Chapter 9

Okay I know it took me a long time to get the last chapter out and it was really short so I'm hoping this one will make up for that, and a big thanks to Racoon for the encouragement.

At the house

It was shortly after a half hour after the taxied roped us off at the house when the phone rang. "I'll get it." I said getting up to leave the room.

It was getting hectic so I was happy to leave. Tamaki-senpai was jumping all around looking at everything. The twins were trying to get Jack to show them the family album they found and Honey was eating the cake he'd brought. Takashi, Kyoya and Haruhi were being the only calm ones. Although I got the feeling Amelia didn't realize Haruhi was actually a girl because she kept blushing at the smallest things.

"Hello, Hallings residence."

"Rose? Hey it's Will. I didn't know you weren't staying in Japan. Did something happen?"

"No my friends that I met wanted to see America so we all came back with Jack." Will is the same age as me and lost his mom at a young age as well. So he knew how it felt to loose someone that close to you and helped me out a lot.

"Oh, that's cool."

"Yeah, I'm glad I got the chance to see everyone again. Hang on a sec I'll go get Jack."

"Okay," I set down the phone and went to get Jack.

"Jack, Will's on the phone for you."

"Oh, Okay. I'll be right back."

Jacks POV

"Hey man. How's it going?"

"Hey. Not bad. I was actually wondering if you wanted to hang out today, but since it seems you have a lot of company over we can do it later." In the background you could hear a loud crashing sound shortly followed by Rose yelling at the twins and Tamaki to settle down.

"Well actually, it'd be fine if you don't mind the company and we can take Rose out to make up for that dinner we promised her."

"Really that'd be great and I could put my Japanese skills to use."

"Sure just don't embarrass yourself."

"Whatever man."

"Hahaha okay let me go ask Rose and then I'll text you."

"Okay. We'll meet by the ice-cream truck in the park."

"Okay. Now don't be late for class and actually pay attention."

"Whatever. I'll see you after school."

"See ya bye."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone and headed back to the quieted living room, not surprised to see Tamaki in the corner and the Twins sitting on the couch in full attention posture with Rose glaring at them. "You guys made her mad didn't you?" I laughed when they nodded their heads.

"Wow so you really are part of the Morinozuka family." Mitsukuni said with a smile on his face.

"What?" Rose asked snapping out of the glare.

"Yeah, you're so sweet, talkative, small, and not easily angered. I was sure you were more my little sister than Mori's."

"Wait did he just say little sister wouldn't she be your older sister?" Amelia asked totally confused.

"Well no actually he's seventeen and oh Haruhi's a girl." Rose answered and sort of confused me by bringing up the fact of Haruhi.

"What really!?" She was looking between Mitsukuni and Haruhi, with a big blush spreading each time she'd switch, and Rose just laughed until she started crying. Which made everyone else in the room start laughing.

"Oh yeah what did Will and you talk about Jack?" Rose asked

"He was wondering if we all wanted to hang out after school today."

"Oh that'll be fun!"

"Yeah and he said he'll treat us all to dinner at the Resavore."

"Really that's expensive does he realize how many people there are?"

"Oh yeah he said he's fine with it."

"I have a feeling your ling so you're going to pay for half."

"What."

"Yup."

"Not fair what about you?"

"Oh I left my wallet at the house."

"Gees you're so irresponsible."

"Yeah sorry bout that."

"Whatever, let's go."

At the park

Rose's POV

Once we got to the park it was hard keeping Tamaki-senpai and the twins from running off. Honey played on the playground while the rest sat on the benches talking.

"Tama-Sempai you can't go too far or you'll get lost!" I shouted after him as we were running further and further away from everyone, but as soon as I said that he stopped. When he turned around he had a sort of shocked look. "What's wrong?"

"You called me Tama-sempai."

"Oh, Really? Sorry."

"No it was super cute and adorable!" He suddenly picked me up and started spinning me around in a circle. "You now have to call me that." He started laughing.

"Okay, Okay. Just…"Before I could finish I heard a voice yelling from the opposite direction.

"Put her down, Pervert!" I turned to see, Will running full speed towards us.

"Who's that?" Tama-sempai asked.

"That's Will. He's really protective of me when Jacks not around." Tamaki had set me down but was still technically hugging me, which made the situation worse when Will finally reached us.

Will was glaring at Tama-sempai as he pulled me out of his grasp.

"Hey Will, its okay he's one of my friends from Japan."

"I still don't trust him."

"Hi, I'm Tamaki Suo." Tama Stuck out his hand in a friendly manner. I was worried until Will received the gesture.

"And I'm Will Suthen." Will finally loosened the grip on me and I looked between the two, Will still a little on edge and Tama having a big creepy grin on his face.

"Well we should head back towards the others they're probably getting worried." I said trying to release the tension.

"Okay" Will said but he then gave me a big bear hug. "Welcome back I missed my best friends little sis practically my own." While he said this he looked right at Tamaki.

"Oh wow we have so much in common already! Cause you know she's my best friends little sister as well!" Tama said not realizing how sarcastic he was being.

After we met up with everyone again I took the honor of introducing everyone.

Jack walked next to me as we headed to the restaurant and asked "Why are Tamaki and Will glaring at each other?"

"Because I called Tamaki-sempai, Tama-sempai and he hugged me because I was "cute and adorable" …"

"What?!" He said cutting me off.

"Oh get over it. It was just a hug, you hug me all the time."

"But I'm your brother."

"And he's a friend."

"So what?"

"Whatever but Will freaked out, just like you, and now he doesn't trust Tama."

"Frankly he's not on great terms right now with me either but you already told me not to be over protective either."

"Yup, and you're doing a fantastic job."

"Whatever."

I didn't realize it until he started talking Takashi had slowed to our pass and said, "you don't need to worry about her I will be there to protect her."

"Okay I do feel a little better about that and be especially aware of Tamaki and the Twins."

"Of course."

"I have a feeling you two are going to get really close." I announced and rolled my eyes.

It was almost an hour after we got to the restaurant when I got a call on my cellphone. "Hey Mom what's up?"

"Just wondering where y'all are at?"

"Oh we went out to dinner with Amelia and Will."

"Okay when are planning to be home?"

"In about half an hour or so."

"Okay just don't stay out to late."

"We won't."

"Love ya."

"Love ya to bye."

"Bye."

"Hey Jack, Mom's home should we head out?"

"Ya let's go." He signaled for the waiter to bring the check and to my surprise the Host Club members pitched in with the bill so we weren't all broke.

"Well I should head home. Amy, I'll walk you home as well." Will said after he gave a big yawn.

"Ya thanks."

"Bye everyone." They both said walking the opposite direction from us.

"See ya later."

On our way back to the house, Honey fell asleep so Takashi was caring him, and everyone else seemed to calm down.

Tamaki's POV

"Hey Rose?" I asked

"Ya Tama?"

"Did you really want to move to Japan?"

"Well at first I was a little skeptical. I mean getting a random call from a person I've heard about but have never really known years after my mom died and saying, hey move half way across the world so I can finally be the person I'm supposed to be. But now that I know everyone and have made good friends I don't mind it." She turned and gave me a genuine smile which made me blush and turn away.

"But what about your family here?"

"Well I will miss them but It's not like I'll never get to see or talk to them and Amy is really the only friend I have here so ya it'll all be okay."

"You know, I think you're one of the strongest girls I have ever met."

"Really, who else?"

"Haruhi." Out of the corner of my eye I saw Rose look up at Haruhi.

"Yeah, you're right."

Anyway here you go guys I hope this makes up for the long wait and shortness of last chapter and big thanks to everyone who has stuck up with me and thanks for all the support. Love you all 3
