Chapter 13: War Is Upon Us Part 1
"YOU!" Tidus growled in anger as he glared daggers at Serah and pointed his finger right in her face.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PULLED A STUPID STUNT LIKE THAT ON US! I COULD KICK YOUR ASS!" Terra continued after Tidus as she stumped her foot.
"What do you have to say for yourself?" Takashi asked with a dark aura surrounding his large form as Jugo stood next to him emitting a dangerous aura of his own.
"I'M SORRY!" Serah sobbed as she collided with Takashi and Jugo, holding them both in a death grip.
"Are you really sorry?" Tidus asked.
"Yes." Serah answered.
"Are you sure you're really sorry?!" Takashi, Tidus, Jugo, and Terra questioned her in unison.
"YES, I'M REALLY SORRY!" Serah yelled back with a pout on her face.
"Alright, we forgive you." Terra gave in after receiving approval from the others. "However, if you even think about breaking anymore rules we'll be the ones you'll have to face for your punishment." Terra continued as the four of them grinned down at her menacingly.
"I can accept those terms." Serah said as she shrinked back in fear.
"Good." Takashi, Tidus, Jugo, and Terra responded with large smiles and gave her a group hug.
"You also have heard my punishment for your actions. Now, get to it." Sinbad commanded as he folded his arms over his chest while giving Serah a stern look.
"I understand. Goodnight guys, I'll tell you about all of the news in the morning." Serah stated with a small smile as she walked away from her friends and headed off with Ja'far.
"I wonder what Sinbad has planned for her?" Terra wondered as she saw the mischievous grin that was plastered on the Sindrian King's face.
"Who knows, but it's obvious that she has no idea what's in for her." Takashi stated with a grim look on his face.
~One Hour Later~
"You have to be kidding me?" Serah questioned as she covered her face in horror. "Do I have to fix all of this by myself?" Serah continued as Ja'far stood next to her calmly.
"Yes, you do. You will only be allowed to have help once you have finished at least half of the mess in this room, the same goes for the other three rooms." Ja'far stated without a hint of compassion or pity for her.
"The other three?!" Serah groaned as she slid to the floor in defeat.
"Stop that, this is what you deserve for your actions. Maybe this will stop you from causing so much trouble." Ja'far said without another word as he walked off with a wave of his hand.
"You can bet your ass that I will." Serah retorted as she dragged herself into the room full of old scrolls and began to fix things up.
~That Afternoon~
"I'm done!" Serah yelled in exhaustion as she burst into her father's room and dived onto his bed with a deep sigh.
"I can see that, but did you have to come all the way here to tell me that?" Sinbad asked with a small frown as he wiped the sleep from his eyes.
Although, Serah had already fallen asleep soundly next to him as she hugged one of his pillows. Sinbad smiled down at her as he spotted the slightly dark bags under her eyes. With a shake of his head, he slid her body under the covers.
"Goodnight, Serah." Sinbad whispered as sleep took over him.
I know that this chapter is very short, but this is the best I could do with all the time I had. As you all have noticed, I haven't been able to update as much because of my school work. My math classes require all of my attention, but the good news is that I am almost finished with my last one. I will be updating the story soon, but for now enjoy this little teaser until I do. Again, sorry for the long wait.
