wow, okay so I've been away haven't I xD. I'm sorry about that the creative juice weren't really flowing or I always got distracted on other ideas. Maybe writing those other ideas will help me with this one, you know get a clear mind. So yeah this chapter is what I came up with after reading my story over. Hopefully it will get the juices flowing ;)!
Chapter 13: Enemies
"Father?"
Minato looked up from his own pool of blood. His limbs felt broken but he couldn't tell. He could feel the blood seeping from the wound in his stomach.
He winced as he smiled at his son.
Earlier-
"How do you feel son?"
Minato asked placing a hand on itachi's head.
Itachi shrugged "I guess I feel fine." He said tired from all the medicine and test he went through.
Minato then nodded to Kakashi who began to play a sad tape.
" what do you feel, listening to this music?"
Itachi listened then shrugged.
" not so good?"
Another song began to play, this time of happiness.
" and..?"
"Not so bad..?" He was unsure what emotions he was suppose to be feeling , were these the right answers?
Another song played, it was a love song of a man madly in love and a woman who is also in love , singing to each other.
Minato waited as Itachi face scrunched up.
"I feel..."
"Warm..?"
Itachi nodded
Minato signaled Kakashi to turn off the radio.
" I think that's enough kiddo." He smiled. He got up leaving the boy to rest so he could record the effects of his medicine. Itachi had felt emotions though not very much but he showed emotion, true emotion. Human emotions. He stopped walking as he heard laughter. Making his way to the backyard he saw Naruto and Sasuke surrounding a hole. Garaa sat off to the side feeding a bird. He smiled at Garaa, he was the one he had high hopes for, he will be his next test subject. Just a loving home and friends and he had made progress without him creating a medicine for him.
No the medicine used for Itachi could not be used for him, they were of different blood. Maybe working on Sasuke would be much easier? He thought walking towards the Uchia boy.
He stepped closer as his eyes widened at the horrific scene his sons were creating. A squirrel sat in the dug out hole with fire ants swarming it. It twitched in agony as Sasuke and Naruto poke at it with sticks. Laughing.
"Hey dad." Naruto said without looking up.
"...nar..Naruto.," he tried to get his voice back".. Naruto, Sasuke , what are you two doing.."
"Having fun." "Yeah dad." Sasuke added on.
This is exactly what he was working on.. The emotions were wrong. While he felt sick disgusted sad and ashamed. They felt happy excited and in awe. All the wrong emotions.. The emotions are that of a demon.
He glanced at Garaa who just showed no emotions but was doing something at least human like.
Minato cleared his voice getting the boys attention.
"Why don't you go play with Garaa?"
They gave him a frown and looked at Garaa."that seems kind of boring dad." Sasuke said poking at the squirrels eye . "AH , sick dude you got the eye" Naruto laughed.
Minato knew he had to be patient but he was very angry and upset. He thought his boys were progressing but it seemed not.
" go play with Garaa." He said lowly
They sighed and got up to play with Garaa, feeding the bird. Minato released a much needed sigh and went to his study room.
Once finished he rubbed his temples to relieve his migraine. Only to have it hit him full force. He watched out his window as he saw his sons surrounding the same hole with the bird in it. Laughing except Garaa who only had a blank expression as Naruto forced him to poke the bird as well. Once Garaa started doing it on his own Naruto stood up with a satisfied grin. He looked up and locked eyes with Minato. His grin never wavering.
If Minato were to stop this... He'd had to start with the ring leader..
*back to Minato dying*
Naruto looked at his father with no remorse.
"Leave narut-.. Lea-leave him alon- e demo- demon.."
Naruto looked around as if to look for someone. " who are you talking to father? I'm the only one here" he said laughing.
"Naruto... Thi-," Minato begins coughing up blood. "Sh, father you are dying. And if you are wondering it is me. All me father. I'm not being controlled by any demon we are in fact one.. So we think the same. Pretty confusing aye father?"
"What..? B-but how?"
"Father, I accepted him full heartedly. But everyone has a little human inside them. If you would've targeted those weaknesses then maybe you could have saved them from their darkness. "
Minato coughed. "I know.." He wheezed." I ..I..I wish I cou-ld... Sav..ed you.. So-" with that Minato faded away .
Ellie's POV
I rolled to my side feeling alive. I got up stretching I felt really good.
Oh... Oh shit.
I soon remembered the events that had happened . Quickly I checked my leg that had a bandage on it. I got shot I know I did but how am I standing up with ease? Interesting. Garaa's eyes soon clouded my thoughts. He cared for me. I touched my bandage thinking about him. Ugh I'm doing it again the fucking mixed emotions ! I stormed out the room happy and frustrated all at the same time.
I walked through this new looking house, it felt the same as the last. Almost exactly the same . I frowned at the lack of creativity. Then a smell of bacon hit my noes. Oh how wonderful it smelt I was so hungry.
I rushed down stairs following my noes to the kitchen there was a plate of breakfast and A pretty girl in a maid costume. She smiled at me, gesturing to the plate. "Master Kakashi had left for awhile but he'd ask me to make breakfast for yall." Swiftly sitting down I began to practically devour my food before realizing the purple haired girl that sat across from me looking down at her plate. Untouched. Something urged me to eat her food but of course I didn't.
"Hey.."
She glanced up then looked back down.
Oh.. The hyuga. I felt bad for her, being in a situation like this. She looked so innocent and shy.
" are you okay?"
She nodded.
We sat there awkwardly for a minute
" well, my name is Ellie."
She looked up this time ," Ellie? The one that took down the-"
"Yeah, yeah " I laughed waving my hand in the air
"Didn't think that was still going around and for your info I had a make shift shank with a chicken bone." She giggled at this, then got this stern look in her face. She looked very angry at me. "What?"
"You work with the Dragoons so you have also assisted with Shizune absent." She said angrily. "what! Hey girl I maybe an assassin but I don't remember a Shizune , I don't even know..." I drifted off as I remembered the body. It made sense.
The Uzumakis were trying to frame us to start a war between us. I got up angrily. Those bastards! To think for a second that I felt comfortable.
I leaned over the table and grabbed Hinatas hands. "Listen, we did not kill Shizune I swear to you Hinata, but I know who did, the Uzumakis did. I .." Thinking for a minute I remembered how hurt her brother was. This person was important to her. Telling her she died would be tough. "How do you know?" She whispered eagerly. "I..I saw her."
Hinata stood up . "Where? Where is she?" I gave her a look of sadness and she understood as she sat back down.. Before getting angry at me again. "How do I know you aren't lying?" "Well for starters we are talking about the people that did that to you ." I said nodding my head to her arm, that was properly in it's place wrapped up. She hung her head down in defeat.
"What's that?" She asked silently.
I looked down to notice the blue USB popping out of my bra.
"Oh just a USB ." I shrugged bringing if out. "Oh, that's what my fath-..that's what he, has been after." she didn't really sound all to excited to mention her dad. She looked like she was ready to cry so I put a comforting hand on her shoulder.
"Let's go see what's so great about this USB shall we.?"
"Hinata."
"Nice to meet you Hinata." I smiled."but first you need to eat okay? And while you do that wanna tell me about the hyuga eyes?" I asked curiously. She nodded and began to cut into her food as we discussed our eyes.
Inos POV
One of them?
The Akatsuki?
Me?!
Well that's a shock.
The woman by the name of Konan walked me to a bathroom.
"Get cleaned up" she smiled "if you need anything just call me, names Konan." I smiled back and rushed to the shower. By god how I needed this. I smelt gross! Especially from all the torture. I sat in the steaming bathtub staring at the wall. Me an Akatsuki. How did this happen. After getting dress in the new Akatsuki gear I threw away my old clothes. I soon found myself in the hall not sure where I was suppose to go. What am I suppose to do?
So I just walked aimlessly. Until a came to a big room that looked close to a living room/ dinning room.
Although it wasn't vacant.
A blue guy sat at a table playing cards with a big guy who had stitches. On the couch was a boy with red hair watching a channel about the most poisonous creatures and plants.
Walking in everyone glanced at me and I froze. They looked at me as if I was weak! Then I got angry.
"What the hell are you staring at shitfaces."
The red head rolled his eyes.
The scary stitch man scoffed and the shark bastard chuckled.
"Got ourselves another Hidan on our hands don't we Kakuzu?" He said while betting.
"What is that suppose to mean? I'm nothing like that cock sucker." I said sitting down at the table.
"Whose a cock sucker?" A shirtless Hidan asked walking in from the kitchen with a milk carton in his hand. I glared at him. "Well if it isn't the Uchia bitch?"
I scoffed.
"I'm no ones "bitch"!" I growled.
"If you weren't on our side I would've made you my bitch " he said grinning sadistically.
I snorted and turned my attention back to the card game.
"Kisame." The shark man said passing some cards to me. "Kakuzu" the not so scary man after all grunted."Sasori" Sasori said not even glancing away from the tv. Hidan sat opposite of me still glaring.
"Ino. Nice to meet you all... " I said glaring at Hidan.
I couldn't believe I was sitting right here playing cards with the Akatsuki. This day has been truly insane.
After an hour or so of playing cards talking and colorful language,I felt a hand gently touch my shoulder.
"I think you will fit right in" konan smiled. I smiled awkwardly . This is it, this is my team.. Or had been, this is where I belong..? I looked down almost on the verge of tears. I'm officially an Akatsuki? Oh Ellie... I'm so sorry. I sighed
"Hey bitch play your card" I rolled my eyes "shut your trap ass wipe." I continued to play. These are my new comrades, fits with the new me.
