Sidheon- Fairy

Evolution Method- Level up while holding a Fairy Gem, knowing at least one Fairy move and having level 2 affection.

Miza looked at the stats for Sidheon. "So high Attack, Special Attack and Speed." Miza flipped through the notebook. "As there isn't a Fairy type Hidden Power I have to use the Fairy Gem…" She trailed off. "I could use one of the Psychic or Bug Hidden Power Eevees." She tapped her lip. "Azim!" She called out to her brother.

"What?" Azim yelled back.

"Which is better competitively, Dark or Poison?!" She yelled.

Azim paused. "Dark!" He replied. "You got more people using Dark types than Poison!"

"Alrighty then. Bug it is." Miza muttered before circling three Eevees. "Cool, this one's shiny." Miza looked up the shiny for Sidheon.

The normal form was a ghost like shimmery grey the shades were up and down the spectrum, starting with a deep charcoal grey fading to an almost white before fading to black at the tip of the tail. The shiny, on the other hand, was a true rainbow of color. Starting with a deep blood red the rainbow went through the traditional order ending in a deep, nearly black, violet at the tip of the tail.

"Yep, using the shiny." Miza said leaving her room.

* * Later * *

"Eevee!" The proud grey Eevee preened under the attention of its breeder.

"Yeah, you're going to be even prettier once you evolve." Miza smiled.

"Vee!" It chirped.

"Alright, hold this." Miza gave the Eevee the Fairy Gem and then put a Rare Candy in front of it. "And eat that."

"Eev!" The shiny Eevee gobbled down the treat and started to glow. "Sidheon?" The newly evolved Sidheon spun around trying to get a good look at itself.

"Okay, calm down." Miza said. "You need a name." She smiled as the Sidheon fluffed up its tail. The light filtered through and lay a full rainbow on the floor. "Well, that's interesting. How about Iris? She was a goddess of the rainbow."

"Shigh!" Iris chirped in approval of its new name.

"Now, off to EV train!" Miza said jumping up. "Serena said she's competing in the next tournament and will be using an Canon Eeveelution team. Gotta get you caught up to the others."

Iris trilled, ready and raring to go.

So for Sidheon, look up a Norwegian Forest Cat, give it a rainbow coat and there you go. There's my thoughts on Sidheon.

Sidheon's name comes from Sidhe which is actually said She or Shigh. Really hard to write that phonetically as it looks like it would be said like side.

The Sidhe are actually Irish/Scottish/Gaelic in origin but Norwegian Forest Cats fit our mental picture better.

Normal Sidheon's tail throws a greyscale rainbow. After Miza uses Iris in battle the market for Shiny Eevees and Fairy Gems sky rockets. Miza capitalizes the Shiny Eevee market and provides Eevees with the proper egg moveset and IVs.

While trainers do use Sidheon in battle as a mixed attacker, Shiny Sidheon is generally considered a trophy Pokemon.

Later on, Serena uses a normal Sidheon to completely wreck the Kanto league and prove that Kalos natives can kick butt.

Yeah, wanted a really cool looking shiny so we did Mimikyu's normal/shiny in reverse.
