Hinata awoke from the sunlight settling on her face. Her eyes blinked a few times before they came into focus. She stared at the ceiling and smiled. Today was Saturday and she felt somehow refreshed. Hinata leaned up and stretched her arms above her head. She looked out the window and was greeted by a cool breeze. Fall was starting to approach and she would soon have to start putting on heavier clothing. Hinata loved the winter. Not because of her birthday but because the snow seemed to fall so beautifully. The snow had reminded her of little stars falling from the sky.

She stood from her bed and walked to the bathroom. Her cat rubbed against her leg and she realized that she hadn't paid any attention to the little creature. She scooped the purring animal into her arms and scratched its back. She walked into the kitchen and poured food into the bowl of her pet. She then entered the bathroom for a shower and to brush her teeth. Just as she was just put her tooth brush away, a loud knock on the door entered her ears. The first name that entered her mind was the male that she hadn't seen yesterday. She ran there and opened up without asking who.

What she saw wasn't Sasuke but instead a female. Her hair tied into two buns and she wore baggy sweats, a shirt that wrote "Fight On" with regular black and white converse. Hinata didn't realize she wore a frown to which the female laughed at.

"Not who you were expecting Hinata?" Tenten asked as she crossed her arms. Hinata blushed and shook her head.

"N-No, it's n-not like that!" Hinata tried to explain but stopped her rambling before it could get progressively worse. Tenten pinched the young woman's cheeks and grinned.

"I haven't been here for two weeks and you're already disappointed with my presence," Tenten mocked sadness and shook her head. Hinata smiled and allowed the woman entrance into their home. Tenten sat down on the couch with a content smile. Hinata sat in the seat opposite of her and returned the smile.

"Never, go away for two weeks. When you come back everything's different. People are married and others are divorced. Aish, life is revolved around others," Tenten complained and Hinata giggled.

"How was training?" Hinata asked as she stood to make some tea and coffee. Tenten groaned and placed a hand on her eyes.

"I don't even want to think about it. Training with that bastard Guy, is a living hell. How can such an old man have such energy?" Tenten asked as she stood up and walked into the kitchen. Hinata smiled and watched as a mischievous grin arose on Tenten's face.

"You seem stressed. Do you have boy problems Hinata? Because you can always come to good old Tenten for help y'know," The brunette reminded the young woman whose face turned on fire.

"N-no! There are no problems. A boy is just interested in me is all." Hinata explained as she patted her enflamed cheeks. Tenten smirked and leaned against the refrigerator.

"Who is he? Does Karin or me know him?" Tenten asked as she wiggled her eyebrows. Hinata shook her head and fidgeted with her fingers. Sasuke's smirking face flashed in her mind and she pouted. If the male was here at this moment she was almost one hundred percent certain that he would be making smirks at her. Tenten noticed the small smile on the female's face and placed her in a headlock.

"You like him don't cha Hinata? C'mon tell me or I won't let go," Tenten threatened and Hinata fought against her.

"I don't like him," Hinata announced and Tenten tightened her grip.

"Lies! Just by your face I can tell you like him," Tenten objected and Hinata licked her friend's arm.

"That doesn't work against me, Hinata. So tell me," Tenten said and Hinata pouted. Just as she was about to answer, a knock at the door came. Tenten stopped laughing and Hinata stopped struggling. The kettle went off and Tenten sighed.

"Fun's over for now. Answer the door, I got the tea and coffee," The brunette stated as she released the younger woman. Hinata smiled, glad that the torture was over, and answered the door to reveal her cousin.

"It's not very smart or safe to open the door without asking who it is," Neji announced to her and Hinata smiled.

"It's nice to see you too Neji. Yes I'm feeling well these days," Hinata said bitterly. Neji could hear Tenten laughing from the inside. He turned to the female and raised a brow. Hinata grinned and motioned for him to enter. The male settled on the couch and the two females joined him.

"When did you return Tenten?" Neji asked and Tenten smiled.

"Doesn't matter because I'm here now!" she answered as she threw her hands in the air. Her smile was contagious causing even the stoic Hyuuga to crack a small smirk. Hinata took a sip from her tea and saw how Neji kept his gaze on the brunette. Tenten always was the person the beat him out of his shell just by being near him. The young female smiled and blew into her cup.

"So, how about you get the fuck out so me and Hinata can have girl time," Tenten said politely as she batted her eyes at Neji. The male seemed shocked at the way she spoke to him but eventually recovered.

"When you learn manners then I'll leave," Neji stated as he leaned back. Hinata mentally prepared herself for the verbal war.

"How about no and you still get the fuck out," Tenten countered and smirked at the frown on Neji's face.

"Are you not going to say anything," Neji asked Hinata who laughed nervously. Her phone suddenly rang and she shot up.

"I-I'd better g-get this," she stuttered as she practically ran into the next room. Neji had always seemed to bring her into arguments between the two brunettes. She answered the call, without looking at the caller ID, and when she greeted only heard deep breathing.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Hinata asked with a raised brow.

"Hinata," the voice breathed her name, sending chills to Hinata's spine. The young woman's cheeks were bright red as she listened to his deep breathing.

"S-Sasuke, what is i-it?" Hinata asked and cursed her stuttering for making her seem so nervous.

"This isn't even Sasuke. Who is that? Nata-chan are you dating someone?" Kenta's voice rose slightly. Hinata's eyes fell to the floor in slight disappointment. The young woman had wanted to speak to Sasuke but didn't have the guts or the courage to do so.

"Of course not, Kenta, I just mistook you for someone else," Hinata clarified and lied on her back.

"Who is he Hinata? Do I know him?"

"Forget about it please. I'm not in a relationship,"

"I bet it's the guy at the coffee shop. I saw him giving you the big eyes," Kenta continued oblivious to Hinata's discomfort.

"Hey, Kenta I'll call you back. I am a bit busy. Bye bye, be safe," Hinata rushed and didn't wait for a response before hanging up. She sighed and tried to remember if he was this way when they were in high school. The blonde male had developed new traits that somewhat annoyed Hinata. She stood up and placed a smile on her face. She took small steps as she made her way to the living room. If the brunettes were still arguing then she would hide away in the room once more.

"You're an asshole," Tenten said but her voice was as cheerful as if she was giving a compliment.

"I know," was Neji's only response.

"Awe, c'mon it's not fun when you accept the insult," Tenten pouted. Hinata stuck her head out slightly and spied on the two.

"Which is exactly why I'm accepting it," Neji said with a monotone voice as he flipped through channels. Tenten frowned before grabbing a pillow and smothering the brunette. Neji's hands went frantic and he tried to push her off. However, Tenten was slightly more skilled and evaded his movements.

"Tenten!" Hinata scolded as she tried to remove the pillow from the brunette's grasp. Tenten let go and crossed her arms.

"Hinata he started it," Tenten said innocently.

"And I am finishing it," Hinata said as she held the pillow and a deep stare with the brunette.

"Woah there Ms. Hyuuga, sorry don't give me detention," Tenten joked and Hinata smiled sheepishly. The brunette smiled and Neji looked at the two females with bewilderment in his eyes.

"Yes, because you're not heavy or anything. Just continue to sit on my stomach as if I don't need air," Neji said sarcastically causing Hinata to break a small smile. The female brunette smiled as she rubbed the back of her head nervously. Tenten removed herself from the male and placed an arm around Hinata's shoulders.

"So are you still gonna get the fuck out?" Tenten grinned and Hinata giggled as Neji face palmed. The male stood and looked Hinata in the eyes.

"How is the mistress?" Neji asked with seriousness in his voice. Hinata looked down at the floor and her hands tightened into fists.

"She's made no progress but she isn't getting worse either," Hinata tried to find the light in the situation. Neji nodded with a deep frown and Tenten suddenly pulled her into a hug.

"How about we go out and have an all girls day? I'll invite Karin and even Temari if she isn't busy," Tenten tried to comfort the female. Hinata nodded her head and was released. Tenten grinned as she took out her phone and a ring at her doorbell came. Hinata answered it and found her two friends standing there.

"You see when my name is spoken I magically appear," Karin said with a bright smile. Temari smiled and pointed at the red haired female.

"We were in the neighborhood and I saw Tenten's car parked there," Temari clarified and ruffled the young woman's hair. Hinata grinned as she looked up at the two tall beautiful women. Tenten rushed to the door and gasped.

"Oh my god, they can read minds and teleport to places," Tenten said with large wide eyes. Hinata giggled as Temari and Karin rolled their eyes.

"Of course because you know my secret I have to kill you now," Karin said as she chased Tenten inside Hinata's home. Neji watched the two females laugh together and then turned his attention on his cousin.

"I'll be leaving now Hinata," Neji informed her and Hinata nodded.

"See you at work Monday," Hinata bid farewell to him and was suddenly embraced by the strong blonde.

"I was holding back until that Hyuuga left," Temari said as she snuggled closer to the female.

"T-Temari," Hinata whined as her face turned into a tomato. Karin sat on the couch tired from the running she finished doing.

"I swear Tenten, you should be my trainer. I'm always running when I'm with you," Karin said as she tried to catch her breath. Temari released Hinata and Tenten sat next to Karin with a grin.

"So what's the game plan?" Tenten asked as she gave Karin a cup of water. Hinata shrugged and looked over at the females.

"Shopping express! It's good for the lungs y'know," Karin said as she nodded her head. Temari and Tenten laughed and they all stood. Hinata locked her door before she left and they all filed into Temari's car.

"Okay so I have a question. Why did you all take my car when Tenten has her car to," Temari asked as she narrowed her eyes on the road. Karin, who was in the passenger's seat, shrugged and Tenten smiled.

"This way when someone tells a joke we all can laugh," Hinata said causing Karin and Tenten to cheer in agreement. The drive to the mall was spent with Tenten and Karin arguing over what was going to happen in the new episode of The Walking Dead and Temari putting in her sarcastic remarks here and there.

"Okay, we have to grab everything that we like and go into the dressing room to try on things and take pictures," Temari said and Karin nodded. Hinata was her usual silent self and smiled as she watched her lively friends. They were all very attractive and anyone could see that just by giving them a glance. The air around them called for attention.

Temari was a beautiful blonde with a fierce walk and attitude. She wasn't the type to back down easily—both a good and bad thing. Karin was a stunning red haired who usually wore makeup but even without it she was still very attractive. She had an air of cockiness but she wasn't like that at all. Quite the opposite really. Tenten was the tomboy of the group. Her long beautiful hair tied up in two decorative buns and she wore baggy sweats with t-shirts. Her gaze determined and sharp—careful to every little detail.

These women had neither reason nor the time to be self-conscious. Hinata looked down at her outfit and found herself comparing the things she found nice to the things they found nice. The young woman sighed in irritation at her stupidity and grabbed a random blue shirt. She entered the changing room and got a call on her phone. She hoped with all her being it wasn't Kenta. The young female was feeling a tab bit bitter and she didn't want to direct her annoyed feelings toward him. She answered and was greeted with a scolding Uchiha.

"I've been trying to call you for about half an hour," Sasuke said and even though he was scolding an adult, Hinata couldn't help but smile.

"You called to yell at me?" Hinata asked and sat down in the small seat.

"Yes actually—Dobe shut up I'm on the phone," Sasuke cursed the blonde male. Hinata's smile spread and she fingered with her sweater's zipper.

"Are you outside with friends?" she asked when she heard Naruto's and Sakura's voice in the background.

"Yeah, I was forced to go to the mall with these two," Sasuke sighed and Hinata blushed.

"Can I see you today?" Hinata said and bit her lip ready for the easy rejection.

"Yeah, I'll call when I'm coming over,"

"No I'll tell you when I'm home because I'm out with friends right now," Hinata said with soft eyes.

"Alright, but do something for me. Say my name. Just once," Sasuke's voice came out as a hushed whisper. Her eyes widened and her heart raced. He sounded so….needy.

"Sasuke," She whispered his name and he sighed before the line went dead. Hinata placed a hand over her heart and tried to calm the blood that rushed to her face. She looked at herself in the mirror and saw how awkward she looked. Hinata stood up and tried on a blue shirt. She opened the door and in fell Temari, Karin and Tenten. She looked down at them with a raised brow and tried to help them up.

"What are you all doing?" Hinata asked when the all stood up.

"The real question is who is Sasuke?" Tenten said with a grin.

"Where you gonna give a lame excuse of why you had to go home, just so you can meet up with this guy?" Karin said and pushed up her glasses with a smile.

"N-No of course not! I cherish my time with you three," Hinata said and Temari laughed.

"C'mon guys stop teasing her. She might faint with that amount of redness to her face," Temari noted with a smile to her lips. She pushed Hinata back inside the dressing room and closed the door before doing the same to the other females.

"Everyone get your shit on because after we buy everything, we're going to drop Hinata off. Operation get Hinata laid is a go," Temari announced causing Karin and Tenten to laugh loudly.

"Temari!" Hinata yelled from inside her stall.

Hinata's Home

"Bye Hinata!" Karin waved from the passenger seat. Tenten hugged the female before getting in her own car. Temari walked Hinata to her door and opened her arms.

"Next weekend we'll all drive up to visit your mom," Temari whispered as she hugged her. Hinata nodded and held back her tears. Her friends always knew how she was feeling even if she said nothing about it.

"Goodbye Temari, say hello to Kankuro and Gaara for me," Hinata said with a smile. Temari nodded and ruffled the girl's hair before walking to her car. Hinata walked in and saw Hanabi sitting down on the couch with Sasuke next to her. They seemed to be too close. They were in personal space. Her eyes widened and she dropped her keys on the floor. The two teenagers looked at her and then turned their attention back on conversing. Hinata narrowed her eyes at the two as she picked her keys up and locked the door. Not even sparing them a second glance, she walked into her room and closed the door. She dropped all her bags and ran to her bed—smothering herself with her pillow. She had felt stupid for feeling excited of seeing the male.

"Hinata, I only came by to give your key back," Hanabi said from outside the door. Hinata scoffed and lifted her head to look out the window. She sighed and closed her eyes at the slight breeze that hit her face. She heard Hanabi sigh and a door close shut.

"Hinata open this door before I break it," Sasuke voice rang and Hinata closed her eyes. The pain in her heart hurt too much for her to handle. A pounding came at her door and then Sasuke started yelling.

"Are you really going to ignore me? Hinata I don't need to be here!" Hinata stood and faced the door. Her hand just a slight movement away from the handle. Her eyes watered and his pounding went in sync with her heart.

"What did I do?" Sasuke yelled and his pounding became louder. Hinata placed her back against the door and covered her face.

"You make my heart hurt! Everything you do affects me and I can't explain it! You make life complicated and I hate you for it," Hinata screamed at him and the pounding seized. She began sobbing and removed the hands from her face.

"Open the door," Sasuke whispered and Hinata finally gave in. He walked in and closed the door behind him. He closed the window and curtains, making the room have a new darkness. He sat next to her and pulled her into a hug and let her sob into his chest.

"Don't say you hate me. Please just anything but that…..I can't live with that," Sasuke whispered and she couldn't see the silent tears that fell from his eyes as well. Hinata hugged him tighter and listened to the beating of his frantic heart. Her breathing slowed down and her tears soon came to a stop. She looked up at his concerned face and frowned.

"I'm turning into a mean person," Hinata told him and he shook his head.

"You're not keeping your true feelings behind a mask," Sasuke corrected and held her face. He looked into her eyes and Hinata held her breath as he leaned in.

"I really like you Hinata," Sasuke whispered to her when he was only a breath away from her lips. She nodded and looked up at him.

"I know," she answered him and he smirked before crashing his lips onto hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and felt her heart beat become erratic. Sasuke kissed her jaw line and held his hands at her waist. She ran her hands through his hair and he returned his attention back on her lips. It began slow and sensual but quickly back fast and desperate. It was almost as if they needed the others' lips to be happy. To be complete. Hinata separated them and looked into his eyes. Onyx eyes stared back at her lilac ones with determination and a hint of something she couldn't recognize. She leaned on his chest and Sasuke rubbed her back. She smiled at the warmth he was giving her and how her heart raced.

"Sasuke," she said his name as a question. He hummed in response, not able to use words yet.

"I found out something,"

"What is it?" his voice came out hoarse. She briefly wondered if it was from lack of air from the kissing that they did.

"I think I like you to," Hinata whispered and Sasuke pushed her up to look her in the face. His eyes were wide as she held a small smile with soft eyes. Sasuke covered his mouth before starting to laugh. Hinata narrowed her eyes at him and crossed her arms. Noticing her form he tried to stop his loud laughter.

"Look I'm not laughing at you. It's just; it was like a weight lifted from my shoulders. Damn, I'm talking like Naruto now," Sasuke cursed the male silently and Hinata held his face. His eyes stared into hers and he smiled.

"Prove that you like me," Sasuke challenged her and she kissed him with all her might. All the frustration she had previously had suddenly disappeared and what was replaced was a feeling of warmth. She smiled into the kiss and blushed.

"I like you Sasuke," She repeated and Sasuke nodded.

"I know,"

"I like you Sasuke,"

"I heard you the first time,"

"I like you Sasuke,"

"Hinata!"

"I like you Sasuke!"

"Shut up already!" Sasuke said with a flustered look on his face and Hinata smiled.

"I like you Sasuke," she said once more as she hugged him.

"I like you to," he said with a sigh as he wrapped his arms around her.

At Temari's House

"I think putting a camera in Hinata's room was pure genius," Karin praised Tenten who grinned.

"Ladies I think Operation Get Hinata Laid, has been put in place," Temari announced and Karin and Tenten smiled.

Hey guys! How long has it been since I greeted you? Two chapters, right? Apologizes, I forgot. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. In most stories I've read, Karin is a bitch. So I have decided that as a personal challenge I'll make her nice here. I haven't updated because another story has crept its way into my brain. I was feeling a little bitter so a story about a cheating Sasuke came to mind. I don't think it'll develop into anything though.
