Well... looks like I have time to write this after all. Short but I hope it it'll satisfy your thirst for chapters. Watch out, people. There's a reason I rated this for T.

Rose ran. She wasn't really seeing where she was going, just letting her legs guide her. She was feeling so many emotions all at once that they jumbled all together. Finally, Rose came to a stop at an alley. Quiet. Empty. Perhaps it was the more quieter section of the area, as there were lesser crowds around.

She leaned against the wall, panting. Truth be told, Rose didn't know why she ran away in the first place. Maybe it was just as she said to Adam, that she needed time to think. Sliding down the wall, she muttered to herself, "When did my life get so complicated? As far as I know, it has always been nice and peaceful."

Even now, sarcasm was dripping in her sentence. It was never peaceful, not with Melanie around. Rose never liked that bitch, especially after that... That time. What Melanie had done to her had scarred her permanently. It almost made her wish that she was never sent to that orphanage. But then again, she would've never met her best friends. Though that was one of the only plus from living there, it was enough.

Almost like a sick and twisted wish coming true, or Fate never liked her at all, a voice called out, "Ah, found you, little flower."

That voice was so familiar, Rose hated it. Her fear had just increased big time. Adding the pieces together, she knew what was coming. Melanie was going to do it again, and Rose had a feeling it might go much, much worse than last time.

Immediately, she tried hiding in the shadows and she took out her phone, feeling relieved for once, well twice, that day. She tapped furiously, then pressed the call. One ring passed. Then another. C'mon, Jasmine. Pick up the bloody phone! Her prayers was answered when she heard the phone picked up. Rose whispered, trying desperately to be quiet. Melanie appeared to be taking her sweet time, possibly calling her demented friends as well. But she didn't care, "H-help me-"

Without warning, Rose felt pain flared at her stomach. She clutched it, making her dropped the phone at the same time. Melanie stood before her, looking down and smirking. She dragged Rose's phone away from the owner, then proceeded to stomp her high heels onto the phone, ending its life almost immediately.

"Oh my," Melanie gasped mockingly, "Did I accidentally crush that phone? Oops."

Rose felt a twinge of anger. That phone had been with her for years. She sighed, trying to play it off casually, "Why did you do that? Don't you know that phone, that particular phone might have feeling, not at all like you."

Melanie chuckled, "Girl, you really don't know the danger you're in."

Rose glared up at her, putting all the venom into the glare. Oh I know very well, you fucker. Rose smiled mentally at how true that thought was. Melanie looked out at the entrance of the alley, "Well, no matter. My friends are going to be here soon, so we are going to have some fun."

Rose snorted, trying to stall her from 'getting some fun', "Yeah? OK then, let me ask you this. Why do you even want to do this, huh? I didn't even win the competition! What can you possibly gain from doing this?"

In response was another kick, this time harder and to the chest. Rose grunted, dropping back into the position she was in when she received her stomach kick. Melanie snarled, her dark hair swished back and forth. She knelt down at the crumbling body, pinching the cheek, "Tch, tch.. Poor Rose. You need realize that it's never about the competition. Please! That's just an excuse!"

Melanie removed the glasses and tossed it on the opposite wall. Rose blinked, trying to get a focus on Melanie. The bully smiled and patted Rose's cheek, "But you know, maybe it is about that, just a little bit. However, I think you know the main reason I'm doing this."

Like puzzle pieces, she joined the pieces and it clicked in her mind. Rose struggled to see through the blurriness of her vision and focused on the blob of colours that is Melanie, " Really? You do this because of that?"

Melanie chuckled darkly, " You, of all people, should know that insulting me or my family can have deadly consequences. After all, you experienced it first hand what happened."

The bully felt pure satisfaction at the grimaces Rose showed. Voices echoed in the alley and Melanie looked out at the entrance of the alley, " Well, look who decides to show up for the party."

" We can't simply passed up the opportunity." One of the guys responded. The other guy smirked, wanting to get into business, " So, the same one?"

"Eager now, aren't we." Melanie said as they approached her, " Unfortunately, no. But I'll let you decide."

Rose glared weakly at them. She couldn't even tell whose speaking, she had to rely on her hearing. One of the guys, the first one, whistled, "She looks hot. But why beat her up?"

Melanie shrugged, "She needed a lesson. Give her a lot of love, boys. Lots and lots of love. We're gonna give you some room, I've got things to do. Bye!"

With that, she left. Or they. Rose heard multiple footsteps, but that didn't matter. All that matters was that she was deep in the pit of trouble. She could only clutched on that very false hope that she stopped believing.

My imagination is twisted, we all know that now. Hmm... Oh! Who do you think I should pair Rose with? I've somehow made a Jasmine/Jason accidentally. I wasn't even thinking that time. Meh..
