(A/N) Sorry about the short chapter 12 but I needed to get everything straight in my head. I did that so now I can focus on chapter 13. I don't own anything, nor am I making any money from this whatsoever. Every mating bond is different in my story. Anyhow let's go.

MiaPOV

God, I hope were there soon. I didn't understand why but ever since leaving the school gates there had been a pulling in my chest. It had been happening every time I left a warded area but it's been getting stronger with each passing year. Now it was almost painful. For some reason however the closer we got to Forks the more detailed the pull seemed to get. If I was a GPS I could probably give you a precise location. The only weird thing was that the place seemed to shift a bit, as if it was walking in circles. Weird chest pull thingy.

We were almost there, just another hour and we would be in the little town named after eating utensils. I was looking forward to seeing Rose again and meet this mystery girl and Ivan. She had never heard of anyone who had faked his own death and she was curious as to why he had done it. Maybe he was sick of being a royal. Probably not.

The rest of the car ride went quickly, we were all tired so nobody was in the mood to annoy the others. It helped of course that Adrian was passed out drunk. I was glad I wasn't seated beside him. Poor Eddie.

The town was small, only around 3000 people here and no shopping mall or anything. Only some store for sport equipment. Great. This town was very boring but perfect for a moroi. It didn't look like the sun would start shining anytime soon. Even better.

These people better be very interesting.

The pull was now almost trying to get me to roll out of the car and run up the concealed driveway we passed. What the fuck was going on here. And that's when it happened, in a flash there was someone in front of the car. Guardian Petrov stepped on the breaks and we just missed him. When we stand still I open my eyes again to see the most handsome man ever standing there.

His hair was to his chin and golden blond, his eyes almost completely black, a strong jaw line and a posture most guardians would be jealous of. His eyes met mine and my breath left me. I couldn't explain the connection I felt to him. The pull in my chest was pulling me too him! Well I didn't mind that one bit. He was amazing.

In the blink of an eye he was beside the car and had pulled me out. Next I know I'm inside a gigantic house with the hot guy still holding me. I noticed he was cold to the touch yet he was still comforting to me. I noticed we weren't alone then. There were a beautiful blonde woman and a hugely build man sitting on a couch. Just as I wanted to ask what was going on, the big guy spoke up.

"Jazz, what the fuck is going on, you've been pacing for the last few days and now you just pop out and come back with some girl." Well that was what I wanted to know as well and what was up with this pull. It had eased significantly since I had been in his arms.

Jazz, as he was apparently named, didn't answer immediately. Instead he sat down on a loveseat near the couch and pulled me into his arms. I snuggled deeper into his arms without even really noticing it. Taking comfort in his scent.

"Emmet, Rosalie, she is my mate. I could feel the pull the last years and now she has come to me." His mate? What the fuck? That sounded like he was a dog or something.

"Not be annoying or anything but could somebody please explain what is going on?" I really wanted to know this. I mean, the guy did just kidnap me.

"Of course. Rose, Emmet, please leave us alone." The two others simply got up. The woman smiled at me and I knew I was going to like her. Though it would be weird if she was named Rose as well. Then I would know two incredibly beautiful Roses. Must be the name or something.

When they're gone he moves us to the couch and sits me down beside him, not liking this I immediately move back into his lap. He chuckled and I blushed.

"If you want to be close to me darlin' you can just come closer. Don't be ashamed." He was quite cocky wasn't he.

"I thought you were going to explain?"

"Sure darlin', it's going to be a long story." And he started the explanation. I felt sorry for what he had been through and a murderous rage towards both the pixie bitch and the psycho bitch Maria. The mating part surprised me but explained so much. I told him about the pull and he was surprised.

"You shouldn't have been able to feel the pull, only vampires would feel it." At that I simply looked away guiltily until I remembered his gift. Damn lying to him would be completely impossible.

"Well, you see, I'm not human either." And with that I started the explanation on my kind of vampire and the strigoi and dhampires.

"So you're a vampire as well? I should really start actually recognizing your kind. I made the same mistake with Ivan." He had met Ivan? How?

"You met Ivan? Is he nice? Or an ass?"

"Why are you so interested in him?" I almost laughed at his jealousy. It looked quite cute on him, if it hadn't been for the fact he was incredibly deadly.

"He is kind of the reason we are all here. He faked his death and well, somebody gave Isabella's location to Dimitri. Dimitri took Rose with him but Tasha, an annoying bitch who is in love with Dimitri and is Christian's aunt, followed them. Now we are here to make sure Rose hasn't killed Tasha yet. That's why I'm interested in the guy, not because I want to date him so calm down cowboy."

"Well, I am happy to tell you that Rose hasn't killed anyone in this town and neither has Dimitri so I'm pretty sure Tasha is still alive. She is Victoria's mate so she is now one of us." Well I guess that is good. And if Tasha is this woman's mate then she won't go after Dimitri anymore and Rose hopefully won't kill her.

"I think we should go out because the rest of the gang has no idea what just went on."

"Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about it. It was simply instinctual." He was so cute.

What the hell just happened? That man just appeared out of nowhere and then steal Miss Rinaldi out of the car! Why would he do that and what is going on? I hope she won't get flash backs to Spokane, God knows the girl didn't deserve that. The man had disappeared up the concealed driveway so we decided to drive up.

The driveway ended at a huge, light house with two people standing in front of it. A big brute of a guy and a tall and haughty looking blonde woman. The man would look like the biggest threat but the woman had an air of deadliness around her. They reminded her of Dimitri and Rose.

"Usually I would be polite but since someone just stole one of my students and took her up this driveway, I'm going to be frank. Where is the girl and what is going on here?" As I had expected the woman stepped forward and I was suddenly grateful I had told the rest to stay in the car. Only Yuri had come out with me.

"I'm sorry about my brother's behaviour. If you will all come around the house we will explain everything. I promise we will not harm you." I only nodded and turned to Yuri motioning to him to get the students and follow me. The woman and man walked to the back of the house with a motion to follow them. I went first with the students in the middle and Yuri bringing up the rear, both of us still tense and I could see Lord Ozera was sprung tight as well. We motioned for the moroi to sit down and continued to stand ourselves.

"Okay, we're here. Now please explain." This better be a good explanation or people would die. I wasn't leaving here without Miss Rinaldi.

"Well, for starters we know you are a dhampir and the three, or well four, with you are moroi." I was about to ask how she knew this when she stopped me. "We know this because we are not human either. We are known as Cold Ones and are vampires as well. We are different however, we are immortal, we do not burn in the sun but sparkle" She wanted to continue but Lord Ozera and Lord Ivashkov had started laughing.

"I'm sorry but did you say sparkle?" Why did we bring those two again? They had no respect whatsoever.

"Yes we sparkle, anything wrong with that? It is preferable over burning isn't it?" The woman was obviously not fazed by there reaction, though she seemed a bit annoyed.

"Anyhow, as I said we do not burn. We either drink the blood of humans or animals. You can see the difference in the eye colour. Red for human and golden for animals. Now the reason why our brother stole your friend is because our kind has mates. The girl is Jasper's mate. Every mating bond is different and Jasper had been feeling the pull for the last sixteen years, when you passed here the Major came out and just took her. Sorry for that." Well, seems like there are four kinds of vampires now. Great, what's next? Werewolves? Probably.

"What did you mean by the Major came out?" A the princess, she was very observant and knew what kind of questions to ask. However a new voice answered her question.

"The Major is what people call my alter ego. I have been through a lot of shit and to deal with that my mind made up someone else. He is named the Major because of my rank in the confederate army." The man had come out with Miss Rinaldi behind him, him in a slightly protective stance. He was tall with blonde hair and golden eyes. The short sleeved he was wearing showed off the scars on his arms and up his neck. It told us one thing, this man was dangerous. Looking towards Yuri I could see he had made the same conclusion.

"That's all good and nice but if you could move so we can be sure that the little one is still fine that would be just dandy." Lord Ivashkov said, he may be drunk but I could feel the compulsion lacing his words so I wasn't surprised when the man stepped to the side and Miss Rinaldi stepped forward. The princess checked her over quickly and found nothing to be wrong with her.

This was all very weird, but I was glad for Mia that she had found her mate. He must have been the reason for the pull in her chest. He seemed like a good fit for her but I knew me and Rose would be having a conversation with him, I had just found a new thing I could do with spirit and I wouldn't hesitate to use it if he hurt her.

"You know Adrian you didn't have to use compulsion for him to let me walk to you guys." Mia said in a slightly scolding tone.

"I'm sorry but did you compel us?" The blonde woman said, we still didn't know their names. Only Jasper's. They would probably tell us later.

"Yeah, I did. I didn't know if you would do it otherwise so I decided to play safe. You can't blame me." He wouldn't tell you but Adrian did care and I saw Mia's eyes soften as she looked at him.

"How is that possible us. No other has ever done that." Ow crap, here comes the super compulsion explanation.

"Well you see, me and my cousin over here have some kind of super compulsion thanks to our element." Thank you for your vagueness Adrian.

"What is your element then? We've only met a fire user before." Seriously? This wasn't any of their business.

"Look I get that you're curious but this is something we rather not discuss with total strangers. We don't even know your names." Thank you guardian Petrov.

"Of course. My name is Rosalie, or Rose for short. This is my mate Emmet and you probably caught it but his name is Jasper Whitlock. What are your names?" She seemed nice although a bit sad. I decided to trust them at least a little more and started on our names.

"From left to right is Guardian Yuri Lisovskii, Lord Adrian Ivashkov, Novice Eddie Castile, Lord Christian Ozera, I am Princess Vasilisa Dragomir, Lissa for short. Next to me is Guardian Alberta Petrov and last but not least Jasper is holding Mia Rinaldi. That's it." They didn't seem fazed by the titles I had used and that told me they knew enough of Moroi society to not find us weird.

"Now if that is all, we should go looking for Isabella." I really wanted to leave and see Rose again. She could feel me and check up on me but I couldn't do that with her and I had missed her.

"Yes you should, we know her address and where your friends are so we can show you." Jasper said. I had a feeling it had more to do with him not wanting to be away from Mia. Lucky girl and she sure as hell deserved a man that would always be there for her. After everything she had been through.

"Well then, let's go. Shall we follow you?" We all stood up at Alberta's words and walked to our car. The Whitlock's, I guess, went into a building and came out in a car. They pulled away and we followed.

Minutes later we pulled up to a small home. It was white and the paint was starting to come off, in the driveway a police cruiser and an old truck stood. We parked on the side of the road and then we had to decide who would go up to the house first. In the end it would be me and Eddie.

I knocked on the door and waited until it was opened. Seconds later a brunette girl of about our age opened the door looking at us with a raised eyebrow.

"I'm sorry but what can I do for you?"

"We're looking for Isabella Swan, is that you?" Always be polite, what a good lesson now.

"Yes I am. Let me guess, you're friends of Rose?" How did she guess that?

"Come on in. They're inside." We followed her in and I could hear Rose's laughter as we entered. She spotted me almost immediately and came over to us.

"Oh my God, Liss, I'm so happy to see you. Come meet Ivan. And tell the rest to come in as well." In typical Rose fashion she had taken over this house and Isabella simply looked on with a smile. They had quite obviously become friends in the period Rose had been here. I hoped we would get on as well.

Eddie walked out and got the rest while I was introduced to Isa's, she had told us she didn't like Isabella and Rose called her Isa, father. An older man with brown hair and a moustache. The rest joined us after that and they as well were introduced to Isa's father. After that Rose turned to the only unknown face in the room.

"And now, the grand finale. Ivan Zeklos himself!" He was blond with the same blue eyes that Tasha and Christian had. He was very handsome and had an arm around Isa and simply seemed amused at Rose her antics.

"Thank you for that introduction Rose but I think they had already come to that conclusion themselves." I liked him already. We started talking with each other after that, careful not to mention the supernatural because of Isa's father. Though he was probably already suspicious of everything, I mean he was a cop right?

We continued for awhile until the bell rang and Rose stood up to get it. That's when we heard it.

"Tasha!"
