Chapter 11 - New people

He moved his lips gently against mine. I didn't respond because I was in shock, I couldn't believe he, Joshua, is kissing me, me plain Kady. He wrapped one of his left hand around my waist and pulled me tightly against him. The right one he moved from my check to my neck and from there to my hair and bit my lower lip. I gasped and snapped out of my shock.

I turned more towards him and wrapped my one hand around his neck and with the other one I grabbed his hair. I started to move my lips with his, I could taste him in my mouth. He licked my lower lip, begging for entrance and I granted it to him. It sent a shiver down my spine when I felt his tongue explore my mouth with his tongue, I moaned into the kiss. I felt like heaven. I started to feel l to feel light headed and like he could have felt it, he released my lips and pulled back. He looked into my eyes and I stared right back.

" Wow.." I said in wonder.

"Wow yes" He answered back smiling and I blushed and giggled.

"You are so freaking adorable, do you know that." He said chuckling.

" I didn't but thank you for telling me." I smiled. I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. Can I kiss him now whenever I want…Is he going to kiss me again ? I want to kiss him again like right now. I don't know for how long I spaced out but Joshua's voice brought me back.

"What are you thinking about, Love ?"

"No-nothing." I said blushing.

"You are blushing, tell me, I am dying to know now." He said with a smirk.

I know I'm going to regret this "I was thinking th-that are you going to kiss me again…we-well actually I thought can I kiss you again…Ohh my god, I'm just gonna stop talking.." I said blushing deep deep red and looking down. I don't what made me to tell him, I am going crazy…

He put his finger under my chin and lifted it up so he could look me in the eyes.

"You can kiss me whenever you want, Love " he said and then pecked my lips.

"Mmm.." I said my eyes still closed and he chuckled.

"Can you do it one more time, please ?" I said my eyes still closed. I didn't care that I was making myself look like a fool. I like kissing him too much to care.

He pulled me to him roughly and kissed my lips. He licked my lower lip and sucked it into his mouth, I moaned loudly and then kissed him back with same force and licked his lips with my tongue. I growled and it sent a shiver down my spine again and then my stomach growled too. Joshua pulled away and I whimpered at the loss of his lips.

"Shit, I forgot you are hungry…" he said and started to pull me out of bed.

"No no I'm fine, let's just keep kissing. " I begged and tried to pull him back to bed by his hand.

"Haha ohh sweetie, you have no idea how much I want to do that but you were unconsius for days and you are hungry. I promise when you are done eating we will come right back here and continue. But now get you cute ass out of that bed." He said smirking

" You mister are bossy and I like it." I said smirking and getting up from the bed.

He took my hand and led me out of the room. Once we made it to downstairs and smelled the food, I realized how hungry I was. The smell coming from the kitchen was amazing.

"What smells so good ?" I asked no one.

"Haha, I guess Thalia is back, it's just a shame, I hoped I could cook for you again." Joshau said sadly.

I walked in front of him and placed my hand on his cheek. "I would love that but there is always a next time." I said and winked him. "By the way who is Thalia?"

Joshua swallowed hard. Ohh no, it's not going to be good. "Well you see, she is the main maid here in this house also she is a good friend of mine and a vampire…I turned her."

"Wait..what ? How ? Why?"

"It's a long story, I will tell you some other day. Now come and eat." He said pulling by my had to the kitchen.

"No, tell me now, I want to know and we have plenty of time." I said while crossing my hands on my chest and pouting my lips.

He sighted and stepped closer to me "I will make you a deal. I will tell you about it while you eat. How's that sound ?" he said at the same time playing with my lower lip with his thumb.

"Deal." I said smiling. " Lead the way."

He chuckled and took my hand and I bit my lip.

We made it to the kitchen and a young girl, she couldn't be much older than me, was speeding around in the kitchen. I when I say speeding I mean speeding, she was a blur to me. I only saw her once when she crouched down in front of the oven and took something out from it.

"Mkmkm Thalia ?" The girl still didn't hear him. "Thalia!" The girl stopped speeding and moved in the human speed but still not looking at us.

"I heard you the first time…What do you want Josh ? Can't you see I am busy ?" and then she turned around. "Ohh..ohh ! Ohh god I'm sorry !" her eyes went wide.

She was a beautiful girl, she had long black and straight hair. Her skin was light light brown and her eyes were green. She was wearing blue jeans and clack tank top and a apron. I giggle loudly when I saw what was written on it.

"I won't bite…MUCH" I read loudly and giggle again. Thalia and Joshua looked at me as if I had lost my mind. I just shook my head and pointed my finger at her apron. They both followed my finger.

"Ohh thaaaat ! It was a gift from Joshua." Thalia said and giggled too. "Wait you are not scared ? You know about us ?"

"Yeah I do, Joshua told me. I am Kady, nice to meet you." I said smiling.

"I'm Thalia, nice to meet you too. I'm the one who feed the ones who eat food and cleans after every fucking lazy ass who lives here." She answered smiling.

"Enough Thalia !" Joshua said angrily "It's your luck that she knew. Anyway, Kady is hungry."

"Joshua, don't be rude…" I said to Joshua and then turned to Thalia :" Thalia I would love to eat whatever you are cooking right know, it smells delicious. What is it ?"

"You know, Kady, I think you and I will be good friends, anybody who is brave enough to talk to our Joshy like that will be my friend. AND of course you can ! I made lazanja, it's a old family recept. Come taste it." She said and took my hand and started to pull me towards the heavenly smelling food

After Thalia had given the biggest portion of food I have ever seen, I found myself sitting with Joshua at the dining room tabled and talking.

"So tell me, what's the deal with Thalia. Where you two ever…you know..involved ?" I asked Joshua.

"Haha no, Sweetie, nothing like that. I turned her when I was young vampire myself, my control was not that good back then. She was my younger sisters…hmm what you call them nowadays…Hmm ahh a babysitter. Right. I felt so guilty after what I did, so I took care of her, of curse she couldn't babysit my sis anymore. She got use to the vampire life quite quickly, so she volunteered to take care of the house. Eat, Kady or I will not talk anymore."

I was so focused on the story that I didn't realized that I stopped eating. I took a bite and hummed, it really was delicious. I chewed and swallowed my bite.

"I guess it worked out in the end, so there was no harm done, right ? You have a sister ?" I asked and took another bite.

"I guess so, she had no family so nobody really missed her. And no I don't have a sister anymore. She died when she was 56. "

I swallowed loudly and said: " I don't think I fallow you…"

"She was human, she was never anything supernatural. Se got married when she was 17 and had 2 beautiful kids and lived happily ever after. I'm just sad that I had to see it all by far away. I had to disappear when people started to realize that I am not ageing…" he explained.

"Ohh I'm so sorry Joshua…but I am happy for her. Will you tell me how you were turned ?" I asked curiously.

"Don't be, if I didn't have the history I have then I would have never met you," he smiled "And yes I will tell you but some other day. I wish, I could finish you breakfast with you but I have some business to attend to." He smiled now sadly.

"Ohh okay, don't worry."

He stood up and walked to my side, crouched down next to me and said " I will meet you back in MY room later, Okay, sweetie !" he said and I nodded. He kissed my cheek and then he was gone.

I finished my meal and took my dishes to the kitchen. I hoped to see Thalia again but the kitchen was empty. I put my plate down and walked back to the dining room and from there to the living room. I sat on the big couch and sighted.

DAMN…it's boring in here without a company. I wonder where Ally is, she is always around. All this time I have been here she has not even for once left my side and know she is gone POOF !

All of a sudden, I heard noise from the stairs and it got louder and louder. It took me few seconds to realize that the sound was girl giggling. Ohh god, please don't let them come here. I slide a little bit down from the couch, trying to hide. I know, I know… shitty hiding skills. What can I say… I sucked at ´hide and seek`.

At that moment tree girls run inside the room and stared me with wide eyes and I jumped up from the couch. Yeap I was that good at hiding.

"Hi" I squealed out.

"Hi…I'm Heather, this is Serena and Delyla." The girl name Heather said.

"I'm Kady."
