7:30 a.m. December 1, 2014- Townsville High Auditorium

"Bubs, you've been so freaked out for like the past month. What's the matter?" Boomer asked the panicked Bubbles who was rifling through her backpack.

"Well, first off I can't find my history paper which I just had this morning. And second, we've been secret dating for over a month because you keep hanging out with that Amber girl!" Bubbles yelled at him. Her tone was completely tired out and she looked absolutely exhausted.

"I told you! We're just friends! And we still hang out a ton! You have nothing to worry about!" Boomer said, placing his hands on her shoulder and pressed his forehead against hers.

"But when you're not with me, you're with her! I have cheer practice most nights so what do you do? Help her with her lines and listen to her sing the entire night! In what relationship is that okay?" Bubbles said sadly, her head dropping.

"In a secret relationship it's okay. You're the one that didn't want to go public just yet when I asked a couple weeks ago! I've wanted to be with you for like three years!" Boomer said, now starting to get upset at her accusations.

"Fine. Then I guess you'll wait until I'm done with practice tonight so we can hang out or something?" Bubbles asked him, a sort of scary determined look was on her face.

"Um… well actually, I already promised Amber that I would help make the sets for the musical. It'll be over at like 9:00 or maybe 10:00! Then we can hang out!" Boomer said, trying to lighten the mood with enthusiasm.

"You know what? Never mind! I'll just go to Brick's house for a kickback then. And speaking of kickback, you better watch yourself in kickball first period!" Bubbles said, her fists clenched, eye brows furrowed and a look in her eyes that ultimately spelled out 'betrayal'. She then stormed out of the auditorium but with her head held down.

8:20 a.m. - Townsville High Gymnasium (First Period)

"Okay I'm just really confused here. Why the hell would you give up plans with Bubbles to hang out with Amber? You've been wanting to be with Bubbles for like… ever!" Buttercup whispered to Boomer in the line ready to kick in kickball.

"She blew me off when I wanted to go public before! It's kind of her fault." Boomer whispered back to her, trying to be as casual as possible.

"Well maybe it's because you're hanging out with another girl so much that people think that you and her are a thing? I mean I wouldn't want to go public either; she'd look like an idiot and people might think that she stole you from Amber or something?" Buttercup reasoned with him, laying out the options of Bubbles' possible dismissal.

"But I'm not with Amber! As far as anyone knows, I'm not with anyone!" Boomer said, now getting rather upset with what people have been saying.

"That is literally the opposite of what everyone has been saying," Butch jumped into their conversation, "There's like a severe rumor going around that you and Amber have been hooking up in the auditorium after school for like weeks."

"I feel like you should've mentioned this like a long time ago! What the hell guys? Why didn't you say anything?" Boomer whisper-shouted at them, now furious with his friends.

"We didn't want you to be upset! And we weren't really sure if you and Amber were a thing… It wasn't really any of our business." Buttercup replied to him meekly.

"Why would you think that me and Amber were a thing?" Boomer asked, now completely and totally confused.

"Well you hang out with her all the time, you blow off your dream girl to be with her, and you kind of talk about her all the time. More than you talk about Bubbles! And let's face it, Bubbles is much more interesting than her." Butch said, bringing all the basic facts out.

"What? You're officially insane Butch! Amber asks me to do stuff before Bubbles anyways! It's not like I chose Amber over Bubbles!" Boomer defended himself.

"Oh but you do, have you ever canceled plans with Amber to hang out with Bubbles?" Buttercup asked the irritated Boomer.

"Well no…" Boomer replied quietly.

"But I know for a fact that you've canceled plans with Bubbles to do something with Amber! You missed that Sex and the City marathon with Bubbles last week because Amber wanted your opinion for her wardrobe!" Buttercup said to him harshly.

"How do you know about that?" Boomer said, now feeling quite guilty that he did that to Bubbles.

"Because she called Blossom all sad and asked to do the marathon with her! That was a really jerk thing to do by the way Boomer!" Buttercup said to him, getting rather upset about how he had been acting lately.

"But Amber's was really important! She needed a second opinion so that they could be fitted right!" Boomer said, trying to make himself sound a little better.

"Oh but Bubbles inviting you over to watch one of her favorite shows and share that with you just wasn't important enough for you? Wow, since you'll probably have to find a new secret girlfriend soon, you can find yourself some new secret friends because we're out." Buttercup said as she pursed her lips, grabbed Butch by the collar of his shirt and dragged him away from the dumbfounded Boomer.

Maybe I need to rethink my choices lately.

12:21 p.m. - Townsville High Cafeteria

"Hey Bubbles! Could I get your help with something?" Brick said, running up to Bubbles as she headed towards the garbages.

"I guess? Hey what time is your kickback tonight? I might come by." Bubbles said in a confused and slightly irritated voice.

"It starts at 8:00 and do you happen to know what Blossom's favorite TV show or movie is or something?" Brick asked, scratching the back of his head anxiously.

Bubbles turned to him quizzically, her eye brows risen in surprise. "She really likes Disney movies and The Big Bang Theory, oh and Doctor Who. Why are you asking? You're not going to make fun of her are you?!" Bubbles yelled while getting in his face assertively.

"What? No! It's just that she seems a little down and I thought I could anonymously cheer her up." Brick replied, his face getting more flushed by the second.

"Or you do this crazy thing and just give them to her not anonymously?" Bubbles asked in confusion over his newfound nervousness.

"Well she doesn't exactly like me, and she'll probably think that I'm making fun of her in some way. Kind of like how you assumed." Brick said as he regained his composure and his face began to pale.

"She totally likes you!" Bubbles said without thinking, then gasped and quickly covered her mouth with her hands.

"Wait, what did you just say? Blossom likes me? Are you serious?" Brick rallied off his questions, now acting like a little kid asking for Christmas presents.

"I don't know what you're talking about! I didn't say that she liked you or anything like that! Gosh Brick get a hearing aid!" Bubbles said, scratching her head nervously and laughing awkwardly.

"No I definitely heard you say that! Thanks Bubbles! I'll definitely see you tonight!" Brick said very ecstatically.

"Don't tell her that I said that!" Bubbles shouted after him.

"Tell who that you said what?" Blossom said next to her, making Bubbles jump at the unexpected voice.

"Nothing! Nothing at all! You going to his kickback later?" Bubbles said, giggling nervously and twirling her hair.

"Are you going? If you are, then sure! Is Boomer coming?" Blossom said, a smile now filling up her face.

"No. He's not." Bubbles said, her mood suddenly shifting. Sure, Blossom didn't know about her and Boomer but that doesn't mean that she couldn't ship them together.

"Oh yeah, I think he was going to help Amber with something." Blossom said nonchalantly.

"Of course he was." Bubbles said in an angered tone.

7:08 p.m. - The Townsville High Auditorium

"Thanks for helping me tonight Boomer! I don't know what I would do without you!" Amber said happily as she painted the leaves of the fake oak tree.

"It's no problem! But why am I the only one here?" Boomer asked. Looking around he could see that it was just him and Amber, there was just a ton of paint and fake plants around.

"Well no one else signed up actually, but I knew that you would help me!" Amber said, squeezing Boomer's arm as she giggled softly, her cheeks starting to turn pink.

"I have no problem helping you out, I like painting so this is more fun than work for me!" Boomer replied, smiling back at her widely. He noticed the way her eyes shimmered from the stage lights through her long lashes, and he really couldn't take his eyes off of them.

"You okay?" Amber asked quietly, her face tilting and moving closer to his.

"Never better." Boomer responded without thinking. He was caught in her eyes, in her hair, in her entire presence really.

Suddenly he started to move closer to her face as well, it was like he was in a trance that he couldn't break out of. In that moment, it was just him and Amber. No one else mattered, not his so called friends, his reputation, not even Bubbles was on his mind.

When their lips finally met, it was as if fireworks were flying out of Boomer's ears. It felt so right, like this is exactly what he was supposed to do.

Their lips parted and Amber let out a soft giggle, "I guess we should get back to painting huh?" she asked, her smile as bright as ever.

"Yeah, I guess." Boomer said, still in his trance. Then it hit him, he had just kissed someone that wasn't Bubbles. This wasn't supposed to happened. He was just supposed to make Bubbles jealous at the most! Not cheat on her! This was bad, so bad.

What have I done?

7:42 p.m. - Townsville High Football Field

"I can't believe you did all of this! I never took you for the picnic type." Buttercup said with a laugh as she pushed Butch playfully.

"Well I'm not, but I figured I might as well cheese it up with a romantic picnic! I even brought cheesecake to really emphasize how cheesy this is!" Butch said with a laugh as he wrapped his arms around a giggling Buttercup.

The couple sat down to eat; Butch had made shrimp Alfredo, a large garden salad, mashed potatoes and of course cheesecake.

"I didn't know that you could cook, I'm rather impressed! It's actually kind of hot." Buttercup said as she rested her head on his shoulder.

He then kissed her forehead gently and began to stroke her hair as they watched the sun begin to set.

"Would it be less hot if I told you that my mom helped me?" Butch asked with a smirk.

"Oh no! That makes it even hotter!" Buttercup said as she laughed and ruffled his hair.

"Watch the hair baby! You'll ruin my rep!" Butch said chuckling.

"What rep? You're like that cat that keeps showing up to your porch looking for attention!" Buttercup said sassily.

"Hey no making fun of Chester! He's one cool cat." Butch said with a wink.

"You're so incredibly lame. But I love you." Buttercup said randomly.

"What?" Butch's face suddenly filled with fear.

"I mean I love it! I love how lame you are! Not you as a whole, obviously not." Buttercup said with a very nervous laugh as her hands moved awkwardly with her words.

"Yeah I thought that's what you meant! Just wanted to clear it up! Well um… I hate to be this guy but I don't to be too late to Brick's kickback. But you can come by later if you want! I should be home around like 1:00." Butch said with his dumb smile on his face.

"I actually need to catch up on my sleep, maybe next time!" Buttercup said as she tried to hide the hurt in her voice.

"Sounds good babe! Catch you later!" Butch said as he ran to the parking lot.

Note to self, keep your feelings to yourself.

8:25 p.m. - 140 Starlight Way (Brick's House)

The kickback was officially in action. Not like a full-blown party of course. It was relaxed with fewer people and a lot less alcohol to get wasted on.

"Enjoying the party Bubbles?" Brick asked Bubbles as he approached her.

"It's lovely." Bubbles said, her teeth clenched and anger all across her face.

"You okay? You seem stressed." Brick said nervously, kind of just wanting to walk away from her at this point.

"Never better. When are you gonna give Blossom her non-anonymous gifts? Or have you finally turned back into the jerk that you normally are?" Bubbles said in an angry tone as she turned to face Brick.

"Okay… unnecessary harshness. And I was just about to ask you to get her into my room so I could give them to her." Brick asked nervously.

"Oh yeah Brick, 'Hey Blossom I forgot my shirt in Brick's room, could you go get it for me?' that's a terrible idea. How the hell am I supposed to do that?" Bubbles asked, finding his idea absolutely ridiculous and ultimately a complete failure.

"Well… just wait until she needs to go to the bathroom or something! She'll ask where it is and then you direct her to my room!" Brick said confidently, rather proud of his new, slightly more thought out idea.

"Okay, I'll just hang by her until she's full of pee. Just keep notice of when she heads that way alright?" Bubbles hesitantly agreed to go along with the not-so-terrible plan.

"Awesome! You're the best!" Brick said before he embraced her in a tight hug.

"Let go of me!" Bubbles said in irritation as she shoved him off her.

"Alright, boundaries met." Brick said as he slowly backed away from the angered Bubbles.

Bubbles went to go stand by Blossom. She had been drinking a lot of lemonade since they had arrived and she'd have to go to the bathroom any moment now.

"Hey Bubbles, do you know where the bathroom is?" Blossom asked quietly.

"Upstairs, third door on the left." Bubbles said casually, trying to hold in the smile that was fighting to go on her face. As much as she couldn't stand Brick, Blossom really liked him and he was actually doing something kind of nice for her.

"Oh, I guess Bubbles didn't remember." Blossom said to herself as she opened the door to Brick's room. To her surprise, was very clean and there were a large amount of books scattered about. Since she was the only one upstairs, she decided to take this opportunity to look around his room.

There were pictures of him and all of his elite friends everywhere. Brick and Butch, Brick and Boomer, Brick and Alex, even a few of Brick and Bubbles which Blossom hated to admit, made her blood boil quite a bit.

There were many trophies and ribbons also in the room, they weren't even all athletic! A fair portion were actually academic! She was admiring his State Championship Football Trophy when she jumped as a voice greeted her.

"Being nosy?" Brick said as he leaned against the doorway to his room.

"No! It's not what it looks like! Bubbles said this was the bathroom and well… it's not so I just peaked in to see if the bathroom was connected and well… it's not either!" Blossom said in a complete panic, followed by a lot of uncomfortable laughter.

"No worries! Hey since you're up here I have something to give you actually." Brick said, his face beginning to flush. He tried to control it, but it just kept happening lately whenever he thought about Blossom.

"You do?" Blossom asked, she was completely surprised by this, along with the fact the Brick seemed to be genuinely happy to be around her.

"Yeah! You seemed down lately, so I asked Bubbles and she said that you really like Disney movies, The Big Bang Theory, and Doctor Who." Brick said in a very nervous voice. He then reached under his bed and brought out the complete box sets of The Big Bang Theory and Doctor Who, as well as Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast.

"Seriously? You got this for me?" Blossom said happily, a large smile making her way across her face. Her eyes now contained a new light that Brick hadn't seen in a while. He had missed it, her uncaring happiness that tended to engulf the rest of her for a few moments before she regained her composure.

"Well yeah! I consider us to be fairly good acquaintances and since I've been kind of a jerk to you lately, I figure that I owe you this." Brick said with a small laugh.

"Thanks Brick! I have been feeling a bit out of sorts lately, so I guess thanks for noticing and trying to make me feel better. You're a pretty decent guy." Blossom said to him, before she wrapped her arms around him and gave him an awkward but incredibly cute hug. She smiled at him before putting her gifts into her bag and heading back downstairs, leaving Brick alone in his room.

Maybe I should start trying to make her smile more often…

I think that this is one of my best chapters when it comes to having everyone in it! I hope you guys liked it! Update coming as soon as possible!
