She slowly opens her eyes seeing Yuya, and everyone else were outside the school.
"Big... brother?" Hikari asked quietly.
Yuya smiled, "Hikari! You did it!"
Hikari blinked before smiling. "Yeah, they're free."
She looked up at the sunset sky reaching her hand to them. 'I hope I'll meet you four again one day.'
"And their's more." Yuto told her. "All of us are now able to qualify."
Hikari pouted. "I missed your duels big brother?"
"Yeah. Your resting was more important." Yuya answered.
Hikari still pouted but then hugged him. "We made it big brother."
"Yeah we did." Yuya smiled.
"Congratulations you two." Yoko smiled.
"Momma..." Hikari trailed off,
Yoko walked over and hugged Hikari.
'I did what you asked Declan, now you can help me so I can keep her safe.' Yuya thought.
Hikari hugged Yoko. Yuya turned to them and smiled before pausing. "Zuzu, what about Sora?"
"He got the matches he needs already." Zuzu answered.
Yuya smiled hearing that. "Did you hear that Hikari?"
Hikari nodded smiling about it. Suddenly the phone started to ring. Yoko answered it, "Sakaki Residence?"
"Yes, may I speak with Yuya?" inquired a male voice.
Yoko told Yuya, "Yuya this is for you."
Yuya took the phone. "Hello?"
"You held up your end of the agreement, so I'll keep mine. I'll be expecting you tomorrow to get started." Declan said calmly.
Yuya smiled, "Thanks."
"No, thank you." Declan said before hanging up.
Yuya placed the phone back.
"Who was that?" Yuto asked him.
Yuya turned to him. "A teacher of mine."
Yuto nodded at this.
"I need to head to bed so I can meet him tomorrow." Yuya mentioned before walking over to Hikari. "Night little sis, love you."
Hikari hugged him. Yuya hugged her back before smiling and waving goodnight to the others. The others said night.
"Yuya!" Kosa called.
Yuya turned to him. "Yeah?"
Kosa gave a smile, "Great job."
"Thanks." Yuya smiled.
Hikari watched him walking up the stars. Zuzu walked up next to her. Hikari looked up at her. "Are you his girlfriend?"
Zuzu turned bright red. "Huh, why do you ask that?"
"Well when Aura pinned him calling him 'darling' you were quite jealous." She explained.
"That's... I mean... well..." Zuzu stammered nervously. "What about you and Sora?"
"I have feelings for Tate... Until he turned me down." She reminded sadly. "I view Sora as a best friend."
Zuzu looked at Hikari surprised she could be so honest. "Oh."
"Um... Hikari?" Allie asked.
"Yeah?" Hikari asked.
"I'm really sorry." Allie apologized.
"It's alright Allie." Hikari said smiling sadly. "I understand."
"But you're sad." Allie said sadly. "I don't want my friends to be sad because of me."
"It's alright." Hikari told her. "I'll just find someone."
Allie looked upset. "You don't want anybody though, Zuzu said you love Tate."
"Yeah but he had feelings for you Aliie." Hikari reminded. Allie looked down hearing that. Hikari told her, "I will find someone Allie."
"I hope so." Allie said quietly.
Hikari only patted her back.
The next day...
Yuya was walking to LDS. He walked in and politely approached the receptionist.
"Excuse me, I'm here to see Declan Akaba." Yuya said.
"Yes he's been expecting you." The receptionist said. "Go to his office."
Yuya nodded and walked to the office. He knocked on the door.
"Come in." Declan's voice said calmly.
Yuay walked in. Declan stood up and picked up his duel disc. "Alright Yuya, lets begin."
Meanwhile at You Show...
"Oh yeah, Hikari who did you beat yesterday?" Tate asked. "You ran off and when we found you your duel disc said you already won your sixth duel."
"Some guy named Vilgax." She answered. "But he had a nickname called 'Terrorist'."
"Huh, you weren't hurt were you?" Zuzu asked nervously.
"No." She answered before explaining her entire time against Vilgax while telling them of Ryou, Sachiko, Yuki, and Tokiko.
"Those poor people." Zuzu gasped.
"Wow, you're a hero Hikari." Tate smiled.
Hikari blushed at being called a hero.
"Hikari, can I ask you something?" Yuto inquired.
"Yes?" Hikari asked.
"Do you mind summoning Sōrāraito?" Yuto requested.
"Why?" Hikari asked.
Yuto just smiled before taking out a card and showing it to her.
Dark Requiem Xyz Dragon.
"I thought the siblings should get a chance to spread their wings." Yuto explained.
Hikari smiled nodding summoning Sōrāraito. Yuto summoned his own dragon before smiling. "Once this is all over, and our home is back to the way it used to be you should visit."
Hikari nodded liking that. Yuto looked down after that. "Hikari... can you really trust Sora? Shay and I knew someone who we thought was our friend, but he was actually working for the Fusion Dimension and betrayed us."
"I can trust him." Hikari told him. "And you know why?"
Yuto looked at her. "No I don't know why. I know he seems like a good person and I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for you, but... You don't know what happened."
"You, and Shay explained it." Hikari told him. "I want to make peace with Duel Academy. Their must be something their doing, and I think they misunderstood."
J"That's not what I meant, the invasion... we were betrayed by someone we called a friend. A duelist named Dennis Mackfield, he's the one who called in the invasion. After claiming to be our friend and sharing in our laughter, our pain, and our lives he betrayed us." Yuto told her. "What will you do if Sora does the same thing? Or if Duel Academy harms your family?"
"Everyone has remose, and good in their hearts." Hikari told him.
Yuto looked at her and smiled before looking. "Maybe you're right, the problem is that some people just keep that part hidden away and only show the world their worst characteristics."
"Do you know what my name means?" Hikari asked him.
"Light." Yuto answered.
"And I believe that with the Light I give everyone in the Fusion Dimension will be peaceful people then what they are now." Hikari said before looking over, "You agree with me Sōrāraito?"
The Dragon roared before being tackled by Dark Requiem as the two of them flew off. Hikari smiled at her answer.
"Well, convincing the Fusion Dimension of that won't be easy." Yuto told her.
"I would like to try." Hikari told him.
"I didn't say you couldn't." Yuto smiled. "Of course first things first is this tournament."
Hikari nodded at this as she, and Yuto looked to see their dragons evolved forms having fun.
"You know what I think?" She asked him.
"That those two dragons look like little kids?" Yuto guessed with a smile.
"Or they are little kids." Hikari answered as they both chuckled.
"You know you're incredibly lucky Hikari." Yuto told her.
"For what?" She asked.
"For having met Yuya." Yuto answered.
"And you." She smiled.
"I'm not your big brother, and to be honest if you met me first you probably would hate Duel Academy and the Fusion Dimension too." Yuto admitted.
"We will find out Duel Academy wants, and help them in what they misunderstood." Hikari told him.
Yuto nodded calmly.
"Where is Yuya?" She asked him.
"With his teacher, remember that phone call?" Allie asked.
Hikari nodded remembering it.
Later that day...
Yuya, and Declan have finished their lessons. Yuya thanked Declan and was running back to You Show with a smile only to pause and grab his head in pain just outside the school. Yuto then started grabbing his head in pain with Yuya.
"Yuto what's wrong?" Hikari asked worried.
"Something's... wrong." Yuto said weakly before collapsing as Dark Requiem began roaring to the sky.
Sōrāraito appeared as she roared at Dark Requiem asking him what's Requiem continued roaring before Odd-Eyes appeared on the ground roaring in sync as two dragons appeared in the distance also roaring. Sōrāraito sends an image to Hikari's mind of what she's seeing. Hikari looked surprised. Suddenly Yuto looked up with his eyes glowing. "Watashitachiha hitotsu ni naru!"
'Those... words...' Hikari thought shocked.
At that moment Yuya burst in with his eyes glowing as well.
"Yuya!" Hikari cried shocked.
Yuya and Yuto glared at each other before activating their duel discs.
'No!' Hikari thought.
She got in front of Yuya activating her Duel Disk to stop him again,
"Hi...Ka...ri?" Yuya asked.
Hikari looked surprised before crying, "Yuya! It's me!"
Yuya's eyes started going back to normal as he lowered his duel disc but continued meeting Yuto's gaze. Hikari hugged him as Sōrāraito wrapped her wings around her brother. Yuya turned to look at Hikari only to see her tearing up as his eyes stopped glowing completely and he hugged her back. "Hikari... I'm so sorry."
Hikari continued hugging him.
"This wasn't supposed to happen." Yuya told her quietly. "Why can't I keep my promise to you?"
As he said this Sōrāraito continued to embrace her brother. Dark Requiem continued roaring in agony before Sōrāraito cried out and the two dragons vanished along with Odd-Eyes and the two dragons in the distance. That snapped Yuto out of it. Yuto looked around at the room. "What just happened?"
Hikari continued hugging Yuya as she cried, "Please don't scare me like that."
Yuya held her but didn't say anything. Yuto looked confused.
"Hikari... I can't promise that anymore." Yuya admitted sadly. "I want to, believe me I do but... I can't lie to you either."
"Please keep it!" Hikari begged.
"I can't control it Hikari." Yuya revealed to her. "I don't think it's even possible."
"Please!" She begged.
Yuya looked at her and closed his eyes. "I just can't Hikari. I don't know what could happen anymore."
Hikari started sobbing in his hold.
Yuya held her and looked up at the others. "How can I keep a promise that I won't let that happen again, when I can't control if it does?"
They only looked at each other. Yuya looked down at the sobbing Hikari and closed his eyes while holding her as everyone else saw the pain on his face as he lied. "I promise, this won't ever happen again."
Hikari continued crying.
"Hey, Hikari?" Zuzu asked.
Hikari looked over at her.
"Did you hear Yuya?" Zuzu asked.
Hikari nodded.
"Hey, Hikari do you mind if we get in one more practice match before the tournament?" Yuya asked her. "I think we all need some fun."
Hikari nodded thinking it would help. Yuya smiled before picking up his duel disc. "What kind of Action Field do you want?"
"The one you, and the Sledgehammer battled on?" She suggested.
Yuya nodded. "Ok, can you set that up Yuzu?"
Zuzu nodded walking up.
As the Action Field appeared Yuya smiled. "Ready Hikari?"
Hikari nodded.
"Ok, then you can go first Hikari." Yuya smiled. 'I hope this helps cheer her up.'

Hikari wasn't surprised seeing Synchro Summoned before. However what Yuya's summoning wasn't something she expected.

Yuya smiled seeing the three monsters. Three warriors of light vs three dragons of the same monster type they are. Sure is fitting inside the field of a castle.
"Hikari, are you done?" Yuya asked curiously.
"One thing first. Since I summoned Jubelius while I have a Pendulum Scale that has 'Light' in their names she can't be destroyed by effects." Hikari told him.
Yuya nodded.
"Next the special ability of Kenshin activates!" Hikari added. "Since Koliogi, Lyoko, and Jikopo are Pendulum Monsters when I summoned him he gains 500 attack points for each monster on your field!"
"So he gains 1500 points." Yuya mentioned.

Yuya only smiled as he jumped and grabbed an Action Spell. "I play Mirror Barrier to protect my monster."
Achilles attack struck a barrier. Hikari grunted, "I play Jubelius' ability to where Kenshin can attack directly but only he can attack! Go get Yuya, Kenshin!"
"I play Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon's effect, I use one Overlay Unit to negate your attack and revive Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver." Yuya countered. (ORU: 2 - 1)
The magician appeared as Kenshin froze.

"Then you remember Odd-Eyes Advent." Yuya said activating the ritual spell as Odd-Eyes Dissolver vanished.

'Huh?' Hikari asked confused. 'Why would he stop an attack he just ordered?'
"Now I get to summon another Odd-Eyes monster from my graveyard, and I think you know exactly which one." Yuya smiled.
"Oh so that's why." Hikari said.
Yuya nodded as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon joined the other four and he looked up at them and smiled. Five Odd-Eyes monsters of all the summoning mechanics were standing tall, and proud on his field.
"Zuzu, can Hikari Ritual Summon too?" Yuto asked.
"Yeah she can." She answered nodding.
Yuto nodded before turning back. "Then maybe... maybe she can get through to the Fusion Dimension."
Hikari waited for else Yuya is planning.
"I already attacked this turn, and I don't have any other cards." Yuya said. "To be completely honest Hikari, they're the reason I suggested a duel."
"The dragons?" She asked.
"Yeah." Yuya nodded.
Hikari nodded at this.
"Well, it's your turn sis." Yuya smiled. "Oh, and by the way there's one other tiny thing."
Hikari listened to him,
"You want everybody to get along right?" Yuya asked.
Hikari nodded at that.
"Well, then it's up to you to figure out the last step." Yuya said with a smile.

Hikari drew. Yuya looked on with a smile.
Hikari looked at the only card in her hand which was Fusion Recovery.
Yuya waited patiently.
"I play the spell card, Fusion Recovery!" Hikari cried.

"You gained 1000 remember?" Yuya asked. "Gravity Dragon just dealt 500 points of damage."
"Oh..." She said sheepishly.
"It's ok, so Fusion Recovery?" Yuya asked.
Hikari explained, "It allows me to add a monster that was used as for a Fusion Summon, and Polymerization back to my hand from the graveyard."
She shows Lyoko, and Polymerization.
"Ok." Yuya smiled.
"Now I play Polymerization to fuse Lyoko, and Kenshin to summon Leoric, High King of the Light!"
Her fusion monster appeared readying.

"A Synchro Monster as Xyz Material?" Yuto asked in shock.
"Dragon of the light grace us with your powers of the sun! With your heavenly glory show us what your power is about! Xyz Summon! Rank 7! Yūdō-tō, Dragon of the Light!"
Her dragon appeared roaring.

Yūdō-tō roared softly at him. Yuya just smiled.
"I play the effect of Yūdō-tō!" Hikari cried. (Hikari: 3500) "By using an Overlay Unit a monster on your field has their abilities negated!"
"Which one Hikari?" Yuya asked.
"Uh..." She stopped wondering which one. 'That's the big question... Which one?'
"Well, which ones aren't a threat?" Yuya asked her.
"Your Xyz Dragon, and Pendulum Dragon." She answered.
"So that's two you don't have to worry about, so its Gravity Dragon, Meteorburst Dragon, or Vortex Dragon." Yuya smiled.
She looked before Leoric asked her, "M'Lady you won't mind I pick which one?"
Jan 15, 2018"Huh, oh of course not." Hikari replied. "I trust you Leoric."
Leoric nodded before he pointed his finger one at a time, "Eni mini mo... Who's the dragon that is the... target."
With that he stopped pointing at Meteorbust.
"So you choose Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon?" Yuya asked.
Hikari nodded. The Synchro Dragon roared in frustration as its abilities were sealed.

"Achilles attack Meteorburst!" Hikari cried.
The Synchro Dragon shattered.
(Yuya: 3900)
"That ends my turn." Hikari ended.
Yuya 3rd Turn:
"Ok Hikari, I switch all my dragons into defense mode and end my turn." Yuya said.

Hikari 4th Turn:
Hikari drew seeing it was Rank-Up-Magic Sun Energy.
Suddenly all the monsters vanished.
"What the?" Hikari asked surprised.
"It was a power surge, I guess the duel ends in a draw this time." Yuya explained.
Hikari nodded understanding before revealing the card she drew

Duel ended with No Result.
Yuya walked over and hugged her. "Feeling any better?"
Hikari nodded hugging him back.
"Then finished or not the duel did what I wanted it to." Yuya smiled.
"Make me smile?" She asked.
"What else?" Yuya asked with a smile.
Hikari smiled giggling. Suddenly the door to You Show opened as if someone were leaving.
"Huh?" They looked.
Shay was gone.
"Shay? Where did he went?" Yuya asked.
Yuto looked down. "I get it, seeing you two... it must be reminding him how we have no idea what's happening to Lulu."
Hikari looked down.
"It isn't your fault Hikari, I'll go talk to him." Yuto offered.
Hikari nods at that. Yuto nodded before walking off. Hikari hugged Yuya again. He hugged her back.
