Onslaught was in the laboratory. He was now fully restored. Forge, Hank and Tony were trying to operate a machine to shut down Onslaught.
''Get that thing unconscious.'' Tony yelled.
''To late.'' Onslaught said. He fired a blast of telekinetic energy destroying the equipment and knocked Forge, Hank and Tony across the laboratory. Everyone in the institute started to feel dizzy. Onslaught was taking their telekinetic psyches and making himself more powerful.
Onslaught then fired another blast destroying part of the institute. He then levitated and flew away. Bruce was on the ground, his eyes went green.
''Onslaught, get back here now.'' Legion said telepathically.
''Very well.'' Onslaught said.
''SMASH.'' Hulk screamed. He jumped at Onslaught and punched him to the ground.
''Die.'' Onslaught replied. He stopped Hulk in the air and threw him into the institute. Onslaught then flew away.
The next morning all the heroes managed to recover. No one had died but a few were injured. SHIELD had managed to send them some equipment.
''Is everyone alright?'' Charles asked.
''We believe so. I think the worst injury was Wade who broke a leg but he will be fine.'' Ororo said. She was wrapping Franks bandages, he was still unconscious.
''We believe an attack in imminent.'' Nick Fury said as he walked in.
''We need to stop Onslaught before he gets even more powerful.'' Charles said.
''But how?'' Ororo asked.
''I have an idea. It might work.'' Hank Pym said. He arrived with SHIELD.
''What?'' Charles asked.
''Onslaught is near psychic energy so a well placed psychic attack will disarm or even kill him.'' Hank explained.
''I'm not to sure I'm capable of that.'' Charles said.
''But two of you are.'' Hank explained. Charles started to think.
''We don't know where he is.'' Ororo said.
''Erik.'' Charles said before running out of the room.
Erik was with Lorna and Wanda.
''So you haven't shipped me off yet?'' Wanda said. She had a little anger in her voice when she said that.
''No of course not. Why would I?'' Erik asked. He seemed a little shocked.
''Because I'm crazy.'' Wanda said. She seemed depressed by this.
''You are not crazy just difficult.'' Erik said. The three started to laugh.
''So you don't know who I am.'' Lorna said.
''Sorry.'' Erik replied.
''What about Susanna Dane?'' Lorna asked.
''I know her. We are in a relationship at the moment.'' Erik said. He had just made the correlation.
''Well soon I will be along and then life will be great.'' Lorna said. She started to laugh.
''Erik I need your help.'' Charles yelled as he burst in.
Legion was with Graydon and Joshua.
''A thousand of them. Is it not beautiful?'' Graydon asked.
''New York will be rubble.'' Joshua said. He was smiling.
''Why are you doing this Stragg?'' Legion asked.
''To pay an old debt.'' Joshua replied.
Onslaught was stood on top of the Worthington industries.
''Are we ready?'' Onslaught asked telepathically.
''Graydon is nearly ready. What about you?'' Legion replied.
''As long as the machine is ready I will be ready.'' Onslaught commented.
''Don't worry. They have a similar one to us. Just activate the machine.'' Legion explained.
The heroes were getting ready. They were dividing themselves into three teams.
''We need to head out. Onslaught has been spotted on the top of Worthington industries.'' Falcon said.
''Anyone who can fly get up there now. Everyone else will make a perimeter around the building.'' Cyclops said as he put on his visor.
''They are coming?'' Joshua said to Graydon. He was wearing his golden armour.
''I will send out the soldiers.'' Graydon replied.
Several people were walking through the Triskellion. They brought out guns and revealed to have vampire like teeth. They started to fire their guns which were based on Sentinel weapons.
Graydons army started to open fire throughout New York. Bombs started to go off setting the city a light. The machine inside Worthington industries started to activate. It shot a blue beam into the sky destroying part of the building. The sky was covered in clouds. Onslaught levitated into the air.
The flying heroes approached the building. Angel joined them.
''Mind if I join?'' Angel asked.
''I think we need all the help we can get.'' War Machine replied.
Charles and Erik were still in Cerebro with Lorna and Wanda.
''Are you sure this will work? Ours is not this advanced.'' Charles asked.
''I'm sure.'' Erik replied. He levitated into the air and started to make the panels move. Charles put the helmet on. The machine had a few sparks but it started to work.
The heroes that could fly surrounded Onslaught. Nick had three SHIELD helicarriers point guns at Onslaught. Tony had JARVIS control of all his Iron man armours surround Onslaught.
''How Naive.'' Onslaught said. He fired a burst of telekinesis throwing everyone back. They fired everything they had at Onslaught but he deflected it into random areas.
''Fire.'' Nick yelled. The helicarriers fired all their weaponry but Onslaught pushed the missiles back destroying the Helicarriers. They started to fall to the ground.
''We need to get hold of them.'' Captain America yelled.
The helicarriers stopped in midair. They the levelled out. The present Magneto appeared.
''But you are dead.'' Wade said. He had his jaw dropped.
''I am the master of magnetism. Do not think your weapons can harm me.'' Magneto said.
Charles was in Cerebro. He found the prisoners.
''Send the X-men. I found...Myself.'' Charles said.
Wolverine, Cyclops, Erik, Charles, Wanda and Lorna were heading to Graydons building.
''Are you coming?'' Lorna asked over her phone. Betsy, Brian and Joseph were fighting Victors men in the middle of a street.
''On our way.'' Betsy replied. Vision then appeared and fired a heat blast at the enemies.
''The Avengers have been assembled.'' Vision said in his robotic voice.
