I wonder what Tony has planned. Oh wait I'm the writer… Well I know, but you don't.

Hope you enjoyed last chapter!

Things are now going to start heating up.

"We're not having this discussion now Fenrir. Go tell everybody else and have them be ready, if this goes downhill, I have a plan."

Tony was already reading the information based on the project named Phase 2. This was why he didn't trust Shield, they had another weapon of destruction in the making and they needed the Tesseract. He knew that the Tesseract couldn't go to back to Shield, yeah right they were trying to create self-sustaining clean energy. They want a weapon that could destroy any enemy.

He was alone in the lab Bruce still had another five minutes and Tony wanted to read before the other scientist came in. He knew he could've used his magic to hack into Shield, but he wanted them to know it was him, he still had a role to fill. It was only a matter of time before the Shield Agents realized what was occurring. One of the slide doors opened.

"I was expecting you to be earlier," Tony greeted Bruce with a smile.

"And here I was expecting you to be late," Bruce greeted back.

"Touché." They both chuckled. Bruce approached the tablet with Phase 2 information.

"What's this?"

"A weapon that they're trying to create with energy from the Tesseract. They don't want clean energy." Bruce hummed in agreement. Tony sat on the counter within the lab and flicked some more on the screen. He felt Loki's scepter behind him start to change in frequency, he heard a fan kick on. He picked his head up suddenly. "It's releasing energy."

"What?" Bruce quickly grabbed his gamma ray scanner and waved it around the scepter. "I'm not reading anything Tony."

'Damn.' He turned back to the tablet, but Fury took that moment to stroll on in.

"What do you think you're doing Mr. Stark?" He asked.

"Uh," he was taken by surprised, "I've kind of been wondering the same thing about you."

"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract."

"We are, the model's been locked and we're sweeping for the signature now," Bruce informed. "When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile." Tony gave Fury a smug look.

"See? You'll get your cube back, no muss, no fuss. But I have a tiny question, what is Phase 2?" He stared at the dark skinned man. Metal hitting metal brought Tony out of staring the man down. Rogers had placed a large gun on the examination table.

"Phase 2 is SHIELD uses the cube to make weapons," he said. He looked to Tony, "sorry the computer was running a little slow for me." Tony didn't mind he simply shrugged. Fury turned to Rogers.

"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're-"

"I'm sorry Nick." Tony pulled the tablet around and showed Fury and Rogers a missile schematic of Phase 2. "What were you lying?" Rogers glared at Fury.

"I was wrong director, the world hasn't changed a bit."

'You got that right.' The other side doors opened with Romanoff and Thor as they entered the room.

'It's a party.' Tony got a little uncomfortable as Thor looked at him. Bruce moved towards them and his body language suggested he was tense.

"Did you know about this?" Bruce asked Romanoff, Tony could feel the anger.

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, doctor?" She asked back. The air changed and Tony knew it was the scepter, his own magic was defending him, but not for long. He could sense his barriers coming down.

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty well removed," he sarcastically responded. She stepped forward her arms crossed on her chest, "Loki's manipulating you."

"And you've been doing what exactly?"

"You certainly didn't come here because I batted my eyelashes at you."

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy." He took his glasses off and grabbed the tablet roughly. He pointed at the screen with his glasses. "I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction!"

Fury sighed and pointed at Thor, "because of him."

'Bingo was Thor's name-o.'

"Me?" Thor pointed to himself.

"Last year Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone, but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."

"My people want nothing, but peace from your planet."

"Asgard isn't the only Realm out there Point Break," Tony spoke surprising most. "There are seven more and we know nothing about them. We don't know what they posses."

"Stark, for once is correct on that matter, but we needed the power here as well. There are others here on Earth that can't be matched. They can't be controlled."

"Like you controlled the cube?" Rogers was back with another piss match.

"You're work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is the signal to all the realms that the earth is ready for a higher form of war."

'Point Break is right about that.'

"A higher form?"

Fury turned to Thor, "you forced our hand, we had to come up with something." Tony felt the energy reach through his barriers finally.

"A nuclear deterrent, 'cause that always calms things down," Tony added sarcastically.

"Remind me again how you made your fortune Stark?"

"I'm sure if he was still making weapons Stark would be neck deep-" Steve started.

"Wait, wait hold on, how is this now about me?" Tony held his hand up almost as if he was shrugging.

"I'm sorry isn't everything?"

"I thought humans were more evolved than this," the God of Thunder spoke to Fury.

'Oh no, it's happening.'

"Excuse me, but did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?" Fury asked Thor. The scepter was releasing loads of energy and Tony could almost hear a dark laugh within it. Even though the energy was affecting him he pushed through it as he argued with Rogers.

"We're a time bomb." Bruce concluded.

"You need to step away," Fury commanded.

"Why shouldn't the guy let off some steam," Tony smirked putting his arm around Rogers's shoulders.

"You damn well why! Back off!" Rogers threw his arm away.

"Oh, I'm starting to want you make me."

"Big man in a suit of armor, take that off what are you?"

'Tony Lokison and damn well proud of it.'

"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist," he said instead.

"I know guys with none of that worth ten of you. I've seen the footage. The only one you really care for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you." The room suddenly got hot and it was hard to breathe.

'If you only really knew the real me, you'd be eating that comment.'

"I think I would just cut the wire."

"Always a way out," Rogers smiled. "You know, you may not be a threat, but you better stop pretending to be a hero."

"A hero? Like you? You're a lab rat, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle! Help created by my father!" Steve started to try and show off his muscles to make Tony realize who the alpha was. Tony snorted, he's played this game with men a lot stronger and bigger than Rogers. He stood still and took it, not breaking eye contact.

"Put on the suit, let's go a few rounds."

Thor's booming (pun intended) laughter filled the room.

"You people are so petty," his smile grew, "and tiny."

Tony's magic was pushing to release him from the scepters hold.

"Ms. Romanoff, would you escort Dr. Banner back to his-" Fury began.

"What? You already rented out my room," Bruce irritably interrupted.

"The cell was just-"

"In case you needed to kill me, which you can't, I know, I've tried." If everyone's wasn't looking at Bruce, they sure as hell were now. "I got low. I didn't see an end, so I put a bullet in my mouth, and the Other Guy spit it out."

'Bruce, no.'

Bruce looked down at his hands and then back up at his audience. "So I moved on, I focused on helping other people. I was good, but then you dragged me back into this freak show! You wanna know my secret? How I stay so calm?"

Finally Tony was able to push enough to say something.

"The scepter, it's manipulating us, stop," he ground out. Everyone looked at him as if he was crazy. He started to breath heavy and suddenly a switch was turned off and he could breathe freely. As he looked to the scepter he found it in Bruce's hands and Romanoff and Fury had their guns pointed right at him. "Bruce, put it back, now." He watched as Bruce shook his head in confusion and rubbed his eyes, but did what was told. The computer in the far right of the room started beating.

"If you don't mind," Bruce held his arms up and pointed to the computer. The guns were lowered and holstered. Bruce made his way to the computer and started to tap away on it until suddenly he picked his head up and looked at, "Tony, your T-"

And everything went to hell.

The room exploded and sent everyone through the floor.

Tony knew no more.

"Fenny, let's go check up on Uncle!" Tony whispered loudly.

"I think he's over at the oak tree," Fenrir whispered back in his wolf form.

"Then let's go!" The boys were on a mountain top far above the trees and Tony had never felt more alive. He could breathe easily here and not have a care in the world. Loki said when they were older, that he would put predators on the land and he and Fenrir could go hunting. Tony and Fenrir tried something different as they made their way down the slopes of the mountain, Tony was riding Fenrir. Fenrir knew the slopes as he was up here most of the time and Loki had to physically drag him away.

This way worked for the boys as they were down the terrain quicker. Fenrir had grown a lot and was now standing at Tony's shoulder. Tony himself was only eight years old now, but due to the land's timing issue, he looked to be about six. He should've been taller, but the land also stunted his growth, but not Fenrir's, as he was along the lines of being a God.

"We should do that more often," Tony told the wolf when they were below the trees.

"It could be of use later," Fenrir smiled his wolfish smirk.

The boys rushed thorough the land. They came upon the river, where Fenrir first changed into a human. Tony laughed, "I've got it." His hand was consumed with what would appear to be blue fire, but was really his magic. He waved his hand over the river and it froze. Tony smiled and his hand returned to normal.

"Come on Fen!" Tony ran across the frozen river, with Fenrir close behind him. Tony slipped on the ice and Fenrir caught him with his mouth. The black wolf held the back of Tony's shirt and carried him across the river. "Thanks Fen," he pet the wolf when they were across.

"Where would you be without me?" Fenrir smiled and tilted his head. Tony laughed.

"Probably living a life full of hell." Fenrir lost his smile. "Come on!" They went through a path that they carved that lead to the oak tree and when they found Loki, it was a peaceful sight. He was laying under the oak tree with a book in his lap. He appeared as he would any other day. Wearing a cloth shirt with leather bracers, belt, boots, and pants, but today was different. Today he was asleep. The boys snickered and nodded to one another.

They silently crept closer to Loki and when they didn't wake him up, they laid right next to him. They snuggled up to each side, Tony on his left and Fenrir on his right. They fell asleep.

When Loki woke up later he smiled, even some teeth were thrown in. But when he thought of the time he shook Tony awake.

"Anthony, it's time to wake up."

"Anthony." Tony heard Loki's voice. He moaned, not wanting to get up. "Anthony wake up."

"Stark!"

'Rogers?' Tony opened his eyes and everything was blurry and in slow motion.

"Stark! Are you with me?" Tony shook his head as he slowly woke up. His head was killing him, what- oh right the explosion. He looked at Rogers who had concern on his face. "Put on the suit."

"Yup," Tony agreed with him. As he ran the corridors he heard Bruce's last sentence before the explosion. 'Tony, your T-' T, what started with a T. No it couldn't be.

'That son of a bitch.' He knew where the Tesseract was being taken, his damn Tower. He rushed into the hull where his suit was and heard a roar. 'Bruce!' He made a decision right there, he had to stop the Tesseract and Loki at the same time.

Time. He needed time.

He focused on himself and a blast of wind had him open his eyes to see, well him. He created a clone of himself.

"You know what to do right?" The real Tony asked his clone.

"Yes sir, act the part of you, which isn't hard cause we're the same," the clone responded.

"Take the suit then and don't get hit physically, as long as you're in the suit, you should be fine." The clone nodded and Tony saw his Tower in his mind and he was gone.

Next thing he knew, he was in his lab with Fenrir lounging.

"I was wondering when you were going to get here," Fenrir greeted.

"Yes well I was just in an explosion."

"I can tell, you smell horrible."

"Oh good, I thought your sniffer was broken." He walked straight to the computer and pulled up surveillance. "Selvig is here and setting things up on my roof, how did he get the access?"

"That? I have no clue, but he's still under Father's control." Fenrir looked at Tony. "What do you want to do?"

"Well, we'll be fighting an army."

"I like those odds," he laughed.

"Jarvis?"

"Yes sir?" The AI responded.

"Get Mark VII ready."

"Of course sir, what else would you have me do?"

"Turn off the Arc Reactor, its game time."
