It's official, her family had gone bonkers. Well, more than they already were.

This led her to the following discussion in her living room. "My house, my rules Norge and I say you can't stay here for more than a week!" Denmark was normally a very happy country, but in this case with the way her family was acting, Matthia was this close to brandishing her beloved axe and madly hacking it at anything within a 10 km radius.

Lukas only continued to stare at her unblinking. "You can't tell me what to do Dan. Besides, we have voted and you're outnumbered. Berwald is already making himself at home as we speak." On cue, the loud sounds of pans clacking together could be heard from the kitchen as the personification of the country of Sweden prepared dinner. Emil was also inside there, currently stocking up her cupboards with various packs of licorice and bird seed.

Matthia gritted her teeth as she glared at a smug Lukas, not at all willing to back down. "You decided that for yourselves. Emil and I weren't even here when you did that so-called voting!"

Lukas shrugged. "Fine, we'll do the voting again." In a larger voice, Lukas called the other remaining Nordics, "Berwarld, Emil, Tino come here." At the command, all activity stopped in the kitchen as Emil closed the cupboard doors and Berwald emerged wearing an apron, a rag towel in hand. Tino, on the other hand, emerged from the stairs. He had been busy preparing his and Berwald's designated rooms in Matthia's house.

"Yes?" the Finn asked.

"Matthias has requested a re-voting," Lukas answered. Tino ah-ed while Berwald narrowed his eyes.

"We're staying here," Was all the stoic man said before turning around and entered the kitchen once again. Matthia gaped at him while Lukas sent her a smirk.

"Emil?"

The Icelandic shrugged, "Whatever you decide," and followed the Swede back to the kitchen.

Matthia widened her eyes in horror. Emil has been her last hope!

Lukas smiled, like he had expected the younger's answer, and continued. He turned to the Finnish man, "What about you Tino?"

The Finnish man gave Matthia a timid glance and an apologetic smile, "I'm sorry about this Dan but I think it'll be better for us to stay here and accompany you." The small man hurriedly ran upstairs as the personification of Denmark released an anguished scream.

Lukas, for his part, looked absolutely smug, "That's already three against one. Even if Emil would change his mind and side with you, you are still outnumbered."

"For god's sake, I don't need a babysitter!" Matthia argued. Really, what is with this sudden turn of events? They were creeping her out. Why should they care about her in the first palace anyway? Didn't they hate her guts? Why else would they have left her a long time ago?

Fuck this shit!

"Sure you don't," The Norwegian replied. "Why are you so against our stay anyway? Didn't you used to force us to stay whenever we came down to visit?"

This silenced Matthia. She used to but that was until one drunken night with Gilbert and Arthur (again) that she had a sudden epiphany (not really, it was Arthur who pointed it out to her – well, him since she was still a man at the time) that the rest of the Nordics (with the exception of Emil) hated her guts and definitely didn't appreciate all of her annoying invitations or interventions of their departure.

That was the reason why her invitations became few and far between until she just no longer bothered. Though whenever they did visit her out of their own will, she still welcomed them warmly with open arms but no longer expected them to stay long. Emil's been the only one who stayed for more than a day.

Still not willing to yield but already knew she lost, Matthia could do nothing more but clench her fists tight and send Lukas a glare that was so reminiscent to the ones Matthias used to have back when he was still at the height of his power. It comforted her slightly yet at the same time saddened her that the Norwegian man lightly squirmed on his seat at the look.

Was she really that awful before to that point that this strong willed nation sitting in front of her would feel queasy being reminded of their past?

God, no wonder they hate her now.

"Fine," she spat, "All of you can stay here but only until after Eurovision."

It seemed like Lukas had already gotten over the earlier fear he had felt (or what could be called fear) as he was the one now glaring. "How long we stay is up to us, not you."

He stood up from his seat and started for the stairs. But before he could climb though, Matthia interrupted.

"How come? Need I remind you, you're in my house and country? Diplomatic immunity isn't much help for you in my presence." Seriously this was getting on her nerves. Why is this annoying her so much anyways? Matthia swore if she was still Matthias she wouldn't be this pissed.

Well, if she was still Matthias then they wouldn't even be having this conversation in the first place.

"Dan," Lukas started, facing her again. This time though, the anger was no longer visible in his face and those purple eyes actually glinted teasingly that it surprised her. "We're family. The others and I are entitled to abuse your hospitality whether you like it or not. And besides, when have we ever listened to you?"

Matthia could do nothing (again) but gape at the other's retreating back. When she finally snapped out of it, she released (another) enraged cry and stomped towards the kitchen.

"Berwald! I need coffee!"

"Coming!"

A/N: Words cannot describe just how sorry I am that it took me over four months to update this despite me promising it won't be more than a month. I actually have a good reason for that; along with why, instead of Julchen's, the chapter you just read was Matthia's.

I don't have a computer or a laptop of my own and the computer I use to type up my chapters are owned my Aunt, since I'm currently living with her. Unfortunately, just last month she moved, bringing the computer with her without even informing me, to a faraway place that would take four hours of boat travel. Due to my busy schedule (since I just got promoted on work and I also went back to school) and tight funds, I don't think I can visit her anytime soon so I just decided to put Julchen's plotline on hold for the moment until I can retrieve my files back, and continued over with Matthia's.

Hope you guys would be fine with this and once again, sorry for the delay;;;

P.S. Who do you think would win Eurovision this year? I'm currently torn over Russia, France and (unlikely but I really hope it would win this year) Iceland.
