Previously on DP:

I stared in shock at the sight in front of me. Huge room, probably the size of the pantheon itself, stood before me. Elaborate painting hung upon the walls. Hundreds of pieces of pottery and ancient relics were on short marble columns, as if on display. There was a heavily jeweled throne 40 feet in front of me. There was no one currently sitting on it, but I heard a voice say "Cassidy?" I had heard that voice before, but it seemed like forever ago since I had. I turned around, and there before was someone I never thought I'd see again.

"Joseph?"

CASSIDY'S POV

I stared in shock at the figure in front of me. I must have been dreaming, because the real Joseph is dead...isn't he?

He smiled at me "Yeah, it's me" (A/N: Holmes, think of the foreign exchange student preforming Romeo and Juliet, other readers, ignore this. Holmes, you know who you are)

I tried to say something, but my voice stopped working. I tried to move, but my legs were stiff.

"Well...say something" he said with a sad smile. My body finally decided to start working. I ran towards him as fast as I could. I grabbed him around the waist, as tight as I possibly could. I still couldn't believe he was here. Actually here! I was so happy, I didn't notice the tears of joy streaming down my face until Joseph wiped them away.

"Hey...c...can't...breathe" he squeezed out. I loosened my grip on him, but didn't let go. I was too afraid he would leave again. I looked up at him. He didn't look too different, but somethings were changed. His hair was styled so it was spiky, and he was lean, like he'd been working out. He was about my height, as apposed to being 3 inches shorter than me. He had a wide smile on his face. I hugged him hard one more time before I let go.

I didn't know what to say except "You...you're alive?"

He smiled, and nodded.

"H...how?" I asked.

His face grew solemn but he drew a breathe. "See, when I entered the woods..." I shuttered and held back tears, remembering vividly my brothers (supposedly) dead body. I also remember a certain son of Hades comforting me. Wow...I really hate that guy. Any thoughts of likeness towards him are completely gone.

"...some lady talked to me. She told me...things...and asked if I wanted to go with her. I said-"

"What ''things'' did she tell you?" I asked worriedly.

He frowned "Well, I can't tell you...not yet anyway!" he added quickly, seeing my sad face. I nodded solemnly, motioning for him to continue.

"Well, I told her that I would. I even asked if you could come, she said you would eventually. As soon as I said yes, I was transported here. I've only been here for a few days though. So, why are you crying?"

He doesn't know what happened, does he?

"Joe...you...you've been...dead...I found your body in the forest." I said sadly looking down at my feet.

His eyes widened. He struggled for words. He finally managed to get out one word.

"Dead?"

NICO'S POV

Argus waved before rolling up his window, ans driving the 'strawberry advertised' van off into the direction of the city. It was about a 30 minute drive, one with a lot of silence. All three of us had our headphones in. Amber's were pink, green and orange. Ava's were blue with white. Mine, were...black (shocker) with skulls on them. Argus dropped us off next to a park. It was almost 9:00 though. We had rooms in a hotel near by for 2 days while we figured out what where we were going to go. Amber suggested we catch a cab to the hotel. We nodded and hailed a taxi.

-Line Break-

The hotel was average. Nothing too fancy, and not crappy. Ava said she would check us in, so me and Amber sat in the little waiting chairs. After about 10 minutes, Ava came back with three room keys. Her and Amber were sharing a room, while I got an adjoining room. We took the elevator up and opened out respective doors. I looked around. There was a twin sized bed with it's headboard up against the wall to my left. There was a cabinet for clothes with a small TV set on top of it to my right. A small vanity mirror with a single drawer was a couple of feet in front of me. I walked past the bed, dropping my bag on it, where a small coffee table was set up, about 2 feet tall, maybe a few inches shorter, with a couch up against the wall behind it. Opposite to the couch was a sliding wooden door. I opened it and felt around for a light switch, only to reveal a bathroom. The shower and toilet to my left, a sink right in front me, and a little hanger rack to my right (A/N: in my profile, right above the stories, is a link to a picture of the room). I turned the light off, and closed the door. I sat on my bed, and fell backwards onto my back. I stared at the ceiling. I had no idea where we were going to look for Cassidy. She just had to go and disappear. I rolled my eyes, forget what I said about liking anything about her. After a few minutes of just lying there, I sat up slowly and decided to take a shower.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Amber and Ava entered their room. Their room had two twin beds, a cabinet with a small TV, a coffee table, and a bathroom (A/N: same as Nico's but with two beds). The girls put their bags on their beds and sat down. They faced each other, and started up a conversation about how Ava had never been to Disneyland. They talked on this for a while, and eventually decided that themselves plus Cassidy were all going to go together some day, when things weren't so crazy and none of them were missing. After a while, they really got to know each other. Amber found out that Ava really liked indie rock. Ava discovered that Amber liked One Direction. They both didn't really listen to the others music, but they still talked.

"So, name your favorite food, sport, drink, color, animal, and crush if you have one" Amber said.

"Okay..." Ava started "...enchiladas,bacon and cheese burgers, volleyball, hot tea, blue, wolves, no one. Now you?" she answered.

"Okay, french toast, softball, apple juice, blue, horse, and...uh... Leo Valdez" she said blushing (A/N: I know I haven't really included any HOO characters, but their in this too now).

Ava nodded in understanding. Leo was definitely cool, one of her good friends, but she didn't like him like that. After a couple of more minutes of chatting *cough cough, 30 minutes*, they both took showers and climbed into bed.

"Good night Ava" mumbled Amber, already half asleep.

"Goodnight Amber" yawned Ava, drifting into a peaceful slumber.

While the girls slept peacefully, Nico stayed awake, listening to music, since he couldn't fall asleep. He was frustrated with everyone. Chiron, for threatening him to 'play nice' with Cassidy, Ava and Amber, for being complete strangers, Cassidy for disappearing. It's been 4 days since anyone last saw her. They don't even have proof that she's missing, maybe she just ran away. But no, Chiron insists that she did not leave on her own will, completely. Nico guessed that meant she kind of did but kind of didn't. Gods, his life was crazy. He eventually got droopy eyed and finally fell asleep.

JOSEPH'S POV

After Cassidy explained that it had looked I had died, I was shocked. She told me what she went through, what my gruesome body looked like. I felt so bad for her. I wanted to breakdown right there, but I held myself together. She explained how she got here, and the woman who brought her here sounded like the same woman I had talked to. We both agreed that she looked really familiar, but we couldn't place her face. She told me how camp wasn't treating her all that great.

"And lastly Joe...I'm so sorry" she said, looking at her feet in shame.

"You mean for that argument we had before I...ya know...died? It's alright-" I said, but she cut me off.

"NO! IT'S NOT ALRIGHT!" she yelled, then took a deep breath. "You try getting in an argument with me, then not even a hour later, finding my dead body in the forest. Covered with blood, realizing you never even got to apologize" she said, sniffling by the end. It began to sink in. I started crying, and held my sister close to me, planning to never let her go.
