Hiya... this chapter was hard to write and is one of the biggest chapters I've written 'till today" Has some gruesome details, don't kill me.
Albertina's life is back in track, but something will happen to Joana, read to discover.
A vicious attack
The next morning Joana get up very early, as well Albertina, "good morning ready for the first day of your life?" She asks, Albertina blurt out ,"Oh Yes ... I see what I will find at the new NEST's base Kitchen ." Saying that, goes to prepare herself and Joana does the same thing.
At the end of 30 minutes Joana is ready, take the breakfast very relaxed, until Albertina sits in its place, "Yummy Lattes and toast!" Joana just laughed, "the breakfast of Champions!" And drink the rest of the milk going directly to the living room where everything is, turning, "Break a leg cuz!" And left the house.
Joana walk towards Optimus, "good morning Optimus, recharged well?" He flashes the headlights, "Yes, I had a good stasis." She smiled at him, while pass her hand in his vehicle form, "I am glad in hear that." He trembles when feels the Lusa girl hands, she feels too but says nothing about it, "Please take care of Albertina, prevent the Decepticons to discover her understood?" The Autobot leader tranquilize her, "you can be quiet Joana." She walks away going to her car, departing for her work, "See you later then." she waved.
When Albertina ends to take the breakfast pack up and then get everything, including documents that must deliver to the Major, to handle with her paperwork, including her driver's license.
"Good morning Optimus." Greets her, "I'm ready to go." He opens the passenger door, and she climbs sitting and puts the seat belt and put the backpack beside her.
Optimus start the engine and slowly goes out of there, directly to the base, he feels that she is not very comfortable, it's probably because of being inside his vehicle mode, and decides to break the ice, "How was your night Albertina?" The girl pulls up in her seat, "I slept just fine, thank you." He continues to feel the nervousness by hearing her voice, "I want to see the base's kitchen , to make sure everything is in order." And let out a sigh, "I hope to be accepted by the chef as well avoid getting bored." Optimus realizes her concerns, "Will be fine Albertina." Optimus assures the Lusa girl.
Albertina question, she felt something in him, "I saw my cousin with you Optimus, what did she want?" She feels the cabin in total silence, "Optimus?" She gets no response, does the question upset him? She waits for a reply, "Optimus, everything is ok with you?" He replies, "I am Albertina, just find your question a bit ..." She calculates soon but look, "but in response to your inquiry, your cousin is worried about you, and asked me to ensure your safety." Albertina is amazed with Optimus's explanation, "Wow ... my cousin is amazing, watches over myself while work!" Optimus look in her voice seems to be more comfortable and her English continues with its accent but not so sharp, she even smiles.

"Welcome to our base Albertina ." She take the documents she has in her backpack, "thank you, Major you have here the rest of the documents." He accepts everything right away while listening Albertina with a serious tone, "I want to see your kitchen please." Both look at her expression that gets tougher, "Should take her work seriously." Think Lennox.
She is forwarded to the mess hall, and when they went to there crossed paths with some Autobots who waved, she reciprocates the gesture and continues walking.
What will she find there? Wonders if it's taken care of, or will find everything in disarray? And how will the cooks? Probably friendly and workers or they are lazy? She got to see it all.
When it comes to see that is not properly tidied, everything is in a mess , "If this is on this mess, I imagine the kitchen." Think while looking for the two men in a reproving tone.
When Lennox opens the kitchen door she doesn't believe what sees, she face a total shambles, the cooks are lounging, and the kitchen is filthy, pots and pans stacked in dishwasher, dirty dishes and the food scattered in the stands.
Lennox sees that she is overwhelmed with such disorganization, and she hasn't seen the refrigerators and the freezers.
"I want to see your pantry, as well the refrigerator Chamber and refrigerators, immediately!" Lennox doesn't know what to expect there, Albertina doesn't mess around, and this is noted in the coldness of her voice, sounds like she want to flay someone.
"What she has?" Question one of the cooks with a cigarette in his hand, "I have no idea I just hope they don't bother us." But he wasn't finished, when they hear.

"I don't believe it, just don't believe what I'm seeing, gentlemen!" The cooks hear the girls voice, which changed, she is furious and is approaching them, "How could you let it get to this point?!" Without noticing Albertina is facing them with her arms crossed, take a deep breath, trying not to lose her temper... again,"How could you let it get to this point? This kitchen looks out of a House of horrors, the food is out of date, totally rotten, refrigerators look like they have never been cleaned for years and the cafeteria is disgusting.
Want to poison the entire base with what I found here?! " The others look at each other not knowing what to say, one of them gets up the nerve, "How dare you tell us what to do and who are you?" She looks the chef in the eyes, "in addition to being a Slacker is a rude.
Well I say who I am; Albertina de Vasconcelos, a certified CHEF by Porto City Hotel school, satisfied?

Then go to the hangar where FirstAid, the Autobot CMO is waiting for her, "Greetings, you must be Albertina de Vasconcelos, the human who Optimus speak of." She nods, "Yes I am, and I'm guessing you're FirstAid." The Autobot CMO nods, and without her noticing scans the fetus, and moments later with the aid of a human doctor and nurse forwards her to the table. " While we were talking I had the freedom to do a scan to your fetus, and I can say that is developing well, and is very healthy " She is very pleased with the news.
The human doctor begins to make her medical records and ask about everything, the data are given readily by Albertina.
"FirstAid likes to have everything in order." She raises an eyebrow, "And you help him with the soldiers?" He only responds, "Yes, and by the way my name is Jason Roman." And put out his hand, which is readily accepted, "Albertina de Vasconcelos." At the end of everything be in order only listens to the Autobot medic, "come here to the Medbay at the beginning of each week." She only responds, "Sure FirstAid." Joana works with her kids, they're making Solar eclipse-related activities that took place a few days before, do a lot of work having them exposed At the kindergarten main hall for all to see how creatives are the children, and have photos exposed, Autobots authorship, they sent them to Joana expose, the boss is delusional.
Then they start working the Spring theme and making gifts for Easter which is approaching very fast, and also explained the meaning of the symbols that represent the Passover to all who were curious.
The morning flies and Joana is hanging over some works on the wall while Claire watches the kids, noting that is a bit of heat and they are a little restless, but waits for the Educator finish put everything, which doesn't take long.
Joana puts the ladder aside and go to her aid, "everything is in order." Claire looks out onto the playground, "what do you think to go a bit to the playground?" Joana look outwards looking at the watch, "is a good idea, it's half an hour for me to leave." Saying that calls the children that quickly come to her, and Claire puts the hats because of the Sun.
The two are enjoying the warmth and the beautiful afternoon with the kids until appears one of the Educators, "I see that you took advantage of the afternoon to go to the playground with your kids." Joana turns to her, "Yes I am Alexandra, the day are good, and the kids were getting very restless." Alexandra agrees, "at least let all that energy accumulated during the winter." Joana laughs, "you're amazing Alexandra, recess works wonders." The colleague only asks, "do you happen to have Easter Chickens molds?" Joana responds, "Yes I have, are in the top drawer on the right." Alexandra is happy with what just heard, "you're a gem Joana." The other mocks with her, "That mold has the word "return" written, ok ?" Alexandra nods while laughing, "Only you!"
Joana continues watching the kids, and moments later look again to the watch, "Well this is 5 p.m., hours for me to leave and go in a nice drive before return home." Claire just says, "Right Joana." But the Portuguese girl asks, "don't you want at least help to get the kids into the classroom?" Claire looks at the kids, "it's not worth it, they are enjoying the playground, and I will stay here, thanks for asking." And she's out there going to the classroom to change.
When is ready to go, left the classroom saying goodbye to the colleagues, and goes to the car, doing what said earlier to Claire,goes to do a nice drive outside Tranquility. She needs to relax a bit, the last few weeks have been very busy.

And speeds up a bit, keeping a safe distance from the Semi, but feels another stronger hit, and she starts to get a little worried, "Crap... this guy is nuts, but what gave him?" She hers from the other side, "No aunt, why do you ask?" Graça begins telling what is afflicting her, "I have a bad feeling about your cousin Albertina." The Portuense tries to reassure her, "Aunt take it easy, I think everything will be fine, if there's anything I'll say something ok?" Graça sighs, moments after both hang up the phone.
Emmanuel approaching his wife, "anything?" And starts to get a little anxious, Graça just nods, "Nothing Emmanuel, Albertina doesn't know anything, yet I still have this feeling." Emmanuel puts his hands on the shoulders of his wife, "we're going to work Graça, everything will be all right."
Emmanuel barely knows that things are not as he think, Joana runs a serious danger, the Decepticons are doing everything to harm her daughter, they want her dead, whatever it takes.
On the outskirts of the city
"It can't be, they want to kill me!" She tries to fend off the attackers and in fact achieves this just for a moment. They said not a word, instead continue to run into Joana's car, want to put her off the road.
Despite being a bundle of nerves and panic, try to stay calm, she don't want to lose control of the car.
"Holy God ... How could I be such a fool, after all they were preparing something against me!" Guessed Joana, "Optimus warned me they were to mobilize on the outskirts of Tranquility." She feels one more hit.
At the military base
"Sir the Decepticons are moving again!" Reports on a soldier to Major Lennox who promptly receives satellite images, "what time was this?!" On the road
"I will not be able to maintain control of the car much longer!" Notes Joana. Suddenly the Semi behind the car hit her really hard, making the Lusa girl lose control of her vehicle, which begins to roll over several times, her reaction is to protect the head.
The car stop roll over, and is virtually scrapped, the two Decepticons think the occupant is dead and goes on the run without a lot of fuss, leaving those inside the car at risk of life.
Joana is unconscious inside the car and losing a lot of blood, her salvation or maybe her undoing was the seat belt and airbag that kept her safe in the driver's seat, to make things worse the car is about to explode.
In the distance some military vehicles and an ambulance, a Semi with red flame decals and two sports cars are approaching the crash site.
"We arrived too late!" Mumbles Epps when he sees a wrecked car.
One of the paramedics just wonder when sees the wrecked car, "Who have been the unlucky who crossed paths with the Decepticons?" Epps is white as a sheet, recognizes the vehicle and exit the Jeep running along the broken car, when stop seeing Joana upside down, but trapped by the seat belt, turns to the side watching fuel and some sparks, "we gotta get her out of here, the car is about to blow!" Screams Epps with a urgent tone, FirstAid scans Joana's body, the spine was not affected by the impact, "Can take it without danger." One of the soldiers carries a stretcher in order to put the accident victim in the ambulance.
"We have to remove her from the wreckage." FirstAid just warns, "do it fast, the vitals are getting weaker." Another soldier brought the necessary tools to cut the metal, but Optimus opens the car in half, cut the seat belt and remove Joana's limp body with the utmost care and places her directly in the ambulance.
Before the car explodes, was thrown some foam onto the car avoiding the explosion, Epps sees her backpack intact inside, putting it on his shoulder.
"Thanks to Primus we managed to save her." Sigh Crosshairs when sees the ambulance pulling away from there.
However Optimus looks at the car's wreckage, and punch in the soil, making a small hole, "couldn't do nothing Prime." Says Drift while studying their leader, and see the look in his eyes, is angry and wants revenge.
"Snap out of it right now Sensei! She needs you." Epps had stay behind and overhears the three Autobots, "I couldn't help but overhear, but go after the Decepticons will not solve anything at this point." Then look for the car's wreckage, "I swear that we will hunt them, and they will pay for what they did!" But Optimus can't hear, "get outta my face!" But the black man faced him, "in your dreams Prime, we're in this together!" Both see that the ambulance is far away, and then look at the car again, "it's a miracle she survived this attack." The three Autobots and the human left from there straight to the hospital of Tranquility city.
Lennox receives the news that the victim of the attack is Joana, he has to warn Albertina who in the kitchen preparing dinner, he bursts through the doors, "I have alarming news Albertina." The girl look for what he's doing, "What!?" She sees everything just by the Major's look , it seems that is studying the best way on how to tell her the news, and that puts her very restless, "spit it out at once Major!" He takes a deep breath, saying, "your cousin was attacked by Decepticons, she survived but is in a very bad shape." She looks at him with wide eyes open shaking, "T ... tell me you're not lying." He tells her in a very dark tone, "I wish Albertina, but I'm not."
Agony screams are heard outside, Albertina cries compulsively, she doesn't want to lose her cousin and she would be a huge loss if Joana dies.
Lennox doesn't know what to do to consoling the Portuguese girl, is powerless and do something, hold the girl to see if calms her.
Sideswipe appears very alarmed because heard the agony screaming earlier, "what's wrong Major? I heard screaming. " The Major points to Albertina who has her head laid on his chest, "Joana was attacked by Decepticons." Sides understood soon immediately, "Major go warn Joana's family, they need to know." Reluctantly Lennox does that, "Get well Tina ok?" She looks at the Mech that is behind her, "Yes ... and thank you." And he comes out of there, leaving Albertina with Sides, "Albertina want me to drive you to the hospital?" She nods to the Autobot ' Yes Sides, thanks. "
In the restaurant
Joana's mother receives the bad news by phone, Lennox had the arduous task to do, and everything causes a great outcry in the family, and when they know that Joana is at the city hospital in, all are heading there, want to know her status, and got close to her.
All are in the expectation if she will survive the injuries or not, Graça prays to God and all the Saints who believes, to guide and keep Joana alive.
In the base ...
"Where's Albertina Major?" Lennox turns seeing Optimus, "went to the town's hospital." Optimus says only to the human, "I want this attack investigated, the Decepticons who did this must pay." Epps appears behind Prime, "at least send a team to collect Joana's car wreckage, so we can discover the real culprits." Lennox reacts, "and that's exactly what we will do." The conversation is interrupted by Graham, "The Yeagers also knew by Epps and are on their way right now, as well the Witwikys." Lennox just says, "Let's go to the hospital, probably Joana's family and friends also should be there." Said that Optimus and some Autobots are en route together with the humans.
At the hospital
"I regret what happened to Joana, Graça." Lamented Claire, "we only met in dark hours such as this." Graça looks at Claire, "thank you for coming by, Claire, this is very important for us." Claire just informs, "John also comes here." Then start talking, "Joana left at 5 p.m. in such a good mood, and just told me that would drive a little out of town, I never thought of this." Graça puts a hand on her shoulder, "I know she does that, but who said it was going to be attacked?" Claire just says, "I know this is not funny, but she used to say that the hard times are Devil's hours!" Graça smiles.
Shortly after enters Albertina followed by Sideswipe's holoform, and she hugs her Aunt, "Oh aunt ..." And both cry a little, "Albertina, thanks for coming!" The girl just says, "I had to come aunt, after all she is my cousin. The Autobots, Lennox, Epps and Graham are on their way, they will be here any minute. " Said that both remain in the waiting room, waiting for news.
An hour past the Autobots and humans arrive at the hospital, Lennox and the other humans will have with the family, and asks, "How is she Graça?"She nods, "we don't know anything yet since we arrived." Lennox just says, "we tried to arrive in time to prevent the attack but ..." She silences him, "Lennox don't blame yourself, you tried." He continues, "we received satellite images and tried to act!" Graça give a stern look to Lennox, "what's done is done, we can't change anything." And hold his hand, "I'm glad you're still here."
Outside
Optimus in front of the hospital in vehicle mode, doesn't know what to do, he doesn't want to lose Joana, and wants revenge.
Without knowing feels a hand, and recognize the person, Albertina who is washed in tears, he opens his door, "Get in Albertina." She does what he ordered, get inside, "Optimus I know how you feel." Optimus is quietly listening to her, "you're not the only one who fears losing her, she is my family, my own flesh and blood.
Done so much for me and for you guys, and I did nothing for it so far, I feel so helpless right now! " He knows that she's right, he's not the only one to suffer, knows that her family suffers for her, don't know if she pass tonight.
"We have to think positive, if we want to survive." Optimus just shoot, "what I do know is that the Decepticons will escape unpunished it." Her eye twitch, "don't you dare tell me something like that, they will pay a high price." She's determined to get justice and will not rest until she see the villains captured.
Know that the Decepticons are tricky and that probably will try something against her if they find out it's Joana's relative, but not afraid of this threat, then proceeds passing her hand on the dashboard, "Optimus we will be alongside Joana and pray that she recovers from this accident." When he was going to respond, Albertina's voice get more darker , "and pray it's not too late to tell her how you feel about her." He sighs, "I can't ... I ..." She just screams furious, "COWARD, TELL HER OTHERWISE I WILL! AND NOTHING WILL STOP ME TO DO! " He feels determination in her voice, seeing that has tears in her eyes, threatening to scroll through the face of the young human. She opens the passenger door leaving, "think about what I said Prime, don't be a coward." He sees moving away from its form entering the hospital to join the family waiting for news.
On the outskirts of the city
"We terminated the human female Decepticons, no thanks to you but to me! My revenge is complete! " One of Galvatron's subordinates doesn't dare say that she survived the attack, or he could suffer a reprimand, prefers to stay quiet and listen to their leader gloating of his alleged victory.
"My plan worked after months of preparation, now Prime will perish knowing that failed to protect the human." But Galvatron doesn't know, there is someone looking for Joana, who at that moment is fighting for her life.
At the hospital parking lot
Optimus is watching Joana's status by taping the hospital computers, and knows that is very precarious, but feel Graça approaching alongside his vehicle mode, "face me like a man Prime, tells me that it's your fault!" Her voice does not denote hatred or anything, but sadness, and he doesn't dare show up and broke Graça's heart, "Activate your holoform or transform and tell me on my face that it's your fault!" He does exactly that and his bipedal holoform appears facing the Lusa woman, "I. .." But she holds his hand, "Say it Optimus..."
He takes a deep breath, "Mrs De Vascocelos I failed!" The poor woman has a tear running down her face nodding her head, "it's not your fault, you did everything in your power to protect her." He retorts, "But I failed, and because of this she's over there fighting for her life." She puts her hand on the Holoform's face, "the Decepticons are the real culprits for everything, not you! You did more for us humans, than we do for you, and as I said it's not your fault. " And embraces him warmly, "it's not fair blame you for this because the harm is done, Optimus you can be quiet." He looks at her, "Mrs De Vasconcelos..." She holds his both hands, "you're part of the family Optimus Prime, and we will win this ordeal in family." Optimus doesn't know what to say to the Portuguese woman.
Phew... this chapter was so long!
Poor Joana, she was attacked by a mysterious Semi, who was him?
Joana will survive? Well... right now she's fighting for her life but she will go to a mysterious place.
Why Albertina yelled to Optimus? And Why Graça didn't blamed him for this? The real culprits are the villains.
