Alyssa watched as Ryou, Keiichiro and the mews stared at Ryuu, Rekka and Essi in shock. "Sisters?" Ryou finally spoke.
"Yes." Rekka rolled her eyes. "I think we've said that five times already."
"Calm down Ryuu, in sure it is confusing and a little overwhelming." She sat down in an open chair slowly.
"You okay Ryuu?" Essi asked resting a hand on her chair. "Your wound?"
"I just need to rest some more." She smiled. "But it's feeling better?"
"What happened?" Alyssa asked curious. If these were her sisters then she wanted to understand them. She also wanted to understand their powers.
"She was attacked by a crazy guy." Rekka grumbled. "Twice. I still want to know how he found us."
"We can ask Kimberly when we see her next."
"I guess." Rekka shrugged.
"So so you have any proof you are siblings? You don't exactly look alike." Ryou said coldly.
"Yes." Essi frowned. "We already showed you how we have powers like Alyssa."
"Twice." Rekka grumbled.
"As for our looks we are half siblings. Rekka and I have a different father than Essi, Isa, and Alyssa."
"I still am having a hard time believing this." Ryou frowned.
"Let me better explain." Ryuu sighed. "We all come from another world but we're separated when we were young. Alyssa ended up here. None of us knew about each other except for our oldest sister Kimberly who has been looking for us and finding us all. Now that we are together again we can figure out what we want to do."
"Well we are missing one." Essi pointed out.
"True, we are hoping the other three have found her."
"Another world?" Keiichro asked. "Really?"
"Yeah, I didn't believe it at first, but that seems to be the only explanation on why we have powers like we do." She held out her hand and water bended around her arm. It flowed around her and then returned to the glass that she had 'borrowed' the water from. "That should be enough proof for you all that we are related."
"I believe them." Alyssa said moving forward. "Not only because of our similarities, but there is something familiar about them." She smiled towards Ryuu. "So can you take that as enough proof?"
"I guess so." Ryou grumbled. "So what are you going to do now?"
"We should probably stay here until Kimberly comes and finds us." Essi looked out the window. "And it looks like this place isn't too bad. There is no threat of a giant monster showing up around the corner to attack us… and hopefully that guy doesn't show up."
"Hey Alyssa how much space do you have at home?" Rekka asked. "We might have to stay there overnight."
"I have a couch and the floor where you could sleep but there isn't that much room. I live in an apartment with my roommate."
"If you would like you can stay here." Keiichiro said smiling at them. "We have an extra room where you can rest. If you would like."
"Thank you." Ryuu smiled. She slowly stood up but flinched and gripped her side. "Best I just go to bed now I think." She laughed lightly.
"I'll show you the way." Keiichiro nodded.
"I'm going to head back to my apartment." Alyssa stood up. "If we really are going to be leaving this world soon then I'd better deal with my stuff and my roommate. I won't be working here anymore either." Alyssa started talking to herself more than the other as she thought of all the packing she would have to do, not to mention what she was going to do with her stuff. Not that she had a lot of stuff but it was enough that she would have to figure things out. She hoped Mio wouldn't be mad at her.
"Do you want me to help?" Essi asked following her out. "I can be pretty handy at packing and cleaning. My old home was constantly getting messy so I learned how to clean things pretty quickly." She laughed. "Isa and I also were always going off on trips so we had to pack things up as well."
"No thanks, I don't want to have to explain to my roommate where a mysterious sister came from." Alyssa laughed. "But I'll be back tomorrow so I'll see you then."
"Okay." Essi stopped following her.
Family… Alyssa thought. She had a real family that cared about her and wanted to help her. It felt so strange to think about that, it was such unfamiliar territory. Right as Alyssa was about to cross the street a black car almost slammed into her, luckily the air protected her and allowed her a small cushion. Of course that did mean she feel backwards onto her back. "Ow…" She groaned while slowly sitting up.
"Miss!" A man wearing a black suit and glasses jumped out of the car and grabbed Alyssa's arm. He pulled her up in one quick motion and 'gently' threw her into the back of the car. Alyssa probably would have been freaking out and attacking with everything she had if it wasn't for the fact that she recognized the man. He worked for the people that she had been running from. The people she hated more than anyone else, except maybe the aliens. And if she revealed her powers they would lock her away with less chance of escape, and she couldn't stand that.
The car drove on and Alyssa sat there trying to think of a way out.
Rekka watched as Ryuu slept before heading upstairs to where the mews were cleaning up. It was strange to see such a normal world, but it had a secret race of half humans half animals. "Is she asleep?" The blond man named Ryou said walking up towards her.
"Yeah thanks." She nodded. "She didn't take long to fall asleep."
"That's good." He nodded. "So you are really from another world?" He asked after a moment of awkward silence.
"Yeah... I was raised in a world where you could die at any moment from starvation or a monster attacking you." She thought back to those days. "I'm lucky I survived long enough to find my sisters."
Ryou looked at her. "I'm sure your fire helped."
She smiled. "Well a little when I got older."
"HELP!" They looked up as Essi came in breathing heavily. "Alyssa has been kidnaped!"
"What?!" They all gasped.
Essi was gasping for breath. "Here you go." Keiichiro walked over to her with a glass of water that she drowned in a moment.
"I was just heading back inside when a black machine nearly ran her over. A man pushed her in as I was running towards them. I tried to wrap him up in my darkness but he got in the machine as well and it took off faster than I could reach them. I tried to catch up but it was going too fast."
"Machine?" They all asked.
Essi described the machine and Ryou instantly spoke up. "A car?"
"What's a car?" Essi blinked. "I've never seen one of those machines before."
Everyone except Rekka stared at her in shock. Essi's home world had some different styles to it.
"Who would have kidnaped Alyssa?" Ichigo, the pink haired mew, asked.
"I doubt it was the aliens." Zakuro folded her arms. "They wouldn't use a car."
"So who else could it be?" Essi whispered.
Alyssa sat at a long table and looked at her hands while she waited. It had been less than a year since she had been here but it felt longer. She actually wished she hadn't returned. She glanced up from her hands and cringed as she looked at the photos on the wall. In all of them was the little girl with one brown eye and one green one, her. This place had been her home but it had always been more like a prison. Maybe that was why she wasn't really smiling in any of the photos.
"Miss White." Alyssa looked up as the aging butler that her family, no her adopted family, employed. He had been working for them as far back as she could remember. She had liked him, especially when she was young and he let her pull on his black hair, but as she got older and he became more restrictive on her actions she had begun to hate him as much as her adopted parents. "Your father shall be in shortly." He bowed. Oh how she hated the bowing.
"Thank you Rexton." She nodded instantly falling back into her 'proper' persona. She hated the mask she had to wear but she would never be able to escape if she was as rebellious as she wanted to be.
Rexton bowed and then left the room. Alyssa recognized the feeling of loneliness. All her life she had been locked in the big house. At first it hadn't been bad, she had all the toys she wanted and Rexton and the maids were her playmates. But as she got older she discovered that she wanted real friends, ones that were her own age and wouldn't tell her 'I'm busy right now Miss White.' The moment she had figured out how to escape she had. She had no regrets about that. Even if she had all the material things she ever wanted at home she didn't have real friends, like the mews.
"Alyssa!" She looked up as her 'father' came walking in. He was still as large as she remembered him. She had never been able to stand against him. He was a tall fit man who was only in his late thirties but had made a name for himself in the world. Not only did he run one of the biggest companies in Japan but he also had a reputation for being a strict man and a no-nonsense man. His black eyes stared at her angrily. "What do you have to say for yourself?"
"ALYSSA!" Running in was her 'mother.' She had long blonde hair and was probably the perfect image of a trophy wife. Her father had found her in America and married her two years before she had been adopted. After discovering they could have no children of their own they adopted her and decided she would be the heir to the family. That made her someone who needed to be protected and sheltered. Which was not what Alyssa was. "OH MY BABY!" Her 'mother' wrapped her arms around Alyssa's neck. "Where have you been?! Who took you?! You should have called us! We would have come rescued you! Allen dear look at her hair!"
Her mother touched the black tips of her hair and Alyssa felt angry. Of course her mother would freak out over her hair. She had let her hair turn to it's natural state of slightly curly and then had added black tips because she liked how it gave a little more of her true personality room to show. Her 'parents' had always made her wear her hair up in a bun or fancy hairstyle to show off for all the business people she was destined to interact with.
"Dear back off." Her father stepped forward. "She was not kidnaped, she ran away." He frowned. "Alyssa you are in trouble. Don't you know how dangerous it was for you out there. We are lucky you were found so soon. Your mother might have died of worry had we not found you so soon." He sighed. "Do you want that?"
Alyssa looked down pretending to be sorry. "I am sorry Father. It will not happen again."
"Good." He nodded. "Now head up to your room and Tera will take care of your hair."
"Yes Father." Alyssa stood up and bowed slightly. She hated it but she only had to put up with it for a little longer. She was going to escape with her powers and go find her real family. She was going to leave the world with them and never come back! Never!
Chastity looked at Kimberly as she paced back and forth in the main hall of the Fairy Tail Guild. Isa sat next to her and was frowning as well. Chastity felt worried for the sisters she had yet to meet but at the same time she was excited and curious. The place she was in was not only strange and exciting but a completely different world. There was a man sitting over at a table wearing nothing but boxers and freezing a design on the table in probably boredom. At another table a large man was laughing heavily while slapping another woman's back commenting on how to be a real man she shouldn't worry. It was amazing and a little scary she had to admit. Her whole life she had never left Japan but now she had completely left the only world she had known.
"That's it!" Kimberly finally said stopping her pacing. "Isa. Chastity. Get ready." She held up her wrist. "We're going to the only place I can think of them heading."
"Where is that?" Chastity asked.
"Hey can I come this time?!" The pink haired guy named Natsu jumped up.
"Sounds good to me." Gray, the boxer guy, stood up. "Beats sitting around here.
"No." Kimberly frowned. "We don't need that trouble striper and flame breath." She sighed. "I'm betting they went to one of the home worlds that they know to wait. If something happened they would want to go somewhere familiar and safe. Since Ryuu is still healing I doubt she would want to go to her world where she would probably have to do work right when she got back so I'm guessing they would go to Rekka's home world. It's a place called Soul Society and a place where they would probably be safe from that hunter."
"Are you sure it was the hunter who came after them and made them leave?" Isa asked.
"Yeah. I had heard rumors before about a man who hunted down our species, a hunter who targets our women, I'm betting it's him. Because he's the only one besides us who can move between worlds."
"What rumors?" Chastity asked. "Aren't we the only ones of our species?"
"No there is at least one other that I have met before, a friend of moms…. Okay lets go now. Thank you for letting us stay here." SHe nodded to the members of Fairy Tail. "I'm sure we'll be back." She clicked her watch and a portal opened. "Go on." She nodded.
Isa ran through first and then Chastity. She felt an excitement to see the next world. She couldn't wait to see what it had to offer.
