A sweet young woman was walking past the Eiffel Tower as she did every day. She was on her way to work at a small corner cafe in Paris. She loved her job and the people there. She would even occasionally stop tourists to ask them about their homes. She was cheerful and emitted a soft warm glow of love and happiness wherever she went. At the end of the work day, she would walk through the brightly lit streets back to her small apartment. The woman couldn't be happier with her life. She was living her dream, even if it wasn't as extravagant as others.

This evening, she passed a man with extremely light blond hair that shined under the street lights. He watched her walk by, admiring her beauty. Her long brown hair fell to her shoulders in silky waves, complimenting her hazelnut brown eyes. He had to know who she was. Silently, he followed her. He was far to shy to actually speak to her, no matter how badly he wanted to. She sensed that he was following her and walked a bit faster. The man sped up, he just wanted to opportunity to at least learn her name.

"I don't know who you are, but if you don't stop following me, I will call the police!" She turned around and screamed. The man was shocked, he just stood, staring at her. He slowly reached out to her, taking a few steps forward. The woman backed away then turn and ran. He ran after her, though he wasn't sure why. She took a sharp turn into an alley and climbed the fire escape ladder. He was right on her heels, still reaching for her.

"Leave me alone!" She screamed. As soon as she reached the roof of the building, she sprinted away. The man still followed her. Now that the light from the streets were below them, they cast eerie shadows on their faces. The woman stood on the edge of the roof. "Please, what do you want from me. I don't have any money." She spoke softly, her voice shaking with fear. The man shook his head and took a few more steps towards her.

"N-no please... my body is my own. It is not a tool for your sexual amusement." She cried out, backing away from him still. She was running out of room. Her feet were on the very edge of the building. The man didn't stop walking, he opened his mouth to speak, but he couldn't find words to say to her. He wasn't sure how he could ease the situation any.

All he wanted to do was talk to her. He had seen her everyday for years. He would stand in the shadows and admire her beauty. Slowly, he had fallen in love with the young woman. He had dreamed of the day when he would finally get to speak to her. This was quickly turning into a nightmare, spiraling into hell. The man was only a few feet away from her now, It didn't take him long to see that her feet were barely on the roof. She was shaking with fear. Arms reached out towards her, trying to pull her back onto the roof, but in a panic, she tried to take another step back. Her foot slipped, and her body when falling towards the hard concrete sidewalk.

A loud crack rang through the streets. The man peered over the edge of the roof, terrified. Blood was splattered everywhere, still leaking from her corps. Her head was split open in the back where it had hit. The young woman's arms and legs were all bent at odd angles. Her lifeless brown eyes pierced the mans soul. He slowly pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. He desperately wanted to look away, but for some reason, he couldn't. Slowly, he climbed down the ladder and walked over to the lifeless pile of meat. He dug through her pockets and found her wallet. Gently, he pulled out her I.D and looked at her name. He read it out loud to himself a few times and smiled. Such a pretty name, for such a pretty woman.
