Thank you for correcting my mistakes about the courtroom jargon. I am still a little embarrassed that I don't know everything that goes on in a court room so please don't ask me for legal advice I do not know anything.- Pheofox22

Exiled Emotions

That point on Palladium left Magix forever to go and travel the realms to find Avalon. It took months of jumping around different worlds. He started in Tides and left for a sandy desert land of Maorock. Maorock was very barren and a wasteland with nothing for miles. Palladium walked for miles on end until he stumbled upon the colony of Maorock.

"Have you seen a traveler passing by?" Palladium asked a small child. The small child ran away in behind her mother.

"Sorry for Octavia, yes there was a traveler…a paladin who saved us from a sand worm," the mother muttered.

"Did you say a paladin? Where did he go?" Palladium asked her. Octavia's mother pointed towards the dunes. "Thanks."

Palladium went towards the dunes going very slowly watching the skies. Suddenly Palladium fell down a hole. A loud roar echoed through the tunnel down and Palladium felt a draft as he was sent upward and screamed as a giant sand worm rose out from the sand sending him upward.

"PHILLIP!" Avalon shouted as he grabbed Palladium out of the sky and put him safely down on the ground. Palladium just watched in awe as Avalon drew his sword filled it with light energy and swung it with all his might. The sand worm slammed to the ground dead and Avalon landed next to Palladium. "What are you doing here?"

Palladium explained all the facts he experienced and when he was finished Avalon's face softened. Avalon threw himself on Palladium. "I am so happy to see you."

"I am happy to see you too." Palladium said sniffing Avalon's hair. A musky odor wavered into his nostrils. Palladium smiled and Avalon kissed him passionately. They walked to Avalon's tent where Avalon was living. Avalon and Palladium began to live together in harmony and without any discrimination.

2 Months Later…

"I cannot believe that happened!" Bloom said stretching in her Enchantix outfit. "Valtor was really hard to beat."

"I feel that we're missing something…or rather someone," Stella answered.

"Two someones…Avalon and Palladium," Flora exclaimed.

"I'd like to see them before graduating," Musa said.

"Me too," Aisha said too. Bloom watched as they sighed in unison.

"We need to find them," Bloom said. Musa smiled Tecna tapped on her phone.

"There are some activity about an elf and a paladin in the deserts of Maorock," Tecna replied showing them the posts on social media.

"That is easy" Stella remarked taking Tecna's phone. "Let's go!"

"I don't think it's that easy. Maorock is a desert it's full of dangerous things like sand worms…" Musa remarked.

"Sandworm shmandworm we're the winx! It will be a piece of cake," Stella said. "Get it? Cake is a dessert too!"

"Stella its desert. It is not a dessert," Tecna said slapping her forehead.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go see the professors," Bloom exclaimed as they put their hands in a pile.

The wind picked up sand and threw it against the tent as a sandstorm started to brew. Palladium liked playing house with Avalon. He would make the meals and clean the sand out of Avalon's socks when he came home. Other than the odd sandstorm sweeping through he was happy. They did not need to go back to Magix and teach, although Palladium missed the girls dearly. He sighed as he worked on a stew in the kitchen area of the tent.

As the wind picked up so did the fairies in their Enchantix attire. They flew for miles through endless hurricane like winds. It was farther than Bloom hoped it would be but they spotted the tent rocking in the wind a few minutes later.

"I think this is it," Tecna said holding out her phone.

"There isn't another tent for miles," Musa replied.

"That's got to be them," Bloom said flying down to the tent. All of a sudden the winds picked up and pushed Musa and Aisha back. The winds thrashed around making Stella and Flora fall. Soon after the tent began to unhinge from the ground. Bloom was pushed back as she began to fire at the tent that rose into the sky.

"Everyone make sure to secure the tent," Palladium instructed. Each of the Winx shot energy at the tent. Flora made a wall of vines to keep out the wind as Aisha made a barrier around the tent. Palladium sighed. "I was almost toast. Thank you girls."

"Where's Avalon?" Aisha asked.

"He's usually working as a paladin. Saving people from sand worms," Palladium answered. "Avalon! He might be caught in the storm."

"Then let's move," Bloom declared.

Avalon coughed as he flew around in the sand filled winds. Palladium was waiting and he was late after defeating flying wild boars. Avalon was thrust backwards and one of the bones in his wing snapped. He fell from the sky and landed in the sand.

"I am coming Phillip," Avalon coughed.

"Looks like sand," Stella muttered.

"Is that him?" Bloom asked through the wall of sand wind.

"Bloom?" Avalon spluttered.

"Professor Avalon," Bloom said as they helped him up.

"Just Mr. Avalon, I am not a professor anymore," Avalon exclaimed. "My wing!"

"Let's see," Flora said looking up at him. "I can cure this with herbal tea."

"Thank you Flora," Avalon remarked and they hoisted Avalon on their shoulders began flying around to the tent.

"So you want us to be at graduation?" Avalon asked as Flora began to bandage his wing.

"You were both inspiring teachers," Stella said.

"Some of the best," Tecna said.

"Thank you," Palladium said. "We cannot. We're both banished from Magix."

"Why can't you go in disguise?" Musa asked.

"That Fu Manchu mustache fooled me," Stella quipped.

"They will all recognize us," Palladium said. "No, we cannot go back!"

"Phillip, the girls still like us even though we're labelled differently," Avalon said.

"I know Cedric but I like it here," Palladium said. "I don't want to go back if we're not wanted."

"All the girls at Alfea love you," Bloom said. "We don't care if you're gay or straight."

"That's heartwarming Bloom but let's face it the faculty knows we're in a relationship and office romances are off limits," Avalon remarked.

"We can talk to Faragonda and get her to realize this is discrimination," Tecna offered.

Later…

"No, the council has spoken. They cannot come back as teachers," Faragonda said.

"We want them back for graduation, shouldn't they see how well we did under their supervision?" Musa asked.

"I guess as guests they can return but they must go back straight away." Faragonda answered.

"Faragonda! This has gone on far enough," Palladium said storming into Faragonda's office. "I love teaching and I love Cedric, why can't I have both things that I care for?"

"You! You are both banished!" Faragonda answered as Avalon came into the room as well.

"We're trying to say we think this will be good for the girls," Avalon said as girls from freshman to senior piled into the room cheering Avalon and Palladium's names.

"I didn't want to fire you I really didn't. Fine you can have your jobs back, but no canoodling in the teacher's lounge," Faragonda said.

"That's a deal," Avalon said shaking Faragonda's hand. Palladium shook her hand too as the crowd behind them cheered.

Epilogue

"Everyone, come look!" Palladium burst into the teacher's lounge. A diamond engagement ring was on his ring finger. "Cedric proposed last night."

"It's not every day a teacher gets married around here," Dufour joked.

"Congratulations my friend," Griselda answered raising her cup of coffee. Palladium was shocked at this gesture, it just goes to show you Griselda does have a heart. She just hides it really well.

And they lived happily ever after.
