Mission two, start! ... I don't even know why I did that...

'Ugh, why did I agree to this...?' The blonde haired Claymore complained to herself as she continually bumped into Evia. Causing herself to be burned by her radioactive wavelength. Despite Josephine leading the mission, she still complied to her meister when she asked to stick to the left side of her and the autonomous weapon to be on the right. Leaving the blonde in the middle and getting constantly shoved by the crowd into said walking nuclear plant. Though she wasn't the only one getting burned, practically every person the group passed. When attending a live concert, you can't expect not to be trampled on by accident and stuffed into cramped spaces with complete strangers that will not, for the love of Death, shut the Hell up and listen to the music. 'Great idea sending her with us, we're already getting stares...'
Even before stepping into the crowd, the three women drew eyes from all the civilians. Despite two of three looking normal, and the other actually fitting in with the crowd, they already drew in many pairs of eyes.
"Either we look delicious to them, or everyone's a creeper..." Lux sighed as more people avoided her gaze when she attempted to catch them staring.
"It's both, take a hard look around us, what do you notice, or better yet, listen to these song lyrics..." Jo rubbed her temples, a headache approaching. The Poison Claws looked around and came to the same realization the Claymore had been through.
"There's hardly any women..." The blonde began to clap sarcastically.
"Yes, they're staring at us because they want to get lucky and only see us as eye candy or easy hookups."
"Gross, we're not some floozy bimbos, we can snap their necks if we wanted to." Quickly losing track of their mission, the three began to converse and ignored the attention of the many party goers.
The whole operation seemed as it was blown out of proportion when they heard the details. A large concert with a large amount of Kishins waiting feast on said crowd, expect music with the action and possibly the band being eggs as well. But when they arrived, the concert was not as large as they thought, maybe up to 500 people including themselves, but they expected thousands of innocent about to be slaughtered. And as for the music... Not even what they expected, well for a large crowd, but with this many people, it made sense. The band playing was some unknown indie band with generic lyrics and instrumentals that you would've sworn you heard the same song elsewhere. And the worst part, no one died yet, or any sign of the kishins.
"Dammit, when are we gonna get some action!?" Evia cried out in frustration, but her words were bent and warped when they reached the ears and minds of the audience, which led to a few bravely stupid men to approach them.
"Look no further ladies, we'll give ya what you want." All given with a smirk that caused the green haired meister to choke back some vomit.
"Not that kind action, especially not from you." Lux clarified the yelling remark that got them in this mess.
"And what kind of action do you want then? I wouldn't mean giving that to ya." Lux growled lowly when the man stepped closer to them, but an idea popped into her mind. She put on a soft façade and added a blush to her cheeks.
"You would do that for us...?"
"Yes, of course, sweetheart." The use of sweetheart made the three women shiver in disgust.
"Close your eyes." The man complied to her command and as soon as he did, the green haired girl had done what she wanted to do the second she saw this guy. A kick to the nether regions, and a sucker punch to his prideful, pain filled, face. Afterwards, Lux walked away, her weapon and mission partner following closely, snickering at the priceless moment. "Why do men never see that coming?"
"How did I get roped into this...?" The insanity stricken man trudged out of the large mansion, having been forced to by the others, mainly one person, to go pick up a new member. "I'm going to kill him..."
All he wanted to do for the day was to sit in bed and play Pokémon. But it seemed that since he was doing nothing for the day, picking up the rookie was his duty. With a decent argument, he almost managed to get out of it, but he had to intervene.
"I don't want Striker taking her here, Ice is teaching me and Salem to dance, Nico is training for our mission, and Akari is... I dunno, but she's not here, you're doing nothing, so go!" - Roy
It was true, he was being ordered by the young Gun Blade, and on top of that, he even tried blackmail. Said he would download 16 terabytes of porn on his own laptop if he didn't. Damien was calling his bluff at first, but soon found that the black haired young man was more corrupt than he seemed. Maybe a tad bit insane since he had an unnaturally wide grin firmly plastered on his face.
With his reputation on the line, and possibly a computer virus risk, Cruise had to swallow up his pride and walked into the Cosplay Café. He ordered his Dr. Pepper and waited for the new recruit, though he wasn't exactly eager to do so. Since she was related to Roy, she had to be like him in some ways. which from what he just experienced, isn't giving her bonus points, more of a reduction.
Since he wasn't an expert at genetics, it was difficult for him to pick out the sister among the people that entered, all he was looking for was a black haired girl. But a part of his mind doubt that she had the same hair color.
"Koko!" A feminine voice yelled as the red eyed man felt arms wrapped around his shoulders in a killer grip, but it was supposed to be a tight hug, but it couldn't help cut off his circulation. But glad to have the blood flowing properly and being released from the grasp of the young woman, the man looked up to see hazel eyes staring at him with confusion. "Oh crap, I'm so sorry, I thought you were my brother with longer hair... and somehow taller..."
'Huh? I didn't really have to do anything... She found me.' "I'm not you're brother, but he sent me to get you."
"Oh awesome, my name's Lara, you?" She said while brushing her brown hair out of her face. A smile that showed no relation to the vulpine grin her brother had.
"Damien. So... You're Roy's little sister? You don't look like him." Lara giggled and felt a slight blush form.
"All my brothers don't look alike, none of us do but we're still family and close. except our oldest brother Paul, me and him have the same hair and eye color, but that's it, he's way too strict and anti-fun." The young woman went on and explained a very long winded story of the middle brother being accident prone and receiving burns last Thanksgiving from deep frying turkey. A tale that was only one of many of the near death experiences that brother had been through. 'This makes more sense, the whole family is nuts.'
"Anyways, can I go see Koko now?" The man smiled and rose from his seat, chuckling at his new devious plan for payback.
"Alright, follow me." The two began to return to the mansion, a nasty plot going through the Knife Meister's head.
Back at the concert, the green haired meister couldn't help but feel something was off about the music, aside from it being unbearably bland. Ever since arriving and hearing the notes, there was always a feeling that a pitch didn't belong. A strange pitch that tried to reach, not her ears, but her soul. Wanting to grasp it.
"Something sound odd with the music?" She asked the others to clarify that if it wasn't just herself noticing it.
"Besides that it sucks? Yeah, it feels like the sound waves aren't what reach us." Evia agreed, her light green eyes studying the band playing. Each member wore sunglasses that didn't correspond to their clothing, one was even wearing formal wear with sunglasses. "Yup, band playing are definitely kishins, only an insane person would wear sunglasses with those clothes."
After a little flashback of a lecture to do with meisters and weapons, with an analogy used to describe the relationship like an electric guitar and an amp. Meisters use weapons to be able to use their Soul Wavelengths at a stronger magnitude. Who is to say that Kishins could not do the same? Though if that were the truth, than the instruments they were playing were not regular instruments, and may possibly be Weapons gone corrupt.
"You guys want to just go on stage, kill the band and just start slaughtering kishins?" Lux asked, an idea that not only would help attract the targets, get rid of their boredom, end the crappy music, and maybe cause the guys that stared at them to piss their pants all in one move.
Jo and Evia nodded in agreement, already wanting the mission to come to an end. "Then let's throw subtle out the window and just jump on stage."
Agreeing with her meister's words, the Claymore glowed brightly and took the form of the light blue bladed weapon. The autonomous weapon bringing the sickle shaped claws out, causing those around them to back up and give the two space.
Lux was the first to leap on stage, Evia following quickly, and glared down at the band.
"We're here to claim your souls, and put an end to your awful career." Directing the blade at the guitarists face, the sunglasses slightly fell further down his nose and revealed crazed eyes, the kind that holds no particular color or shine, and nearly the size of dots. The kishin grinned, revealing unnaturally sharp teeth.
Without a moment to spare, the guitarist attacked with the blunt of his guitar, the green haired woman yawned and held up her blade to block, sparks flew from the clash, but the guitar remained intact, proving the theory of weapons.
Having saw her friend block an attack with lack of effort, the bright green eyed girl rushed at the drummer and thrust her blades into his throat. After pulling out, she struck the drum set to see blood emerge from it. Another weapon, hoping to stay unnoticed and live. But with the poison that dripped from her claws, the target wouldn't live that long.
Immediately after the first kishin dropped, the bouncers and guards flooded the stage, each having a bloodlust surrounding themselves.
"Lux, remember, just because we're surrounded doesn't mean they can over power us." Jo eased the mind of her weapon, though she said it out loud to unnerve the targets. It was a tactic of theirs to always unsettle the foe's confidence and use it to gain an edge in the battle. Based on how badly they flinched when she rested the Claymore on her shoulder, it was working.
"Time for a surprise." She smiled as she brought the blade forward and stabbed into an guard, she further pushed the blade into him, and with the surrounding tactic used on her, she struck more than one target. In a quick fluid motion, she retrieved her friend from the abdomen of many kishins and swung the blade horizontally at a high elevation to easily decapitate a few more targets. All while the Radioactive weapon cut down more band members during the slaughter.
Since it was a small concert, there was fewer staff, only around twenty to thirty kishins eggs were counted after the mission, though it was still a lot for one mission.
"Glad that's all over." The three yawned as the sun began to set. "Maybe we should have stolen their bus or something, we got a long distance to walk."
Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter. Well, me... I feel horrible because of something I did. I don't have an excuse for it other than selfish desire. I deserve what's coming to me, and should learn to be a bit more patient instead of going through things like an idiot. I should say I'm sorry, but I don't deserve to be easily forgiven...
Well, that's off my chest now. Don't ask, I just needed to vent that out.
