Game on. The game was one. What did she mean by that? Did she saw this as some sort of a game? This was not a game, this was real. This was real, and painful and yet so good. She was truly a mystery, surprising him every time he thought he started to know her.
His footsteps repeated itself against the stony walls as he was making his way towards her room. Her room, where she would be in all her beauty itself, over thinking her new strategy of her silly little games.
He was surprisingly nervous to confront her. If this was all a game to her, a way of entertaining her bored mind, did he wanted to be a part of it? The answer was undecided. Playing with feelings could only end disastrous for one of them.
" Come in, Alec." She answered in a sweet voice, pleasure clearly audible in it before he had even a chance to knock on the door. Her soft breathing was symphonic although she did not had the need for air it was a habit she kept from her human life. Air was something she had missed during the time she was dying. During that time air was taken away from her. She gained it back in her new life.
She was lying flat on her stomach on the bed that was placed in the center of her room while her delicate fingers were holding 'Les Liaisons Dangereuses' one of the most scandalous and controversial novels of the eighteenth century in European literature. She looked innocent like a little girl, but behind the surface was something far more dangerous. Sinister. He loved that side of her because it mimicked his so well.
" Feliciana…" he started but stopped, not knowing what words he had to use to make a proper sentence that wouldn't make her laugh because how foolish it sounded. Feliciana… such as strange yet suiting name for a perfect, graceful woman like her. He loved her name on his lips.
Feliciana smiled, taking joy out of Alec's situation of not being able to say what he had in mind. She stood up threw the book on her bed and moved closer to Alec, the urge to be near him becoming more powerful with each step she took. It was amazing how strong a desire could be.
Her long fingers touched the side of his face lovingly and he was too fixed on her to even consider pulling away. It was a dreamy touch, so light and soft, describing how Feliciana was. Unconsciously he closed his eyes and from now on his mind would remember her touch forever. Whenever he wanted to feel her he would think about the kiss and this touch and his mind would create the illusion she would be touching him.
" I know how difficult it is for you to express your feelings, Alec." She whispered and she kept moving her hand on his cheek in slow, soft strokes and a happy smile played around her lips.
Alec kept quiet, his eyes still closed and every fiber of his body enjoying what she was doing.
" But this is important Alec. We can't keep ignoring each other, especially not with our feelings."
She pursed her lips as if she was thinking which words would come out of her mouth next: " I will be honest with you. In the short time I am her with the Volturi I have fallen in love with you so madly it hurts to be separated from you. Knowing that you hate me and you may not feel the same way as I feel for you, hurts so much, Alec. I can't even describe it. So if you feel the same way for me, if you love me, you kiss me now! Without gifts, without playing games."
Her voice was strong, determinate and her red eyes stared into his. He wasn't a person that showed his emotions. He was cold, calculating and sadistic. The only person that saw some sort of emotion was Jane. So was she in her way. But he saw love, shining bright in her eyes and he realized her love was for him. Exclusively and only for him. The idea was so appealing. Feliciana was so beautiful and he was like a fly in her web.
So he stepped closer to her until his body was firmly pressed against hers and his hand slit to the back of her neck, pushing her head closer to his. His lips traced her jawline and an soft whimper escaped her lips.
" Alec…" she breathed out but he silenced her by pushing his lips on her full ones. This kiss was different from when he had kissed her. There was more need for it. This time her own lips responded in an urgent way and a low, rumbling growl build itself up in her chest.
She pulled away and he remarked her eyes had been closed, so were his, when she opened them they were a shade of a darker red: " I will be the one if you want me to." She whispered in that low, soft voice of hers.
She was fully committed to him and she wanted to be with him, to stand next to him with pride, to hold his hand, to have him fully in all means of the verb ' to have'. Feliciana could and wanted to be a part of his life and he wanted her just as much as she seemed to want him. After 9 centuries a mate created an unknown desire within him. Especially if Feliciana was that mate and having her by his side was tempting. Alec thought about how much happier he would become, the purpose in his life would change. It would become pleasing her, keeping her happy and safe, bounded to him. He would life for that.
Alec smiled against her jawline: "Be the one to me!"
A sigh of relief left her body as she buried her face in his neck, breathing in his scent and enjoying the moment that would be burned in her memory forever as one of the happiest days of her existence.
Life could be good, fantastic. Life in Alec's arms was heavenly. No sorrow, no problems, no memories of the fight with Miranda and her brother. Just a perfect, complete life in Alec's arms.
Lips brushed against her jawline, soft and caring. Feliciana was laying on Alec's chest, her body softly resting on his, his arms wrapped around her in a loving and secure embrace. There was so much of her that was still hidden, now was the perfect moment to get to know her fully.
" How did you become a vampire?" Alec asked curiously, wanting to know every bit of her.
" Basically the same way you and Jane became one. Vladimir and Stefan heard rumors of a human girl who always got what she desired. It sounded like a possible ability to them and they were right. Just like Aro had decided to wait a little longer to change you and your sister, Vladimir and Stefan also found me too young to be changed but to make sure I was safe they kept an eye on me, not wanting that I would share a fate similar to that of you. Their plan to change me when I would be a full grown woman was interrupted, when my father decided he could no longer feed my mouth. So he did the unthinkable. He decided to murder me with my biggest fear and my weakness. He decided to drown me in a nearby lake."
Feliciana paused for a moment to push the unclear human memory away: " All I can still remember is the walk through the dark forest, the cold water filling my lungs and then the burning agony of Stefan who bit me. He was only just in time to save me. After my transformation I decided to stay with them, because that was just the easiest way."
Alec's arm instinctively tightened around her, as her story was so similar to his.
" I don't hate my father for murdering me. He saw it as the only peaceful option for me, he would spare me from so much pain. I was his only daughter and truly he loved me. Drowning is a relatively painless death, quick too. The only thing you feel is water filling your lungs and you can't breathe anymore and eventually you'll pass out. It was better than starve to death or feeling the pain of a knife as it would slice my throat open."
Feliciana turned her body a bit, to take a look at Alec's face. It was full of twisted anger: " You don't hate him? Your father? Your own father tried to kill you and you don't hate him passionately? You should. He didn't deserved to be called a father, nor did your mother for not trying to protect her child."
Feliciana shrugged: " I found peace, I guess. 20 years after my transformation I visited them again, without them noticing me ofcourse. They looked worse than ever. Bony, sick and unhappy, and guess what my mother had just given birth to another child. A girl, she named Feliana. Ironic isn't it, to kill one daughter only to get another one?"
" You should have killed them all." Alec said bitter.
" Maybe." Feliciana replied " But what would've brought it to me? To be honest I couldn't care because somehow I lived a better life than they did."
" Does Felix know about this?"
" No, and as long as he don't specifically asks about it I am not planning on telling it."
Alec nodded, his lips pressed against the top of her head for a moment.
A deep, happy sigh escaped Feliciana: " There is no place I would rather be at this moment!"
She could feel Alec's lips curl into a smile as a silent agreement. As peaceful, blissful and perfect this moment was, Feliciana was worried. Worried about what was going to happen.
" Alec." She murmured, eyes closed, cherishing the moment forever. " What are we going to do now?"
She could feel a frown forming on his brilliant face: " What do you mean, Mio caro?"
" Aro and the others." She replied whispering. " Jane hates me more than I can even imagine. She will want to kill me."
" I will never allow that. I won't let her touch you, not even a hair on your head!" Alec replied firmly, almost angry and his grip around her tightened once again.
Feliciana smiled, content Alec would protect her even against his own flesh that would definitely try to kill her when she would hear the news: " Still, I don't foresee problems with Aro but what about the others? Are we going to keep our relationship a secret?"
" Do you want to keep it a secret?"
" No. But I thought that maybe you wanted to."
" I want to but I can't. I can't act the same to you as I did before, they would ask questions and eventually they would find out. I don't know if it would be possible for me to stay away from you or ignore you."
Feliciana rose from her position and pulled Alec with her: " Come on, we are going to have a little chat with Aro and the other masters."
Feliciana hooked her arm in Alec's one and together they walked to where their masters would be. With each step Feliciana took, she clung firmer to Alec's side, not wanting to let go. The masters were reading, the sound as a page from a book was flipped resounded softly in her ears. The large wooden door decorated with gold welcomed them and before they opened it, Alec pulled Feliciana closer for a quick, deep loving kiss and blissful joy filled her for a short moment. Then she took a deep breath and opened the door, forced to step away from Alec's side and into the questioning gaze of her masters.
What do you think of the third child? The sister of Felix and Feliciana? I created her with a purpose *hint*
