Kim's POV
"So what happen Kim? Tell me everything" Gaby said.
I sigh and said "Well at first it was easy, I just kept running until I find the city, then a car almost kills me, but Jack saved me. Then I realized that the people that where in the car are from the FBI; I was scared and freaking out because Jack was there and I didn't know if it was good to leave him there or tell him to run with me, both were dangerous for him; but at the end I took him with me. Then we got trapped and I- I"I start sobbing I couldn't continue.
Jack's POV
"Oh sweetie, come here" Gaby said.
Kim sat in the couch of the living room next to Gaby and hug her tight. I don't blame her; she had been through a lot. Gaby returned the hug and whispered calming words to Kim.
I sat next to Kim and put a hand on her shoulder trying to comfort her a bit more, and Gaby smiled at me.
Moments later Kim start talking again but didn't stop crying "I freak out and took my ninja stars and throw it at them, I kill one of them! I'm- I'm sorry I know that was wrong and really bad, but I swear it wasn't my intention I- I just wanted to go away without getting killed, I'm sorry Gaby"
"Sh sh sh calm down honey you were defending yourself, It's ok darling" Gaby said.
Once Kim calm down and start breathing normally again, she continue with the story.
I start fighting the other man and completely forgot about the third one until I heard a yell and saw that Jack had took him down, but I got distracted and the one I was fighting pushed me to the wall and I hit my head, he took out a knife and that's how I got the cut, Jack helped me took him down and when we were running to Jack's house I fainted so I don't know the rest"
"Let me see your ankle Kim" said Gaby and gave me a look that said 'continue with the story' while she removed the bandage from Kim's ankle.
I sigh and said "so after Kim fainted in the middle of the street I check her ankle and saw that that it didn't stopped bleeding and that it was bleeding a lot! So I ripped my shirt and put some pressure in it and carried her home so my mom can help her; that's all"
"Ok, Kim your ankle it's fine Jack's mom did a great job it's only a little swollen, I will give you something for that and bandage your ankle again, I will be right back."
Kim's POV
Once Gaby left I whispered "Thanks"
"What?" Jack said
"Thanks, I know I had told you that a million times and I really don't know how will I pay you back, but you helped me a lot instead of leaving me there in the middle of the street to die" I then look at him in the eyes and smile.
"Don't thank me Kim, that's what friends do and you are my friend" he said smiling at me too.
And I hug him.
I don't know what took over me to do that, but I just felt it was the right thing to do and I knew it was when he hug me back. I close my eyes feeling… nice when I hug him, breathing his scent and relaxing in his embrace. He smells good I dunno like what but it was sweat.
Jack separate from the hug and smile at me again and I start to feel my cheeks heating up so I smile and look away quickly. (AN: YOU KNOW GUYS THAT KIM DOESN'T KNOW THINGS ARE NAMED LIKE BLUSHING AND FEELINGS AND ETC. SO DON'T MAKE ME SAY IT, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN)
Shortly after our hug Gaby retuned with an ointment, some painkillers and a new bandage and said "Okay Kim, I will put this around you ankle and you will have to put it every time you take a shower or change your bandage until the red color around your cut disappear and for the painkillers same routine as always ok?"
"Yes Gaby, thanks" I said
"Wait, wait, wait… same routine as always?! What do you mean by that?" Jack said.
"Told you they got me hurt a lot and even worse than this, actually this is nothing compare to what they do in there" I replied. While Gaby bandage my ankle.
"About there Kim… I have to tell you something" Gaby said.
Nobody's POV
'Hello?'
"Give me an update Agent" Mr. Hurley said
"We followed the track as I said sir, but it finished in the middle of the street, we don't know where she can be, but we put cameras in the hole colony and agents at some points so we can look for her; we also put security at the airport and in the limits of the city"
"Very well, I think that will be enough, remember to have it as low as possible, we don't want people getting some ideas."
"yes sir, we will keep in contact"
Jack's POV
"WHAT!?" Kim yelled standing up
"Shhhh calm down Kim, I said people are looking for you and they are probably really close; they were following a track of blood, your blood kim" Gaby said standing up too.
"but they can't get close enough, I carried her for a long distance, they most likely lose the track in the middle of the street, that can lead you anywhere" I said
"I'm not sure Jack, I left early today and the agents didn't call at that time, I hope you are right" Gaby said "okay another thing, Kim don't freak out… you can't get out of the city I'm pretty sure that because they didn't find you today they will put security in the airport and at the limits of the city, so you are stuck in here"
"What's an airport?"
"Tell you later, okay next thing; I'm so sorry Jack but they are looking for you too because you helped her so you need to watch out too. You know everything right, Kim told you? Did they see your face?" Gaby said really fast.
"Gaby I think you need to sit down for a moment and drink a cup of tea" I said "let me make you one and we finish talking after that, I don't want you or Kim suffering a heart attack here"
"you are right Jackie, thanks" Gaby said
*Time skip after the tea*
"Feeling better?" I asked
"Yes Jack thanks" Kim and Gaby said
"Okay Gaby, I'm not gonna lie to you there is a chance that they saw my face, but the alley mas pretty dark so I'm not sure"
"Kids you have to be careful they will be looking for you everywhere, don't talk to anyone you don't know, it will be safer if you stay at home but if you need to go out use disguises, I wish I could be with you but I can't they are already suspicious, and don't tell anyone about this if they ask something Kim, tell that you are the niece of a neighbor and that Jack is showing you around okay?"
Kim and I nodded.
"I think is time for you two to go, Jack tell your mom thanks for everything and it will be safer if you don't tell her the true" "Oh and Kimmy sweetie please practice your lying skills they suck"
"Yes Gaby thanks" we said while we walk to the front door and hug her.
"Gaby?" Kim said
"Yes sweetie?"
"In my bedroom, there was an envelope with two photos, I forgot them in Jack's house, but do you by any chance know who those people where? One was a man with a woman with the tummy really big and the other one was the same woman but with a little baby in her arms" Kim asked
Gaby sigh and smile a sad smile "those were your parents Kim, and the little girl is you, I will tell you some other day more about them, when this ends I promise you that" she said hugging Kim. "I Love you baby girl" gaby mouthed while she let silent tears fall making sure that Kim didn't hear or see her.
"Bye Gaby!" Kim said after the hug smiling and getting out of the house.
"Bye sweetheart I will see you soon" Gaby said
I was beginning to follow Kim when Gaby stopped me "Please Jack take care of her, she is like my daughter to me, show her what I didn't get the chance to tell her please let her know what love and real life is"
"I promise Gaby" I said and she hugs me.
"Goodbye jack I will keep in contact with you"
"Bye"
