Chapter 12 : Future spartan.
It had nearly been a month since she and Jun first slept together and for the last few mornings she had been in her bathroom throwing up. She had these symptoms before, she knew what it was. Question was what would Jun say? There was a gentle knock at the door "Who is it?"she asked
"Its your mother."came the reply.
She smiled "Come in."she said.
Ever since her father found out her mother was alive she couldn't turn a corner with out seeing her parents making out. Which in turn caused her favorite past time 'Rape The Jun' hell come to think of it Jun didn't mind it either. In fact he quite enjoined it, which was odd. Then again who would get so hot and bothered by their parents to sexually attack their boyfriend? She couldn't think of anyone so she opened the door "Mom, come inside and close the door."she said.
She walked to her bed and sat down "Sweet heart, whats wrong?"asked her mother
"Mom, I'm pregnant and Jun's the father."she whispered.
Her mother touched her face "You two remind me of you father and I when we were your age. Jun loves you more than his own life and is willing to die for you. I know you lost your child prior to this one, but its time to relax the war is over for you after this."said her mother
"What if he don't want it?"she asked
"Then I will sick your father on him."said her mother.
She smiled and stood up "Mom, thanks."she said
"Well you have to get dressed lots to do today."said her mother.
She nodded and went to her armor, it was going to be another bad day for her father and a good day for Jun, if only she could get Kat to ware the same armor maybe Carter wouldn't have such a big stick up his ass.

Jun was cleaning his sniper rifle as Brittany walked in, something about her was different today he could tell. She had a glow about her that even wigs and the other ex-covenant that called this place home noticed. Her mother looked at him and mouthed "Talk to her." and he got up.
He followed her to the roof of the base where she sat looking out over the clear blue water of the ring world "Brittany?"he asked.
She turned her head and looked at him, she had a unsure look on her beautiful face "Brittany, are you alright?"he asked
"I'm fine Jun why?"she asked.
He smiled he loved it when she answered a question with another question "You look worried and you know that bugs the living hell out of me my love."he said.
She looked away from him "You may want to sit Jun I don't want you to fall and hurt yourself."she said.
He sat down and looked at her "Brittany?"he asked
"ONI told me when I lost Nat's baby I could never get pregnant again."she broke off
"Then we'll adopt."he said.
She looked at him with a shocked expression "Jun, They said I could NEVER get pregnant. When they told me I admit it hurt more than anything, but that was before I died."she said.
He looked at her "What are you trying to tell me baby?"he asked
"Jun, your going to be a father bless it be to the librarian she gave us the hope of a child and now we have one."she said.
He let her words sink in for a few moments before he began laughing "OH BABY I'M SO HAPPY."he said.
She looked at him shocked "You mean your not upset?"she asked
"Why would I be, Brittany I love you more than anything I would die to protect you. Of course I would be happy to find out that the one I have always loved carries my child."he said pulling her close.
She sobbed happily into his shoulder "I just have to worry about your father trying to kill me."he said in a joking manner
"I'll kick his jolly green ass."she growled.
He just laughed and kissed her forehead "Don't worry once your Spartan armor is repaired the shielding will protect our child."he said
"It didn't protect Nat's."she said.
He sighed "We'll think of something my love we always do."he said.

John 117 looked at his beloved Samantha "I was right John."said Samantha
"What do you mean?"he asked.
Samantha looked at him "Why John, you of all people should know. It wasn't all that long ago I was puking my guts out in front of you and we found out about Brittany."she said.
He smiled he was a little dim witted back then "How could I forget."he said
"Now its our little girls turn to be a mother."said Samantha.
His eyes crossed and he looked at Samantha "Our daughter is what?"he asked
"She is pregnant."said Samantha.
Oh he knew who the father was and he was going to beat his little tree frog ass. He stood up "John, what are you up to?" Samantha asked
"AVERY!"he bellowed
"Yes Master Chief?"asked his friend
"Get me my SMGs I have a Tree frog to go shoot."he said
"JOHN 117 YOU WILL DO NO SUCH THING."yelled Samantha.
The rest of his old team as well as NOBLE came into the room "What did Jun do now?"asked Emile
"Colonel I suggest you go and get your sniper before I kill him."he said
"Why is that Master Chief?"asked Carter
"JOHN ENOUGH!"bellowed Samantha
"That little shit knocked my daughter up and you tell me ENOUGH? Woman I am going to kick his ass."he said
"WHOA you mean to tell me the closet fag is going to be a daddy?"asked Emile.
Agent North Dakota stood in front of him "You will do no such think, that would have been me once if she or I would have known. Brittany's old medical files said after the miscarriage she could NEVER have a child."said North.
The Master Chief stood frozen to the spot, his daughter was not able to have a child of her own when she lost North's child? Samantha looked at him "The Forerunners work in mysterious ways my love. They brought me back to you didn't they? They gave Kat her arm that she lost, and gave our daughter the gift of children. John if our daughter is anything like me and I would have found out I couldn't have children then I could I would want to be alone with the father of my child."Samantha said.
She won yet again there was no woman he knew of that compared to her, she always knew what to say to calm him down. He sat down and looked at Avery "Never mind."he said
"The ole ball and chain beat ya again Chief?"asked Avery
"Avery."he said
"Yes, Master Chief?"asked Avery
"Shut the fuck up."was all he said.
Everyone in the room began to laugh.

Brittany leaned into the man that she loved as Wiggs came walking up "Is it true?"asked Wiggs
"Yes Wiggs I'm pregnant."she said.
Wiggs's eyes lit up like a kid at Yule time "I'm a big sister?"Wiggs asked
"Yes Wiggs."said Jun chuckling.
Wiggs curled up against them and she smiled. It had been a long time since they were like this. The last time was on Reach when she and Jun had been to afraid to admit their feelings towards the other. Now in the present she and Jun had each other, Wiggs, and now a little spartan growing in her womb. She looked up at Jun as he kissed her and broke the kiss "Brittany, how about after all this I do something that I should have done along time ago."he said
"And whats that?"she asked.
He smiled and pulled her closer "Marry me."he said.
Her heart skipped a beat, was Jun asking her to marry him? She closed her eyes and smiled "I will marry you Jun, but first we have a Jul' Madama issue to handle and then a Director Leonard Asshole Church problem to handle."she said.
Jun nodded "With them still alive they are a threat to the baby especially Church."he said.
She nodded as a Spirit came in low to drop off the scouting parties "Junior, did you find anything?"she asked
"Yes, Agent Georgia is at an abandoned facility not to far from here."said Junior.
She looked at Jun "Good I will get what we need done for our assault."she said.
Junior nodded and looked at her "Battle sister, you must remember not to let your anger get the best of you. Like you did last time you are more frightening than a female Jiralhanae over her young."said Junior
"NAW YA THINK I WAS PREGNANT THEN LIKE I AM NOW I LEARN FORM MY MISTAKES UNLIKE YOUR MOTHER."she said.
Junior laughed as Tucker gave her the finger "Your right mother doesn't learn the first time."said Junior.

He leaned against the wall as Junior and his scouts reported their findings to Brittany, from there she began to draw up the battle plans for the assault "Knowing Georgia he ten to one has defense turrets set up."said Texas
"He does, in this area all the way around. It looks like it will have to be a night op."Brittany said
"The longer we stay the longer her life is in danger."said Sigma
"I know old friend, but we have to do something."she said.
Maine nodded and looked at him he could feel Thom's eyes on him. He knew between himself and Thom or as he was now called Maine or META Brittany was as safe as one could hope. With a future spartan on the way he had to protect his future, her future, their future.
