~Callie's POV~
I was sitting in our room with Taylor, with the door open of course when Stef knocked and then entered. "Hey girls, Can we talk?" Stef asked sitting down on Taylor's bed in between the two of us. I nod, "Yeah." I was trying to play it cool but I was terrified of what Stef was going to say, terrified that she and Lena had changed their minds over night and were going to throw one, if not both, of us out.
"Calm down." Stef laughed looking at me. I smile faintly and Stef continues, "Okay, so I know we discussed the fact that the two of you could no longer share a room, we figured out that we are going to do. One of you will be sleeping in the room we use currently for storage, it's not very big but large enough for one person to live in for now. It's not offically a bedroom but it'll have to work for the time being, Lena and I already told the two of you that you had to be mature and figure things out if you wanted this thing between the two of you to work, so you can figure out who gets to stay here and who gets their own room." I nod and Taylor also agrees that we'd figure it out. Stef says that she and Lena would like to get everyone situated soon so the faster we figured it out the better.
"You want it?" Taylor asks me. It surprises me, I'm still not use to most people asking me what I wanted and trying to think of my well beginning but this is the second time in the last few days that Taylor has put my wants before hers. I shake my head, "You can have it." I smile.
Taylor looks at me skeptically, "You sure Callie?"
I roll my eyes at her, "Yeah, go ahead have it, I don't mind sharing a room with Mariana. You can have the room to yourself, besides we both know it doesn't matter, we're just going to hang out with each other anyways." I laugh when Taylor blushes at my comment of us hanging out, but it was true, at least I hoped it to be. I was beginning to feel more and more comfortable around her and enjoying her company more.
"So it's decided," Taylor questions me again, "I get the new room?" I nod again confirming that I didn't mind staying in this room. Taylor smiled, clearly excited, "Want to help me start moving my stuff?" I nod and jump off the bed and wait for her to hand me stuff to carry down the hallway.
Taylor looked up and realized I was trying to to intrude her space, "Oh you can just grab whatever's mine, I don't mind you looking at it." I nodded and grabbed a shoe box she kept in the closet. It fell off the shelf and pictures fell out of it onto the floor. Taylor ran over to me and grabbed a few of the pictures, "I forgot about these. I didn't want to hurt Stef and Lena so I hid them." She frantically grabbed at them. I grabbed her hands and held them there, she dropped the pictures. "Taylor what is it?" Taylor just looked at the ground as I picked one of the photos up, they were clearly photos from when she lived with her parents, photos that captured the few moments of love she had in the house. "It's alright. I won't say anything." I whispered letting go of her hands and cleaning up the photos off the floor.
I continued to help move Taylor out of the room until it was only Mariana and my own stuff left in the room. "Thanks." Taylor smiled at me. I nodded, "It was nothing." She hugged me quickly and then rolled her eyes as Stef walked up the stairs and interrupted us, "I said no PDA's." She teased. I rolled my eyes and winked at Taylor which caused her to blush.
~Taylor's POV~
I blushed as Callie winked at me and Stef came up the stairs, "Well than can we go out?" I mumble. Stef shrugs, "Ask Lena, I'm going to check and see how long the boys have been playing video games." I nod surprised, "Only if you want to Callie, I didn't expect her to say we could go out."
Callie laughs at me and shrugs, "Sure, I don't mind."
I smile and run down the stairs, not bothering to change because with Callie I don't need to dress up she's seen me at my best and at my worse. "Can Callie and I go out?" I plead with Lena. Lena sighs and rolls her eyes, "Yeah sure, look like Mariana will be the only kid staying for dinner tonight." I forgot that Lena wanted to introduce us all to her ex girlfriend tonight during my excitement of going out with Callie.
Lena rolled her eyes, "It's fine, go ahead, the two of you go out, just be home before curfew. And be careful what you do in public we don't want to be dealing with people reporting anything alright." Callie and I both nod in agreement, a sparkle in Callie's eye that I hope is from excitement and my smile plastered across my face as we run out the front door.
