Ron thinks you're some kind of devil and Harry and Hermione just don't like you.

Lee doesn't really care.

George pretty much just trusts you because I do.

Dumbledore said that you had a family issue and was unsure of when you might return and that you'd be finishing school in America.

Nico shook his head in a slightly fond way. The owl Fred sent was beautiful and seemed to like Nico quite a bit which was weird.

Animals didn't like Nico, he radiated death and scared everyone. Not to mention the owl was a mark of Athena and Athena sure didn't like Nico. But then again people didn't like Nico either, but Fred did. Maybe Fred and his owl weren't all that different.

Still better than Percy's, though I don't think he's hard to beat.

I'll be honest with you and tell you something I haven't told too many people. Just the people closest to me, and one blonde idiot.

Percy was my first crush or love or whatever.

I was ten when I met him.

Gods, I thought he was the coolest thing ever.

I was a super annoying kid but Percy totally didn't mind, if anything he was fond of it in a weird kind of way.

Then he told me something that really upset me.

It made me so angry at him.

I wanted to hurt him.

I even wished him dead.

It wasn't really his fault even if we both (at the time) felt it was.

That day was also the day I found out who my father is.

I wish I could go back to that day and erase myself from it.

Maybe kill myself before I got the bad news.

Moving on.

I pretty much threw a huge deathly temper tantrum.

Percy and I became somewhat friends.

I started to grow feelings for him.

It was the weirdest thing for me at the time.

I'd never liked anyone before.

Certainly not a boy.

I helped Percy as much as I could while he was going through some tough things.

Both with and without his knowledge, I grew to like him more and I drew in on myself more.

Then he started to date this girl.

I kind of always knew it would happen.

Anyway I've already told you a ton so I'll uh get to the point and leave out the rest.

My, um, friend (?) Jason found out how I felt about Percy and he pushed me into telling him. So I told Percy and his girlfriend.

Of course Percy didn't like me back, but I always knew that.

But he and Annabeth were so nice about it, they made me feel accepted and even loved. even if it was just for a little while it was nice.

Other than my sister and Andi, they're my two closest friends.

Sorry for rambling you probably didn't want to hear all of this, but it's in ink and I don't want to waste the paper by rewriting.

Nico

Nico stared down at the note in his hand. Nico very much wanted to get to know Fred and wanted Fred to know him but with Nico not being there he was never sure when that would happen. Nico wasn't going to tell Fred any of his huge secrets just simple things so he was opening up without telling his like story. He wasn't sure how ready he was to be open with someone yet, these kinds of things scared Nico. It seemed as though everyone he cared about was ripped away with him. Nico handed it to the owl and fed the bird before it flew away leaving Nico alone with his thoughts. Nico try not to think about what he wrote in the letter.

Nico was staying at a mortal inn just outside of London. It was getting dark so he would need to get out and start finding a good place to summon a demon. Nico had decided that this was too important and he needed someone he was sure would find her. Nico had shadow traveled a couple days ago to his old cabin and gotten one of her shirts to give to the demon so he'd have a scent to go off of.

Nico pulled on his black hoodie and flipped up the hood before walking out into the night.

*Fred's Point Of View*

- A Week Later

Fred was sitting on the windowsill in the common room. Nico's letter was lying on his lap, he'd gotten it at breakfast but didn't have a chance to read it till now.

"What is that?" Angela asked as she and Katie sat down across from George and Lee.

"Letter from Nico." George answered. "Gets one every week, or will." George winked at Fred and Fred rolled his eyes and smiled.

"That kid that left a couple weeks ago."

"Yeah, he's cool."

"Fred's in love." George jumped in. Fred laughed.

"Oh, totally."

"I mean you did aim a bludger at Malfoy's face for him."

"He had his wand out behind his back! What a wimp move!" They all laughed and Fred turned back to the letter, toning out his friends to read.

He smiled when he finished glad Nico trusted him. Fred pulled out parchment, quill, and ink then began to write to Nico. He told Nico he was happy Nico liked his joke and then he began to tell Nico about his family how he has three other brothers and Ginny is his only sister. He told Nico about his mother and how much he loved her, even if he and George did mess with her a bit too much.

He explained his and George's relationship to Nico in depth, telling him how close they really were. Fred told Nico a funny story about a prank he, George, Bill and Charlie played on Percy and Ron when they were younger. He told Nico about the pranks that Bill and Charlie would pull on him and George. Fred also told Nico about how much he loved Ginny and how he knew she was strong and didn't need him to look out for her but he was still super protective of her.

When Fred was done it was four pages long. Fred finished off with sighing it 'Lots of Love, Fred' with a winky smiley face next to him.

*Nico's Point Of View*

A tall misshapen form began to grow from the shadows, Nico stopped chanting and stared at the shadows as they formed a huge demon of the earth.

"Sir." The demon knelt.

"Uh, you don't need to do that." Nico said. The demon stood.

"How may I be of service?"

"I want you to help me track down another demon." Nico held up her shirt. "What's your name?" Nico asked eyeing the large beast.

He had a slightly green tint to his skin, his hair was dark messy brown, his eyes were a sandy color pupils the color of moss, he had a hard jazz and chiseled features, his wings were huge even while just folded in on themselves and they were the color of an oak trees leaves, his tail didn't flick around cutely like Andi's did or really show any emotion. It was black with a fluffy sandy colored end, it just dragged on the ground behind the demon. Nico wasn't really sure he could trust this demon, seeing as not too long ago he had a run-in with the earth goddess and it didn't really go all that well. He took the shirt slowly from Nico's hands as he answered Nico's question.

"Bion." The demon held up the shirt and sniffed. Nico stared at his hands. They were large and skinny, his nails were long dark and pointed at the end. Nico shivered.

"Why do you want to find her?" Nico's eyes narrowed. "I didn't say it was a female." he pointed out.

"Do you know her?"

"Yes. How do you know her?"

"A friend." Nico raised his eyebrows at him waiting.

"A friend." The demon responded in an irritated tone. Nico gritted his teeth and glared.

"We'll talk about this later." Nico warned. Nico turned on his heel and started walking away, knowing the demon would follow.

"What is that?" Nico jumped slightly at the sound of the demon's voice, it was deep and commanding. Nico didn't like it, it was annoying.

Nico looked down at the letter in his hand. It was four pages long and Nico was only on the second. But it made him smile, Fred took all the time to write Nico full stories and told him about his whole family. It was really very sweet. But Nico was a bit scared to write back, he didn't like opening up to people. What would he say? Nico looked over at the demon pushing aside his thoughts. Nico was sitting on the bed and Bion was sitting on the desk chair.

"A letter," Nico said simply before going back to reading it.

"Are you the reason Andromeda is never in the underworld? Where she should be, doing her job."

Nico sighed, very annoyed the demon was pulling him away from one of Fred's funny stories and that he was question or talking to Nico at all. Of all the demons I could have summoned!

"I don't control her. I just happen to know her."

"You're the kid she's always talking about. Shows her all the things of the world above. The world we only are allowed to involve ourselves in when he need to do our jobs."

"I don't control Andi! I just show her what she asks about! Not my fault you all are so boring she needs me to entertain her!"

"Once we find her I will forbid her from coming here, forbid her from you."

"You have no right." Nico snapped.

"I am her fiance! I have every right!" Nico's eyes flashed in surprise but he tried not to show it.

"Do you know who I am?! Well of course you do!" Nico snapped. "I rule all of you, it's best you don't get on my bad side!" he leapt up at the same time Bion did.

Bion might have been big but Nico was powerful. "I can control you all I want." Nico sneered at him.

"Kneel." He growled and Bion glared at him harshly as he went down on one knee, head bowed. Nico smirked. "Good. Now you know your place." Nico generally didn't like to 'rule' people. He was always pretty nice – or as nice as a child of Hades can be – to ghosts and his skeleton warriors, but this guy made Nico so angry he had half a mind to pick up his sword and send him back to the underworld. The only reason Nico didn't pick up his sword and send the demon tartrus was because he was Andromeda's 'fiance' he had to know if that was true and if she even liked this huge jerk. Nico wasn't really sure what the laws were for demon marriage. He needed to find Andromeda quick, and get her away from this massive asshole. Nico sat down on bed taking deep breaths to calm down. Then he picked up Fred's letter, hoping reading it would make his night a little better.
