When Sly and Rei had returned to the hideout, the fox went into her room, but Sly managed to slip in before the door closed as she peeked back to see him. "If you don't mind, can you...turn around?" She blushed slightly.

Sly nodded and turned so his back was facing her, Rei glancing back to make sure he wasn't looking. She quickly unraveled the bow from the halter neck before slipping the top off, tossing it on the bed. However, while Rei was putting her back bra on, the raccoon took a quick peek, but all he saw was the fox's hair covering her back. Just as she was slipping her bottoms off, Sly turned away again so Rei wouldn't clobber him for peeking. Once fully clothed though, Rei turned around. "I'm all done, you can turn around now."

He peeked back to see her changed before turning fully, walking up to her as he wrapped his arms around the fox. "Can I get rid of that thing now? I don't want to look at it anymore..."

"Yeah, go right ahead. I'd rather not be reminded of that tiger ever again either..."

"I couldn't agree more..."

Sly pulled back a bit to stare down at Rei, who avoided eye contact with him; she seemed to still be bothered by what had just occurred with Rajan. "It'll be okay..." He tried to reassure her.

She gazed up at him. "Are you sure?"

"Even if things go wrong, we'll figure a way out; we always have, especially growing up, right?"

Rei grinned slightly. "Yeah, you're right..."

"Of course I am. Now come on, let's go see if Bentley has anything else he wants us to do."

"As long as it doesn't involve that horrible outfit, I'm all for it." She said as they exited the room.

After Bentley had blown the dam to help flood the temple, Murray went to open the elephant's mouth so Sly could get in and finish the job with the Cherry Bomb 500 they were promised in exchange for a large red ruby. However, before he climbed into the barrel, he heard a low 'thud' on the truck right behind him as he turned to see none other than Rei. She was laying on her stomach, her mask in one hand while her chin rested on the back of the other, her legs crossed.

"So are you planning on carrying that or are you actually getting inside of that thing?" She asked.

"I'm getting inside of it and using it as a disguise when I pass by the guards."

"Really now? Wouldn't it be easier to just simply carry it though?"

"Yes, but I'd rather not get blown up if I were to get caught."

She shrugged. "Alright, fair enough."

"Shouldn't you be at the rendezvous point?" Sly then asked

"I should, but as you can clearly see, I'm here at the moment." She grinned lightly; looks like she's starting to feel better.

Sly rolled his eyes. "Rei..."

She sighed, rolling her eyes this time. "Fine, fine... I can tell when I'm not needed." She then put her mask on before pushing herself to stand. "I'll see you soon, Ringtail." Rei smirked before leaping off.

Once the scarlet fox was gone, Sly hopped into the barrel and made his way to the elephant's mouth, avoiding guards as he went. It took a while, but when he finally reached the spot he was supposed to leave the bomb, he quickly leaped out of said barrel and ran with the pink hippo before it exploded, water flooding the temple. Rei hopped down to stand next to Sly and Murray as Rajan ran out of hiding to seeing his spice temple completely flooded, and he wasn't too pleased either.

"Black clouds and thunder bolts! My spice temple...RUINED! I will no longer hide while you villains destroy my hard won empire! This place is mine...here I am king! Come, face me, Cooper! With Clockwerk's black heart, I will show you true power! You are nothing! Come, face the mighty Rajan, lord of these hills!" Rajan roared.

"More like king of the kittens." Rei said aloud.

"What's this!? The Scarlet Rose, and working with the Cooper Gang!?"

"And what's it to you, Rajan? It's not like you ever gave a damn about me in the first place." She retaliated.

"Man, when we try to piss someone off, we really do the job." Sly spoke up.

"Yes, you do seem to have quite the talent for that." Neyla said, dropping in.

"Constable Neyla, slumming it with the thieves again?" Sly cracked a smirk. "Have you come to see the show?"

"But of course." She chuckled. "However, aside from thieving antics, that man also needs to be stopped; he's an illegal spice trader and should be brought to justice."

"Help me get the Clockwerk Heart and the bust is all yours." Sly said.

Neyla leaped, hopping along the pointed wooden stakes up to Rajan. Sly quickly followed behind her as Rei merely stayed behind when a certain someone showed up out of the blue. "Well, well, what do we have here? It looks as though you've pissed off the cat, and did a damn good job at it too."

"The hell do you want, Luna...?" Rei asked in a very bitter tone.

"I came to see your handy work, what else?"

The fox rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I'm sure that's what you came here for..."

"It is."

Rei sent her a glance that said she knew Luna was lying, who merely shrugged. "What? You don't believe me?"

"No, I don't, and I've got good reason not to either."

"Come on, Rei-Rei—"

"Call me that again and I'll rip your tongue out through your nose. You're already on thin ice, Luna, so I suggest that you don't crack it."

"Nice metaphor." Luna chuckled.

"Shut up..." Rei hissed. "Your voice irritates me almost as much as Carmelita's." The fox said, however, things between Sly and Neyla were about to turn for the worse.

"Neyla, NOW!"

"Sorry."

"What are you doing?" Was all Sly said before he was struck by a lightning bolt and was thrown to the ground.

Rei gasped, her eyes widening. "SLY!" She leapt down and ran over to the fallen raccoon, but before she could reach him, an electric fence was activated, preventing her from reaching him. "No! Sly!"

"This is it? This is the Cooper Gang I have been hiding in fear from these past few weeks? This is all I have to fight?"

Suddenly, Rajan jumped down as Rei gasped, whipping around while the tiger trudged over to her menacingly. She began to back up, but ended up tripping on one of the large lily pads and fell to the ground, quickly trying to scoot away. But her feeble attempts to escape were in vain as Rajan reached down and grabbed the fox by a large chunk of her hair, causing her to help in pain.

"You just keeping returning to give me so much grief, Scarlet Rose. Maybe I should simply put you out of your misery." He hissed, Rei frantically trying to free herself from his grasp.

"LET HER GO!" Murray roared as he too leaped down, causing the ground to shake. "'The Murray' will renew your fear once more!"

Rajan chuckled as he threw Rei to the ground, the fox yelping again before pushing herself up, rubbing her head. "Who's 'The Murray'? All I see is a fat, pathetic weakling!"

"I may be big and not as smart as the others, but one thing I'm not is WEAK!" Murray said before giving Rajan an uppercut to the chin, causing him to fall backwards.

Once Rei had regained herself, she quickly whipped around to see Sly still unconscious from his crash landing. She pounced to her feet and ran over to the electric fence, but as soon as she touched it, she was shocked, and not just a little either. Rei cried in pain as she drew her hand back, however, the fox knew she had to get Sly somehow and the only way was through that fence. Taking in a short breath, Rei forced herself forward, the fence immediately shocking her. Pain coursed throughout her body as she screamed out in agony, but kept pushing forward. When she was finally through, Rei placed her hands on the wall, sinking to her knees as she panted heavily, her body still burning from the shocks. However, Rei put the thought of her blinding pain aside as she looked over to see Sly. She weakly crawled over to him and gently placed a hand on his shoulder, shaking him to try and wake him up as she called out to him.

"Sly... Hey, wake up, Sly... Come on, please wake up..." She called in a low voice, shaking him slightly.

"Nugh...!" Sly twitched before his eyes slipped open, sitting up as he grabbed his head. When he could see clearly, the raccoon turned to see Rei's masked face as he grinned lightly. "Nice to see that mask of yours..."

She chuckled lightly. "Yeah... I'm so going to murder that damn leopard when I get my hands on her..."

"And I won't stop you either..." Sly said.

"Are you alright?" Rei then asked

"Other than the fact I was struck by lightning and thrown off a rock, I'm fine..."

Rei rolled her eyes, scoffing. "I just walked through an electric fence, so cry me a river..."

Once Rajan was finally down for the count, Murray snatched the heart from Rajan's staff. "Victory belongs to 'The Murray'!" He roared. "Sly's gonna want this part of the Clockwerk heart safe and sound..." He said to himself before hiding it away.

"Happy day!" Neyla said sarcastically, arms crossed.

"Joy for you!" Luna called, also sarcastically with a hand on her hip.

Murray turned around. "Wha? Neyla? Neyla! Throw down a ladder! Sly's hurt real bad!" He called, but she couldn't care enough to really listen.

"Here they are, Contessa, the Cooper Gang, Rajan, and the Scarlet Rose all incapacitated." She gestured.

"It's almost funny how easy it was to catch them." Luna chimed in, Rei glaring.

"Excellent police work, Constable Neyla, Luna. Not even Inspector Fox has been able to catch the Cooper Gang or the Scarlet Rose, and yet you've managed to capture all three of them in just a few short weeks."

"Indeed. Oh, and I should also mention that Carmelita was dancing with Sly Cooper on the night the Clockwerk Wings were stolen with the Scarlet Rose's assistance." Neyla said, holding up a photo of Carmelita dancing with Sly, Rei in the background.

"But I didn't know I was dancing with Cooper, or that Scarlet Rose was there too!" Carmelita argued.

"And I do believe Carmelita was in on the theft of the Clockwerk Wings the whole time." Luna added as Carmelita growled.

"LIAR! Prove it!" She shouted.

"Here is the photo of you, Carmelita dancing with Sly Cooper on the night the wings were stolen." Neyla said, holding up the photograph to show the fox.

"Oh, and let's not forget this one of Scarlet Rose trying to seduce Rajan on that very same night, and just a couple of days ago, with Rajan yet again in the same outfit as that night." Luna chimed in, holding up a pair of photos, of which, Rei's eyes widening.

"Luna! You harpy witch!" Rei screamed.

"It's like I said, I didn't know Cooper was my dance partner, so you evidence isn't credible, Neyla!" Carmelita spoke up again

"Inspector Fox, take your arrest gracefully." The Contessa said. "Guards, take them away, all of them!" She ordered.

"I'll get you, Neyla! Don't think I won't!" Carmelita hissed as her arms were pinned behind her back before being dragged off.

Sly and Rei stood up, but suddenly both Murray and the ringtail were taken away. Rei gripped the handle of her cane, switching it into a blade. Her hands trembled as she gripped the hilt, but when she was surrounded, the guards came at her. However, just as the guards tried to apprehend her, she dashed off, slicing and slashing as crimson blood spilled all in the shallow water at her feet, staining it red. Rei became relentless as blood splattered everywhere, but suddenly she was kicked in the back and pinned to the ground. Luna ripped the blade from Rei's grasp and switched it back into a cane before cuffing her hands. After strapping the cane to the fox's belt, Luna yanked her onto her feet as she started struggling.

"I suggest you be a good little fox and cooperate, otherwise this could get messy."

"Luna...! I knew you weren't to be trusted, and look at where it's gotten me again! I'll end your miserable life, you filthy whore!"

"First, you'll have to escape, and what are the odds of that, huh, sweetheart?" She chuckled before dragging her along, Bentley watching in shock.

Damn it...! I'm such an idiot... Why didn't I see this coming? I knew it would end badly, especially with Mira involved. Now look at where it's gotten me... Rei cursed herself.

"I...I-I can't believe it... That double crossing, cockney...LIAR!" Bentley shouted. "They used us! I'd better get out of here fast and figure out a way to bust everyone out!" He said before taking off to go find the van, Sly, Murray, Carmelita, and Rei all being taken away.
