A/N: Alright so I saw a PM today again about this story and I just wanted to say sorry again for missing that PM! (You know who you are, I did reply!) So typcially I think this where I would write my massive apology letter and tell everyone how sorry I am, but. . . I think I've pretty much covered that in everything I've posted. Still again, I am seriously terribly sorry about the long wait! Now as I've mentioned before I wasn't the happiest with this chapter and had a lot of issues with it. Anyways here it is chapter 13 I hope you like it and I will talk a bunch more down below about my thoughts on this chapter.
Sachiko jumped with a deep breath as her eyes shot open and she looked around quickly, sleep still having a decent grasp on her mind. She was half covered in a blanket that was being pulled on by something on the couch. Sachiko closed one eye as she looked around, her eyes still sensitive to the light. She could see Yumi's bare torso sticking out from the blanket whereas her legs down were tightly wrapped in it. Sachiko herself was completely nude and she couldn't help but feel like her head was swaying back and forth a bit as she yawned.
There was two empty wine bottles and the remains of their dinner from the night before scattered across the small table they had bought with the couch that Yumi was sleeping on. She sighed when she saw her white shirt of all colors with a nice red stain on it most likely from the tipped over wine bottle. The rest of her clothes were spread around the couch, it looked like they had savagely ripped one another clothes off instead of made love. The lasting feeling Sachiko had between her legs signified otherwise though, Yumi did something to her.
"Oh, my head is killing me." Sachiko complained to herself as she tried to stand up and stumbled, everything swaying as she tried to regain her composure. She could only conclude that she was still feeling the effects of the alcohol a bit or that maybe she was really just that tired. Either way the only thing on her mind was headache medicine which they had in the kitchen.
Sachiko slowly and groggily made her way towards her bag where she had the medicine totally uncaring that she was still completely nude. She wasn't thinking about that with the headache, at least she wasn't until she poured herself a glass of water to get the medicine down and saw her phone with a message.
Sachiko chuckled before taking one of the pills and drinking some water. "I wonder what he would say if he saw us now?" Sachiko asked herself smiling a little. She knew it was unladylike in an extreme way but she was at home and just spent the night with the girl she loved. "I need to take a shower. . . Maybe it will help clear up my head." She decided as she made her way back into the other room to find Yumi still asleep, her hair messy and what looked like a bite mark on her shoulder. Sachiko just blushed a little as she took the blanket and covered Yumi up properly which the younger girl reacted to by stretching a little before turning over with a little grunt. She was still deep asleep and Sachiko was alright with that, she honestly felt like she could join her.
Something was pulling at her to take a shower though, perhaps her upbringing and the fact that it was already ten in the morning. She wouldn't dare sleep this late when living with her parents. Sachiko yawned once more as she slowly made her way up to the shower and started the water. She was still a bit wavy in the head, but the water felt good. In fact everything about this morning was good thus far aside from the headache. She was waking up at her own time with the love of her life without any consequences. Once Sachiko thought of it that way her headache really was a thing of the past and she couldn't help but finish her shower with a smile.
Once back downstairs she cleaned up the table and their clothes before setting a clean pair of clothes for Yumi to change into. Once that area was taken care of Sachiko wandered into the kitchen and looked through her bag on the counter. When she found what she was looking for Sachiko took her phone and dialed a number.
"H-hello?" A girl answered with loud music in the background. "One second let me find a quieter place to talk."
Sachiko agreed as she waited patiently, she could tell the music was getting quieter she finally spoke. "C-can you hear me?"
"Yes, yes I can hear you, who is this?" The girl asked with one hand pressed against her ear.
"Me and my wife met you in America." Sachiko responded as the girl thought for a second before going wide eyed realizing who it was.
"Oh, the party animals!" Cherry responded with excitement as Sachiko blushed a little. "Make any videos lately?"
"No, we haven't done anything like that. We've been busy moving in to the new house which brings me to my point in calling you. . . I would like to invite you to our wedding here at our house this next weekend. It won't cost you anything, I can cover it all." Sachiko assured her as Cherry stuttered a bit dumbfounded for a moment.
"I-I would love to, but I don't want you to pay for it. You have a wedding to pay for after all and it is a bit short notice." Cherry responded truthfully but a little sad at the same time.
"Like I said, it won't cost you anything. I have more than enough money to cover the expenses. I'm sure Yumi would be delighted to see you too." Sachiko replied as Cherry scratched the back of her head and sighed.
"I'll see if I can get the time off and send you a text message alright?" Cherry asked as Sachiko nodded.
"Yes, that should be fine. I hope to hear from you soon. We would both be very happy if you could make it."
"I'll see what I can do, but I should get back to work. It was nice talking to you, hopefully I will see you soon."
"Alright, have a good night." Sachiko said as she hung up the phone and looked towards the living room where Yumi was still asleep with one leg hanging off the edge of the couch. Sachiko just chuckled from this, even when Yumi was sleeping she was carefree.
"Alright, now the tough part. . ." Sachiko sighed as she opened her contacts and pressed dial on the one she was looking for.
"H-Hello?"
"Who is it? Tell them you'll call them back." A voice said in the background as Sachiko raised an eyebrow.
"It's Sachiko and she can hear you." Youko replied before paying attention to the call. "Good morning, Sachiko how are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you for asking Onee-sama. I see you and Sei-sama seem to be hitting it off well." Sachiko said as Youko glanced to Sei who was looking at her while laying in bed.
"You could say that, but I doubt we're 'hitting' it off as well you and Yumi-chan are." Youko replied as Sachiko blushed a little but shrugged when she looked back to Yumi's one leg hanging off the couch.
"Well, I can't complain. . . I didn't call you to talk about that though, I wanted to tell you that we have decided a wedding date. It will be next Saturday at our house." Sachiko explained as Youko smiled widely.
"Oh, my that's quite sudden. Excited to really get married?" Youko asked as Sachiko smiled this time.
"Yes, very excited. I just wanted to tell you first, I'll be spreading the word. I am just waiting for Yumi to wake up." Sachiko said as Youko raised an eyebrow.
"Dare I ask if there is a video?"
Sachiko blushed deeply from this as she glanced towards the living room. "N-no video, that was just a drunken accident."
"Well listen, I will call you in an hour or so. We can come over and discuss the wedding when we are awake and Yumi-chan is up." Youko said as Sachiko nodded.
"That sounds fun, we will be here all day, I am just going to call my mother and tell her." Sachiko explained as she saw Yumi lift her head and glance around slowly. She didn't even need to be close to tell Yumi's head wasn't all there.
"How about your father, Sachiko? Have you talked with him?" Youko asked as Sachiko thought about the day before and the missed call on her phone.
"Not entirely." Sachiko responded as Youko sighed.
"What exactly does that mean?" Youko asked as Sachiko sighed this time and shook her head.
"He came to the house yesterday wanting to apologize, but I told him to leave." Sachiko answered as she watched Yumi finally sit up exposing herself to Sachiko. Sachiko just took a heavier than normal breath as Yumi grabbed her clothes and started putting them on.
"Sachiko, maybe you should give him a chance. I know what he said is terribly wrong and can never be taken back, but people can change. He may be serious." Youko explained as Sachiko listened with an impatient sigh.
"Yes, perhaps he is but I won't allow him to say such things and then try and take it back a few days later. People can change, but right now I don't know if I want to allow him back into my life. Now I have to get going, the person that actually does care for me needs me right now. I will call in a little while." Sachiko said in a fairly irritated tone as she hung up the phone and grabbed some headache medicine for Yumi who was stumbling into the kitchen.
"Here, Yumi take these, you'll feel better." Sachiko said as she handed Yumi the medicine and went to grab her a drink of water.
"Thank you." Yumi groaned as she took the medicine and sat down at the table. "How long have you been up?"
"A little over an hour. I didn't want to wake you though so I cleaned up the table and brought you some clothes." Sachiko explained as Yumi smiled.
"Thank you. . . I can't even imagine how you don't feel as bad as I do." Yumi said as Sachiko chuckled.
"My medicine has had time to take effect and I've already taken a shower. You should too, our friends are coming over soon, I set the wedding date." Sachiko said as Yumi looked at her a little surprised. "It will be next weekend just like we talked about last night."
"N-next weekend?" Yumi asked as Sachiko nodded and looked at her a little weird.
"You do remember saying that don't you?" Sachiko asked as Yumi closed her eyes trying to think.
"No actually, but I don't want you to change it. I think next weekend will be a good time." Yumi said as Sachiko smiled. "I think I'll take that shower now though, maybe it will help me remember things."
"Then I'll tell our friends to meet us here in an hour."
A few hours later. . .
"Here, Sachiko let me help you, I don't want you to drop any of it." Yumi said as she walked into the kitchen and helped Sachiko grab a bowl of chips.
"Thanks." Sachiko said as she leaned over for a quick kiss as the two made their way back into the living room where their friends were at. Youko and Sei were sitting on the couch with Touko, while the others were sitting on a few blankets on the floor.
"You two are so close it's almost disgusting." Sei commented as Sachiko raised an eyebrow confused while the rest chuckled. "I thought people only did that passing by kiss thing in movies, but yet again you two surprise me."
"It's called being open with our relationship. I am not afraid to love my wife." Sachiko replied back with a grin as Youko cleared her throat a little.
"Yes, well I think we all know you're not afraid to show Yumi-chan your love." Sei commented as the girls chuckled a little and Sachiko pulled out another blanket for her and Yumi to sit on.
"So you've decided a wedding date?" Touko asked curiously as Sachiko smiled and put her arm around Yumi.
"Yes, we have. We will be getting married next weekend and of course everyone except Sei is invited." Sachiko said sarcastically as Sei squinted at her. "Perhaps if you were to come with a significant other I would be more open to the idea. Someone needs to keep you on a leash." Sachiko said as Sei grinned.
"That sounds like a great wedding present. I'm sure you and Yumi-chan would have a great time with a leash. You could even make a new video!" Sei teased before getting her mouth covered by Youko.
"Speaking of that, mind explaining what happened the other day?" Noriko asked Youko and Sei who both just blushed.
"Noriko, that isn't any of our business." Shimako quickly said as Youko cleared her throat catching all the girls attention.
"It's fine, I guess it would be a good time. . ." Youko said with a deep breath. "If you haven't already guessed, Sei and I are seeing one another."
"See, that wasn't so hard." Sachiko said with a smile as Sei chuckled.
"At least we could tell them without destroying a hotel room, making a sex tape, and being babysat by a stripper." Sei teased as Yumi blushed deeply which they all laughed at except Sachiko who just gave Yumi a tight protective hug.
"You forgot about getting married." Yoshino added as Sachiko sighed and shook her head.
"Anyways. . ." Yumi started through her embarrassed beet red face. "I think that's enough about our personal life, I do believe we were here to talk about the wedding."
"She is right, we are here to talk about a wedding." Sachiko agreed as the girls finished laughing at them. ". . .Besides that only happened once." Sachiko defended as she grabbed a chip from the bowl in front of her.
"Why are we videotaping this?"
"I told you Yumi, I don't want to forget this. . ."
Sachiko dropped the chip in her hand as the previous night hit her like a truck. The only problem is she had no idea where the noise was coming from, unfortunately though everyone could hear it.
"I'll make sure you forget nothing. . ."
Sachiko's eyes widened as she looked around, she should have been able to find it, there were only a few moving boxes scattered around.
"At least we get to break in the couch officially."
Everyone froze for a second as Sei, Touko, and Youko glanced around at the couch they were sitting on. It wasn't until they all heard a loud moan from the video that all three stood up and stared at the couch like a massacre happened on it.
"You're not going to need this clothing for what I have in mind. Let's take it off."
"So last night was eventful I take it?" Yoshino asked as Sachiko started ripping open boxes and moving things out of the way.
"Where is the stupid thing!?" Sachiko asked outloud as another loud moan echoed in the room they were in. "I'm never buying another camera ever again!" Sachiko said frantically searching now as embarrassment coursed through her body.
"Found it!" Yumi said quickly as she fumbled to turn it off. Thankfully it was off, but now an awkward silence remained as all eyes focus on the couple who tried to avoid eye contact.
"So. . . Long night huh?" Sei asked breaking the awkward silence and getting a smack to the back of her head.
It was only then that Sachiko raised her head and cleared her throat. "I. . . Yes, it was a very long night spent with my wife in our own home. Something that I'm not afraid to admit, unlike you who couldn't even tell everyone you loved Youko." Sachiko said as Yoshino chuckled at everyone. "It's not funny, why do you always laugh at others misfortunes? You are nosy and obnoxious yet we never say anything about you." Sachiko continued coldly as everyone stopped laughing and looked around at each other. "Why don't you just all leave actually, I need only one person in my life. She doesn't tease me or make fun of my personal life. . ."
"Sachiko. . .?" Youko asked as Sachiko looked to her with a very cold look in her eyes.
"I am only asking once more, please everyone, leave." Sachiko said as the rest of the girls all glanced at each other once more before standing and grabbing their things. Yumi could only feel a little guilty and confused as she watched everyone leave their home one by one.
"Call me." Youko mouthed to Yumi with a hand gesture like a phone which Yumi nodded to. It wasn't like Sachiko to snap like that. They all knew she had a temper, but rarely had she ever attacked individuals like that. Something had to be wrong.
"Sachiko. . . Are you alright?" Yumi asked hesitantly after the front door was shut and the two were alone again.
Sachiko sighed as she looked from the door to Yumi and smiled. "I'm sorry, Yumi. I know that was a little mean, but I am getting a little annoyed, they make me feel like our relationship is nothing but a joke to be made fun of. It really annoys me." Sachiko explained as Yumi smiled and gave her a hug.
"Don't worry about it, sometimes I feel the same way, but then I see you and I'm reminded of what we really have. It's bigger than any of their jokes will ever be, but maybe you have stopped some of the teasing, I would be alright with that." Yumi said as Sachiko returned the hug, Yumi always understood her and had the right words for the situation.
"I hope so. . . It really gets under my skin." Sachiko admitted as Yumi smiled.
"Well why don't we watch a movie or something to get your mind off it. I'll order a pizza and we can watch a few movies, just the two of us." Yumi said as she pulled away from the hug still smiling.
Sachiko took a deep breath as she gave a nod. "I like that idea, but I get to choose the first one."
Hours later. . . .
Bzzt. . Bzzt. . .
Sachiko stirred from her sleep as she felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. The movie she and Yumi had been watching was over and was just sitting at the title screen of the DVD. She and Yumi had fallen asleep though and it seemed she had been the first with how her head was resting in Yumi's lap. Not that this was really a surprise with how little sleep the two had gotten the night before.
Sachiko was comfortable though and instead of moving her head from Yumi's lap she reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone. She blinked a few times as she opened the message and tried to read what it said.
"Would you and Yumi like to have lunch with me tomorrow? My treat." The message read as Sachiko thought about it for a second and repositioned her head a little.
It was only a moment later that she felt fingers run through her hair causing her to glance up to Yumi who was looking at the phone in her hand. "Did I wake you?" Sachiko asked as Yumi's eyes went from the phone to her as she nodded a little.
"Yes, but it's alright because I wasn't sleeping in a very comfortable position, my neck kind of hurts so it's alright." Yumi responded as she massaged her neck for a second. "Your mother invited us for lunch?"
"Yes, what do you think?" Sachiko asked as Yumi shrugged.
"Why not, we don't have much else to do anyways." Yumi replied as Sachiko agreed silently before looking back to her phone to press the reply button.
Once the text message was sent Sachiko put her phone down with a yawn and stood from the couch and held a hand out to Yumi. "Come on let's go to bed, it's already late."
A/N: Alright so kind of an uninteresting chapter in my personal opinion. I felt like this chapter was just to get a reaction out of Sachiko and yumi through this whole tape ordeal while not really getting anywhere else. I decided on the wedding date as a way to get a story end in sight and though a week seems like a short period of time, I did this in no turning back now also. The other thing I would like to note is that Sachiko has a very sudden mood swing and I kept it like that because the remark Sei makes would put anyone on the defensive. It comes instantly and that is why I had it that way. THe outburst at Yoshino was my own personal hatred of what I believe the FF community (myself included)has made her. I always picture her as this very nosy, loud, and obnoxious girl who needs to know every detail of everyones lives.
I also wanted to use it to prove a point which that Sachiko may still get embarrased by this type of thing but even then has the confidence to stick up for her and Yumi. The situation was silly and it could have been done better. Honestly I doubt anyone got this point from it, but if you look at it how I did that is what I ultimately got from it.
In the end this chapter didn't really have a purpose in my mind, it was just a filler that I felt had no purpose or reason, and if I feel that way I find it almost impossible to type for it. I guess that is what I think of this chapter and how I feel about it. If you have any questions or comments or w/e please please contact me, I really would like to get into a conversation about this to get some perspective on things. ANyways sorry for making everyone wait and I really hope you liked it even if it wasn't my personal favorite.
EDIT: Yes I realize this chapter is shorter and mostly conversation. Again if I don't like it, it's hard to write for :( I didn't know what else to do!
