Author's note: Here it is! The end! So, enjoy and thanks for all the lovely reviews along the way 3

Beast Boy had to wait two days before he could ask Raven out. Not because he didn't want to, he really did, but a recent crime wave had started so the team was busy. The regular system of having two people on constant patrols was back, so when he found out that he was paired with Raven one night, he got really excited. It seemed like the perfect to time ask her. They had been trying to talk when they were at home, but the other three weren't good at keeping their attempts at eavesdropping hidden. Some superheroes they were.

After they had been given the area they would be patrolling, Raven and he flew out. Hopefully they wouldn't have to arrest anyone, but they couldn't count on it. Just yesterday, Cyborg and Robin had to take in over ten people. As they started observing the street, Beast Boy started to gather up his courage.

"So, are you free tomorrow?" Beast Boy wished it came out as smooth as it did in his head, but it came out sounding rushed instead. Raven couldn't help but chuckle at him. It was so easy for Beast Boy to get flustered while talking.

"I think I can clear off space in my busy social life." Raven glowed when that made her friend laugh. "So, where are we going?" Beast Boy smirked at her as they started moving down the road.

"Well, it's a place."

"That's a good thing. In town?"

"Yes."

"Have I ever been there?" Beast Boy shook his head.

"Nope, but it's something I think you'll enjoy." Raven raised an eyebrow, but Beast Boy wouldn't tell her anymore about it. She couldn't help but get excited. A second date meant that they might actually have a chance to finish the outing.

The patrol went smoothly. Robin called them to alert them to a small incident on the other end of the city, but they had it covered. When it was time to head back, Beast Boy convinced her to race back to the tower. Surprisingly enough, he won, and Raven wasn't mad about it. None of their friends were home, so they both were quick to take advantage of the alone time.

"We could pick up the portrait thing." Raven said as she kicked off her shoes. They hadn't touch the drawing subject for a week or so since the date.

"Sure, you want to do it here, or one of our rooms?" Raven shrugged.

"Here is fine. I think we got a few hours before they come back home." Beast Boy went off to get the stuff and Raven checked the messages on her communicator. Cyborg had decided to spend the rest of the afternoon out, and Robin and Starfire were still on patrol.

"Alright, I got everything." Beast Boy frowned at some of the stuff in his arms. "When did I even buy some of these things?" Raven chuckled at the statement.

"Could be the gremlins."

"You've seen that movie?" Raven put her hands on her hips and gave Beast Boy a pointed look.

"Beast Boy, you forced me to sit through and watch that movie. Twice. I don't think I'll forget it." The changeling was always managing to get her to stay and watch whatever movie was on. The worst one, and they could both agree on this, was Troll 2. Since then, whenever they saw a paper bag, they both lost it. Surprisingly, it was the first inside joke to develop between them. "So, are you all set?" Raven was hopping she could sneak a look at the drawing.

"Yep. Pick a spot and we can get started." Raven got comfortable and flipped through a book like she did last time. Beast Boy would comment occasionally, but she still couldn't see anything on the drawing pad. Finally, the curiosity got the best of her. Raven shut her book and shifted on the couch so she was facing him.

"Can I see it?" Beast Boy halted what he was doing.

"It's not done yet. That's not the point of showing a drawing. You want to see the full, finished product."

"I don't care about that. I've never even seen you draw."

Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Raven tried to grab the pad out of Beast Boy's grip. The changeling, expecting this, held it away from her. What neither of them plan on was for gravity to do the rest. See, Raven was balancing all her weight forward. Beast Boy was leaning backwards. And the cushions on the couch were already slanted. Raven was keenly aware of being in control one moment, and then she and Beast Boy were tumbling to the floor. In a mess of limbs and hair, Raven found herself in quite the position.

Took keep her from hitting her head on the coffee table, Beast Boy reached his arms out to break her fall. And his hands were pretty close to her… ahem… upper bits. Not that she was in any better situation; one wrong move and she would be apologizing to her male friend. Her legs had gotten tangled with his, so her knee was close to a very sensitive male organ. Both of them were blushing bright red and couldn't seem to find the words to use. It might have been attributed to this that led to what happened next.

Raven leaned in and pressed her lips to his. Both of them remained still for a moment before Beast Boy pushed back. Raven could feel herself smiling and when they broke the kiss, the blushes hadn't gone down at all.

"So, is that how you get all the guys to kiss you? By toppling them off the couch?" They moved their limbs around and ended up curling up on the floor. They were glowing from all the giddy feelings and Raven was surprised that nothing had exploded yet.

"Only the really cute ones." Beast Boy hugged her tighter. Raven chuckled.

Raven didn't known what they were supposed to do after this. Was there a big speech that they had to give one another? Raven knew that neither of them were big on speeches, but she felt like she had to do something to get the moment moving along.

"So, where's this big date going to take place?" Beast Boy shook his head.

"Nope. Not telling." He rolled his head onto her shoulder. "Does this mean I can kiss you on this date as well? Or did I already use up my chance?" Raven heaved out a sigh at his teasing.

"Yes, Beast Boy. I only planned on kissing you once this entire time." Deciding to try out a few things, and step out of her comfort zone, she batted her eyelashes at the changeling. "But, I might let you do it again if you give me a hint about where we're going." Beast Boy shook his head.

"If I tell you anything, it'll give it away." Beast Boy turned on the puppy dog eyes. "Come on, Rae, I put a lot of thought into this. I think you'll really like it. Just, wait until tomorrow, ok? It'll be worth it."

Raven wanted to keep teasing him, but she could tell that he was sincere. Beast Boy took a lot of pride in the gifts he gave to them, so if he was telling her it would be better to wait, then she would try and be patient. The key word being try. They ended up back on the couch, curling up together, and Raven actually got to see how the picture was coming along. There was still a lot of parts that needed to be filled out, and some of the lines hadn't been erased yet. Raven was pretty impressed.

"It still needs a lot of work, so don't look so happy." Beast Boy worked on making sure some of the lines were in the correct place. Raven bumped his shoulder.

"Don't be so modest. It looks great, really. You could draw me a stick figure and I would be thrilled." Her friend pointed his pencil at her.

"We don't bring up stick figures here. I've had plenty of those after dealing with Robin. God, I never thought I would want to stab someone with a pencil as much as I did when I was with him." Beast Boy grumbled. Raven laughed and rested her head on his shoulder as she watched him fill in the drawing of her. There was an ease to him as he finished it. Honestly, if Raven wasn't directly touching him, she was willing to bet that Beast Boy had no clue that she was there. Feeling something, an emotion she would try and name later, Raven pressed another light peck to his cheek.

She couldn't wait for tomorrow.

Like he said, Raven did enjoy the idea Beast Boy had for her. There was a little book fair in town, nothing over the top, and it had everything that she found enjoyment in. When Beast Boy told her that he had found the announcement for this in the paper, Raven had been surprised. Each booth had a different genre of book, and by the end of the day, Raven found herself with several bags, all being carried by Beast Boy, filled with new novels to read. She had even gotten to meet a few authors; honestly, she hadn't even thought that Beast Boy would do something like this for her. When it started getting late, Raven was sad to leave their, thankfully uninterrupted, date.

"Do you think that the others are waiting up for us?" Raven wouldn't put it past them. Beast Boy shrugged.

"I think Cyborg was planning on staying up. Starfire probably bullied Robin into it. I think we should just expect to be ambushed, Rae." That was another thing she had noticed. The nickname was coming out a bit more. Whether that was due to their new relationship or because Beast Boy wasn't scared of her, she wasn't sure.

"Geez, I feel like this is payback for all those times we teased Robin and Starfire."

"At least Cyborg's not dating yet."

They decided to linger in the elevator for a bit longer to starve off the inevitable questions. Raven tapped her fingers on her leg and Beast Boy rocked on the balls of his feet.

"So, how many bets do you think finished today?" Beast Boy asked. Raven rolled her eyes.

"We could have rigged them all. It would have been so easy." The changeling nodded.

"True, but we still wouldn't see any of the cash. Which is fine, because I've got you." Raven let out a groan.

"Oh, not the puns. We were doing so well." Beast Boy knew she wasn't mad. She knew that the green boy wouldn't be complete without throwing in one joke.

"We should go out there." Beast Boy tilted his head at her.

"Or, we could stay here and ignore them. I don't think you're in a rush to be asked a million questions." Raven knew she was getting off easy; Robin and Cyborg were much nosier. Raven sat down on the ground and patted the spot next to her.

"Well, come on. Might as well get comfortable if we're running from our problems." Like yesterday, they curled into each other. Raven sighed in contentment.

"I had a really nice time today."

"Did you have a good enough time for me to ask you out again?" That blush was back and Raven was right; it was becoming one of her favorite things. Raven thought for a moment before giving him a smile.

"I think we can do this again. It's my turn, though."

"Do I get a hint?"

"No! You didn't give me one."

"Because it would have given it away." Raven shook her head.

"Nope, not happening." She leaned into him. "But, I think I want to do something else, boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?"

"Mm-hm. Now, get over here. I want to kiss you again."

This time, when there was a magic outburst, the others didn't bother to check on them. Everything had finally fallen into place.
