Hi Hi! So yeah, sorry for not posting sooner... life got in the way. I'm back and here to stay, as well as done with google+. So without further ado, welcome the first part of the ending of The Beautiful Girl Without Mercy.

'That voice... I'd know it anywhere!'
Kagome slowly turns around to see Taro sneering down at her, his hair greasy and matted.
"Taro! What the crap are you doing keeping me locked up here?! Are you trying to kill me?!"
"Hmm, you catch on quite well Princess, for being such an idiot..." Taro looks at Kagome with disdain. "I hated having to put up with your great grandmother, but to have so suffer through you too? Ha! I'm done with this life of servitude. The Yamishikari power will soon be mine, and you will be a pile of ash. I'll even let that pathetic excuse for a demon and his hanyou brother watch as I burn you. This is all so thrilling, don't you think Miyumi?"
Kagome's eyes widen at seeing the bruised and bloody form of her friend and teacher Miyumi crumple to the floor in chains.
"Miyumi!" Kagome screams as he grunts in pain.
"Not my best landing ever..." he mutters to himself, then looks at Kagome. "I'm glad to see that the princess has not been hurt yet."
"Oh shut up, Miyumi! You're such a coward who caters to the every whim of this idiotic priestess." Taro practically spits the words at Miyumi. "Now lets go see what my friend, the pendulum, has to offer to for the Princess today hmm?" (a/n: don't judge my choice of The Pit and the Pendulum. That happens to be one of my favorite Poe stories ever written. No judging. We all have those weird obsessions, mine just happens to be Poe... don't give me those looks)
Taro drags Miyumi to his feet and motions for someone to take Kagome's arm. A strong and burly man enters the room and roughly yanks on Kagome.
"hey! Watch it, that hurts man!" She protests as she is dragged to another room at the end of the corridor. Muscle Man, as Kagome named him, yanks her next to a stone table. He picks her up and lies her on it, strapping her in tightly.
"As you can see, you can't run anywhere here." Taro smirks again, and turns toward a lever that she didn't see when she was dragged into this room. He pulls it back with a grunt, anfd metal gears start to whirl above her. She looks up to see a large and sharpened metal pendulum swinging toward her with indredible speed. She tries to cringe into the table, but can't.
The pendulum misses
"Ah. It's starting. Every time that pendulum moves, it inches closer to your stomach. Soon, it will hit your skin and slice through easily. Like a knife in warm butter. Have fun with the pendulum! Miyumi? You should stay and watch your precious princess die. I'll be watching somewhere close by."
Taro stalks away, leaving both Kagome and Miyumi there.
"any chance you could get me out Miyumi?" Kagome asks weakly.
"No, I'm tied to the wall here. I wish I could help you though..." Miyumi sighs loudly.
"Kagome looks up and sees the Pendulum swish down again.
Miss
She closes her eyes and starts silently praying to Kami.
Swish... miss
One inch closer than before...
Swish... miss
Tears well up in Kagome's eyes as she waits for her death. "Sesshomaru! Inuyasha! Where are you?!" she whispers quietly.
Swish... rip
Her eyes pop open and she looks down to see that her kimono has been torn above her belly. She sucks it in
Swish... scream
The blade slices through her skin. "Miyumi! By Kami, please help me!" Her power swirls around her small form as she waits for the pendulum to strike again.
Swish... clang!
Kagome looks up to see Miyumi holding a large metal rod in his chained hands.
"I. Will. Not. Let. You. Kill. The. Princess!" He shoves against the blade, making it move backwards and hit the wall with such force that it sticks.
"You know, there is a lever..." Kagome whispered hoarsely.
Kagome slowly and quietly picks herself up and inches away, feeling bad about leaving Miyumi behind. She looks down at her dirt caked fingernails, stopping to see what Taro will do.
Miyumi spots her looking and with a slight shake of his head, motions for her to leave. She nods and starts moving again, tears sliding down her cheeks. As she reaches the door at the end of the room, a large crack emits from a whip that has materialized in the hands of Taro. He repeatedly beats Miyumi with it, Miyumi not even uttering a cry of pain.
Kagome races back to Miyumi just as Taro raises his whip against the poor man. Her power starts to flood through her blood, as she races even faster to try and heal Miyumi's wounds like he taught her to do.
Taro looks up and smiles. "I knew she would come to your rescue. You or that lame excuse for a hanyou. Even the half brother is weak in my eyes, and they are the sons of the Great Dog Demon. Please! I know that they could never match up to their father." He turns around and flings a small dagger into Kagome's heart.
It hits with a resounding thud. Kagome gasps and looks down at the already bloody area of her chest. Looking up she says, "Don't ever talk that way about Sesshomaru! He is one of the greatest demons out there! And Inuyasha is stronger tha-!" She coughs and stutters.
"Kagome! Don't overexert yourself!" Miyumi yells at her.
"Thanks Miyumi... you... were... such a... great... friend..." She smiles and falls to the ground.
"Happy now? You just killed off one of the nicest people left in the Futile Era..." Miyumi loosens his bonds and stands up slowly.
"It's what we had to do. She would have chosen to be a demon with that Sesshomaru. and we couldn't let that happen now could we Miyumi? She was supposed to have been sacrificed anyway to preserve the peace, she just would have needed a human child to be able to seal the pact. I think it will now go back to her mother after we burn her in front of the hanyou and taiyokai." Taro pats the back of Miyumi, and walks over, picking up the dead and limp body of Kagome. "Lets go Miyumi. Time is not in our favor today."

Inuyasha paces the field, wondering where Kagome was taken, while Seshomaru was sitting in a tree brooding over the fact that he couldn't track her scent because it was masked by the smell of the dead.
They both hear a rustling and turn to see Kagome's limp body with an intricately carved hand of a dagger sticking from her bloody shirt.
"Damn! Damn it all to hell! I couldn't even save her?!" Inuyasha races forward, but is caught just in time by his brother.
"I would not cross past this point half-brother..." Sesshomaru mutters under his breath.
"Why the hell not?! Kagome's over there dead, and I want to help her!"
"Think about it... if Kagome is dead, how did her body get here?"
"You're smarter than I gave you credit for Sesshomaru. Kagome believed in you to be smart." A sickening voice says in the shadows, dripping with venomous intent.
Taro steps forward, an evil grin plastered to his face.
"You know, Kagome was dead set on loving you Sesshomaru. She knew that she couldn't have Inuyasha because of the dead miko. But, you? You were everything she wanted. She was even ready to turn herself into a demon with her power, just to be noticed by you. Tragic really. She was so close to becoming what we had hoped for, isn't that Miyumi?"
Miyumi steps forward, a sad expression on his face. "Yes, sir."
Sesshomaru steps back, shocked to the core. 'She was in love with me? But she never showed it...' he looks over at his half-brother, Inuyasha. he also has a stricken look to his face.
"Ah, I figured that none of you knew this. That was the one thing Kagome had that was promising. The ability to fall in love so fast, and hide every tiny secret. I'm surprised it took her this long to figure it out for herself." Taro walks forward with a match held in his hand. "Now to begin the ceremony of death for the Yamishikari Princess!"
A giant barrier surrounds them, as well as encasing both Sesshomaru and Inuyasha in a non-breakable barrier of their own. Taro raises his hand above the hilt of the dagger, and yanks it out. A final scream emits from the dead body. "Yes, this dagger preserved her soul in this body. She actually survived longer than most would. Her soul is unnaturally large. Now on to the burning of the Princesses body."
Inuyasha pulls out Tetsusaiga, and repeatedly beats at the encasing barrier of their's, but to no avail.
"Stop trying to break the barrier. As you can see it's not working."
"Well what the hell am I supposed to do? Damn it all to hell!"Inuyasha cries.
"Hn."
"And what about you? The guy she's in love with! For one thing, how the hell are you going to react to that when she comes back to life!"
Sesshomaru whips around to face the hanyou. "She is dead! How am I going to react if she ever returns to the living world! I didn't even know she liked me, let alone loved me!"
"Well then we'll just have to see if what that bastard with Kagome said was true, and to do that we need to break out!" Inuyasha attacked the barrier with renewed force.
'He'll never learn...' Sesshomaru shakes his head. "Stand back you idiot. Maybe since a spirit conjured up this barrier, Tensaega will cut through it. Ever thought of that? It is the sword of Heaven after all." Sesshomaru stands and rests his hand on his father's fang. He flicks the sword out with his thumb, producing a metallic click. Drawing out the sword he does a graceful uppercut, and slashes neatly through the barrier.
"You're such a show off, you cocky ass, bastard." Inuyasha mutters underneath his breath, loud enough for Sesshomaru only to hear.
"Hn."
"Oh, not talking now are we? Fine by me." Inuyasha quirks an eyebrow, and races towards the trio on the middle. Sesshomaru sighs and hurries after him.
When they reach Miyumi and the other one (a/n: Inuyasha and Sesshomaru don't know Taro's name yet. Just Miyumi's. Epic so far? Take the time to PM me and I'll see if I can write a fanfic just for your favorite pairing. I can do whatever you want and see if I meet your expectations. Love ya'll to death!), they can already hear the other one chanting under his breath. Miyumi wasn't looking at Kagome. Sesshomaru slips behind the other one, who clearly appears to be the leader of the two. As he does so, the leader stops chanting and turns to Miyumi.
"Light her please."
"N-no, I can't do this to the poor girl. She was really nice to me, and I don't want to hurt her..."
"you will do as I say Miyumi, or else you will be joining your princess."
'Idiot... he doesn't even realize I'm behind him.' Sesshomaru thinks to himself, as he watches Inuyasha out of the corner of his golden eye. The idiot was about to charge the circle head first as usual.
Miyumi catches glimpse of Inuyasha and turns to warn Taro, spotting Sesshomaru. He then quickly turns a blind eye, and doesn't mention anything.
"MIYUMI! NOW! BURN THE GIRL'S BODY!"
So yeah, I had to split the last chapter up. I can't write over 100,000 words in one session without dying. I have to section this beauty up.
