Kuramalover86 thanks for the review!

"What did you two talk about?" Kili asks once I enter the sleeping area.

"What would it matter to you?" I respond, slightly offended that he would delve into my private business.

"You're my friend, Isabel. I care for you." He answers.

"So does Bilbo! I've know Bilbo longer and you think he doesn't care for my well being?" I am really confused. It is almost as if Kili is jealous of Bilbo, I just cannot find a reason why.

"No." He raises his hands to his temples and rubs in circles. "I just don't want you to get hurt for any reason."

"Well I can take care of myself! Thank you very much." I turn away then turn back. "I'm going to bed now and I better not wake from any disturbances from you."

I lie down on the cold hard floor and pull a blanket over my head that Gandalf has so graciously placed next to me.

The next morning, when I expect Kili to be under me, I find him missing. I look around and find Bilbo close to me,but not so close as for me to kick him or push him away. Then I gasp. "Bilbo."

His eyes are open and looking at me with an intensity I have never seen before.

"G'morning, Isabel." He says kindly. "How did you sleep?"

"I didn't have a vision. I'm not sure if that's good or bad." I answer. "Where's Kili?"

Bilbo's eyes darken for a quick second, then, just a quick as it came, the darkness left and light filled them once more. "They are eating breakfast with the bear that nearly ate you."

"Oh. He's not a bear anymore, right?" I ask hesitantly. Bilbo laughs and nods before getting up. Once he is firmly on his feet he reaches his hand to me. I take it and he helps me up. "Thanks."

We walk into the kitchen. When we walk in Kili looks at us and anger dances in his eyes. "Good morning, you two." Gandalf says cheerily. He walks over with a huge giant of a man. His face was framed in a fur-like beard. His eyebrows where long and continued to grow all the way to his hairline. His skin was tan and his shirt opened halfway down, realigning his toned chest.

"Are you Beorn?" I ask quietly. He nods.

"And you must be the seer Gandalf has told me about." He says.

"What!" Kili cries out. He looks at Gandalf. "You're endangering her safety! Why would you you do something like that! Don't you care about her?"

"I do care about her, Kili. Don't you see though, in order for Beorn to trust us, we need to tell him everything about ourselves." Gandalf says in his typical Gandalf calmness.

"Everything? Even our deepest secrets, Gandalf?" Kili asks.

Thorin then interrupts. "I don't think he wants us to go that far. Do you Gandalf?"

"Beorn? Is that what you need to gain our trust?" Gandalf looks to the giant with little question in his wise eyes.

"Some." Beorn says. "That dwarf with no beard seems to be hiding something. Something very dear to him." Beorn looks at me. Realization dawns on him. "This girl. She is important to you. Very important indeed."

"W-what? Impossible! I could never hold a hobbit dear. I am royalty in the dwarf kingdom, such a low class person like Isabel means nothing to me!" Kili says firmly. Pain stabs my heart and I run. That's all I do. Run. I hear somebody call my name but I do not listen. I just keep running.

I stop some time later and sit on a rock. Tears swell in my eyes and when they overwhelm me I let them flow free. "Isabel." Bilbo says as he sits down next to me. "He didn't mean it. You know he didn't."

I shake my head and continue to cry. Bilbo pulls me into a hug and I just sit there. "Isabel. It's alright. It's going to be alright."

"How do you know?"

"Because I know Kili. He wouldn't hurt you purposely." Bilbo says. "He cares too much."

"Why would he care about me?" I sob. "Such a low class person like myself means nothing to him."

"Why is this bothering you so much, Isabel? Maybe if I knew why, I could be of more help." Bilbo offers.

"Yeah. Okay. I like Kili. I like him as a friend. To hear a friend say that they don't care about me hurts you know?" I look to him and I see compassion in his eyes. He nods.

"Okay then. I'm going to leave you here to let what happened sink in. I'll go back to Beorn's place and you come when you think you're ready to face the day." I nod and Bilbo carefully and slowly walks away.

When Bilbo is long gone, I hear a rustling in the bushes. "Who's there?" I call out.

Then, a tall pale figure stands before me. He picks me up and carries me away.

Kili's POV

"Why would you do that!" Bilbo shouts when he stomps back into Beorn's house.

I turn to him and scowl. "Maybe because it's what I had to do!"

"Why? Why did you have to do that?" He snarls. "She cares for you. You are her friend! And you just betrayed her like that!"

"It's something I had to do!"

"No it wasn't!"

"ENOUGH!" My uncle roars. We both quiet down and look at him. "What is the matter with both of you? Do you not know who you're dealing with? Isabel! Isabel is who you dunderheads are dealing with. She is tougher than every dwarf here. No matter what, Isabel will be able to handle something better than all of us."

"Where is Isabel?" I ask.

"In the woods. She's very well hidden in there. You can't see or hear her."

"Orcs!" Beorn suddenly says. "There are orcs in the forest!"

"We must save her!" Bilbo cries hopelessly.

Isabel's POV

"Come now, girl!" Azog says. His gross wet hand holds me fast while I make a poor attempt to get free. "My master wishes to see you."

"Yeah." I struggle. "But I have no intention of ever meeting him!"

All of a sudden I'm jerked towards him. I smell his salty breath on my face and try to ignore the fact that this is Azog in my face and not a dear dwarf or something. "What does it matter to me if you don't want to meet my master. My master says he has a plan that will destroy you and your future."

"Then why does he need to see me if he thinks his future is set?" I ask curiously. I know it is wrong, but I need to figure out what the heck this vile creature is talking about so I can help Gandalf or Thorin.

"He does not know his future completely. That is why he needs you. You can see the future. Even if you can't see it know, my master can put you to good use."

"Who is your master?" I ask, wondering who would do such a thing.

"My master is Sauron the Great!" He says with pride.

An eye. Dark in the center and red fire spreading outwards.

Darkness.

Gandalf.

"No light can kill this darkness."

"No!" I scream. "I will not go with you! You'll have to kill me first!"

"But why would I do that?" Says the grotesque beast. "Why would I kill something so valuable and beautiful?" His hand strokes my squirming face.

"Isabel!" Someone shouts.

"Here!" I call in hopes to get saved.

"Don't come any closer!" Azog shouts into the forest. He grabs me roughly and holds a blade to my neck. He applies little pressure, but I feel something trickle down my shoulders and under my clothing.

"Isabel!" Thorin cries as he comes across us. "Now you let her go, Azog!"

"Why would I do that? She is mine. I found her. Finders keepers!"

"No. Isabel is ours! We had her first!" Thorin cries again.

"So I'm a piece of property now!" I shout to no one.

Suddenly, there is a cry from Azog and he releases me. I do not waste a moment in running a safe distance away from the terrifying orc before turning around to see what had caused the disturbance. Before me stands Bilbo, his sword ablaze and glowing a beautiful blue. "Run." Is all he can say. I do not waste any time getting away from that horrid place.

Okay! Next chapter out. I hope you liked it!
