Sam was waiting impatiently by a rental car with Duke and two guards. Shawn was scoping out the Cassadine estate. They'd arrived in France late last night, but decided to wait until the following night to make a move.

Neither Duke nor Shawn want Sam to come with them to the Cassadine home. They wanted her to wait at the hotel while they handled everything, but there was no way she going to do that. Her son could be in that house and she was going to be a part of getting him out if he was.

Shawn walked towards them with a couple of guards. "The house is pretty well guarded. They're hiding something."

"Danny?" Sam asked.

"I didn't see Danny or Jake, but I didn't get a good look inside," Shawn said.

"Well, we should get moving. Alexis said there were four entrances, right, Sam?" Duke asked.

"Yeah the back and front and two side entrances," Sam said.

"My guess is all of them are guarded. We're gonna have to be careful," Shawn said.

Duke turned to the four guards they brought. Alright, two of you are going to take one of the side entrances and two of you will take the other. Shawn, you'll take the back. I'll take the front."

"I guess I'll go with Shawn," Sam said.

"Sam, no, you need to wait here," Shawn said.

"I'll tell you what I told you back at the hotel. I will not sit here while my son is in danger. I am his mother and I am going to get him," Sam said firmly.

"Sam, we have no reason to believe that Danny is even in that house. Yes, it's well guarded, but that doesn't mean he's the reason. All we know is that it's dangerous," Shawn said.

"Fine, give me a weapon. I know my way around a gun very well. I can protect myself," Sam said.

"And what if you end up dead. How is that going to help Danny and what do I tell Alexis?" Shawn asked. He and Alexis had been over for a long time, but he still had a soft spot for her and he didn't wanna tell her that her daughter was dead.

"That I did what I had to do to save my son. Without Danny, I have no reason to be alive anyway. Look, you either take me with you or I go on my own. It's that simple," Sam said firmly.

Shawn sighed before reaching down to his ankle and pulling out a gun. He then handed it to Sam. "Stick close to me."

Sam nodded and they all headed towards the property. Once there, Sam followed Shawn to the back. They immediately noticed a guard standing by the door.

Shawn held his gun out and very quietly made his way towards the guard with Sam right behind him. The guard had just noticed him Shawn shot him in the head, causing him to fall to the ground dead. There was a silencer on Shawn's gun, so thankfully no one would know just yet.

Very slowly, Sam and Shawn made their way inside. They ducked before every corner as they made their way through the house. They came to some stairs when a man came out of nowhere and noticed them.

"Who the hell are you?" the guard asked before making a move for his weapon. Before he could though, he dropped to the ground dead from Shawn shooting him.

"We shouldn't kill them all, should we? Even if Danny's not here, one of them might know where he is," Sam said.

"Trust me, there are plenty more here to interrogate," Shawn said before leading the way up the stairs. As soon as they got to the top, they noticed a guard standing by one of the doors a few feet away and another headed towards him.

Shawn immediately ducked behind the corner and motioned for Sam to do the same.

"Danny might be in that room," Sam said.

Shawn didn't reply. He simply watched the guards and tried to come up with a plan.

"We have intruders. Several of our men are dead. We need to watch her carefully," one of the men told the other.

"Her?" Sam asked no one in particular.

"We definitely have to get in there. They're keeping someone here. Stay here. I'm gonna distract these guys. You make your way in there as soon as they're gone," Shawn said. He then carefully walked along towards the wall towards the two guards, ducking into a side hallway halfway towards them.

Sam waited and watched the two guards. A few minutes later, she saw Shawn on the other side of them with his gun aimed at them. He'd clearly taken the silencer off because a loud shot broke out.

Both men took their guns out and followed Shawn as he ducked back behind a corner.

With her path free, Sam immediately ran to the door the two guards were guarding. She tried the door and unsurprisingly found it locked. The immediately took a step back and rammed her shoulder into in an attempt to break it down. Of course it didn't work and just ended up hurting her shoulder.

Sam tried to think. She needed to get in that room, but she clearly wasn't strong enough to break the door down and she had nothing to pick the lock with. "Damn it!"

"Sam?" a voice from the other side of the door called out.

Sam recognized the voice right away. "Robin?"

"Yeah. Can you get me out of here?" Robin asked.

"Yeah, I'm trying. Hold on," Sam said as she tried once more to force the door open to no avail. Soon though she heard footsteps come towards her. She immediately pointed her gun in that director only to see Duke. She lowered the gun.

"Where's Shawn?" Duke asked.

"He's creating a distraction. We have to this door open. Robin's inside," Sam said.

Duke's eyes widened in shock, but he quickly recovered and approached the door. "Robin, it's Duke. If you're near the door, back away."

Sam moved away from the door to give Duke room to bust it open.

Duke backed away from the door a bit and kicked it wide open. He and Sam walked inside to find Robin just a few feet away.

Robin smiled at both of them and approached Duke to hug him.

Duke put his gun away and took Robin into his arms.

"I'm so glad to see you both," Robin said.

Duke pulled away after a minute. "How did you end up here?"

"It's a really long story," Robin said.

"You can tell it later. We need to get out of here," Duke said.

"What about Danny?" Sam asked. She of course wanted to help Robin get out of the place that had been her prison for God only knew how long, but her son had to be her priority.

"Danny?" Robin asked confused.

"Sam, I don't think Danny's here. These people were here guarding Robin, not Danny," Duke said as gently as he could.

"He could be here too though," Sam argued.

Duke turned to Robin. "Robin, have you heard anything mentioned about Danny Morgan being brought here?"

"No," Robin said still shocked that they had come looking for Sam and Jason's little boy. "Helena took Danny?"

Sam nodded sadly. "She has this guy who supposedly has amnesia working for her and he took my son in the middle of the night. You haven't heard anything?"

"No, I'm sorry," Robin said.

"Sam, I'm sorry, but I have to get Robin out of here. I doubt Danny is here anyway. We need to leave," Duke said.

Robin looked around as though she was looking for someone. "Where's Ja…"

Robin was cut off when Shawn entered the room holding arm.

"Shawn, are you alright?" Duke asked.

"Yeah, I think it's just a grase. I'm okay. We need to get out of here. Two of our men are dead. I told the others to abort,"

"He's right. We need to go and regroup. We are not giving up, Sam. We will find Danny," Duke promised.

Sam nodded reluctantly. They were probably right, it didn't seem like Danny was here. Shawn was hurt anyway and two others were dead. It wouldn't help her son if the rest of them got killed.

"Let's go," Duke said as he led Robin out of the room. Sam and Shawn followed.
