The Doctor wakes up and turns round, saying, "morning" before opening his eyes and realising that River is not there.
"River!" He shouts, sitting up, but there isn't any answer. He gets out of bed and walks around the TARDIS, shouting for her. He went past the swimming pool, River's wardrobe, the library, the helter-skelter, and even the room where the Doctor keeps everything most precious to him before getting to the console room and she is still nowhere to be seen. Then, the Doctor checks to see if the TARDIS has been moved. Funnily enough, it had moved indeed. He noticed it was now at the hospital.
"Great, now I have to change…just brilliant," he mutters unhappily to himself and runs down the stairs. After a few minutes of hurried dressing, he runs back up.
"Shoes," he says, looking at his feet and runs to get shoes. Once finding them, he puts them on and leaves the TARDIS without tying the shoelaces together or his bow tie. When he gets out, there isn't anyone there apart from the woman behind the front desk. Without a second thought, he walks up and says, "Hello – you know if River Song is here?"
"No, sorry, but Dr Martin will be able to tell you. However, you'll have to wait at the moment – I'm afraid he is with a patient." she tells him, so he sits down in the waiting room. During his wait, he ties his shoes and attempts to tie his bowtie but keeps getting it wrong. Accepting his failure, he simply puts it in his pocket then takes out a piece of paper, which was labeled, My Bucket List by River Song. He gets a pen and scores out camping group holiday and marry the Doctor before River comes down the hall with Dr Martin.
"Don't let him know that I'm pregnant – I will tell him myself when I come back from the library." River tells Dr Martin.
The Doctor puts the pen and paper back in his pocket and walks up to them. "Did you get new medicine, then?" he asks.
"Ah, yes – I will go get that now." Dr Martin tells them and goes down the hall. "Where is your bowtie?" River asks the Doctor with a lifted eyebrow.
"In my pocket," he answers.
"Give it to me." she tells him and the Doctor gives River his bowtie. She starts to tie it while saying, "You need to learn to do this yourself."
"I can in front of a mirror," he says with a sheepish grin.
"Okay, why did you not just do that, then?" she asks him.
"Because I thought you had left me. I got dressed as quickly as I could." he tells her.
"There, done." River says, straightening his bowtie and adds with a quick kiss, "I'm not going anywhere."
"Good, because I need you this week." he tells her.
"Just this week – good to know," River says sarcastically.
"And every week after that," he says. "I need you for the rest of my life."
At that very moment, Nancy comes in through the door. "What are you two doing here? Come to rub it in my face? I don't think so!" she says indignantly and punches him. The Doctor falls to the floor flat on his face and she puts her foot on his back so he can't get up. "What do you see in her, anyways?" Nancy asks in a rather nasty tone.
"Do you really want to know or are you just asking so when I tell you, it gives you another chance to hit me?" The Doctor asks, his voice slightly muffled from his position on the ground.
"You know me too well," Nancy says and then looks at River, adding, "But seriously, Doctor, what is it? I mean, look at her! She's fat and ugly and…have you seen the size of her hair ? It's just not normal! Come on – why is it so big?"
The Doctor tries to get up but Nancy's foot is still planted firmly on his back.
"River, don't listen to her none of that is true – if it was, why would I have married you? You are the single most important thing to happen to me and I'll love you to the end of time and back!" The Doctor tells River. However, River just goes in the TARDIS, leaving a deadly silence behind.
"Let me up now." The Doctor says to Nancy.
"See, now, even your wife won't help you – what a shame." she says. "No, I don't want her to help me. I don't care if she does not help me." The Doctor argues and then Dr Martin comes down the hall.
"Nancy, get off him now!" he yells furiously. Nancy takes her foot off the Doctor's back and he gets up.
"Eh, Doctor could we talk over here and if you could take a seat, Nancy, that would be great. I will see you in a minute." Dr Martin says. Nancy sits in the waiting room and the Doctor and Dr Martin go over and stand at the desk. Dr Martin hands the Doctor a paper bag and says, "This is River's new medicine. She does not have to take this twice a day. She only has to take it once and it has to be in the morning as she can't sleep after she takes it. Otherwise, it won't work and it'll probably give her a sore stomach and she might be sick. Have you go all that?"
"Yes, she takes it once in the morning and has to eat after it. Got it, thanks." The Doctor says then goes back to the TARDIS door. However, just as he is just about to open it, Dr Martin says, "Doctor, River says she is going to the library. You're a braver man than me I could ever do that - good luck."
"Thanks - I have been putting it off till the last possible second but she wants to go, so I have to let her." The Doctor says then goes into the TARDIS.
River is sitting on the stairs of the TARDIS when the Doctor walks in.
"Why couldn't you do it?" River asks him.
"What, tell you how sexy you are? How wonderful you are? How I would do anything to stop you from getting harmed? If I thought for one moment you were in any type of danger, I would stop what I was doing, even if it meant worlds ending…if it meant people dying…if it made you safe, I would stop what I was doing and come and make sure you were safe. That is the most important thing to me you – being safe and that if for one moment I thought you doubted the way you looked, I would do anything to make sure you know that you were the most beautiful woman in And that's all I wanted to say – I am sorry for not telling anyone before, but know if you want me to tell anyone then I will. Just tell me when and I will be there to say this all over again. I will make sure you never forget it." He tells her.
River gets up and kisses him. "Here is your medicine as well – you take it once a day before breakfast because you can't take it before you sleep. Otherwise, it won't work and you have to eat after it. If you don't, you could get sick and we don't want that." The Doctor adds.
"Oh, shut up." She says then kisses him again.
"okay i think we should go get everyone else before they wonder where we are" River says "this is a time mashien we can be as long as we want to be" The Doctor says "your learning" River tells him then then doctor kisses River then picks her up and puts her on the TARDIS conceal and she takes his jacket off.
Mickey Martha Craig and Sophie are standing in the street "you no he is late and is making us look like Muppets" Mickey says "when is her ever on time" Martha asks "thats not the point we are all standing in the middle of the street with camping gear like a bunch of idiots cause there is no where to camp in the middle of London" Mickey says "alright so do you think he will show up" Craig ask "he always turns up not always when he says he will be he always turns up" Martha says the the TARDIS appears "finally" sophie says then The Doctor comes out the door without his shirt on "could you not put cloths on" Mickey asks "i did have cloths on then River took them back off me" he says "to much information" Martha says "you asked" The Doctor tells them "point are we aloud to come in" Sophie asks "i dont think you want to know" The Doctor says the Sexy Back by Justen Timberlake comes on then he adds "could you give me a moment" before shutting the door and saying to River "really are you ready" "yeah and i just found the music button your most played song is that sould i be concerned" River says "no no do we have to do this know" The Doctor says "do what if you like a little jt now and then fine could be worse could be one direction" River says "never i would never ever listen to one direction" he says then opens the door and says "come in shut the door behind you" then they all come in an River is still looking at the scanner "what are you looking for now" The Doctor asks then clears the scanner and adds "my music history is none of you business" "oh now it is" River says and puts it back up and adds "lets see you dont like one diction you said" "no i dont how" The Doctor says then River puts Best song ever on "second most played song" River tells him "yeah well its good to dance to and i am not getting into all this now if you think about it you might understand aswell but you will have to really think and lets go before you find anything else" The Doctor says then Jack and Sarah Jane come in "hope you never forgot about us" Sarah Jane says "since when where they invited" River says "nice to see you too" Jack says "its couples only but come if you want i dont mind" The Doctor says then flys the TARDIS the adds "you two cant you all single on us this is a couples camping trip" The Doctor says "i totally understand and if i new that i would not have came along but i will stay anyway and we can do all the couple stuff aswell" Jack tells them "can we" Sarah Janes says "well we have to dont we cant back out now" Jack says "right grab your stuff lets go" River says then they all go outside the TARDIS and Jim the fish is standing there "Jim nice to see you again been to long" River says "that it has River when we heard you boyfriends box we made sure everything was ready" Jim says "no Husband we are married had it been that long since we have been here wow long over due then" The Doctor says "yeah well last time you came you said that you loved this place and that it was the best place in the world and you could spend forever here and you have not came ever since Doctor whats the matter" Jim says "i have a time mishene Jim i have been here a thosand time for you it might not be us much yet but wait me and River never stop coming here and i need to talk to you later on about something but we can wait till we have set up" The Doctor says "Just River is Easter Island not good enough for anyone else just you and River you should bring everyone here your other girlfriends" Jim says "no Jim i dont have any girlfriends just River" the doctor explains "handsome young man like you must have all the woman falling at your feet why not bring them all here you could have three four girls endless woman" Jim tells The Doctor then he answers "no i dont think you understand jim i dont want any other girl i just want River and even if i was seeing anyone else witch to be clear i am not i would not bring them here because you would tell River next time we came and to be honast this is mine and Rivers place bringing anyother girl here would be disrespectful towards River and i would not cheat on her full stop and come on troups start pitching the tents i will talk to jim the fish and the bottom of the hill if thats alright" The Doctor says "is about the other woman you brought here last week" Jack says "dont you start" The Doctor says then starts walking down the hill and jim follows him "what do you think they are talking about" Mickey says "i know what they are talking about so dont start" Sarah Jane says "what i was not saying anything i sware i love the guy as if he was my brother i would never say anything like that" Mickey says "yeah but you did bring it up like its putting something out there that does not need to be" Jack says "cant we just leave it please i trust the doctor and thats what matters if i trust him then no one else needs to" River says "good because he has done nothing wrong" Sarah Janes says "and how would you know that how do we know its not you" Mickey says "just drop it i dont need all of you telling me that he is cheating on me you call yourself his mate and that he is like a brother to you yet you keep going on about how me could be cheating if you where that much of a friend even if he was cheating you would deny knowing anything about it and if you are doing this for your own personal gain i would stop now because you clearly are not a good friend to him if you are acting like this" River tells him "she has got a point you claim to be like a brother and your acting more like you want revenge" Jack says "Well we cant act like he has not dont it before" Mickey says "yes we can because he hasnt like i said that was not cheating" Martha says "wait what" River says "The Doctor sleept with Martha while going out with Rose" Micjey says "no he never he got drunk one night and yeah we sleept together but in he thought Rose was never coming back she was in a diffrent universe where he was never seeing her again thats not cheating and how do you know that because i nevre told you and the doctor woulnt cause we said we would never tell anyone unless we had to" Martha says "he told me he told me when i asked him if anything happened now in my world it is cheating" Mickey says "no its not because thats like saying if martha went to a paralle universe would you still be married yes but you would not be together so cause its not like she is in a diffrent country and you can try long disstance there is no way that you can get to her i dont see that as cheating i see that as showing how much he cared about Rose because if he can get over her like that then he did not care for her as much as he said he did" River says.
The Docror and Jim are at the bottom of the hill "you got anther girlfriend Doctor" Jim asks "no i only have River only want River" The Doctor says "okay i understand i think" Jim says "good can you make sure no one comes up here tomorrow night i need the whole hill to myself i am bringing River here and it need to be perfect and if someone else gets here first it could ruin it i would love to tell you why but if i tell to many people thats when it becomes real so i cant but if you could do this one thing for me that would be grate" The Doctor asks "okay i can thats fine" Jim says then Sophie comes down the hill "Doctor River has locked herself in the TARDIS i think Mickey wants to split you guys up i am not ment to tell you that bit but i would want to know if it was me and craig" she says "thanks sophie" he says then starts walking up the hilll and when he reaches the top says to mickey "you better be gone betime i am back because if you are not you will have hell to pay" and then opens the tardis door with the sonic screwdriver and when he gets inside River is lying on the floor "shit no no no River" he says running up to her then flys the TARDIS and takes her to the hospital then picks her up and takes her into and see's Dr Martin and shouts "Doctor can you take care of this i have something to sort out" "yeah sure but something more important than you wife what is it you have changed" Dr Martin says walking over with a hospital bed witch The Doctor puts River on the bed "no i have not really this guy said some stuff to her and i dont know if its conneted as i dont know what happened she might have just fainted but i am going to sort it out anyway" The Doctor says "do we need to start having our vists again Doctor" Dr Martin asks him "no i am not that bad just i dont want anything to happen to her look she is wonderful i know you have only seen her like this but she is grate you could not ask for anything better in you life than i wife who loves you just as much as you love them and in my opinion mines is the best" The Doctor says then goes in the TARDIS "shes not told him then" Dr Martin says.
The TARDIS appears in Easter Island "see told you he is back he does not leave people" Martha says "no he dosnt not unless he knows they can get home and are safe like he did with me when he found out i could not die he never stoped cares but took other people who wont come back to life as a priortie witch is all i could ask because i dont die" Jack says then The Doctor comes out the TARDIS and goes to hit Mickey but Jack stops him and says "wooow clam down whats got into you" "he put my wife in hospital again i sware to god if she does not get better" The Doctor says "what what are you going to do nothing you do would make her better it would make things worse to be honest" Jack says "yeah well if would make me feel better what kind of friend are you putting doughts into her mind making her feel worthless and makeing her feel like there is nothing to live for Mickey you are no longer my friend you are the husband of my friend as there is a big diffrence and i dont need to like you i just need to be sivel with you witch i can do i am fine with that because it better than being a fake friend" The Doctor says "are you taking us home then or what" Mickey asks "no use will all have to come to the hospital with me i cant sit and wait and yes i know i have the TARDIS but i dont care i will feel horrible if i wait any longer now move" The Doctor tells them then goes in the TARDIS "i am not going to the hospital he can take me home or i will just stay here" Mickey tells them "okay well then looks like you are staying here because he is going to her as quick as he can and if that means we have to go with him then we will go with him we should be thankful he came to get us now move" Martha says then everyone apart from Martha and Mickey go in the TARDIS "no i want to go home and he is not going to take me there what year we in" Mickey says "no get inside now you are not staying here if you stay here then you have walked out on my and molly and i will never forgive you" Martha tells him and then goes inside adn Mickey follows then the Doctor flys the TARDIS back to the hospital "do what you like no infact dont out all of you you can just sit and wait for me and River i dont trust Mickey i dont know how badly he wants to get home so i am not taking any chances" The Doctor says then opens the door of the TARDIS and lets everyone walk out before her does and then locks the door behind him and says "right sit there and dont move if you are not here when i get back i am leaving without you" The Doctor says then goes to find River who is lying in a hospital room and Dr Martin comes up to him and says "she is fine she just faited nothing wrong i promis she will be fine nothing to do with her depression we have cheacked all that we have left her there to wake up" "aw okay thats alright then well its not but its better than i than i thought" The Doctor says then Nancy comes past him "Doctor hi dont worry i wont hit you justback from my last anger mangement session i still have group sessions to go to but i feel better" she tells him "good thats grate achally thats what helped me although i did not always turn up when i was supost to but when i started to it made a big diffrence" The Doctor tells her "i will phone your son and make sure he is coming to pick me up" Nancy says "my son so he is mine then cause the one that is living with you might not be mine" he tells her "yeah but its Logan thats picking me up and he is yours so dont start" Nancy says the Jounior and a woman come rushing into the hospital and the woman looks like she is giving birth "Jounior what are you doing here" The Doctor asks "cant talk Lucy is about to have my first child well its twins so first two children" Jounior says "two so there was four heartbeats yeah" Nancy says and then River wakes up and see's them all talking and starts to get confused so goes outside "hello whats happaning" River asks "your up thats grate you feeling better" The Doctor says "yeah but what is going on" River asks again "eh well i am here cause you faited and i started to panic and Nancy is here to get help with something and my brillante son here is having a child not jounir answer your mothers queshtion two or four heartbeats" The Doctor says then Lucy answers "two how" "well you are not having twins you idiot one child two hearts and with her reaction she is not timelord so what is she" The Doctor asks then the doctors come and take Lucy away and the four of them follow them and then Jounior says to them "she is human" Jounior says "no shes not please tell me she's not" Nancy says "yeah she is how is that bad" Jounior says "you are timelord Jounior dont you think about what that could do did you not tell her what you are who you are if you are going to build a relishonship with someone then you have to let them now that you cant have children with them well you can but its complected it cant happen like that the way you two have and i know this because she has no clue that your not human now get everyone apart from Lucy out there we cant save her but we can save the doctors" The Doctor tells them "how then no one is there to help her give birth" Jounior says "yeah but dont worry if they stay in there they will die and i know a guy who cant do that so dont worry we will be fine" The Doctor says then River goes to get Jack and The Doctor tells the doctors the room how the child will be timelord and they all leave and River comes back with Jack "so what have i to do" he asks "help Lucy have her child you cant die so when my grandchild regenartes if he does then you wont die cause you can" The Doctor says "okay i can do that what about Lucy" Jack asks "there is nothing we can do to save her even if the child does not regenarte she will die its impossible because the child will die as every timelord child regenartes once they are born and if they dont they are not timelord because they timelords have extra everything so for that all to go into a baby at the first moments of its life it dies and then regenartes stronger" The Doctor answers "any other options" Jack said "she cheated on him and if having twins but we are not risking it now get in there" Nancy says and Jack goes in to the room "why do you two have to be timelord could you not just be normal" Jounior says and then goes to walk away then then turns back round and says "and anthother thing when you have kids you might want to tell them about if they like a human and then end up wanting to have kids with them that they cant this is the second time this has happened dont you two learn" then storms off outside "i will go talk to him" Nancy says "no i will" River says "you why" The Doctor asks "because he is pissed off at you two and clearly needs it from a point of veiw from someone who is not timelord and has never gotten told this before either" River says then "yeah okay and i did tell you just not when i should have told you but still and go talk to him" The Doctor says "is that alright i dont want to cause bother" River asks Nancy "no its fine you have a good point" she says "okay i will be back in a bit" River says then goes outside.
Jounior is outside sitting on the floor agenst the wall and River comes and sits next to him "so whats the part thats bothering you" she aks "they never told us anything as kids i didnt exspet them to but i mean nothing about timelords they where waiting untill we got older but when i got older my dad was gone he had left and the day after my big brother came back so i never got told anything the thing thats bothering me is that my mum who is suposted to love me never warned me about what could happen if i end up with a human she must have thought i would have saw harrison and thought right dont do that but i never new that would happen every singal time" Jouinor tells her "well i am going to tell you something even your father does not know well he does i think but i have never told him, i want kid i have never always wanted them but when i meet the doctor iit was like his kids i do want and then a few weeks back we thought i might have been pregnate and thats when he told me we could not have kids he always said he did not want anymore well thats what he thought and that if i wanted children he would do it again he would do it the only way we could but thats not what i wanted i told him i did not want kids i lied to him but being on the other side of things being the non timelord is worse because you know that if you wanted kids it could not happen but if he wanted kids then he could just find someone else not that he would they think they have new ways of helping this happen but they stoped when they found out it was only your father left they stoped because they never thought he would have kids after you lot so you think what your going through is bad think about the woman thats in there dying just found out that her twins are not twins and that there is no possible way of both her and her child making it out this alive and that the reason why is because her boyfriend who she thought she loved never told her who he was and now its to late to do anything about it because she is in there giving birth to that child now your parents never new you where having this kid if they did i know if the doctor did he would try and help this work and tell you what could happen and make sure that you got what you wanted so dont blame anyone for this because you did not know what could happen when the kid was born and your parents did not know that you where having a child so dont get angry because of whats happaning just be thankful you saved life today because it might not be the one you wanted to save but you father witnesses that everyday of his life and he still cant deal with it now when you are ready come inside" River says the The Doctor says "you have a little boy" "a boy really awsome wait is lucy" Jounior says "no you also have a little girl she cheated on you but for once its a good thing" The Doctor says then Jounior goes inside "how long have you been standing there" River asks him "since you told him you wanted to have kids i knew you wanted to have them of course i did but you never told me so i never done anything about it but we can do this if you want we can find a way but if we do this you will have to wait to go to the libary because if we are going to do this we will start now like as soon as we can the only problem is we dont get to do the fun bit well i supose we still can if you think about it" The Doctor says "no we can wait till i get back its fine"River says then kisses the doctor "if you insist" he says "now come on lets get inside" River says then goes inside and The Doctor follows.
When River and The Doctor go inside Jounir is sitting on a chair with a baby in each arm "i rembemer doing that for the first time i was to scared to stand up incase i droped one" The Doctor tells River "then he did i rember that" Nancy says "yes well its not my fault Logan was jumping all over me" The Doctor says "yeah i know i was joking and do you relise what we just said" Nancy says "yeah i do and i am hoping to god he never heard any of it and that we will be fine and not need to tell him" The Doctor says "wait Jounior does not know he is a twin isnt that something you should tell him" River says "yeah we said we would do it when he was older but then i ran off and we said we would do it together adn then we never saw eachother again so never got round to telling him because when we did see eachother we argued faught and accashionly had sex again but that was very rare accations and will never happen again" The Doctor says "i trust you dont worry" River tells him "do you want to tell him" Nancy asks "if you do cause if its something you dont want to do then we dont have to" he tells her then Jounior says "i heard all of that and where is my twin i dont care that you did not tell me you where just about to you waited to tell me together witch is fine so why is there only me" Jounior asks "we sorta accsadtly put youre twins sister up for adoption well we never the doctors did they though we only wanted on more child witch yeah we did but having the two was not a problem we have jessica now so you can understand why we did not want to give her up we dont even know her name or anything they did it without asksing us and we did not want to take her off the couple who adoptied her cause they told us it could be months or even years before they could get a chance like this so we let them keep her but made sure she was safe and if i am correct you father never stoped checking" Nancy says "nope once a week i check on her she is married with three kids knows she is timelord always new she was adopted but never wanted to know who her real parents was the only thing i dont know is her name and i dont think she knows she is a twin because they did not want it to seem as if we hated her or did not want her when we did but the hospital got it wrong" The Doctor says "okay well then thats fine she wants nothing to do with is then we dont need to interfear with her life do we" Jounior says the Harrison adn Logan come in the hospital with jessica "Daddy" she shouts and runs up to the doctor who picks her up "hello princess whats new" he asks her "i have a boyfriend and mummy said i can get a castle" Jessica tells him "well if you want a castle i can get you one but we might need to talk about the boyfirend because you are only what twenty and you are way to young and can only have one man in your life and that me and you might be aloud five me your brothers and your new nefew but other than no okay no boyfriend" The Doctor says "okay" Jessica tells him "wow your nothing like susan we had this chat for days she insisted on having a boyfriend i won then lost cause she ended up having one but she was older than you" he tells her "she was not daddys little girl either" Jessica tells him "yeah there is that now give me a cuddle" he says then jessica hugs the doctor "now i think you have to see mummy can you do that" he tells Jessica "no i want to be with you" she tells him "alright for now but if you are going to stay here you might have to put up with this" The Doctor says "with what you never done anything" Jessica says then The Doctor kisses River "put up with that" The Doctor says "thats okay i can do that but one queshtion mister" Jessica says "mister who you calling mister" The Doctor says "you and how come you can have a girlfriend but i cant have a boyfriend i dont see how that is fair" Jessica asks "well i dont have a girlfriend i have a wife" The Doctor tells her "yeah but she was your girlfriend at one point" Jessica says then the doctor puts her down and says "your to clever go see your mum i will see you before i go promis" The Doctor says "okay" Jessica says then runs up to nancy "she is so daddys little girl isnt she" River says "yeah and i dont know how i only seen her when she was a baby like i mean a week after she was born and then i seen her again at our wedding but she is still daddys little girl" The Doctor says "its so cute i love it" River tells him "its cute when i have a todler calling me daddy" The Doctor says "no its cute when you are a dad you can tell you care about those kids more than anything in the world and you would do anything for them and thats very cute" River says "i dont like being cute its weird" The Doctor says then turns and points and Jessica "jessica am i cute" he asks her "no you are what ever you want to be dont listen to River if you dont want to be cute you dont have to be" Jessica says "thats my girl" The Doctor says "Daddy" Jessica says "yes little monster" The Doctor asks her "how come you and mummy are not together but everyone else in my class has two parents who are not apart and its a rule in my school so how does that work" Jessica tells him then he goes over to her and kneels down infrount of her "me and your mother dont get along that well we do for use but thats took ages since you where born your big brother got the worst of it because thats when we started to fall apart and i am not sure how it works with your school but i would ask mummy about that because she is the one who picked your school" he tells her "yeah but they want to see you and mum on monday and you two are not married i think they will notice" Jessica says then walks away then The Doctor stands up "i think i might have to pretend to be with Nancy again tomorrow but you and watch from the TARDIS if you want it will just be for Jessica she really likes the girls in her class and i dont want her to move schools but then i dont know Nancys plan for this" The Doctor tells Rivers "its fine its your daughter you will have to be together without me there but yeah i will be using the scanner but it happens althought what was wrong with other schools" River asks "there was a war on limets your choices" The Doctor says then Nancy comes up to him "okay so Monday my boyfriend is going to take your place because we thought that would be a good idea" she tells them "no its me and you because we are her parents we can pretend to be a couple for an hour or so it can be that difficult and if you and your boyfriend split up then where are we
