The car drove straight to a fancy Hotel and was met by a women dressed in black. She ushered the blonde girl into the lobby and then in a lift up to the penthouse. Once there, the girl was handed over to a woman clothed in a sari, then the woman in black left.
"Yes, you are a pretty little thing. Manash will be pleased with you."

Walking back to his car, Ianto pulled his collar up against the cold chill of the evening. It made him shiver inside and was cold to the bone. He now wished he hadn't sent Jack away; he was in need of a hug right now, and Jack was just the man to deliver a bone crunching bear hug, which he knew would make him feel better.
Driving back to the Hub, Ianto was thinking about the boy. Thinking so hard, that he nearly went head on into a bus coming in the other direction. Cursing himself, he pulled over, got his phone out and called Jack.
"Ianto!"
"Can you come pick me up? I…I'm not safe to drive right now."
"Where are you?"
"By Penarth leisure centre."
"I'll get Owen to drive me, then he can drive your car back."
"Thanks."
"Are you okay?"
"Just come get me, Jack."
"I'm on my way."
Ianto sat in his car until the SUV pulled in behind him. Then he moved to the passenger seat as Jack quickly got in the driver's seat. The older man pulled away.
"What happened?"
"I…lost concentration."
"And?" Encouraged Jack.
"I nearly hit an oncoming bus."
Jack closed his eyes for a second, not wanting to think of the outcome of such a crash. "You need to rest and maybe eat something," he suggested.
Ianto just sighed and looked out of the side window.

In the recovery room, Janet sat up in bed and looked at the bandages that covered her mid section. It hurt to breath and it was hard for her to hold back the tears, but she was afraid that the man in scrubs would hurt her more if she cried.
As she looked around, other children, both boys and girls, lay in beds like her. All had bandages around their mid sections. All looked scared and in pain.
Their had been a blonde girl next to her this morning. Her name was Megan, but she wasn't there now. Her bed was empty. It made Janet even more afraid.
Next door, Amy was sat with Louis. They had become friends. But how long for? Only two beds before she reached that room, and she was now feeling scared.
Brigham walked around the recovery room and took Polaroid's of all of the girls. He printed their name and age on the bottom of them and then left the room to go back to his office. He had a list in his office of all the 'Clients' and their pacific needs.
Some wanted blondes, with blue eyes and around 12 to 14; a good age for marriage. Others wanted brunettes, with brown eyes and around 10-12 to use as servants.
'Each to their own' though Brigham. 'It's all cash on delivery for me'
Looking through the ledger, Brigham ticked off three of the girls, having matched them to Clients.
"Next, the boys," he said aloud. "But that can wait." He pushed back his chair and placed his feet up on the desk. "Beats working any day."

Owen parked Ianto's car next to his and went through the Tourist Office down to the Hub. It was all quiet. Tosh and Gwen had already gone home and after he had finished tidying the autopsy bay (which would take him seconds) that's what he intended to do. He didn't want to be around when Jack and Ianto started ranting and raving at each other. No, he wanted to be far away and out of ear shot. Ianto might not talk much, but when he was angry, all hell broke loose.
He knew that Jack and Ianto loved each other, but at times, it felt like they were strangers, the way they argued. But he also knew that they could not be mad with each other for long and would need privacy to 'make up' as it were, after.
And so it was, that he left, just as said lover's entered the Tourist Office.
"See you both in the morning."
Jack just nodded.
Once down in the Hub, Ianto went straight to the coffee machine, filling the reservoir with cold water.
"Won't that keep you awake?" said Jack.
Ianto didn't reply, just put coffee beans into the grinder and then into the machine, switching it on.
"Can we maybe talk?" asked Jack.
"About what?"
"You wanted time to think. Did ya, think, I mean?"
Ianto nodded.
"And?"
He shook his head. "Nothing." He looked at Jack. "Did Gwen come up with anything?"
"No."
"Fuck!"
"Ianto…everyone is doing their best right now."
"I know…its just…God!"
Jack moved forward, pulling his lover into his arms. Ianto tried to resist, but Jack hung on. Soon Ianto's arms were around his lovers neck, as he cried softly against his shoulder. Jack's heart broke.
