Okay! Okay! So it's been a while. I realize this and won't bore you with excuses. I'm gonna try and set like a two week limit so it won't be...well it's almost been a month now. Sorry! Anyways, that you for every follow and review it really helps. Here you go. And just to make it up to you, in a few chapters I'll give you some fluff. Maybe like, chapter 14 will be fluff and then the rest will be heartbreaking angst. Just kidding…. Sorry again!
Sam ran up in a relief and scooped the kid up from the ground. Aleanah let out a scream, arms binded by large, muscular Sam arms. Aleanah's feet dangled a good three feet under her. "Aleanah," he sighed, "we've been looking everywhere."
She breathed out words that Sam's couldn't hear. Sam, however, did hear the gasping reply of, "can't breathe Sammy."
"Oh. Sorry," Sam awkwardly adjusted his grip on the kid, but didn't set her down on account of fear of losing her again. His eyes skimmed for injuries out of habit. The five year old was as dirty as ever, dirt smudged on her forehead and in her hair. Aleanah's short bob cut was messy and stuck to her temples. Her eyes were puffy and red, her cheeks had white streaks from tears. He didn't see any injuries except mild bruising on her forehead and scraps on her palms and knees.
Aleanah's grubby hands touched Sam's cheeks, feeling the slight five o'clock shadow he was achieving in her absence. While she felt his face in her hands, concentrating on his mouth she asked, "how'd you find me Sammy?"
Aleanah frowned in concentration as Sam spoke. "I followed a hunch. It started to rain after Cas took you...weirder stuff has happened so I just-"
"Listen to the gut?"
Sam's lips curved into a small smile, creating his dimples that Aleanah has seen only a few times. "Yeah, sort of like that." She gasped. "What?" He asked worried suddenly, his eyes shifted the empty warehouse.
"Do that again!" She focused on his cheeks. Aleanah anchored her dirty hands on the side of his face. "Smile Sammy, smile." He chuckled and the dimples appeared again. Aleanah laughed and threw her arms around her neck. "Where's Dean?"
"Waiting for you." Sam started towards the door, the rocks the under his feet crunching and moving around in the muddy warehouse. "Hey. It cold out. Where's your coat?"
She pulled away from his neck. Aleanah's eyes rolled and she gave a heavy sigh. "Oh Sammy," she chimed, smiling devilishly, which reminded Sam of an old angel friend Lucifer killed. She raised an eyebrow, "it's not raining anymore."
Sam frowned, opening the creaky door of the warehouse to a sunny day. "How'd you do that?"
"You're silly Sam. I didn't stop the rain, I just didn't hear it on the roof anymore." Aleanah rested her cheek on Sam's shoulder, wrapping an arm around his neck and letting the other arm fall. Her thin legs wrapped around his torso. The sun hit the Impala in an almost cartoony way. If life had sound effects the heavens would be singing at this glorious, shining vehicle.
Aleanah yawned next to Sam's ear, his dark hair tickling her face. "When's the last time you've slept?"
"Uh…" Aleanah rubbed her eyes with her free hand, letting yet another yawn escape. "I'm not tired. I wanna see Dean."
"Right," Sam nodded, sliding into the driver's seat and setting Aleanah in the passenger side. She pressed against him still, as if Sam were going to disappear unless she kept her eyes on him. He drove with one hand on the wheel and the other arm wrapped around her shoulder. "I better call Dean," Sam thought out loud.
"Can I," another yawn and a stretch stopped her mid sentence, "call him?" She reached for his phone and the charms around her wrist jingled, catching Sam's attention.
"Where did you get this?" Sam questioned, looking at the Enochian, Latin, Amazon, and Pagan symbols around her wrist. The chain was silver as well as most of the charms, some however were iron symbols. Sam was intrigued, maybe more so on the bracelet then the road.
Aleanah held up a finger to silence Sam, trying to find Dean's name in the contacts. She pressed the phone to her ear and waited anxiously. Three rings, that's all it took.
"What the hell Sam?" Came angrily through the phone.
"Dean!" Aleanah's smile was from ear to ear. Sam started to touch her charms, which followed Aleanah batting him away with a scowl.
"Aleanah? Kiddo where you been, we've been looking everywhere. Sam found you?"
"Uh huh. Jackie Chan was training me! I was in a bar and then Jackie Chan made ladies and I played a game...it wasn't a very fun game. Sam found me a few minutes ago." Aleanah quickly filled Dean at a speed impossible to interrupt.
"Woah. You were with Jackie Chan in a bar, with women and you played a game? Did I get all that right?"
"No! You aren't listening Dean," the girl chastised, batting Sam's hand away again and pointing at the road expectantly. "I was in a bar then I left and met a friend that was going to take me somewhere to learn about my destiny. Then Jackie Chan came and took me away. Jackie Chan took me to a diner and...and then we played a game-well, I played a game. You were there too! Kinda."
"You're making no sense. Jackie Chan. The Jackie Chan taught you how to control you angel Grace. Kid that doesn't sound right." Dean said, sounding harsher than he would have hoped.
Aleanah frowned. "You think I'm lying. Dean it was Jackie Chan, really! He gave me a present too." Sam pulled the phone from Aleanah.
"Dean. Hey, sorry I was following a hunch and-" Sam pulled the phone from his ear to minimize damage from Dean's yelling fit. Aleanah tried to hide a smile. "Look. I get that you're mad-" he pulled the phone away again. "Dean! I'm going to be there in ten minutes," Sam shoved his phone back in his pocket.
"Dean's not happy?" Aleanah frowned questionably at Sam as he drove.
"No," Sam sighed, gripping the steering wheel and occasionally glancing back at her charm. "He's just pissed is all. I took the Impala without saying anything…."
Aleanah gasped, crossing her arms over her chest. "You did what? Sammy! Well that wasn't a good idea."
"Thanks," Sam grumbled, frowning down at her. He arrived at the bunker and pulled into the side of the road and parking.
"Where are we?" Aleanah pressed her small hands to the sides of the windows, staring at the large door in awe. Dean shuffled through the door and glared at the Impala, crossing his arms. "He doesn't look happy Sam," Aleanah groaned. "Good thing he isn't mad at me," she beamed, opening the passenger door and scooting out.
"Kiddo!" Dean crouched down eye level as the tired little girl ran towards him. He grabbed her small face in his hands, examining her arms, face, neck and any other place vital for injuries. Happy with her mildly scratched self, he wrapped his arms around her and scooped her from the ground. She nuzzled her head in his shoulder. Dean mouthed to Sam, who was getting out of the Impala, 'dude don't you ever freaking run off like that again!'
Sam shrugged confusingly, gesturing towards the girl and then pointing at himself, mouthing the words, 'I brought her back didn't I?'
Dean scowled, ruffling his hand in her hair. 'Not the point Sam,' he mouthed to his brother, he pointed to himself, then to Sam, then gestured strangling him. Sam rolled his eyes and threw down his shoulders like a teenager being told to take out the trash. Aleanah lifted her face and Dean's scowl disappeared into a genuine pleased smile. "Okay, so tell me again, where were you?"
Aleanah threw her head back and sighed, much like Sam did. Dean rolled his eyes, she's back, he thinks in a grovel to himself. She answers, "Jackie Chan took me from heaven," as Dean turned around and began walking towards the bunker door. "And then he took me to the warehouse. And then he took me for pancakes. And then we played a game, not a fun one." Aleanah's smile fell when she spoke of the game, then returned just as fast, "then he gave me this!" She holds up her wrist happily.
Dean stopped right before the door, Sam not far behind him. He examined the bracelet that was full of different charms, a mini-version of his old amulet dangling along with several others. The chain had Enochian symbols carved in the silver. "The guy that took you from Heaven gave this to you?"
"Uh huh." She yanked her hand away to look at it herself, "it's it pretty?" Dean nodded absentmindedly, frowning and trying to wrap his head around the whole thing. All three of them entered the bunker, Aleanah scrambling in Dean's arms to be released. He set her down on the catwalk. Immediately she bolted down the black staircase, mesmerized by the table map.
She bounced back to life after studying the colorful map and went to the wall with all the assorted blinking buttons that she wanted to touch desperately. Aleanah peered at the two Winchesters, who shook their heads sternly. The girl sighed and went skidding into the library, Castiel came wandering from the hallway, he smiled knowingly at the girl and nodded.
"Hiya Cas," she ran up and hugged the man's legs. He tensed and looked down in shock, then relaxing and awkwardly tapping the girl on the head. "I forgive you for leaving me in Heaven."
"I was not under the impression that I needed your forgiveness," Castiel frowned and cocked his head at the girl, who angrily pulled away and crossed her arms.
"Well you did Cas, because I was mad at you for leaving me there." She uncrossed her arms and smiled up at him, "but seeing all those people was fun. What's a destiny?"
Before the confused Castiel could answer, Dean and Sam came in the library and Dean gestured towards her wrist. Castiel narrowed his eyes on the silver bracelet, recognizing all the Enochian symbols plus all the Pagan ones and simply demon traps. He gently touched the bracelet in interest. "This is made out of an angel blade," he muttered to himself. "Who did you say took you from Heaven?"
"Jackie Chan," Aleanah nodded, smiling. She thought she was becoming friends with her mentor, Gabriel. Everytime she seemed to say his name the boys stiffened and huffed angrily. Did they not like Gabriel? How could they not? Aleanah thought about it for a moment, then nodded to himself.
Castiel shook his head, "I am not familiar with this man."
Dean pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a sigh and Sam shoved his hands in his pockets, tapping his foot. "Not Jackie Chan," Dean grumbled. "Someone must be screwing with her mind."
"That would make more sense," Castiel nodded in agreement. "I'm afraid there isn't much I can do as far as that comes."
"Fan-freaking-tastic," Dean growled, throwing his hands in the air. Aleanah rolled her eyes, not particularly fond of Dean's attitude towards her new found friend. The child's eyes shifted around the library at the large shelves full of books, there was even swords hanging on the wall, though she doubted they'd allow her to play with them.
The girl walked over to one of the several chairs, sitting down at scratching at the wood table boredly. Several minutes of bickering between Sam, Dean, and Castiel came and went, in that time, Aleanah laid her head on the table, continuing to scratch at the wood. It took little over a minute before Castiel's monotone voice and being exhausted put her to sleep.

"Oh. I wasn't expecting you so soon," a voice cooed in her head. Undeniably a devilish angel's voice. "I guess sooner is better than never…wait….Anywho, why don't you come out? Stop wasting time."
Aleanah blinks, looking around at the odd objects and furniture that were littered around the very large, endless room. Gabriel was laying on a hammock, under a large umbrella, sipping a colorful drink. "Where is this place?"
Gabriel puckered his lips, looking around, "eh. It's just a prop room, I have several of them. Want a sip," he gestured towards the drink, "just kidding." He chuckled at his own joke, "much too good for children." Gabriel threw his head back in laughter. "Get it? From that movie?" He chuckled again. Aleanah just stood frowning at him. "I see the boys know somethings up. Our little Jackie Chan lie really ticked them off."
"Why am I here?" Aleanah looked around the room, on the ceiling, a large Chinese dragon hung, along with a virtual galaxy with hovering spaceships. Various doors aligned together like Monsters Inc. with the closets.
Gabriel groaned, turning on the hammock, "to train obviously. Might as well take advantage of the time you're sleeping."
"Oh," Aleanah nodded, "okay, but can you first tell me what's going on?"
"You're going to have to be a little more specific princess." Gabriel snapped his fingers and his drink vanished, he stood up, stretching.
"With me! I don't understand anything!" Aleanah stomped her foot in aggravation.
Gabriel narrowed her eyes at her, much like Castiel. "Tell you what kiddo, you pass my training camp and I'll tell you everything I know about you." Aleanah nodded in agreement. Gabriel clapped his hands together, "okay, lets get started."

Sam had picked Aleanah up and held her bridal style, walking through the hallway towards the bedrooms. "Dean," he whispered roughly towards his brother, who looked up from the book he was skimming through. "Get Softy." Dean gave a confused frown. Sam sighed, "her teddy bear thing!" Dean nodded and went to the kitchen where Castiel and he were doing the location spell earlier.
Meanwhile Sam was walking to a room, he picked a door close to both of theirs, walking into a room identical to the others. He gently set her down on the bed, pulling the blanket from underneath her. Dean came in the bedroom, tucking her bear under the girl's arm. Sam had almost gotten the blanket free when Dean began to softly untie her red shoes, dropping them on the floor.
"I think tomorrow we should spray her with the hose," Dean states, adjust the blanket. Sam nodded with a small smile. The brothers left the room, Dean flicking off the light switch and Sam closing the door.
