TAKERU POV

"Her very existence created the distortion of this world"

I suddenly wake up from my sleep. It's been about 3 days since I separate from my friends. When I go to the river to freshen up, I wondering the sentence that I keep hear in my dream.

Her very existence created the distortion of this world

'Whose existence?'

I feel uneasiness deep inside my heart. This meant trouble..

"TAKERU!"

I turn and I saw Patamon flies toward me but that was not all, what make me stunned was I saw the crest in his paw is glowing.

"The crest! She was nearby!"

In other part of the forest, Sakura and Pawamon search for some fruit to eat.

"Ne Sakura? When should we meet Gennai?" ask Pawamon.

"Saa ne..." Reply Sakura.

Suddenly Sakura hear the wave.

'Ne Pawamon, is there a beach nearby?"

"What are you talking about, Sakura? We're in the middle of the forest." Suddenly Pawamon stop as she saw Sakura suddenly fall on her knees. She quickly near her.

"Resist it, Sakura! I'm here!" Yell Pawamon as Sakura hold her head tight. She hear someone talking to her.

"We use to be friend, dream..."

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?"

"Don't be scare, Dream,,,"

"Who's Dream? Please... don't do this..."

Suddenly her digivice bursting into purple light and Takeru appears out of nowhere. Seeing that Sakura is on her knees, Takeru quickly near her.

"Are you ok?"

Sensing that the strange voice isn't talking to her anymore, Sakura hesitantly open her eyes. When she saw Takeru in front of her, she quickly prepares to run again but was stopped by Takeru.

"Don't run. Please don't run. I'm not an enemy. I'll not hurt you." tell Takeru as he holds her hand tightly as if he doesn't want her to run away. He still hasn't recovered from the shock when he saw her face. Her long golden hair gracefully fall behind her back, her oceanic blue eyes match his and his brother and there were a hint of loneliness and scare of something make him eager to pull her into a hug to comfort her.

"Are you ok?" Takeru ask her again, seeing that she remain silence.

Sakura sensing that she couldn't break his grip slowly sitting beside him, while Patamon and Pawamon stare at each other curiously.

"Do I know you?" their digimons ask to each other simultaneously.

Takeru just let Sakura calm down a bit as he look at their digimons chat. Both of them remain at that position for a while.

"Do you hungry?" ask Takeru suddenly. Sakura just nod her head slowly as she gaze at her hand that being hold by Takeru's.

"Ahh... gomen..." say Takeru as he releases his grip. Sakura just shakes her head as she couldn't help but wonder why it felt so familiar and nostalgic.

Feeling a bit awkward, Takeru quickly stand stands up and offer a hand to Sakura. Sakura slowly grabs his hand.

"Thanks... Um..."

"Takeru. I'm Takeru."

"Thanks Takeru... kun." Say Sakura slowly with a small smile on her face, but then she struck with a bit of confusion.

"What's wrong, Sakura?"

"Nothing. It's nothing. How do you know my name?"

"It's a long story. I'll tell you later."

Decide to let it be, Takeru slowly lead Sakura to find the nearest river, without let go of her hand again.

After they had filled their stomach and freshen up, Takeru wondering if they should rejoin with the other or not and suddenly their digimon fell on the ground.

"Patamon!"

"Pawamon!"

"I felt sleepy," say Patamon as he dozes off.

Takeru quickly look at the other pair and saw Pawamon also in the same condition as Patamon.

Wondering what's going on, suddenly they being attack.

As Takeru open his eyes, he realise that he is lying on the ground. Takeru could feel pain all over his body especially on his forehead since he hit his head on the rock due to the attack and he saw Sakura lying motionless on the ground, hurt.

"Sa.. ku.. ra.." say Takeru slowly as he tries to reach her.

"Well well well, what do we have here? If it isn't the child of Hope and Dream. You should not let your guard down, you know."

Takeru look at the unfamiliar being cover with a hood and sense malicious from that being. Ignoring the pain, Takeru quickly dash toward Sakura.

"Who are you and why did you attack us?" ask Takeru.

"I wonder, should I tell you? Even if I didn't tell you, sooner or later you will figure it out by yourself."

"What do you mean? Wait, Patamon. What did you do to them?"

"Relax. I just put some sleeping spell on them before I attack you."

"Why" say Takeru as his body almost stumble as the pain is too much for him.

"Enough talking. It's time for you to go to sleep." Say that being as he touches the wound on Takeru's forehead.

Takeru felt pain and dizzy through his head and his legs paralyse. He fell on his knees.

"Opps... Sorry. Does it hurt? Sweet dream, Hope."

The next thing he knew is he collapse on the ground and his vision blur until he blackens out.
