"No one can stop me. No one. No one! They'll all see! Ehheeheehee!"
Daichi chuckled to himself as he dragged an unconscious and rather bloody Tsuchimikado down the halls of a silent a hospital. A trail of smeared blood ran from the center of a hallway, around several corners and into the metal doors of a elevator.
Daichi and Tsuchimikado descended down to the ground level where Daichi would resume his plan. He fidgeted with anxiety, still worried about how much time he had left. Last Order is still exposed to the outside air, without the machinery needed to preserve her life. He needed to finish his business.
The elevator door opened and Daichi dragged the dead weight all the way back to his room and bounded Tsuchimikado's hands with a curtain. He then ran up to the weakened Last Order and checked her vitals. He let out a sigh after seeing everything was still stable for the moment. He opened his laptop once more and started logging into the program once more. Except...
"Greetings/Return"
A small text box popped up on his screen over the main program scheme.
There was a blinking line by the text indicating where the cursor lied, but nothing else appeared on the screen. New text began typing itself into the box.
"You're probably wondering what this is/Return"
Diachi began moving his mouse around and attempted to type into his computer.
"Oh, don't bother with that./Return
There's no use, I am in full control of this computer/Return"
"What is this!? Is this some kind of hack? ... I knew it... They would come after me! They would go this far to stop me!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about/Return
But what I do know, is that you are compromising the integrity of a lot of really important people to me/Return
Especially that one on the surface over there/Return"
"Wh-what is this!? Who are you!?"
"This is an ultimatum/Return
Who I am is unimportant/Return
Release this girl back into her life preservation tank and earn the chance of staying alive, or die/Shift
The choice is yours/Return
But I must say/Tab
Your time is running out/Return"
Daichi grabbed his computer monitor with both of his hands and shook it violently.
"Who do you think you are?!" Spit splattered across his screen. "What makes you think you have the power to choose someone's life or death!?"
"I am asking you the same question/Return
Your time is running very short/Return
You have approximately 3:00 minutes to decide/Return"
A small window appeared in the corner of the screen with a running stopwatch starting from 3:00 minutes down. He began to look around the room, behind curtains, outside, looking for a possible threat. A sniper maybe? Out the window, there was open space, but trees and other buildings. Too many obstacles for a gunman. Or maybe gas? He looked up at the air vent. There was too much open space for it to gas him. Besides, his door was open and the only way to completely gas him out is if they covered the entire floor with it, but there were also other patients on that floor. Too much collateral damage for the amount of precision his attacker already showed him. He peered into the hallways but nothing was there except for the streaks of blood he created from dragging the unconscious body of Tschukimikado.
The timer on the clock hit 0:00 followed by a series of beeps. After catching his attention, the box disappeared. New text began to appear again in the other box.
"Times up/Return"
As if signaling the end to it all, the text box disappeared as well. But nothing happened.
No gunfire. No gas. No abrupt pain or signs of death in his body. Nothing changed. However...
Tapping noises that resembled footsteps. Except, there were three at a time, rather than the two steps that come with normal human walking. Two steps that sounded like rubber souls then a hard tap. Two rubber souls, one hard tap. Two rubber souls, one hard tap...
Daichi listened. He didn't dare stick his head out. Rather, he stood there frozen. Listening. They grew closer. Louder. Keeping a steady tempo of taps along the way. Daichi backed away from the door. He cowered all the way back to the window and hid in the shadows of the room created by the contrast in light coming in from the window. The tapping eventually ended when someone appeared at the door. A crutch in one arm, grocery bag in the other hand, white hair and tshirt. Daichi froze at the sight.
It wasn't a abnormal sight to see an injured person who needs to rely on a crutch to appear at a hospital. However a horrible killer intent was resonating from this person. A heavy aura filled the air, creating crushing pressure. Diachi could feel his heart pounding and his legs begging to lead the way out of the door. The only problem was, there was only one way out, and a certain albino boy was blocking it.
Accelerator kept facing in the same direction and didn't move from his place.
"This city has no shortage of crazy fucks like you around."
"Y-you're..."
Accelerator let his arm holding the crutch limp, letting the crutch fall to the floor. He slowly reached up towards his neck and flipped the switch on a choke collar like device.
"Even if I'm the killer of over 10,000 people, you assholes are still on an entirely different level of evil from me."
The image of Accelerator vanished from the doorway. Daichi suddenly felt his neck wrapped tightly by something. He also realized he was suddenly elevated from the ground and he was against a wall. There were cracks in the sheet rock behind him indicating he had moved at incredible speeds. Accelerator held him by the throat, just loosely enough to let minimal air through.
"You've gotten to the point where you can't even tell that you're twisted."
"AAAKKKkkkkkkkkk!"
"I know I'm evil, and I couldn't give a shit to whether you live or not, but that makes me better than you. You don't even know what you are, and you think you can judge someone's life. You're lower than scum."
"AKK"
"I won't even give you the chance to speak. You'll just try to save your own ass by talking your way out. Not worth the time to hear you."
Accelerator began squeezing harder. His fingers dug into Daichi's neck. His fingers seemed like individual knives digging into the soft flesh of Daichi's neck. His face grew more red, and then eventually blue to purple...
Darkness seemed to fill the hospital.
