Rubi stood in front of the cracking barrier, holding her wand up high. With each deafening crash the cracks grew wider and the barrier would ultimately break. She had already sent a crow to warn the others, hopefully they will get here before the barrier breaks. Then with one final crash, the cracks spiderweb throughout the whole barrier. It looked like the sky itself had been cracked open. There was silence for a moment, then a huge explosion happened right in front of her. Rubi flew back a ways to avoid the debris. She could feel an enormous aura flood the area. She could see a figure just as enormous standing in front of her, with another on it shoulder. The barrier was destroyed and piece by piece began falling from the sky, disintegrating before they hit the ground. Their base...no, their home was being threatened and Rubi was fiercely determined to protect it.

"You know, when someone knocks on the front door, it's usually polite to answer it" Angel said sitting on top of Apocalypse's shoulders.

"Dammit Akuha! You are going to die if you give her anymore blood!" Kokoa yelled forcefully pushing Akuha away, something Kokoa would have never done normally considering she was deathly afraid of Akuha.

"What do you think you are doing!? I have to..." Akuha said angrily but collapsed from fatigue because of the blood lose.

"Shut up already! You're not the only sister that cares about her!" Kokoa yelled, making Akuha mutter angrily under her breath.

Kokoa then put her arm in front of Ura and Ura's instincts kicked in. The life in the blood flowed through Ura and and filled the emptiness that she had. She could feel it giving her mind, body and soul energy to rebuild itself. Slowly, Ura was trying to rebuild herself.

In the other room Omote was huddled in a tight ball trying to suppress the pain. It was gradually getting worse and worse. Her body was shaking in pain, thousands of images were flooding through her head and she felt like she was slipping away from reality.

"She's burning up!" Mizore said holding her tightly to cool her down.

"Where the hell is everyone else at!" Kurumu yelled wondering what the hell was going on.

"Go get Akasha or Akuha! I don't think she is going to last much longer!" Mizore said frantically.

"Ok! I'll be right back!" Kurumu said and rushed out of the room.

Kurumu ran through the building checking all the rooms. She threw open Gin and Sun's room and only paused for a second to see the indecent things they were doing.

"Nows not the time for that!" Kurumu yelled and slammed the door leaving them confused.

"Where the hell is Akasha and Akuha!" Kurumu yelled running through the building.

"There you are!" Kurumu said finally running into where Akuha, Ura and Kokoa were.

"Quick! Omote needs help, she isn't going to last much longer!" Kurumu yelled frantically.

"Dammit..." Akuha muttered struggling to stand up, but only collapsed again.

"Blood! She needs blood!" Kokoa told her, and Kurumu rushed to grab some out of the fridge.

"No, that won't work, she needs fresh blood!" Kokoa said quickly.

"You mean..." Kurumu said seeing how Ura was drinking blood from Kokoa.

"Dammit!" Kurumu said running back to Omote and throwing the blood pack at Akuha.

Akuha continued to muttered angrily but bit into the blood pack anyway. Kurumu rushed back to where Omote and Mizore where.

"Where's Akasha and Akuha!?" Mizore asked worriedly.

"It's just us. Quickly she needs blood!" Kurumu said panicking.

"Well where's the blood packs!?" Mizore said also starting to panic.

"No, she needs fresh blood!" Kurumu said quickly.

"Well. Tsukune's..." Mizore started to say.

"I know!" Kurumu said rolling up her sleeve.

"You mean you are going to give her your blood?" Mizore asked in surprise.

"We don't have any other choice" Kurumu said putting her arm in front of Omote.

"Here, drink my blood" Kurumu told Omote.

Omote hesitantly bit down on Kurumu's arm, but once she tasted the blood all of her instincts kicked in and she couldn't stop drinking.

"She's stopped trembling" Mizore said still holding Moka.

"Good" letting out a deep sigh.

Akasha was on her way to Ura when Rubi's crow intercepted her. The barrier was breaking and something big was coming this way. Akasha sent Kahlua to help Rubi and prayed that Akuha and the others would take care of Ura and Omote. Akasha rushed down to the basement where the power source for the barrier was being kept. As she got closer she could feel the power surging and if it was destroyed hey would be left vulnerable until they could fix it or find a new power source. When she got to the basement she tried repairing the barrier but it was too far damage. The only thing she could do was to disconnect the power source from the barrier.

Electricity sparked through the air as she pulled out the red gem they were using for their power source. Akasha winced painfully as she was being burned by the electricity. Without its power source the barrier turned brittle and began to fall apart. Once everything was back to normal, Akasha would be able to remake the barrier.

Rubi was barely standing her own against the two intruders. There wasn't much she could do but keep her distance. All of her long range attacks barely had any effect or were swatted out of the air by Angel. Rubi had blood dripping down her left arm. She barely managed to dodge an attack from the huge abomination, it's was incredibly fast for its size.

Rubi summoned up hordes of plants and hundreds of vines wrapped itself around Apocalypse to try and slow him down. It seemed to be working and she was going to try and pierce it's thick armor before it could escape. Then in an instant, Apocalypse tore through the vines like they nothing. This time Rubi was to close to dodge and would not be able to survive a direct hit.

For a moment it was like time seemed to have slowed down and a thousand thoughts passed through her head, mostly of Tsukune. As time was passing ever slowly, something flew past her in a blur, followed by a loud explosion. Apocalypse was stopped dead in its tracks and was blown back several meters. Standing in front of Rubi now, was Kahlua with her fist outstretched and cold determination in her eyes. Kahlua had saved Rubi just in time. Rubi still couldn't believe how strong that vampire was and was glad she was on their side now.

"I've never seen anyone knock back the big guy before. You must be quite the vampire" Angel said grinning at the two of them.

"Rubi, if you can take care of that guy, I'll handle the big one" Kahlua said surprising Rubi with her seriousness.

"Right" Rubi said flying up high.

"I hope you're a better fighter than that weakling I cut up the other day" Angel said mockingly.

"I guess we will find out" Rubi said threateningly.

Angel flew at her at remarkable speeds but Rubi was ready. She spun to the left dodging his attack and simultaneously summoning a flock of crows. Angel cut through the crows and pursed Rubi higher up in the air. They clashed back and fourth like two birds of prey, testing each other's skills and abilities.

On the ground Kahlua was fighting Apocalypse in a pure test of strength. Kahlua had the upper hand, being a harder target to hit, but she just was not able to do enough damage to him. Every time Apocalypse swung he left massive craters in the ground. Kahlua spent more time dodging the debris than she did dodging him. Kahlua was jumping from building to building as Apocalypse destroyed them.

Kahlua took a step back to analyze her opponent. Apocalypse never said anything but Kahlua could sense intelligence behind the mask. Apocalypse rushed her bringing the massive drill-like hand down on Kahlua. Kahlua dodged it and stepped into his guard and with a well placed kick pushed the massive monster back. Before he could regain his balance Kahlua pounced on him. Just before Kahlua could bring her foot down on top of his head Apocalypse swatted her out of the sky, sending her flying into a nearby building.

"I hope you've had a big breakfast, because you're next" Kurumu told Mizore, almost at her limit.

Mizore looked down skeptically. Giving her blood to Omote wasn't something she had considered before, but Omote was in danger and she needed it. Mizore took a deep breath to ready herself and rolled up her sleeve.

"Ok, I'm ready" Mizore said willing to help her friend no matter the cost.

Kurumu pulled away from Omote and Mizore placed her arm in front of Omote and she immediately bit into her vein. She winced at first but relaxed after a moment. Kurumu was barely able to move having lost so much blood.

"Just be careful you don't give her too much blood" Kurumu warned Mizore.

"She is drinking so much" Mizore said slightly startled.

"I just hope this won't become a regular thing" Kurumu said weakly.

"Ya, I don't see how Tsukune can give her blood almost everyday" Mizore said already starting to feel weak.

"I hope the others are okay" Kurumu said staring out of the window.

"Ya, I can hear them fighting all the way over here" Mizore said worryingly.

No matter how many time Kahlua struck the massive monster, Apocalypse kept fighting back. Kahlua was not even wearing it down, the massive thing had incredible durability. Even striking it in vital spots had no affect and it's armor was to thick and sturdy to cut through. All Kahlua could do was keep pounding on it hoping the armor or the monster would break.

Rubi was still in a mid-air fight with Angel. It was a pretty even battle so far, it was mostly Rubi's abilities versus Angel's skills. Thankfully Rubi had been training frequently or she might not have been able to fight someone so fast and agile. Just as Angel swooped in to slice Rubi in half, crows intercepted him and explode right in front of him. Rubi tried to slice him up with her wings but he would simply dodge to the side. It was a never ending battle between the two. The only difference was that Angel was slowly getting faster and more skillful. He was grinning like mad and Rubi was having a hard time keeping up with him.

Rubi could tell he was a fighting maniac, who truly enjoyed the life and death struggle. Angel was becoming more and more reckless and unpredictable. Then in one mistake Angel got past her guard slicing her across the shoulder. Rubi fell from the sky, summoning crows to protect her. The crows splashed into the ground leaving Rubi standing there holding her injured shoulder. Angel landed in front of her, blood still dripping from his claw.

"It's been a while since I've fought another bird of prey" Angel said referring to their aerial battle.

"What is it that you guys want" Rubi asked him.

"This! This exhilarating feeling I get fighting to the death!" Angel said as he charge at Rubi again, who summoned a multitude of vines to defend herself.

Angel cut through the vines and dodged past Rubi's razor sharp wings. Rubi was struggling even harder to avoid his attacks. The way things were progressing Rubi was not going to be able to last much longer. There wasn't any options left, so Rubi took a calculated risk. She took the offensive, charging towards Angel. Without even trying to dodge his attack, Rubi suffered deep cuts across her chest, but now she was close enough that Angel would be unable to dodge. Three of her wings pierced his body from his torso up to his shoulder. Angel coughed up blood and genuinely looked surprised.

"Haha, it seems like I underestimated you" Angel said grinning.

Just before Rubi could finish him off the massive abomination Apocalypse was towing above Rubi. She managed to dodge his attack but was blown back from the explosion. Apocalypse stood over Angel defensively. Rubi struggled to sit up, losing a lot of blood every second. Kahlua was soon by her side.

"It looks like you guys could use some help" Gin said as him and Sun came up beside them.

"It's about time" Rubi said angrily.

Not to far away, Rubi was surprised to see Angel struggling to stand up. Rubi was sure he shouldn't be able to stand at all. Angel spread out his wings and flew up onto Apocalypse's shoulder. Now the two were going to fight as one. Sun spread out her wings ready to take them on. Gin unbuttoned his sleeves and rolled them up never taking his eyes off of the enemy. Just as the two side were about to clash in battle once more, a bright white figure appeared in between them followed by a massive wall of ice that erupted from the ground. Both sides stopped to look at the snow woman in all white standing in between them.

"You two, are in so much trouble" the snow fairy said looking at Angel and Apocalypse.

Angel, rolled his eyes in annoyance at the newcomer. She walked up to them, and Rubi and the others rightly assumed she was their backup.

"You guys haven't been checking in and are ignoring orders" she said getting a closer look at their wounds.

"I don't care about that or what that self-important pig says" Angel told her.

"Well he sent me to find you and bring you back. Now I'm hoping we can do this the easy way" she said nicely, but the cold threatening expression got through to them.

"Fine" Agel said considering he was in no shape to argue with her.

"Hey! We're not done with you guys!" Gin yelled at them.

Faster than most could react, the snow woman snapped her arm sending a deadly icicle towards Gin's head. Gin caught it out of the air, never taking his eyes off of the snow woman.

"Oh, we will see each other again soon" the snow woman said giving him a wink and then the three of them left.

Just as they got out of sight. Sun stepped roughly on Gin's foot.

"Ow! What was that for!?" Gin yelled in surprise.

"What was that all about?" Sun asked jealously.

"What!?" Gin said defensively.

"You wouldn't stop staring at her!" Sun said angrily.

"W-what!? I'm trying to act all cool and macho and you think I'm staring at other women!? I mean, did you not see me catch that icicle out of the air like that?" Gin said in disbelief as Sun huffed and stormed off.

Kahlua started bandaging up Rubi and a moment later the barrier was reactivated. Rubi let out a sigh, allowing herself to finally relax.

"We should get back, I think something went wrong with the others" Kahlua said seriously, causing Rubi to worry.

"I don't think I can go much longer" Mizore told Kurumu.

Only a moment later did Omote finally let go of Mizore's arm. Mizore sighed in relief and collapsed back next to Kurumu. Omote looked around trying to understand what had happened. Suddenly she bolted off the bed and ran out of the room.

"You're welcome!" Kurumu yelled after her rolling her eyes.

Omote ran through the house until she found Ura. She was still curled up in a ball, in immense pain and agony. Kokoa and Akuha were sitting next to her unable to do anything. They had both given her all the blood they could and she was still in agony.

"Ura!" Omote yelled collapsing to her knees right next to her.

"What's happenings!?" Omote asked the others.

"I don't know!" Kokoa said fearfully.

"She wasn't able to fill the void after the two of you were separated" Akuha said simply, slightly shaking from fear of losing her sister.

"We have to do something! We can't let her die!" Omote said frantically.

"The only way would be to remove the rosaries and have you two be joined together once again" Akuha told her truthfully.

"What are we waiting for then!" Omote said ready to pull the onyx rosary off.

"With the strain we have put on you two, if you became whole again...you could disappear within months or even days" Akuha told her.

"Fine! I can't let her die!" Omote said reaching up to pull the rosary off.

"Don't you dare!" Ura said suddenly grabbing Omote's arm to stop her.

"Ura!" Omote said holding her.

"Don't you dare, I would never forgive you" Ura told her through the pain.

Akuha, Kokoa and Omote didn't know what to do. Blood was no longer working and Akuha had never dealt with anything like this before. All they could do was be there for her.

A few moments later Akasha showed up, quickly assessing the situation. Nobody said anything as they made room for her to get to Ura. Akasha placed a hand on Ura's forehead.

"It's okay, she is going to be fine" Akasha told them placing the tips of her fingers on the sides of Ura's head.

"What are you doing?" Akuha asked suddenly alarmed.

"I'm going to put her in a deep sleep" Akasha told her.

"If you do that she might never wake up!" Akuha said angrily.

"We don't have any choice, her body is going to tear itself apart" Akasha told her putting Ura in a deep sleep.

A few moments later, Ura stopped shaking and her breathing began to slow down into deep long breathes instead of short and ragged. Her body temperature began to cool down and finally Ura was able to rest...at least her body was able to.

I hope you guys liked this chapter. It is pretty action packed and I didn't have much room for romance or comedy. The two main focuses were the bad guys and Ura and Omote. It's just bad timing everything started happening all at once haha.

Anyway, thanks for reading and please leave a review.
