I am 9387492874928% sorry you guys, it's finals week for me, and it kinds got in the way :( I hope you can forgive me...

So I have more recommendations for you guys, idk if anyone actually follows them or not, but anyway, I just finished What's Left of Me by Kat Zhang, and it is the BEST book I've read since The Hunger Games, which is saying a lot.

Oh and I'm in a really write-y mood so I'm going to be doing a few more one-shots or drabbles, but first I need prompts, so send me some. It can be something as random as 'kangaroo' or more meaningful like 'proposal' or an entire idea if you want to like 'Katniss and Peeta tell their daughter about their hunger games'.

Disclaimer: I'll own these characters after I start loving seafood. Which is NEVER

Annie's POV

I awaken the next morning to the smell of bacon, and laughter from the kitchen. I attempt to sit up, but Finnick's arms prevent me from doing so.

"Hey Fin?" I whisper, poking his cheek, "Finnick"

He snores in response, and I giggle. After a few more tries, I finally unhook his fingers and walk over to the kitchen.

I raise an eyebrow when I notice Madge and Peeta are both covered in flour, and the two share a look before laughing.

"So what'cha two cooking?" I ask, sitting at the breakfast bar.

"Not bacon" Peeta says quickly before shoving some into his mouth.

I roll my eyes at him, and Madge slides a few strips over to me before returning to making breakfast.

"Morning everyone" Katniss yawns about half an hour later, and takes a seat beside me.

"Morning Kit Kat" Peeta greets, pulling her into a kiss before she can curse out his horribly-adorable nickname for her.

"How'd you sleep?" Madge asks when she returns with the plates.

"Pretty good, Peeta's arm is pretty squishy"

"This is all muscle babe" the blonde in question interrupts, flexing for emphasis.

I share a look with my two friends, and we all burst out laughing.

"What, you don't think I have muscle?"

Our silence is answer enough for him, and he scoffs.

"It's not that you don't, it's just that everyone has more that you?" I offer weakly.

"Oh please Annie, I could take your boyfriend down in a heartbeat"

"Oh really? Fine. Katniss, be a dear and wake Fin for me"

Peeta's cocky smile falters when he realizes he's actually gonna have to live up to his challenge, and I beam at him.

Katniss rolls her eyes, but reluctantly leaves to get him up anyway.

"Hey Odair get up" she orders, nudging his shoulder with her foot. He stirs slightly, but doesn't move. "Get your sleeping ass up out of this bed"

She sits down beside him, and hits his chest. "Up. Now"

He stirs again, and this time he grabs Katniss by the waist and pulls her under the covers with three of us laugh at how uncomfortable she is, and how hard she struggles to get out of his grip.

"ANNIE CONTROL YOUR BOY" she screams, trying to squirm out of his arms.

I pick up a nearby orange, and toss it at Finnick's head.

Realization dawns on him, and he practically throws Katniss off the bed.

"Woah. You're not Annie" he states drowsily, propping himself up.

"No shit Sherlock" the dark haired girl mutters, brushing herself off.

I turn back around to get more bacon, when I feel a pair of arms encircle my waist.

"Morning Ann" the bronze haired boy greets sleepily in my ear.

"Morning Fin" I reply, turning to give him a kiss.

"So did you guys wake me for a reason?"

"Peeta over here thinks he's stronger than you"

Finnick's eyes flash dangerously, and all traces of sleepiness are erased.

"Oh really? Arm wrestling. Right here, right now Mellark"

"You're going down"

Peeta props his arm up, and Finnick smirks before rolling his right sleeve up and doing the same.

"Okay boys, 3 ... 2... 1... GO" Madge announces.

Their hands begin to shake as they push against the other. Peeta's face scrunches into concentration, while Finnick's seems almost bored.

After a few more moments of shaking, Finnick quickly slams Peeta's arm down.

"And we have out winner" Madge yells out, raising Finnick's arm.

"B-but I just...WHAT" Peeta stutters, fuming. "This proves nothing"

"Whatever you say" Katniss laughs.

Johanna's POV

"Do you guys all have your stuff?" Madge asks, and locks the door when we all nod, "Great, then let's get going"

I begin to climb into the car, and Cato moves over to make room for me.

"So where is everyone going?" Gale asks as he pulls the car onto the road.

"Home, I have a Romeo and Juliet essay to write" I sigh.

"Ooh sucks" Glimmer winces.

"I know, Trinket's insane"

Everyone agrees, and we laugh.

"Oh hello Johanna, how was your sleepover?" my foster mom Diane greets, opening her arms up for a hug.

"Fine" I reply, brushing past her to go up to my room.

"Oh that's good, now what did you want for din-"

The rest of her sentence is muffled by my slammed door. I hit the lock on it, and pull out my laptop.

I'm almost done with the fourth paragraph of my essay, when a light knock sounds from outside my bedroom.

"Dinner's ready" Diane announces cheerfully, "Will you be eating with us tonight Johanna?"

"What did you make?" I ask as I open my door a bit.

Her face lights up at my small act (I rarely open my door), and you could practically hear the smile in her voice.

"Smoked salmon on a bed of wild rice and chopped vegetables"

"Then no"

I slam the door shut again, and resume my work.

"Okay, well I'll just go put it in the fridge if you change your mind, alright?"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah"

I brush off any and all her affection towards me, call me cruel. It's not because I'm heartless or anything, it's just that the only person I've ever opened up to was killed in a car crash when I was eight.

End of story.

I end up finishing the essay half an hour later, and my stomach grumbles.

Huh, maybe I should've taken that food

I snort at the thought of me, Johanna Mason, actually eating that crap.

I send out a distress text to the only person I can actually put up with on my street, and Finnick arrives on my balcony a few minutes later.

"Someone call for a pizza?" he asks, producing the box and two sodas from behind his back.

"Thanks" I grin as he steps into my room.

"So what was on the menu tonight that you refused to touch?"

"Smoked salmon on a bed of wild rice and chopped vegetables"

He chokes on his soda, and laughs at the mental image for the next twenty minutes.

So yeah, sorry for these fillers, just hang in there for a bit longer.

I really do apologize for the next little bit, I'm in the middle of finals week (half done yay :D) so the next update might not be up for another week, we'll see how it goes.

Bye Loves :)
