I realized that I have dragged this story a bit long, especially the late times I put the chapters up.

Oh, I also added a few things in the story.

Chapter 1-11 is a Prologue.

DRAGON WARRIOR

CHAPTER 12

( Rebellious Uproar )

ICE BOY

"Gray!" Loke shouted.

I was lying with my back on the grass and I wiped the blood off of my mouth. I thought it's an easy fight against the King and his soldiers, but I was wrong. It looks like the last words I shouted to Salamander was my last.

"Stay alive and this sacrifice would be worth it!"

"Looks like you're down, boy." The King chuckled. It's not over yet, I could use that.

I tried to stand back up, I closed my eyes and tried to recall what Ur did.

"Well someone does not want to give up." The King mumbled.

I put my right arm above my left arm. My right palm facing down and my right facing up.

"ICED SH-" I was suddenly cut off by a familiar voice coming from above.

"Gray! You stupid dumb fuck!" It destroyed my concentration. I opened my eyes and look for the culprit, there I saw Jellal in his fighting stance. "Assistance, coming right up." He smiled a bit. I saw him swiped his hand, "Heaven Breakdown." The ground below us are starting to shake tremendously making the ground crack up and break down, making some soldiers fell below.

"King, We need to escape." One of the soldiers said.

"Indeed. I need to escape." The King said, escaping on his own with his magic, he escaped by jumping out of the Ice Wall. I looked at the soldier, his eyes were full of emotions: anger, sadness, fear, and other more. Probably he has come to a realization that the King who they looked up to and the one who promised to protect them turned his back on them for the sake of his life. If he doesn't care about the safety of his own flesh and blood then he certainly doesn't care of any living creature besides power and money. He'll just probably end up lying on the citizens and others who are under him to gain sympathy and direct all his mistakes to us who are on the right side.

I looked around the Ice wall I created, most of the soldiers were on their knees begging for their lives and telling us about their families. Family huh? That's what we prisoners don't have.

"Tell us. Is there a way out of this prison?" I asked no one in particular.

I think no one knew that some of us inside this prison have no memory outside of it's walls. Others joined with reasons, but some were here just to kill or get killed. It's their decision. Now I know why the King made this up. To get more money by betting, by getting attention from other Princes to join and win the Princess' hand, and if possible whoever wins would be considered the strongest, thus making a strong heir out of their blood.

Without even thinking I decided to break the wall I made and run, last time I remember Salamander and the others ran this way. I have to look for them, this is probably an ambush. I know that Steel more than others, because it takes one to know one.

DARK PRINCE

"Tell us. Is there a way out of this prison?" Gray asked.

What's with that question? This place is not a prison, it's more of a campsite of some sort to get the Princess' hand. I looked at Gray who was deep in thought and I cocked an Eyebrow at Loke, by the looks he gave me he was confused like me.

"We're sorry Prince." They mumbled. One of them probably noticed our confusion, he was about to start but he stopped when Gray decided to break the wall and run. Outside of this wall isn't much of a commotion, but I know he can handle it because we'll follow soon.

"Talk." I ordered.

"I don't really know much but all or most of us were fed with different information." He started. Waiting some of them to stop him or object him because either way they would be risking their lives and we all know it.

"Go on." Loke said, probably itching on running after Gray.

"All of the Prince got the invitation to get the Princess' hand, right?" He asked and I nodded that's strange why didn't Loke nod. "Aristocrats got the invitation to win women, and to show how strong they are." He mumbled. "Knights are here to control the situation, that's Milady Scarlet's job. Every participants have to promise something before entering, it's to not tell anyone about the prize, there are rankings but it could be a lie and lastly..." I didn't let him finish, it's just to much to take in. I looked around, Loke is not around anymore.

"You all are free, don't tell anyone of what happened here or everyone in your bloodline would be my target." I told them firmly and I started to run too, in search of... them. Are they even my comrades? probably an ally in search of the Princess, but I'm just here for her.
