they forge a mutual alliance with the Dinobots. And we might just get to see Grimlock try to beat the living daylights out of Ash. I can say that I absolutely love Ash. Until next time, I'm out!
