Chapter 13

Paige joined her sisters at the dinner table knowing that they would try again to convince her not to leave. Billie hadn't shown up. Prue joined them last saying she had some business to take care of. Prue contemplated when she would bring out the bracelet. She decided before anyone spoke.

"Paige, you know-," but Prue cut Piper off.

"Jonas wanted me to give this to you," she said tossing the bracelet carelessly on the table towards Paige, "He wants you to wear it when you meet him again." The whole table was silent as Paige picked up the bracelet. It took her a second to realize why the bracelet was important. She then dropped it as if the metal had burned her. The bracelet was loud as it landed on the table and Prue smiled inside as she saw her plan working. Unknown to Paige, the bracelet was debunk.

"Paige!" Piper said gasping as she saw Paige pick the bracelet up and slip it on. Prue's eyes widened.

"Surprised Prue? Thought I'd give up that easy?" she said her eyes narrowing.

"Paige," Prue sighed, "Don't you see you are giving up? Let me go with you."

"No, the note clearly says that you can't come." Prue glamoured to look like Billie.

"What about now?"

"No! He'll be able to see through your glamour Prue."

"He's weaker than before, he probably won't be able to." Paige sighed angrily.

"It's been weeks since I've seen him, he gets really strong really fast. If he gets tired of waiting he'll kill Henry."

"How do you know he won't kill you both?" Prue asked. Paige didn't sat anything and Prue grabbed her hand. She slipped off the bracelet.

"It doesn't work," Prue said and she heard Piper sigh with relief.

"I have to do this alone," Paige said, "I can't put you in danger again."

"Paige," Prue sighed frustratingly.

"Prue, the last time you went up against Jonas you died!" Paige said her voice rising.

"He can only kill me with a darklighter! Let me come with you!" This argument lasted several more hours. The two that spoke most of the time were Prue and Paige. Piper and Phoebe piped in a few times. They knew though that if anyone was to convince Paige to go with someone it was Prue. The grandfather clock chimed midnight but the two sisters continued arguing.

Phoebe, too exhausted to continue listening shouted at the two. She told them to continue in the morning, after everyone had rested. Prue brought up the point of Paige orbing away when they were all asleep. Piper then suggested an anti- orbing spell. Phoebe, unknown to Paige, had written one when they first found her several years ago. Paige, upon finding out this information looked visibly crushed.

"I wrote it in case of protection," Phoebe said honestly, "Please understand." But Paige didn't respond.

"I also knew, that if Leo and I were to have children we would need this spell," Piper said, "It wasn't just for your sake." Paige's face softened a bit with this new information but she was still upset with Phoebe. The spell was cast and Phoebe returned to her apartment, as did Paige.

The following morning was quiet. Prue had stayed up a little later to plan on how to convince Paige to have her join her when she returned to the Underworld. Paige hadn't stayed up any later, but Piper had. While Phoebe and Prue were getting ready Piper pulled Paige into the kitchen.

"Paige, if you don't tell them I will," she said, "You are not going to the Underworld alone, if at all. Phoebe and I can get Henry while you stay safe here."

"Piper, this isn't your battle," she said.

"Damn right it's not," she said, "I fought him too, remember? Besides, I'm not going to let him take my baby sister. It is my job to protect you. So your battles are mine as well! Plus, we're the Charmed Ones. We deal with demons together, not alone!" Paige only scowled at Piper as she heard Phoebe and Prue's footsteps on the stairs as they came down.

There was silence at the dining room table. Prue finally spoke up.

"I have a proposition," she said, "I'll come with you glamoured as Billie and when you find Jonas. I'll grab Henry and we both orb out."

"I can't take that risk. What if he kills Henry?"

"What if he kills you?" Prue asked, "Paige, none of us want to lose you."

"I don't want to die, Prue," Paige said, "Trust me, I don't. That's the last thing I want to do."

"You're giving yourself up to Jonas! You're going to die," Prue said.

"I'm not going to let him kill me," she said not saying she was going to do it herself.

"Paige, tell them or I will," Piper said choosing this moment to bring up her pregnancy.

"Now isn't the time," Paige said.

"Isn't the time?! You're about to go to the Underworld alone! Now is definitely the time!"

"What are you talking about?" Prue asked and Phoebe looked between Piper and Paige and gasped. Piper then froze Prue just as Phoebe exclaimed Paige was pregnant. She then struggled to find words. Paige spoke up saying she didn't have to say anything. Phoebe's eyes widened and she nearly started to yell at her baby sister but she stopped. She then asked how far along Paige was.

"A little over three months," Piper said softly when Paige didn't reply, "I've known for a few days. I wasn't going to let her go back." Phoebe didn't say anything to her older sister but turned to look at Paige. Realization came crashing down around her. Her baby sister had known she was pregnant before she went to the Underworld. She still wanted to go back. Because of Henry. Because she feared she'd have to raise the baby alone.

"Paige, you aren't alone in this," Phoebe said glancing over at Prue to make sure she was still frozen.

"You have all of us, and Prue," she said. Paige opened her mouth but closed it quickly. Then she did something Phoebe wasn't expecting, she started struggled not to sob.

"Sorry, hormones. I know you're here, but I can't do this without Henry. He's their dad," she said choking back any attempts of sobbing.

"We're going to get Henry back Paige, you don't have to sacrifice yourself," Phoebe said, "We'll vanquish Jonas just like we did with the Source, Barbas, and the Triad." Paige wiped away her tears.

"I'm doing this alone," Paige said just as Prue unfroze.

"Why did you just freeze me?" Prue asked sternly. Phoebe told Prue Paige's secret. Her jaw dropped.

"You aren't going to the Underworld, no way in Hell," Prue said sternly to Paige as if she was a child. Paige's eyes narrowed.

"You don't get it Prue. He has my husband," Paige said, "Jonas clearly stated that I had to come without my sisters."

"Let me glamour as Billie," Prue said, "Let me at least try to keep you safe!"

"He could kill Henry, Prue," Paige said, "I can't take the risk."

"You took a risk going down to the Underworld while you were pregnant! Paige, I'm your sister, I'm going to help you whether you like it or not." And then she left the room. The three remaining sisters sat in silence. Paige desperately wanted to orb out but that power was bound. She pushed her chair back and announced she was going out for a drive.

After several hours Paige called the Manor. She left a message stating she was going to visit her aunt and uncle. Slowly three days passed at the Manor. None of the sisters could get a hold of Paige. Prue eventually orbed to her youngest sister. She was in a hotel room packing a bag.

"Prue! What are you doing here?" she asked shocked and annoyed her eldest sister had shown up.

"We haven't been able to get a hold of you for three days," Prue stated, "We were worried."

"I was visiting family," Paige said, "And now I'm leaving. I'm coming back home, but I'm returning to the Underworld."

"Paige, you are not-," but Paige cut her off.

"Yes I am," she snapped then lightly said with a smile, "And you are coming with me."
