[AN: Woot! I'm so on top of things today! Look at all the time I found to put out this chapter! lol Reminder, this story is rated R for a reason... If you don't know about strippers or are offended by them... well no one really strips here so it doesn't really matter, but there are some sexually suggestive sections coming up. Won't be offended if you skip them, pretty much just setting up the twitch in personality coming up. Oh boy, they want her to dance... time to sink or swim Kerri!]

'Tomorrow' came faster than Kerri remembered any day coming before.

She was so nervous through class that she didn't finish any of her homework. When it came to be her free period, she went to her room, making sure that as she passed someone she grew her tail and ears. She put on the outfit Danni had picked out for her.

The shirt was almost black, and tightly laced, showing every curve and, she thought, imperfection on her body. The shorts where tight, black as well, and she hardly managed to get her tail through the hole she'd made. They didn't even come down to her finger tips, but at least they didn't quite show her underwear, and the bright colored tiny skirt, which she couldn't imagine was longer than five inches, went on over it, covering the hole her tail was coming from. She put the tall heels on and looked at herself in the mirror.

She felt naked, but she tried to assure herself that the outfit was still about as covering as her training outfit. She could see through the shirt a little, so she put on skin tight a spaghetti strap tank top under it, just in case.

She turned on some music that sounded like the stuff from the club and practiced the moves Danni had taught her, she was dancing for a few minutes before she caught sight of herself in the mirror. 'Oh man, I look so stupid,' she thought as she stopped dancing. 'No way I'm going to be able to dance tonight...'

Kerri was nervously standing in the dressing room, still wearing her duster coat.

Danni walked in, talking to Tammi. "Yeah, so then I was telling him that I don't care what some idiot on a chat line said, I'm actually a nurse- oh, hi Kerri, what's wrong?"

"N-nothing, just..." She was fighting to keep her tail and ears away for the time being.

"Just nervous?" Danni asked.

"Yeah," Kerri said.

"Don't worry," Danni laughed. "I'll explain it all, you see, first they'll announce you, then you'll go out there, and dance to one song, then you can move down and go to sit with people, or dance at one of the other spots," she said as she took Kerri over to the vanity and started on her make up.

Tammi helped pull her hair out of the single pony tail and started a braid the went around the side of her head. She ended it and pulled it into a pony tail that somehow defied gravity and stuck up instead of down.

A few of the other dancers came and started on their makeup and hair, wishing her good luck as they left the vanity to change, and a few of the waitresses came to check out what she was wearing, who she was supposed to be, but they walked away not knowing due to her duster coat.

"You should put on the tail and ears now, so you can get used to them," Tammi suggested. "I mean, remember how bad we all were with the wings." She laughed, but Kerri wasn't sure what to say. She couldn't outright tell them that they were hers and that she was used to them already, so she just nodded and went into the bathroom for a second before coming out with the duster over her arm, letting her tail and ears free of restraints.

"Oh, wow, turn around and let us see," Danni ordered and she complied.

"Wow, those look so natural," Tammi said as she walked closer. "Can I touch them?"

Kerri nervously bit her cheek. "Well... I-"

"It's ok, I get it," Tammi said. "They're pinned in, right? Don't want to touch them and have them fall off," she laughed.

Kerri nodded, agreeing quickly, then stopped and touched her ear like she was making sure it was still on.

Tammi smiled and slapped her on the shoulder as she passed her. "Well, break a leg out there, see ya later," she said as she exited to go help finish setting the tables up.

Kerri put her coat back on, feeling the need to hide, and Danni poked her hair, making sure it was still in place, and made sure her make up was still good.

The music started playing and the other dancers left, but Danni reassured her that it would be ok, that she'd stay with her until it was time, even though Kerri tried to act tough and not look worried.

There was a knock on the door and Danni opened it, letting Sal in. "Hey, how you two doin'?" They nodded ok and he continued. "Ok, so Danni is going to be kinda like your mentor, she'll show you around so you can get the hang of walking around the people, and come out with you to do your first dance. Then, Danni, you switch stages with her, ok?"

Danni nodded again. "Sure, Sal."

"Ok, you two do good, and I want to see good dancing tonight, right?" Sal asked and Kerri nodded in reply. "You wanna be called somethin' special when you go up?" He asked.

Kerri looked at Danni, unsure. "He means a stage name," she told her.

"Um, I guess Lina, no one would know it's me by that name," Kerri said.

"Ok, then, I'll tell the DJ. See you two later, I gotta get back to the kitchen," Sal said as he headed out through the door.

"What's Lina?" Danni asked her as she touched up her flawless hair in the vanity.

"My name," Kerri answered.

"Oh, no really trying to hide, huh?" Danni asked the mirror.

"Um, well, I don't know... This is probably going to be my last dance anyway," Kerri mumbled.

"Why do you say that? Are you thinking about quitting?" Danni turned to her, forgetting about her hair.

"No, just- did I ever tell you that I'm no good in big crowds of people? Especially when they're all looking at me?" Kerri asked lightly.

"You're afraid of crowds?" Danni asked. "You seemed to be ok when you were serving..."

"No, I'm not afraid of them, I just, I don't know... When a lot of people are looking at me, I- can't move," she admitted.

"Well, this is going to be a slow night, I think, so there won't be that many people. Why don't we practice the dance moves? Will that help? You should put on your heels, too." Danni suggested and started dancing around to the music that had started coming through the wall.

"I guess," Kerri said and put on the three inch heels she'd brought with her. "I don't know how you walk around in these all night," she told Danni, but Danni just shrugged.

"Used to it, I guess. They show off your legs so nicely, too. Are you going to keep wearing that stuff after your first dance?" Danni asked.

"What do you mean?" Kerri asked as she stood next to Danni.

"Well, I got that out for you because it's a good thing to wear for your first dance, to catch the men's attention, but you don't have to keep wearing that, you could change costumes, like I don't know, what do furries like?" Danni thought to herself as she danced, but apparently couldn't think of anything, and continued. "Like, you know, the guys that are interested in talking to me, some of them are interested in hearing about procedures, or just think that nurses are hot, so I could come in here in full out scrubs, God knows it would be more comfortable, but I wear this because it makes me feel sexy. That's the most important thing, I think; if you feel sexy and look like you're having fun, the guys eat it up."

Kerri thought about that as she shuffled, but Danni stopped her lazy movements. "No, no, no. Look like you're having fun, and take off your coat, no one can see your nice legs."

Kerri put her coat in her cubby and went back to shuffling by Danni. "Come on, Kerri, really dance. Think of being alone and let yourself go, or, that guy you like, dance for him, or to spite him," Danni corrected herself at the dark look that came to Kerri's face. "I know you're mad at him, so show off to the other men and show him what he's missing," she said, dropping over at the waist and slowly trailing her hands up her legs and body as she stood straight again, shaking her butt the whole time. "Haven't met a man that could resist that," she giggled.

Kerri smiled. "Like this?" She asked teasingly as she imitated Danni's move, trailing her hands up herself ridiculously, making Danni giggle more.

Suddenly there was a head poking in the door. "They're ready," the waitress said and closed the door.

"Sounds like it's time to shine," Danni said, opening the door for her.

Kerri's nerves suddenly came back, but she followed Danni through the door and stopped at the bottom of the stairs to the stage. The song that was playing ended and the music paused, making everyone look up to the stage; they only did this for announcements.

The DJ's middle toned voice excitedly announced, "Look out, Starshine is entering the stage! And now, Reves les Plus Fous would like to present it's newest dancer, Lina! Let's hear it for her, gentlemen, it's her first dance!"

Danni led her onto the stage and put her next to the pole, leaving her there as she went down the catwalk, passing a dancer dressed as a teacher in a short tweed skirt, a half done up button up blouse, a pair of pumps, and a pair of glasses.

Kerri stood there for a moment, looking out at the crowd of men. There really were only about two or three hundred, but that was more than the entire school! Her heart started beating faster, and she thought for a moment, 'I wish I was just in the danger room with Logan...'

The music started, and Kerri recognized it; the Enrique Iglesias song, 'Tonight I'm lovin you.' They'd played it enough that she knew the beat and had unwittingly memorized the lyrics.

"Yoooooooooooooooooooou, yoooooooooooooooooooou," the first words rang through the room, but she just stared out at the men who were staring at her, and her chin started to drop shyly, her ears tilting to the sides nervously. "I know you want me, I made it obviouse that I want you too," the beat started and Kerri put her right hand out, stepping and moving it to the beat a few times, then repeating the movions with her left side. "Now rock your body," she felt prompted to start rocking her hips side to side a little, "damn I like the way that you move," she blushed at the lyrics, as though someone had actually said it to her. She felt so stupid, all those people were looking at her and she was hardly moving. "You're so damn pretty," the beat in the music paused for a moment, and Kerri closed her eyes.

'Just think about being in your room,' she thought, her hand reaching out to hold onto the pole in the darkness. She tried to calm herself down, and imagined that she was alone, determined to dance like she wasn't an idiot. "If you feel sexy and look like you're hiving fun, the guys eat it up," Danni's words floated through her head.

Kerri started to sway a little more, still holding onto the pole and keeping her eyes closed. The beat started building back up and she kept pace with it until it finally broke, then she rocked her hips from side to side, her upper body getting into the rhythm, too, but this time, her body was in it, not just making the motions.

The beat dropped again and she moved her hand up, pulling her hair away from her face slowly, feeling where it had fallen as she danced. As the next words came, she moved around the pole; "gunna give you, my all," her left side was pressed against the pole, "winter n summertime," she was standing right behind it and had switched hands so that her right hand was now holding onto it, "when I get you on the springs," her right side was at the pole now, "Imma make you fall," on the word fall, she turned and fell so she was kneeling in front of the pole with her back turned to the rest of the room. The beat came back with the next words, and Kerri started flicking her tail back and forth with her hips as she moved from a crouch to stand, still moving her hips back and forth, her tail flicking with them.

There was a pause in the beat and she turned to face the room, even though her eyes were still closed, and when the beat jumped back in, her whole body started rocking and twisting to the music, her tail and hair were flicking everywhere with her movements.

The music started to slow as it neared the end of the song and Kerri's moments slowed with it. "Yoooooooooooooooooooou, yoooooooooooooooooooou," it was almost over, and she kept one hand on the pole as she spun around it slowly. When she'd gone in a full circle, she stopped and spun her body out so she was standing an arms length away, then slowly leaned in toward it and slid down, her legs going out to her side, one over the other, and her tail laying over them.

There was a beat of silence before the next song started and she opened her eyes to see that people were indeed still staring at her. Danni rescued her, though, coming up to trade her stages.

Kerri went down to the end of the cat walk and held onto the pole so she didn't fall over as she danced. She noticed that a few guys were watching her, but most of them were back to their own fetishes.

Later, Kerri drove back to the school. The radio was playing, but she couldn't concentrate on listening to it.

She was wondering if she should feel dirty from the night she had just worked.

She felt like maybe she should, but when she thought about it, she hadn't done anything wrong, hadn't taken off any clothes, hadn't done anything to anyone, hadn't gotten mixed up in anything illegal...

She pulled into the garage and turned off the car, still thinking.

A body appeared in the doorway, followed by a puff of cigar smoke.

Kerri got out of the car, pulling her coat closer around her, and walked towards the door. "Hi, Logan," she greeted, but he only looked her over before turning back into the school, leaving the door open. A small quirk of a smile appeared on her lips as she thought, 'aww, so sweet of him to worry.'

Kerri was sitting in Professor Xavier's office, in her usual spot.

"Kerri, I have a question for you, I'd like a straight answer," Charles said. Kerri nodded, indicating she would. "What are you thinking about doing after you graduate?"

Kerri thought for a moment. "I'm not sure, I'm saving up my paychecks so I can afford to move into a place," she said. "And I have a job, so I think it's pretty well handled..."

"But you don't have a social security card or a birth certificate," he said. "I don't think anyone will rent to you without a background."

"Yeah, I guess that's true," she said, feeling the twist he was trying to put on her arm. "But I got away with that before when I got my drivers licence." She let him hang for a second. "What were you going to suggest?"

"Well, I was thinking that you might be a good addition to the X-Men, or at least a reserve," he said. Kerri tilted her head to the side and looked at a picture on the wall. "You can think about it, if you like, but I'd like to put through a training with the team in the mean time," he told her.

Kerri didn't move for a moment, just stared at the picture. "I suppose that would be ok," she said finally. "But I could be a reserve and live somewhere else, right?" She pointedly asked.

Charles continued watching her, knowing that she had felt the screws he'd tried to delicately tighten. "I suppose I don't see how it would be a big problem," he told her.

Kerri looked back to his face, seeing what was not written there; he'd made a compromise that he wasn't entirely sure he liked.

Kerri knew that if she wanted to save enough money to afford a good apartment and a car before she graduated, she had to work, and she knew she didn't want to wear the same clothes or those ridiculous shoes, so she went shopping.

She did a lot of research first, but found that most of the furry stuff was just normally dressed or in costumes, so she went to a thrift store and wandered around, ending up with a bag of clothes.

That night, Kerri walked into the club, wearing a new outfit she'd put together. She had on a skirt that went down to her fingertips, a shirt that was tight on the top with slits up to her bra line, and on her feet she wore a pair of boots, a solid looking short pair with a short heel on them.

As she danced on the platform she held onto the pole so she didn't fall. She felt more comfortable over here, just dancing and having fun, she didn't really see anyone watching her, so she just danced like she didn't care. It was almost like being an extra in a movie; just one of the background characters left to do her own thing while everyone was focused on someone else.

When the song ended, she looked up and saw that there were a few guys actually looking at her.

"Hey, wanna come sit with me when you're off stage?" One of them asked.

Kerri thought for a moment. It was her job to go sit with them and talk, so she nodded and danced through the next song, wondering what this guy thought was so sexy about her. Was it really the ears and tail?

When that song ended, she walked up the catwalk and around back to the table.

"Hey, sweetheart, why don't you come tell me about yourself?" The man asked. He had dark hair, brown eyes, and he looked like he was about twenty five.

She put on a smile and sat next to him. "My name is Lina, what's yours?"

"My name's Jonah. How long have you been a furry?" He asked.

"Well, I didn't even know what a furry was until the owner asked me to dance," she admitted. He looked let down, so she tried to patch it up, trust her to mess it up in the first sentence... "But I've had a tail for a few years."

He nodded, looking at it as it laid on the seat next to her leg. "It looks so real... Can I touch it?"

Kerri's ears turned and her tail twitched into her hands. "Ummm," she was supposed left the guys talk and look, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to let anyone touch her tail; it felt kind of, wrong, somehow.

"It moved, oh wow," he was staring at it in her hands.

She was silent, wondering how to take the situation, but Danni came to rescue her. "I'm sorry, I have to steal your date," she said pleasantly.

Kerri followed Danni away from the table. "I saw you looking worried. Don't worry," she giggled, "not all of the customers are like that; weird."

Kerri shrugged, he was actually kind of nice. "He wasn't that bad..."

When she was back up on the stage, Jonah was watching her, the way her tail moved, her body and hair, too.

She wondered if he was really interested or if he just suspected her of being a mutant. She decided to find out, and, reaching out, started to feel the emotions. Want, desire, excitement...

The longer she danced, the more she felt it, and as she was driving home, she felt a feeling trying to rise up. It was something she'd felt before; she always felt this way when she looked at Kurt, like she was suddenly electrified, wanting to run into his arms and start kissing him, pressing against him...

The memories of the way he tasted, his hands as they moved along her sides, his softly fuzzed skin as she touched him, all flowed through her mind.

Her was breath heavy in her chest, and her body was tingling with the memories of when she and Kurt kissed, when they'd managed to get away from the teachers enough to make out.

Anger filled her. He was a teacher now, and her body was betraying her.

The rest of the week Kerri wore her new clothes to work, danced, talked to Jonah, went through classes, finished her homework, worked out in the danger room and slept a few hours at a time, it was strange, but it kind of made her feel like she had two days every day; one in the morning to go to school and train, one to go to work and feel the emotions there.

She was trying to keep her walls up, but it was almost like the emotions were directed at her, and once she could feel them, the rest of the sexually frustrated atmosphere wanted to push in, too.

She had started trying to meditate before going to sleep, but usually still ended up restlessly tossing and turning.

Saturday came and Logan came to her room, bringing her down to the danger room.

She walked into the Danger Room after changing and saw that everyone else was already there; Cyclops looked over at her, giving her a look that was veiled, but seemed hostile, Storm was talking to Beast away from the others, Kurt- Nightcrawler, looked up at her, a hopeful gleam in his golden eyes, and Logan- Wolverine, followed right behind her into the room.

It seemed she was having a little trouble thinking of Kurt and Logan with their code names.

"Everyone knows the drill; new member trials. Remember, this is supposed to be real. Kerri, don't worry if you get overwhelmed or scared," Cyclops said, sounding like he'd enjoy seeing it, just a little.

Kerri's eyes narrowed a little, but she didn't say anything.

The Danger Room shivered as the scenario took over the steel walls, and they were standing outside, a very tall building visible about a block away from them.

"Ok, we've got three hostages in that hotel," Cyclops pointed at the tall building. "Fiftieth floor, room 5072. Wolverine, Kerri, you go in and get the hostages, Nightcrawler and Storm, evac on the roof, be ready to get them into the chopper, which will arrive shortly, Beast and I will try to keep any more of them from entering the building," he said, handing out the radios.

They broke up into their groups, Storm and Nightcrawler walking up to the building with Kerri and Wolverine.

When they got there Storm turned to Wolverine. "We'll see you at the top," she said as she flew up into the air towards the roof.

Kurt gave Kerri a longing look, like he wanted to say something, before he teleported up the building to the roof.

Kerri and Wolverine entered to the building, riding the elevator to the fiftieth floor. They got off and went to the door. "You lead, Kid," Wolverine said.

Kerri stood in front of the door and knocked. "Rooooom service," she said is a sticky sweet voice.

"We didn't order any room service," a voice from inside said. "Wrong room."

She knocked again, again saying, " rooooom service."

"Get out of here, we didn't order room service!" Another voice called from inside.

"Open the door, or I'll open it for you," she told them, her voice only slightly nicer than her normal voice.

"Do it and we'll blow your brains out, now, get out of here!" The first voice said.

Kerri shifted into her battle form, her tail lashing out, and her wings unfolding. Her tail flew through the air, making an X and she turned in a kick, breaking the pieces into the room and slipping into a set of splits as bullets flew over her head.

The clips ran out and as they were trying to reload, Kerri leaped up and entered the room, taking stock of the room.

There was a bed on one side of the room with two tied up, unconscious bodies on it and one man crouched against the wall, two men were standing across from the door she was standing in.

Her wings twitched and one man asked her derisively, "What are you supposed to be, an angel?"

An image from a manga came into her head, and Kerri looked up at them, her smile turning smirky. "How about a vampire?" She asked, her shadow lengthening across the room and her shadow's wings wrapping around them as her teeth grew into larger, deadlier fangs and her skin grew paler. As her wings let go of them, they were bound in some sort of shadowy ribbon like rope and fell to the floor, unconscious.

Her form shifted back to her normal human self, remembering that she was here to rescue, not scare, the hostages, and she walked over to the man crouching against the wall, Wolverine following her in and throwing the two unconscious hostages over his shoulders.

She held her hand out, unable to help herself from saying, "Come with me if you want to live."

The man looked up at her, stuttering, "No- no, I-"

"Don't worry, we're the good guys, here to save the day," she reached for his hand, but when she grabbed it, pain flooded through her.

It was more like a low electric jolt going on for what seemed like forever, but was really only a moment.

Wolverine was notifying the team that they'd found and secured the hostages when out of the corner of his eye he saw Kerri's body shimmer and start flashing through different forms. Fur, scales, legs, wings, arms, it was a mess of images until the man's hand slipped from hers as she fell to her knees, open mouthed and wide eyed.

"Kid! What happened?" He asked, stepping closer, but unsure what to do.

"It's my mutation, I tried to tell her but she didn't listen," the man said.

Kerri was staring blankly at the floor, but after a silence, Kerri blinked, taking a deep breath and letting it out. "That was a trip down memory lane I didn't need," she commented weakly.

"Kid-" Pause. "Stop messin' around and let's go," Wolverine ordered.

"Yes." She stood and looked at the man. "So, don't take my hand, but let's go."

They got out of the door into the hall as Nightcrawler's voice on their radios spoke, "Ve have company up here, but ve're handeling es."

"We've got more than we can handle down here, some got past us some how," Cyclops's voice came out next.

'Yeah I'll just bet,' Kerri thought as she lead the way down the hall, followed by the man and Wolverine carrying the two unconscious people. She paused to look around as Wolverine passed her to push the button for the elevator, and ran into a large man in a suit. Wolverine made it into the elevator, but she didn't, and he caught the door, opening it again.

She shifted to sweet mode, her voice coming out childlike and cute as she pleaded, "Please, mister, there's some bad men back there trying to hurt us." But he pulled a metallic gun and pointed it at her.

She backpedaled into the hall they'd come from, pushing the man back, thankfully not touching him with her bare skin. "Stay back, he's one of them!"

Wolverine looked out at her, agitation written on his face as he held the elevator. "Kid- Do what you need to," he told her as he caught the door again.

Kerri looked around the corner and shifted into her battle form, then stepped out, stretching her wings out to block the whole hallway. "Take him to the roof, I'll stall him," Kerri said as she wrapped her tail around the man, gritting her teeth through a scream and body flickering as she threw him into the elevator.

She looked up from the floor where she was now kneeling. She knew he probably wasn't happy with her, but one of them had to stay, and they'd need him on the roof, besides, he had two people on his shoulders, and she wouldn't be able to lift them by herself, so she stood as the doors closed and the elevator started going up.

"You're defenseless now," the suit said.

"Never," she answered with a cheeky smile.

He aimed the weapon at her and she dropped to the floor, rolling in a somersault into his legs, kicking him in the stomach to knocking him over. She jumped up and ran down a hallway yelling, "Catch me if you can!"

She ran through the maze of halls and ended up in a dead end of floor to ceiling windows. She kept running down the hall; the man was right behind her now.

As she was about to jump out of the window and shift to break the glass and fly away, the man got a shot off, hitting her in the back to propel her through the window with much less grace than she had intended. Another jolt of electricity flowed through her, stronger than the other ones, and glass shattered out around her as she started to fall through the air, unable to concentrate on shifting due to the pain.

Kurt was on the roof, keeping the men away from the helicopter so they could make their escape when Wolverine and Kerri got there.

His eyes darted to the door to the stairwell as it slammed open, but was glad to see Wolverine with two bodies over his shoulders and a strange man step out.

He expected to see Kerri next, but the door closed and didn't open again. "Vhere is Kerri?" He called out.

"Stayed behind, to let us get up here," Wolverine answered as he put the three ex- hostages on the helicopter.

Kurt's gut twisted, and his heart dropped as he heard glass shattering below them. He teleported over to the edge of the roof and looked down to see Kerri falling through the air, without wings.

He instantly teleported down and grabbed onto her as she fell, teleporting again to land on a shorter roof next to the hotel.

Kerri's mind was gone, taken away by self preservation.

She became aware of the roof under her back, she was laying there, and something was on top of her.

Her eyes opened and she saw Kurt- Nightcrawler, crouching over her, his chest almost against hers.

A panting breath came from her mouth as her body reacted, and she couldn't tell if the tingles were from residual electricity or from his almost touch against her body.

She was suddenly very aware of her body and it's wants, felt the want, the need, the desire, and for what made her blush. She was only glad that Nightcrawler was looking up at the other roof and away from her.

She pushed him away, leaping away and up into the air, battle form unfolding as she leaped over the edge, making his head turn to watch her running away from him, again.

She headed up to the roof, but a voice on the radio made her stop.

"Cyclops, we're ready to go, any time you are," Storm informed them.

"We're still swamped, need a little help getting out, here," he replied.

"On my way," Kerri said, as she headed down. She landed, turning and sweeping her tail, knocking an arc of baddies away.

She grabbed Beast with her arms and tail, leaping into the air with her wings outstretched. "I need help, I've only got room for one," she called over the radio.

"Got it, on my vay," Nightcrawler said, teleporting down and grabbing Cyclops. He teleported up, leaving a trail of puffs of smoke.

He got to the top and came back for Kerri, who looked like she was struggling with Beast. He landed on them and teleported them all up to the roof.

They carefully piled into the helicopter, and Nightcrawler tried to scoot over to make room for Kerri, but she stopped his hand as he almost touched the man she'd rescued. "Don't touch him, his programing's glitched," she said.

The electric tingles flowed up her arm at the touch. Her insides squirmed and her breasts suddenly felt a little tender.

The image of the scenario disappeared, and she all but leaped away, heading to the door.

Wolverine stepped next to Nightcrawler as Kerri ran for it. He sniffed the air pointedly. "See that, Elf?"

He looked over at him, "Vas?"

"It's the sight of a woman wanting," he told him, walking out through the door.

"A voman vhat?" Nightcrawler asked himself. "Vanting vas?"

Kerri laid in bed, turning over and over, her body still humming from Kurt's touch, wanting to be with him now...

Kurt stared out through the window, his hand was to his lips. Her face was stuck in his memory, the tingle as he'd touched her was still on his fingertips.

He wished he could be with her for the umpteenth time.

If only they had been in the same year...
