Pony Le Pu-Courtyard
Morning rose in Pony Le Pu as the carriage was carrying Judge Mareister to the courtyard where Flash Sentry and the guards were waiting.
"Tention," Flash announced as the carriage pulled up.
Mareister looked like he hadn't slept in forever, but little did they know, he was up all night having thoughts of Twilight.
"Good morning sir, oh," Flash Sentry responded after seeing Mareister look tired, "Are you feeling all right?"
"I had a little trouble with the fireplace," Mareister lied trying to hide his pink eyes.
"I see, your orders sir," Flash responded.
"Find the alicorn," Mareister ordered.
Pony Le Pu
The guards break the door open into the bakery vandalizing everything inside the store, and then moving a barrel, they find a hatch door where underneath they found a few ponies hiding underneath.
"Ten bits for the alicorn Twilight Sparkle," Mareister said offering them bits.
None of them would even say a word.
"Lock them up," Mareister ordered.
The guards locked up the ponies in a cage and pushed them down into the river. Then Mareister captured more ponies who were in hiding.
"Twenty bits for the alicorn Twilight Sparkle," Mareister said offering them more bits.
They refused as well to say a word.
"Take them away!" Mareister ordered.
Flash wasn't feeling happy about what Judge Clyde Mareister was doing. He has started to figure that he has gone crazy, and he also knew Twilight was in danger.
Pony Le Pu-Miller House
Mareister was at the Miller's house, and many citizens were there, and Twilight and Spike were there wearing a purple cloak.
"Poor miller, he's never harmed anyone," said a female pony.
"Mareister's gone mad," said a male pony.
Inside the house was a purple pony with a brown mane and a beard. He also had a wife and daughter. His wife was a blue pony with a brown yellow mane, and his daughter was a red philly with the same color mane as her mother, and a baby foal.
"We found this alicorn talisman on your property. Have you been harboring alicorns?" Mareister questioned.
"Our home is always open to the weary traveler. Have mercy my lord," said the miller pony.
"I'm placing you and your family under house arrest until I get to the bottom of this. If what you say is true and you are innocent, then you have nothing to fear," Mareister stated as he and Flash walked out.
"But we are innocent. I assure you, we know nothing of these alicorns," said the miller pony.
Mareister closed the door, put a spear in front of the handle to lock them in, and then handed Flash a torch.
"Burn it," Mareister ordered Flash.
"What?" Flash questioned.
"Until it smolders, these ponies are traitors and must be made examples of," Mareister stated.
"With all due respect sir, I was not trained to murder the innocent," Flash told Mareister.
"But you were trained to follow orders," Mareister stated.
Flash was starting to move back with the torch, and then he stood up to the cruel judge by dropping the torch into a barrel of water.
"Insolent coward," Mareister called Flash.
Mareister took another torch and raised it on to the windmill blade causing the whole house to go up in flames. A windmill blade fell, and Flash got out of the way. Then he heard the screams of the family.
Flash took action and flew into the house breaking the window. Twilight and Spike looked worried, but Flash was able to get the whole family out before the entire building collapsed. Flash handed the miller his daughter and his baby, but got hit on the head with a sword which caused him to fall down, and his helmet fell off.
"Then sentence for insubordination is death. Such a pity, you threw away such a promising career," Mareister stated to Flash.
"Consider it my highest honor sir," Flash replied.
As the guards were about to execute him, Twilight blasted a magic beam to blast away the sword and allow Flash Sentry to break free, fight off the guards, and fly away.
"Get him!" Mareister yelled out.
The guards got out their bow and arrows and started to fire arrows at Flash Sentry. He was able to dodge until one of them hit him in the left wing.
"Grrr," Flash retorted leaving Twilight to gasp as he fell into the river.
The guards continued to shoot their arrows at him to make sure he was dead. Twilight and Spike were carefully trying to get to the bottom of the bridge to make sure he was alright.
"Don't waste your arrows. Let the traitor rot in his watery grave," Mareister told the guards, "Find the mare, if you have to burn the city to the ground, so be it."
Mareister and the guards were crossing the bridge back to Pony Le Pu, and Twilight saw them leave. She then ran into the river to try and rescue Flash Sentry. After a few seconds, she was able to pull him out to safety.
Pony Le Pu-Cathedral
The city of Pony Le Pu was in a siege of fire as they continued to search for Twilight Sparkle. The guards met Mareister in the courtyard.
"Sir, we've looked everywhere and still no sign of the alicorn girl," said one of the guards.
"I had the entire cathedral surrounded, guards at every door. There was no way she could have escaped," Mareister said to himself until he heard the bells ringing, "Unless."
He looked up into the cathedral and noticed that the only possible way Twilight Sparkle could have escaped was with the help of Discord.
"It doesn't look good," Fluttershy said.
"It's hopeless, absolutely hopeless," Rarity said looking at the fire.
"You're telling me, I'm losing to Pinkie," Rainbow Dash said as she and Pinkie were playing cards.
"It's not my fault I got I got three kings," Pinkie said.
"Oh, but poor Twilight. I'm beginning to fear for the worst," Applejack said.
"I know, but don't say anything to upset Discord. He's worried enough already," said Fluttershy.
"Yeah you're right, we better lighten up," Rainbow Dash said.
"Shh, here he comes," Rarity said as Discord was coming down.
"Now just stay calm," Fluttershy said
"Not a word," Applejack replied.
"Easy does," Pinkie smiled.
"Stone faced," Applejack replied.
"Any sign of her," Discord asked.
Rarity was starting to have her teeth chatter, and she just couldn't hold it in front of Discord any longer.
"Oh it's a lost cause! She could be anywhere, in the stocks, in the dungeon, on the rack!" Rarity cried as she was crying.
"Nice one Rarity," Rainbow Dash retorted.
"No, Rarity's right. What are we going to do?" Discord asked himself.
"What are you all talking about, we know Twilight. She probably used her magic stuff to get way ahead of that mean old judge, and get herself out of harm's way." Pinkie said.
"Do you really think so?" Discord asked.
"Hey, when things cool off, she'll be back," Rainbow Dash replied.
"You're right, let's just hope for the best." Discord suggested.
They all continued to look out the window hoping to find Twilight. Then they heard a voice coming through the door.
"Hello, Discord, guys?" Twilight asked as she was the pony who came through the door.
"Is that Twilight?" Discord questioned himself, "I'll check."
Discord was running down the stairs, and noticed that Twilight was downstairs.
"Twilight, you're all right. I knew you would come back for us," Discord said happily seeing the purple alicorn and giving her a hug.
"Hey, you did a lot for me already," Twilight commented, "But I need your help again, and I want my friends to help too."
"Of course Twilight, I will do anything for you," Discord replied.
Discord saw an injured Flash Sentry coming through the door with Spike trying to hold him up.
"Flash Sentry just like me is now a fugitive. He's in great pain, and I was wondering if he could rest in here and hide with you and my friends?" Twilight asked.
"Anything for you Twilight. Follow me, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and my dear Fluttershy would be happy to take care of you." Discord told Flash.
