Astrid gasped and fell back. Smoke flooded out of the dragons mouth. Fishlegs dragged Astrid into the woods. Their screams rung through the trees and rocks surrounding them. The sound echoed to the canyon where Toothless and Hiccup were trapped. Toothless's eyes slit as he nudged Hiccup. "What the...?" Hiccup's eyes widened."Oh no." Hiccup jumped up and tried to climb the canyon wall. Now he had a reason to escape. He dug his metal leg into the stone. The nails worked well enough to keep him from sliding down. Toothless hooked his claws into the dent that Hiccup's leg made in the weak but slick rock. It wasn't much it would have to work. Toothless flapped his wings to keep himself up. Hiccup tried to grip something else but it was too smooth. Toothless pushed Hiccup's good foot up using his head. Hiccup made another dent with the prosthetic. They repeated this until Toothless was high enough to toss Hiccup over the edge and onto the dirt above. "Yes! We did it." Hiccup pumped his fists in the air." Oh right. Come on." Hiccup climbed on Toothless who rushed into the forest to find Frigga and the humans.
Frigga was trapped by the trees but so were Astrid and Fishlegs. They were leaned up against a rock. Frigga tried to reach her neck in to get them but couldn't quite reach. She had used a lot of fire already. Anymore and she'd burn the forest to the ground. Her huge paws were shoving the trees to the side. soon she'd be able to get at them.
Toothless sniffed the ground. Where was she? How the heck could they lose a dragon that big?"Ahhhh!" Astrid screamed. But that wasn't out of terror. Toothless shot his head around."Astrid." The night fury charged in the direction of the scream and jumped threw a bunch of trees into a clearing. Astrid stood in front of Frigga's head. A sharp spear was imbedded in the green dragons head. Hiccup's gasped. Toothless looked at Astrid in horror. She was the most terrified. Stormfly and Meatlug finally found them. All three dragons freaked. Meatlug curled back into a ball. Stormfly hissed at the dead dragon and stared at her friend. The dragon killer. Neither of the dragon seemed to realize it was self defense. Stormfly growled and Astrid but then her eyes dilated. Instead both dragons cowered and flew away.
Astrid started to shiver. What has she done? "Astrid! What happened?" Hiccup ran over to Astrid hugged here."I didn't want to. she almost had me though. I just saw a pointy stick and...I didn't have choice." Astrid explained. Hiccup kissed her on the forehead. "I know. It's okay." A single tear rolled down his cheek." At least she's not so miserable now." Hiccup kneeled before Frigga, the green dragon that only wanted her babies back."I just feel so bad for her. So much went wrong in her life." He closed her dead eyes.
I'm just going to point this out. Frigga was not the main villain. She kind of is the reason the villain is the villain though. Not just trying surprise you. Frigga's death is important to the story.
