Chapter 13: Emotional Preparations

The week of the Aria of Desire is nearing its end and, at the perfect time, it all comes together. Thanks to the wise old emperor, Jaymes now knows that this mysterious living entity that's been lying dormant within his being since he and his brothers were born… is actually a Mega Pokémon called the Dragobsidian, a powerful Dragon/Psychic type that holds the very key to helping Meloetta defeat the all-powerful Genesect. In addition to these amazing findings, they've also got Diancie to help the other legendary Pokémon with the young ninja's inner Pokémon. She's known him since the day he was born and she's become a secret family friend for now. Only a few things were left now for Jaymes to do:

Train Meloetta into the family tradition of Ibuki's ninjitsu

Find the Dragobsidianite

Consult with Princess Diancie to awaken this mysterious Pokémon

Protect Meloetta and give her all the love in his heart until the final battle

All four of these tasks were not to be classified as 'easy', but it wouldn't matter to him anyway. All that matters is that he keeps his family, Meloetta, and the entire Pokémon universe safe from the evil cloud that the monstrous Paleozoic Pokémon has wrought. Xerneas may have healed the entire Unova region, but all of the Pokémon still have emotional and mental scars for the young aspiring ninja to heal.

The next morning after the Aria of Sensual Touch was complete, Meloetta was already at the triplets' open bedroom doorway and just stood there in an elegant pose with a smile on her face that was just as heavenly as she waited patiently for Jaymes to wake up. Dyvo and Zari woke up first and smiled upon seeing her, but never said a word as they casually got up out of their respective beds and walked past her, having Zari give her a reassuring pat on the left shoulder along the way. She nodded once in response to it before turning her attention back to the still-snoozing Jaymes.

He looks so peaceful when he's asleep. I'm so happy that the Aria of Sensual Touch went through without any issues. His urges for me have been completely tamed, thanks to both the Emperor of Japan and Ibuki. Now, all that's left is to focus on my special training for my final five moves. I'm excited about it! After seeing how easy Jaymes and Ibuki makes being a ninja, I'm sure I can up that ante a little bit with my power of flight.

"Meloetta?" Ibuki's voice called out from the Harmony Pokémon's right side. She nearly jumped as she turned towards her, but still kept her pleasant morning smile. "You're watchin' Jaymes while he's asleep, huh?"

"Yes. I figured I'd wait for him patiently before we end this Aria of Desire in two days before he has to meet with Diancie at her Diamond Domain." Meloetta replied with honesty. "That's not bothering you, is it?"

"No, not at all. I just wanna let you know that since these are the last two days, Arceus, Tommy, and I figured you could use those for your training to find the Dragobsidianite." A training journey? Sounds interesting. I only hope it's not too dangerous. "I haven't been on a training journey since I was fifteen back when I was living at the Glade of Ninjas. It's a crazy training session where you have nothing but your mind, body, spirit, and the essence of nature to help you find your inner ninja. Fortunately, it only took me a whole day to complete it. Hopefully, it'll be the same for you."

"Same here. So, will this be Jaymes' first time with this as well?"

"Yeah, but I'll bet his quick learning ass will figure it all out within just seconds of starting it… as usual." Tee-hee! I love this woman. Her humor is unmatched. She's jealous. "Like he said before, though, it won't be easy."

"I'm sure it'll all be fine. Now that his sexual urges have been tamed, it'll probably a little less difficult."

"That's what I'm prayin' for. Now, as for the location you have to train at, it's in an ancient forest: Unashi Forest." Jaymes had woken up upon that last word, which was completely oblivious towards the two ladies at his bedroom door. He remained silent as he listened in. "It was forbidden to visit by the Emperor himself."

"Why?" Uh, oh…

"Fifty years ago, an ancient Japanese clan called the Midnight Wolves resided there. They tamed and kept a huge pack of seventy ravenous wolves as pets and many visitors suffered at the mercy of those bloody-thirty fuckers. Ten years after that, the Emperor immediately declared all visitors to be forbidden to go there anymore and, with the wolves being hungry, they ended up eating every last member of that tribe and even each other! In the end, only fifty of those wolves remained to this day, which is kinda ironic, since it all started fifty years ago. Maybe that was left that way as a handy coincidence. Your main goal there is to kill every last one of those wolves, so we can visit that forest again… but there also have been rumors than a priceless stone is being held there under the protection of those wolves as well. That… could be the Dragobsidianite, but I'm not 100 percent sure on it."

"Oh, wow. So, basically speaking, if we complete this training and defeat all of the wolves simultaneously, we'll obtain the Dragobsidianite."

"Yeah, there ya go! Ya got it."

"But, why train in such a dangerous location?" Jaymes asked abruptly as he approached the Harmony Pokémon and gently planted his massive, but soft hands upon her shoulders for comfort, making her smile even more.

"Somebody's gotta clear out those wolves, Jaymes. That's why! In the end, you'll get the most important item in your life and be one step closer to actually having sex with Meloetta." She had to mention that, didn't she? It's making it seem like that's the only thing he wants from me: my body… but I know that's not true. He loves me for so much more than that.

"I hear you, Mother, but that's not my main focus, even though I love Meloetta more than anything."

"I know, but you have to do this for the sake of both her and us citizen all over Japan. You do this now and you'll never have to deal with those damn wolves again for the rest of your life. I promise you that." Ibuki paused as she approached her youngest triplet son, which made Meloetta move aside in respect as she kept that same smile, adoring the tender mother and son moment. "I love you, Jaymes. You may be the biggest man I know, but you still have a heart that's as fragile as the baby that you are. If the words of this mission don't motivate you, here's something that will: The Hashinfury Dragon Strike I told you about… the Dragobsidian already knows that move." Ah-ha! There it is! It's no wonder she kept saying she nearly killed herself using it against that dangerous criminal many years ago. No mere human should live after using it. Only something as strong as a Mega Pokémon can wield it and control it. It's a miracle that she's alive.

"…wwwwwhat?" Jaymes muttered with absolute shock, feeling his heart beat hard against his chest and nearly jump up to his throat. "You… never said a goddamn thing to me."

"And what if I did, huh? What then? You wouldn't know what the fuck I was talking about, right?" Uh, oh… please don't fight with your son.

"…no." Jaymes bowed his head with shame. Ibuki nodded once with satisfaction as she placed a reassuring hand on his left pectoral with forgiveness. "But, still…"

"Yeah, yeah, I know. You would still have the knowledge ahead of time, but hey. Families are famous for bad communication and we're not opted out of that trend, okay? We're not an ordinary family, but we're still a family, damn it! And nothing… is gonna change that. Understand?"

"Yes, ma'am." Jaymes then slowly took his short mother into his massively diesel arms and hugged her tight, but gently as he buried his tearful face into her shoulder. "Please forgive me for being so harsh towards you. I'm sorry."

"Awww, it's okay, son." Ibuki returned the hug as she said this. "The important thing is that now you know the secret behind it all and we've got all the info we'll need to kick Genesect's armored-bug ass down to Hell where he belongs." It was silent for the next two minutes after that was said. Meloetta never bothered them as she continued to watch with sorrow in her glowing blue eyes this time as her tears were swelling up, but never escaped.

Awww. So tender he is towards everyone, especially his own mother. I feel their connection. This mother and child bond is a hundred times stronger than usual for some odd reason. It's probably their ninja status and their sixth sense operating at the same time that pulls them together like magnets every second they're in each other's sights. I think that's nice. I'll let them have their moment. They deserve it for an enduring a harsh life so far.

Meanwhile, up in the Pokémon Heavens…

"Mewtwo's-crying,-everybody." Azelf pointed out in a handsome male voice with humor. Everyone turned away from the bonding moment between Jaymes and Ibuki out of curiosity and Mewtwo tried to act normal at that moment, but to no avail. One tear already escaped from his right eye and he proved that guilt by not wiping it away.

"It's a tender family moment." The Genetic Pokémon confessed. "What was I supposed to do?"

"Heh, heh… at ease, Mewtwo." Arceus reassured with a smile. "You are forgiven. I always knew there was a heart in that ice cold stare you're so famous for. You just have a funny way of showing it. Anyway, I guess Diancie was right. Despite Jaymes' massive size compared to the rest of his family, he's as gentle as he can be. He treats both Ibuki and Meloetta like precious stones, no matter what."

"It's hard to believe." Xerneas admitted. "But, having that nature alone does help in the future. As soon as his training with Diancie begins, Genesect will be shaking in his armored legs in fear once he sees his newly defined state."

"Exactly. I do wish him all the best of luck with this journey as well as his private meeting with the Diamond Domain Princess. The Dragobsidianite should be there in that forest."

"It is." Jirachi, Mewtwo, Mew, Victini, and Celebi replied in unison, making all of the other legendary Pokémon nod once with satisfaction as they kept their eyes on the footage.

As for Diancie, Dace, and all of the other Carbink at the Diamond Domain in Kalos, they were also admiring the silent, but sweet family bonding moment between Jaymes and Ibuki. Dace finally had a tear escape from each eye, but since he could wipe them away, he just had to deal with it. Diancie, on the other hand, was able to wipe some of hers. The rest of the Carbink looked on from all over the caves and was emotionally moved as well as the Jewel Pokémon Princess spoke.

"This is EXACTLY why I love Jaymes so much." She confessed through her usual telepathy as she kept her smile of sincerity. "Despite his extremely muscular structure and massive size, he's got a gentle touch that probably no other man at his stature could possess. It's the love of his beloved Mother that's the main benefactor. It all started when he was a year old… making her feel so proud that he decided to take the path of the ninja during a ceremony at the Glade of Ninjas. That was a remarkable feat for an infant and it's been stuck with his heart and soul ever since. I can't wait to train him to finally awaken his inner dragon."

"It will surely be an invigorating experience for all of us." Dace agreed as his tears were finally slowing down. "For now, however, we must pray for the very best of him in this dangerous journey to the Dragobsidianite in Unashi Forest. I have a feeling that it will last these last two days before Jaymes has to be here."

"I have total faith in him. He's gonna be okay."

As for Pikachu, Samurott, and Fraxure, they were all in the happiest tears as well as they saw this seemingly endless embrace between Ibuki and Jaymes. They were speechless and nothing but a prayer of success in this journey echoed in their minds.

And finally, for Genesect and Giratina, the Renegade Pokémon's sniffles finally sounded right behind the monstrous Paleozoic Pokémon and he was already annoyed at the fact that he had to watch this sweet moment, but salt was rubbed in the gash even more when he heard Giratina crying. In fact, he was so speechless and disgusted that even his mind went blank. All he could do was just stand there and watch with the throbbing pain of agony flowing all over his armored body. He endured it, though.

Back at the Totanuki Mansion…

"BREAKFAST IS READY, YA'LL!" Tommy called out from downstairs right when Ibuki and Jaymes had just ended their nearly eternal embrace of forgiveness. Meloetta still stood at a good distance away from the two as the ninja matriarch started to gently stroke her youngest son's face, wiping his tears along the way.

"I know you two will be fine out there." Ibuki started in an adorable whisper as she looked up at Jaymes. "Since it's your first time doing this training journey as well as Meloetta's, just keep in mind one thing: You've gotta use every sense you've got."

"Sounds reasonable enough to me." Jaymes replied with a nod as he finally gained the strength to wipe his own happy tears. "Just one more question about those wolves…"

"How big are they?"

"Yeah."

"Well, lemme put it this way: You know how big a Great Dane is, right?"

"…fuck." Uh, oh… I guess Great Danes are another breed of dog and they must be… (Gulp) …huge. Jaymes is just as nervous as I am.

"Yeeeah, they're pretty big. Using your senses as well as your weapons is the only way. There is an Alpha Male of the pack and he's the only one that actually gained human intelligence from eating the tribe members. In other words, he's the only one that can talk… and he's also the one guarding the possible Dragobsidianite."

"Don't worry, Mother. We'll make you, the rest of my family, Arceus, and all of the Pokémon Universe proud."

"Oh, I know you will. Right now, though, I'm starving! Let's eat!" With that being said, Ibuki wasted no time making her way downstairs. When she was gone, Meloetta finally approached Jaymes and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"I guess this journey will be a lot more difficult than I predicted." The Harmony Pokémon admitted. Jaymes nodded twice in agreement as he started hold her right hand and led her downstairs. "It'll literally be a life-risking journey."

"And it'll probably all be worth it in the end." Jaymes replied before he returned the kiss, but on the mouth this time as a soft peck. This made her blush and he noticed. "Heh, heh… I am well-controlled in terms of my passion towards you now."

"I know that. You're just… so charming and sweet. I'm still taking in this personality you've got with this extremely diesel body. It just… doesn't add up to the other humans as well as myself."

"It's gonna take some time to get used to, but in the meantime, there's a dragon inside of me that needs to finally be awaken from its eternal slumber."

"Right! Let's go eat!" And I know Diancie is probably gushing over him as well because of his gentle nature. That's probably what nature this Dragobsidian has. He's got an increase in Special Defense, but his Defenses are little low… but, knowing Genesect, special attacks are probably ALL he's got under his armor. He won't stand a chance against Jaymes. I know it! I have total confidence in him.

Minutes later, at the breakfast table…

"A trainin' journey, eh?" Tommy asked in wonder. Ibuki nodded with her mouth full as she taking in her first forkful of delicious pancakes.

"Yeah…" She replied with a stuffed mouth before she swallowed and continued. "…it's something you samurais would never know about until now."

"Oh, sure, Mom." Zari muttered with sarcasm. "Rub it in, why don't ya?"

"Hey! I'm just sayin'. Anyway, yeah. This journey's got two goals: Kill the wolves and get the Dragobsidianite. Along the way, Meloetta's gotta let that inner Pirouette Forme out by ways of the ninja. It all has to be done with no powers, no mercy, and no fear. In other words, Mel… there's gonna a challenge where no flight can be done." Oh, no… and I've been flying for my whole life. I don't know if I can. "That's not too much to ask for, is it?"

"Way too much, yes." Meloetta replied with a strict tone in her adorable voice, making Jaymes look over at her with a glare that could turn even the most evil Ghost-Type Pokémon into a cowardly spirit. She felt that stare, but never looked away from Ibuki, who was sitting right across from her. "I've been having the power of telekinetic flight for my entire life. What the hell does the lack of flight have to do with this?!"

"Oh, it has a significant purpose, Meloetta… and you're gonna try it to find it. Jaymes is gonna makes sure of that. Aren't you, Jaymes?" Meloetta looked over at him with an intimidating glare of her own.

"Well…" The youngest triplet struggled to get his deep, sexy voice in perfect sync with his serious side, as he hated to talk down to Meloetta. "…I did promise you and Mother that I would be strict on you when it comes to the training… and having you temporarily delete your ability to fly will be difficult. So, being violently harsh is the only way to tame your inner Pirouette." I was afraid he was gonna say that. I know he won't hurt me in the process. He'll NEVER want to hurt me. "But, since I love you so much, I promise I won't physically harm you." See? I knew it!

"I understand, Jaymes." Meloetta reassured as she eased off her death stare and replaced it with a heavenly smile, which made the young ninja smile right back. "Just teach me in the same way you taught yourself."

"Again, I promise." They both stared into each other's eyes, but never leaned in for a kiss for once. Their eyes were mesmerizing enough and seeing this made both Ibuki and Tommy cry the happiest tears in the world. As for Dyvo and Zari, they just admired the scene with smiles, proud to see their youngest brother control his urges.

"Huh!" Don was the only one speaking. "That Aria of Sensual Touch really worked. They're not kissing for the first time. This journey will be a breeze."

"I hope so." Ibuki agreed with a shiver. "Jaymes…"

"Yes, Mother?" Jaymes replied as he now held the Harmony Pokémon's slender hands in his soft, massive ones as he looked over at Ibuki.

"Make sure you bring the MoveDex Tablet with ya. I just… have a feeling that you need to for some reason."

"It's for Diancie's sake, isn't it?"

"…yeah."

"No problem." She'll probably unlock that final move for me, since I can't be there with him. The real benefit of this journey, though, is that I'll be so much closer to him than when I was getting my language barrier broken back at Jeffery's. Still, my worries about Genesect are sky high.

This is gonna be a fun journey to me.

Several minutes after breakfast, Jaymes and Meloetta were gearing up for their dangerous training journey into Unashi Forest. Only Jaymes did the packing within his room and Meloetta sat in mid-air with elegance right next to him on his left while Don and Snow were on his right, watching him with both curiosity and concern.

"So, your first training journey… and with a Pokémon no less." Don started with humor, making both Jaymes and Meloetta laugh just a little bit. "Aside from the nerves I know you got for this, aren't you also a little shaky about meeting Diancie for the first time?"

"I do admit it, Uncle Don." Jaymes started with a little shame. "Meeting Princess Diancie will be a nerve-wracking experience. Regardless of that, though, I'm prepared for anything. Awakening this inner dragon won't be a simple mission."

"Oh, boy… you sound sooooo confident." Tee, hee, hee! Don's sense of humor is just as good as Ibuki's. No wonder their connection is just as strong.

"Heh, heh-it's the truth. Diancie will probably have you use her fellow Carbink as my 'punching bags', if I may. Since Dragon-Type moves won't even lay a claw on them, it's the perfect opportunity to unleash this Dragobsidian with finesse."

"Amen to that, bro." Dyvo commented. "Will you… still be yourself when you get to it?" Mm! Took that question outta my mind there.

"…I don't know." Jaymes admitted this answer with no ounce of sweat on his face, which made his brothers and tanuki uncle nod in understanding while Snow and Meloetta just looked on and listened with concern written all over their faces. "It'll be my first time maintaining two souls at once."

"We have total faith in you." Snow reassured with a smile as stood on his hind legs to give him a pat on the shoulder right when Jaymes just finished packing and zipped up the heavy duffle bag. He remained kneeled down to meet with the albino Komodo dragon. "Just make sure you keep us posted on success of mission, yes?"

"I won't let you down." Jaymes reassured to his brothers, uncle, and pet monitor lizard before he stood up and carefully slung the duffle bag over his left shoulder at the exact same time Meloetta stood on her feet. "Meloetta, your flight to the forest is considered your final flight until we complete this journey. Is that clear?" Damn! Already!

"Yes, baby." Meloetta reluctantly replied, despite her oncoming annoyance. "I'll make it worth my while, then."

"Awwww, you're so cute when you're pissed." Jaymes figured he could put a smile on her face with the sexy drawl in the humorous phrase, but to no avail, which made it even cuter to him. He didn't add more to it, however, as he started to make his way downstairs with the Harmony Pokémon not too far behind. Hearing that last phrase made his brothers shake their heads with humor as they watched them both leave for the most dangerous journey of their lives… all to save the entire Pokémon Universe. As for Don and Snow, they only followed Meloetta and Jaymes until they got to the doorway to the triplets' room, where they sat like good pets. When the couple was out of earshot heading downstairs, Don just had one thing to whisper to himself as well as to his Komodo dragon friend and nephews:

"No matter what happens to ya, Jaymes… we'll still love ya as a family."

Fifteen minutes later…

Meloetta and Jaymes had just arrived at the Unashi Forest entrance with the young ninja making a smooth landing on his feet in a kneeled down position while the Harmony Pokémon made an elegant landing, just like in her Moonlight Serenade. Jaymes saw the whole thing through a side-glance and chuckled at how annoyed she looked upon her landing as he stood up straight.

"You really did make that flight worth it." He reassured with a handsome smile that made her mentally swoon as she blushed, even if she still kept a smug look of infuriation. "Heh, heh, heh, heh… don't pout too much. You're gonna be just fine. You'll soon realize that flight doesn't solve everything."

"…really?" Meloetta perked up with interest, erasing the blush along the way.

"Yes." He approached her and wrapped his massive arms around her for added comfort. "You won't regret the reason why once your training is complete. I'm leaving that a mystery until then. Can you do that for me? Can you wait?" Jaymes' deep semi-whispering voice rattled all six of the Harmony Pokémon's senses and she shivered as a result of that, but never looked away from his anomalous eyes.

"Yes, Jaymes." She replied as she started stroking his arms, feeling every inch of them. "I can wait, so let's take it slow. I'm sure those wolves won't be too much a challenge, despite their size."

"That's the spirit. Let's go." With that in mind, the two casually walked into the dense forest with smiles of confidence on their faces.

My annoyance about not being able to fly for this training journey has been complete erased because of Jaymes' compassion towards me. I'm actually glad he gave me a chance to reconcile my issues about it. Fighting alongside him as my reward will indeed be worth it.

Meanwhile, in the Void of Darkness…

Genesect's mentality was returned to normal as he became curious about what was happening with Jaymes and Meloetta. It's bad enough that he couldn't hear what they were saying, but it was even worse when he tried so hard to figure out why they were heading for a forest alone.

What the fuck are they up to here? They better not do what I feared. It probably won't matter, anyway. I'll still kill them dead in their tracks once my time has come to settle this once and for all!

Up in the Pokémon Heavens…

"They've finally arrived at this fateful forest." Arceus announced with pride in his God-like voice as he now had Diancie and the footage of Jaymes and Meloetta just arriving at a clearing that was circled by many trees and started setting up their campsite. "Princess Diancie, you said that you've been watching Jaymes since the day he was born, correct?"

"Yes." Diancie replied telepathically with a nod and a charming smile. Of course, Dace stayed next to her. "He grew up a little too quickly throughout his entire childhood and proved it even more by his arduous training that was privately instructed by his Mother, Ibuki. Being a Street Fighter legend, it was no surprise that she would be a little bit harsh in her training with her only ninja son, but in the end, she really didn't need the commands. Jaymes knew… the entire time… from birth to the start of his training at his age of five after his revision laser eye surgery… that he would be a far more superior ninja than his own mother! It was an incredible feat!"

"…I see. How did that turn out for the rest of the family?"

"It turned everyone else as speechless as myself. In fact, so much so… that Tommy's samurai training with his mother, Karthaji, and his two sons, Dyvo and Zari had to be placed on hold for the remainder of Jaymes' ninja training, which was for the next five years. It was worth long break. They were getting more entertained than ever before. Not even the biggest summer blockbuster movie couldn't pull them away from it!"

"WOW! He was THAT good?!" Manaphy asked with excitement in his adorable toddler's voice. Arceus remained speechless as he raised an eyebrow with astonishment. The other legendaries remained silent as well as they too were impressed.

"Of course! I never, ever make things up! I know what I saw."

"The most memorable event, however, is when Jaymes proved his absolute perfection towards the whole Totanuki family by completing a dangerous mission on his own at his age of 17." Dace added. "It was a massive and violent robbery at a bank that happened on dark night of a New Moon. Diancie was shaking the entire time."

"I was worried, Dace. Very… very worried. Jaymes had only a few knives within his arsenal while those cruel robbers had dangerous guns. They shot up the entire place, but they never touched him… and it was all being watched by his family through the surveillance cameras. He was able to execute all ten of those men with all the powers of the ninja… all done in just… wait for it… thirty seconds!"

"Unbelievable!" Yveltal and Xerneas exclaimed together by accident. Zygarde snarled in agreement with them.

"Indeed, but it's true. I saw it with my very own eyes. He was so young, but his skills were well beyond his years… like he's been training long before he was even thought of by Tommy and Ibuki."

"And I'm sure that memory lives on for the rest of their lives." Keldeo pointed out in a rocker's voice. "Arceus, you're lookin' kinda stunned over there. Are you alright?"

"Oh, I'm perfectly fine." Arceus finally spoke after a while. "I just had to quiet enough to let all of this sink in and, to be honest, Your Highness, I am truly impressed."

"Oh, I'm so glad you feel that way!" Diancie cheered as she pulled off her biggest smile since meeting the Alpha Pokémon. Dace's blue eyes squinted in the way of a smile as well. "So, I see that he and Meloetta has just finished setting up their camping grounds. Their training is about to start momentarily, but before it does, please stand by for a moment, Father Arceus."

"On stand-by now. Go ahead, Princess."

Back with Meloetta and Jaymes…

"Meloetta…" Diancie's voice started in the Harmony Pokémon's mind. She paused in setting up the cookware above the campfire and appeared stunned. Jaymes saw this and never interfered as the Jewel Pokémon continued. "…can you hear me?"

"Loud and clear." Meloetta said verbally, looking as if she was speaking the Jewel Princess through her treble clef headset. "Do you have more information to give me, Your Highness?"

"Not exactly. The Emperor pretty much did that for me, but actually, I wanted to warn you about the vigorous training you're due to endure with Jaymes. He has adopted his Mother's training techniques and hasn't left out one single lesson. Since you're a Pokémon, some of these moves will become 'Ninja Versions' of them. Do you understand?"

"I understand completely."

"Good. Now, before I let you go, there's just one piece of inspiration that just might help you handle the pressure: Jaymes practically taught himself the art of ninjitsu throughout most of his childhood. By the time he and his brothers were five years old, he the only one ahead of his own Mother's teachings. Dyvo and Zari… they were beginners in their own right, even though they were being taught the deadly skills of the samurai." Hearing that statement made the Harmony Pokémon's bright blue eyes light up as she looked over at the youngest son of Ibuki, who never let down his charming smile, making her blush. "It's amazing to hear, I know, but it's the truth. Trust me. I've been watching him ever since his birth."

"For that long?! And you never said a single thing about it until now!"

"I couldn't. He was just so much fun to watch when he was a child. I was shocked to see how much he's grown by the time he and his brothers turned eighteen. What a sudden change! At first, when he first became a teenager, Jaymes was lean, but skinny. Then, five years later, he gained so much muscle and grew so tall… it seemed like it happened overnight! But, only one thing hasn't changed: His kindness. His heart is as big as his own body, but deep down within his very soul, it's actually as fragile as glass. That will be fixed once the Dragobsidian has been released from his being. So, with all that being said, just keep in mind that even though he'll be harsh towards you, his gentle nature will not hinder his love towards you." Just as I suspected. His fragile heart disables his ability to bring harm to anyone he really cares about, despite his size. That's probably how so many haters got to him so quickly until I arrived, of course. "Will you take that into consideration?"

"Yes, Princess Diancie. I will. I have total faith in him."

"Same here… and all throughout the entire Diamond Domain. We'll be watching you with Arceus and the others. Good luck."

"Thanks." After that was said, the communication was cut off and Jaymes just had one question after all of that:

"Are you ready to start your training, my love?"

"Born that way, baby." Meloetta replied with confidence as she stood up from finally setting up the skillet over the bonfire and walked with Jaymes towards an area full of many various rocks to officially start their training.

Back up in the Pokémon Heavens…

"Diancie?" Arceus called out to her as he saw her eyes were closed in prayer. She perked up quickly upon hearing his demanding voice. "Were you giving spiritual hope towards the young ninja warrior?"

"As much as I could, yes." Diancie replied with honesty. "Meloetta's been given the most important information to keep her hopes alive for Jaymes. She knows, Arceus… she knows that he may be at risk of losing himself within the confines of the Dragobsidian's body. That's what I'm prepared for when the time comes for me."

"I understand that completely. It's impressive enough that it's currently lying dormant within his soul right now, but it kinda makes it even better when he can gain full control without losing himself."

"There's an even 50/50 chance, Arceus. There are no guarantees." Hearing that last statement made all of the Legendaries bow their heads with fear striking their hearts. Arceus was the only one who kept his focus on the Jewel Pokémon Princess with a stern glare in his eyes. "His safety is my top priority. He's the youngest son as well as the TRUE son of Ibuki. He's as precious as my diamonds and I shall treat him as such."

"Well… when the time does come for your training with the young ninja, you let me know and I shall let the entire Totanuki family know as well."

"Affirmative." After that was said, it was truly down to Jaymes and Meloetta alone to prove each other worthy of their respective destiny.

And of course, Genesect doesn't give two shits about it… whether he knew about it or not.

To be continued…
