Renesmee POV

"Are we there yet?" Ej asked for the 100th time.

"EJ would you shut up!" Shane yelled, looking up from his book for the first time this whole trip.

Edward chuckled quietly, "guys calm down we'll be there soon"

We had been driving for about 6 hours when we came to a boarder patrol area. I had been so confused as to where we were till i looked out the window and saw the 'Canadian boarder sign'. We'd driven so far from home, i hope this trip was going to be worth it. The music played quietly in the background as Edward spoke to a patrol officer who gave him a node and he drove through the gates and into Canada.

"Edward?" He turned to me and smiled.

"Yes Renesmee?" I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

"Do you have facebook?" He chuckled and shook his head. Ej looked at him in disbelief.

"You have got to be kidding me? How do you expect people to think you're human if you don't have facebook?" Edward shrugged.

"Its not exactly ideal." I rolled my eyes.

"And why not? What 17 year old boy doesn't have Facebook?"

"A 17 year old boy who can't age and will forever look the same. The same reason why my family makes sure to not be photographed together in public" When he said it, it actually made sense. No wonder mom didn't have one.

"Your right, it does seem a bit dangerous" I felt a little bad now.

"Dont stress Renesmee, no harm. I might think about making one while were here" I gave him a bright smile. "Try to sleep, we won't arrive in Glace Bay for another 7 hours."

Now that he mentioned it, i was getting a bit tired. The sun was disappearing over the mountains and the darkness began to appear.

Edward smiled at me and held out his hand. I looked around at my surroundings, i was in the middle of the forest. I could hear a stream nearby and rustling of the trees around me. "Come Renesmee, its time to go home"

I gave him a smile and placed my hand in his. He pulled me through the forest until i could see a small cottage up ahead. I didn't understand where i was. As we came closer to the cottage the rough forest floor turned into a small path that lead up to the oak wood door, hanging lanterns lined the path up to the fairy tale style cottage. Edward let out a chuckle. Obviously laughing at someones thoughts, "Your mother is quite cranky that we didn't invite her on our adventure today"

My mom?

He pushed open the door and there she was, standing in the kitchen. She turned her head slightly and gave me a grin, "Im making your favourite for dinner love" She placed a homemade pie on the breakfast bar and put a glass on milk aside it. I noticed that there was only one plate.

"Where are the others? Are they not joining us?" I asked sitting down at the table. I watched as Edward wrapped his arm around my mom and kissed her temple. What the hell? My mom laughed and leaned forward on the table.

"Unless you want Your grandparents and your aunts and uncles to come and eat with you then theres no one else" Edward let out a lough laugh as mom continued, "And you know Jacob is back at the reservation helping"

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Who the hell is Jacob and no i meant my siblings mom. Where is EJ, Shane and Caitlin?"

They looked at each other then back to me before mom moved her icy hand to my forehead, "Are you alright honey?"

"Why wouldn't i be alright? I just want to know where my brothers and my sister is" They shared a look again, i was so confused. Where were my siblings? Where was i?

"Renesmee, darling, you don't have any siblings" Edward said, placing his hand on top of my own. Mom looked at me in concern.

"Ha ha very funny Edward, Cut it out and tell me where they are" Mom clicked her tongue and gave me a light smack on the hand.

"Renesmee don't speak to your father like that" I just stared at her and Edward. Not knowing how to respond. What was going on.

"Renesmee are you alright?" Edward whispered to me, i didn't respond. I could only stare at him.

"Renesmee?"

"Renesmee.."

"Renesmee wake up"

My eyes shot open and Edward was staring at me in concern. "Renesmee, were here, are you alright?"

What in the hell was that dream. "Renesmee?" he repeated.

"Im fine, i just had the weirdest dream I've ever had in my life. Like it was just insane" I noticed EJ and shane standing outside the car looking at me.

EJ nodded, "I saw the whole thing, it was pretty whack" I sat up in the leather seat and rubbed my stinging eyes. "You know they say when you have dreams like that, its you in an alternate universe"

I rolled my eyes and changed the subject, i didn't want to think about that dream anymore, "Did we make a pitstop?"

"You slept the whole time, we're here" I took notice that we were in a Hotel parking lot. I looked at the luminescent sight near the entrance, Holiday Inn Sydney.

I looked up to Edward, "I thought you said we were going to Glace Bay"

He nodded, "Glace Bay is the hospital your father works at, Sydney had the closest accommodation"

I brought up a map on my phone and typed in Glace Bay Hospital. It was only 20 minutes away. I wanted to cry, we were so close to finding him.

I got out of the car and stretched my legs, the hotel was a pretty big building, nothing special but. Edward retrieved our bags from the boot and announced to us that he was going to check us all in. He'd decided to book himself a separate room to give us some privacy. I felt bad that we had dragged Edward along and he was paying for the whole thing. His family may be very wealthy but that didn't make me feel any better about him paying.

The interior to the hotel was a little out dated but it didn't really matter, we weren't staying here for very long. A lady from reception walked us to our rooms and made sure to let Edward know just how available and willing to help she was.

I had to admit it the room was pretty big, two double beds and two singles, A small desk, a flat screen tv, an ensuite with quite a large shower and a balcony with the view of the Sydney river.

"Dibs the double!" EJ and I screamed at the same time. "No way I said it first!" We screamed again. We shoved each other back and forth before making a run to the bed closest to the balcony. I pushed him over the side of the single bed and jumped on the double, plopping down and scuffling myself under the sheets and pulling them up to my eyes.

"You suck" I heard him mumble from the floor. I giggled and poked my head out of the sheets. Edward was standing at the edge of the bed grinning at me. I raised my eyebrows and flailed my legs around, kicking off the sheets.

"What?" I asked him curiously. He just kept on grinning, then shook his head slowly and looked away shyly.

"Nothing." He answered sitting on the edge of my bed. His phone rang suddenly and he held up a finger as if he was telling us to wait and walked outside the door.

"Hey EJ?" I asked turning my head and seeing his legs sticking up from the ground.

"Yeah?" He replied sitting up and jumping up on the double bed opposite mine.

"What was Edward thinking just before?"

He thought back for a moment and answered, "He was thinking 'I can't keep this on any longer', he just kept on saying it over and over"

"What does that mean,' I can't keep this on any longer?'" He shrugged and sat back against the headboard.

"Maybe we'll find out soon?" Shane said coming from the bathroom,"I mean if he said that he can't take it any longer, he might spill what he's hiding"

I nodded and turned on my side. When were we going to leave to find my dad?

Edward POV

I held up the phone to my ear and shut the door, walking down the hallway a bit to make sure the kids didn't hear me.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Edward" The voice on the other end was heaven to my ears.

"Bella, I was just about to contact you. We just arrived"

"Yeah I'm fine just calling to see how you are, and besides-"I heard her giggle on the other end,"-Your daughter misses you Edward."

I felt my heart swell, my daughter. "Does she really?"

"Yeah she does, she wont stop asking if your okay, and-"She paused obviously backing away from the phone. "- She wants to talk to you Edward."

I smiled and leaned against the wall, "Can I talk to her?"

The phone made a rustling sound, Bella was handing her the phone. Then I heard her beautiful voice. "Daddy?"

I smiled into the phone, "Hello love, How are you?"

I heard her sniffle, "Im awful! Daddy I miss you, I just got you back, I want you to come home"

If i was human i would have had tears steaming down my face. This is what happiness is. "Darling I miss you too, I won't be gone long, Im just helping your brothers and your sister for a couple of days and ill be home"

"Momma misses you too you know." She whispered as if she didn't want Bella to hear.

"Well I miss her too, almost as much as i miss you princess" She giggled and i could hear her muffled talking on the other end, her mother was telling her to return the phone, "No momma i want to keep talking"

Her muffled 'humpf' told me that she had lost that argument. I couldn't help but let out a chuckle.

"Momma wants to talk to you again," She sounded sad.

"Okay darling, I'll make sure to call you tomorrow" I took a deep breath, even though i didn't need it and whispered my last words, almost as if i was afraid to say them, that id be rejected by a young girl "I love you,"

"I love you too Daddy" My worries were unneeded. I felt a flutter in my dead heart. The phone rustled again and then my angel was back on the phone.

"Edward, keep them safe, I don't know what id do if anything were to happen to them" I almost felt insulted that she thought id ever put my children in danger, but i understood her worries. In their entire 13 years of life they had never left her side and were now in another country by themselves. Well with their father but they were unaware of that fact.

"I will Bella, I promise"

"Okay, then I'll talk to you tomorrow" Just as I was about to hang up she said. "Oh and Edward?"

I chuckled, "Yes Bella?"

"Ritornate a me presto il mio compagno" She whispered and then hung up. I felt like my chest was going to explode, i could have danced around in happiness. Her fluent Italian translated to, Return to me soon my mate. That had been the first time id ever heard those words exit her mouth. Her mate. Those words sparked a fire within me, threatening to bring out a true beast that lurked deep inside me. I willed myself to calm down and shoved my phone back into my pocket.

"As quick as i can my love" I said to my self before walking back to my children.

Another chapter done! I removed a lot of content in this chapter and replaced it, as it felt like it fit in better with the story. I hope everyone is enjoying so far, be sure to review! xxx
