Vinnie and Lee
The events take place in the year 2655. Prior to this, Vinnie lived a life of being hated for either being kind in a post-apocalyptic world or no reason. The story starts right after the abandonment. Vinnie was laid dying, his eyes were rolled up and his broken mind made him not control the saliva in his mouth, body parts twitching from the mental paralysis and he never moved away from that spot for a month and it happened at mid October. Snow started to fall on the utopia of Plagastan and poor Vinnie was gradually becoming covered in snow until he was buried.
[camera focus to the night sky then moves down to show Vinnie's near dead look]
Jackie: It is done. (turns back and leaves him behind) Like I told everyone, only the able and the strong survive in this area. He, is nowhere there in the criteria...
An hour later, the sounds of children frolicking around with a ball were heard then a kid kicked the ball too hard and the ball was rolled to his "burial ground". Then that one child volunteered to get the ball back from that area. He went through the bushes where it's between the residential square and his school, and once he got the ball, he saw a dead looking arm. Shocked, he went to his uncle at home.
[then the night sky has snow falling down then fast forwards to see the fall grow stronger into a snow storm which happened a month after this event]
Children: [sounding all cheerful and happy]
Kid #1: Pass it to me!
Kid #2: Okay. Whoops!
Kidd #3 to #5: [sounds of disappointment]
Kid #1: Aw c'mon. You kicked it too hard.
Kid #2: Sorry.
Emilio: Don't worry, I'll get it. [runs]
Kid #4: Be careful out there, Leo.
[walks through bushes]
Emilio: Huh? There it is. Hey fellas! I got the ball~ back?
[transitions to Uncle's house]
Emilio: Uncle! Uncle!
Paciano: O, pamangkin! Anong nangyari? (Nephew! What happened?)
Emilio: There's a dead body in the square.
Paciano: Ready everything in the 'lance.
The area where Vinnie lies is taped with police lines to give him an undisturbed analysis on his body. Paciano declared;
Emilio: Well?
Paciano: Judging from the arm, the cause of death is hypothermia and it was there for a month possibly. Who in the right mind would stay in the cold but at least this child's in peace.
Emilio: Oh...
Paciano: Good job Emilio. Once again, you are a very good assistant to me.
Emilio: Thanks.
Paciano: Hmmm.
Emilio: What's wrong?
Paciano: This very square. This is the 5th person who perished on this very area and I don't know why they end here?
Emilio: Help me [struggle to grab the arm out] get this body to the bed.
Paciano: Hold on. Now heave. [carries Vinnie out then suddenly]
Vinnie: Uhhh...
Paciano: Waaah! [both let go of Vinnie then was dropped to a pile of snow]
Emilio: Uncle, what happened?
Paciano: Ttt~that boy! He's alive?
Emilio: But how!?
Paciano: Wait! If he's alive then~
They jolted to the ambulance and they tried to revive him with a defibrillator as his heart beat is almost losing.
[ECG reads that his heartbeat was getting lower]
Paciano: Emilio, ready the defibrillator.
Emilio: Got it! Shock ready.
Paciano: Clear!
[shocks him but his heart isn't improving]
Paciano: Not working!
Emilio: Charge ready.
Paciano: Clear!
[shocks him again but now it beeps as he is beginning to flatline]
Emilio: Uncle! He's almost dying.
Paciano: Overcharge it, boy! Last chance.
Emilio: Volts set at highest.
Paciano: Sige, mabuhay ka! [readies the paddles up high] CLEAR!
[last shock and white transition and ECG starts to beep normally]
Paciano: (in Vinnie's ears which were ringing from the shock) I know this kid...
Later on, he is beginning to be awake while Emilio and Paciano were discussing about him. As he finally opened his eyes clearly, he was shocked to see two strangers in a stranger's bedroom but Paciano calmed him down.
Emilio: Who is this kid? It sounds like you know him.
Paciano: What! You don't remember?
Emilio: I don't even recognize him?
Paciano: Oh really? I believe that you two met last year in the annual hunting season.
Emilio: I met a lot of kids back then but I can't recall him.
Paciano: Check your marked arm.
Emilio: You mean this?
Paciano: This boy here is Vin. He is the one who sucked out the venom.
Emilio: Oh... That kid.
Paciano: Now you remember.
Emilio: The only thing I remember about him is that he was beaten up.
Paciano: That's because he is the hated son of Jackie, our mayor.
Vinnie: Gah! (palpitating)
Both: Huh!
Paciano: Hey, hey, hey, calm down. It's okay. You're safe and sound here. Don't worry.
Vinnie: (gradually starts to breathe properly and remembered something that made him cry a bit)
Paciano: Psst. Emilio, come over here.
Emilio: What is it Uncle?
Paciano: Call your gang, now.
Later, the Youngblood Gang has been assembled. Emilio Lee is a 7 year old, brown haired boy who sports a small coat which the sleeves are torn off. He is the leader of the pack and he is skilled enough to take on an adult. Block is a 5'8, 11 year old boy who has a mohawk, seemingly muscular build, has a nose ring and he is dressed like a 90's punk. He was a bully in Emilio's school but their friendship began when Emilio at his disadvantage, easily defeated him at wrestling. Block is also the tank of the team but he is a bit agile too. Roxy is a 10 year old girl whose body of hers seemed to develop enough to actually woo adults to distraction but she is around 5ft. She became friends with Emilio after beating Block in a fight and she is the second brains of the team if Emilio hasn't come up with something good. The gang was started by Paciano Lee for his personal purposes and now he orders them to train Vinnie but they refused until he convinced the trio.
Paciano: You are going to make him strong.
Gang: What!?
Block: We~
Roxy: Have to teach~
Emilio: Him? The weakling?
Paciano: Weakling? Can a weakling survive a month out from the cold?
Gang: Uh?
Paciano: Ever wondered why I started the Youngblood Gang?
Emilio: We are supposed to help you, right uncle?
Paciano: Exactly... You see, I'm starting to frail and my job didn't give me a good pay nowadays. I want to retire and live my last moments but without money, I don't think if I can live long. I made you three to go out there and steal goods for our nourishment and enough cash to survive. You helped me out for the past 2 years and now, help him. That is my huge request.
Emilio: Uncle, you're hiding something like always.
Paciano: Mayor Jackie and his family abandoned him heartlessly. Everyone knows he's weak but deep inside this boy, holds a potential. I still believe that this child will be arguably stronger than his family someday but they just don't give him a chance. All you have to do is teach him exactly how I trained you back then.
Roxy: But he's a hindrance to our thievery. What if he fall down?
Block: What if he can't fight?
Emilio: He would endanger our gang.
Paciano: Nope, that order is final.
Gang: But~
Paciano: Just! Believe in him...
The gang huddle up for the plan for him and they think hard on how to train him.
Block: What a bummer!
Emilio: I know but we have to do this.
Roxy: But, he's just five years old.
Emilio: Well, my uncle taught me how to wrestle when I was five.
Block: But you are gifted while he's not.
Emilio: Remember the old saying, a flower that blooms late is the most beautiful of all.
Roxy: So I think, let's assume that he's a late bloomer.
Emilio: That's right. Just give him time.
Block: But what about our grand plan.
Emilio: Come to think of it, if he's good then he'll aid us on that.
Roxy: Seriously?
Emilio: [sigh and opens the door] Vin!
Vinnie: Ah. [struggles talking]Who are you?
Emilio: I'm Emilio Lee. My uncle and I saved you.
Vinnie: I~know (tries to get up from the bed and sat on the floor and his eyes were teary).
Emilio: Huh? What's wrong?
Vinnie: My~my family. T-they~
Emilio: (pats his shoulder) It's okay. It's all gonna change.
Vinnie: Why?
Emilio: Come in!
[Block and Roxy comes in]
Emilio: This is Block and this is Roxy. We, the Youngblood Gang are going to help you get strong.
Vinnie: You're wasting time.
Emilio: Trust us. We can be your friends, right?
Block: Uhh?
Roxy: [looks around and whistling]
Emilio: [disappointed] Fine. I can be your best friend.
Vinnie: R~really? I never had friends b-before.
Emilio: (monologues) Is this kid for real? No friends at all? (back to dialogue) Looks like I'm your first. Anyways, ready yourself for tomorrow because it's lesson one.
Vinnie: But I'm ready.
Emilio: No, you're still stiff. Loosen up by warming up, okay?
Vinnie: Umm, okay.
Emilio: Good. See you.
Vinine: Wait! [trips to the floor]
[door closed]
The sun rises as tomorrow has become today. The first "training" is stealing the goods from a blind old shopkeeper. The old man shouted at them as they escape. Emilio is dashing fast with the MREs, Roxy is carrying a bag of cash and Block should have the strength to carry two heavy bags of fruits until Vinnie decided to run with it. He was clearly having a hard time but he had to because he wanted to get strong. He got tripped to the ground and the trio immediately want to bail and leave Vinnie alone but Emilio is reluctant. The old man came prepared unfortunately as he learned martial arts and echolocation so he knew that Vinnie was lying around. As he slowly lift the stick to maul him, Emilio dropped the goods and ran to save him. He kicked the old man to the head and saved Vinnie with anger and disappointment on his face. They left the scene without Vinnie's contribution.
Old Man: Hey! Get back here.
Emilio: Faster!
Roxy: Roger!
Block: Speed up will ya!
Vinnie: I'm trying! (monologues) Must not fail, will not fail, shall not fail, don't f~ (trips to the ground) Waa~oomph...
Emilio: Vin!
Roxy: Forget him, I told you so.
Block: Go! Go!
Emilio: I was right...
Vinnie: Uhhhhh.
Old Man: There you are (tongue clicks). You whippersnappers always steal my place because I'm blind, eh. Now that I can see with sound, I will beat you up!
Emilio: Grrr!
Roxy: Leo!
Block: What?
[kicks old man to the gut then flash kick to the head]
Vinnie: Leo!
Emilio: Let it go.
Vinnie: Wha?
Emilio: I said let it go! (grabs Vin's arm and run)
They ran back to one of the hideouts err hangouts which is an empty but still in service gym. Emilio threw him to the wall and shout at him. He was so infuriating that he wanted to abuse him. Vinnie let out his mercy but it doesn't apply to him.
Vinnie: Agh!
Emilio: What is that?!
Vinnie: I'm sorry.
Emilio: Sorry? Is that all? A simple sorry! Listen you sorry-butt, that kindness isn't welcome in this world. It's every man and child to ourselves and what, you are still dependent!?
Roxy: Leo.
Emilio: Rox, this is between me and him.
Roxy: Aren't you aware that you're going too rough on the kid?
Emilio: THAT IS THE POINT! Block, ready the gloves.
Block: Will do.
Roxy: Block!
Emilio: Come here.
Vinnie: Please. Please stop. You're~ you're hurting me...
Emilio: Welcome to the world of hurt! Now wear your gloves. Now!
Vinnie: I don't want it. I can try again.
Emilio: Shut up!
Emilio threw hard punches at him for every sense of weakness he exhibited to him. He tried to defend but his defense is as broken as what his family did to his mind. He spit out taunts, provocations, realizations and facts about the world and everything he want to say as he is very angry. He was tireless at beating him to the pulp then one of his words starts to wake him up.
Emilio: You are weak! Frail like a coward, like you.
Vinnie: (sounds of pain)
Emilio: Take this and that and this and [his blow stopped] oh?
Vinnie: I beg of you. Stop
Emilio:Even defending, you're still defenseless!
Vinnie: Please. Give me time
Emilio: Listen here you dirt, you scum, you parasite, you baby! This is the world for the strong. We lived against the darkness because we are strong. You are just a spoon-fed pig. I always spoon-feeders like you. It makes me sick. I never wanted to enlist you with me because you're worthless. My uncle was wrong. You don't have it. You're just waste, we should have not save you from the pile of snow.
[Vinnie opened his eye]
Emilio: Yeah, that's right! Your family is the best of the best but you are just the worst. Grrrraargh! I wanna kick you in the face. You don't deserve to bear the look of the Mayor. Everyone hates you. You don't deserve to live. Not even from your siblings, your dad and even your mother! Your siblings fail, your dad fail your mom fail, YOU FAIL, you sick spoon-feeding cockroach son of a~
Vinnie: SHUT UP!
His mind finally snapped and out of the blue, he punched Emilio so fast that he didn't know he moved. Blinded by rage, he fought back with shock and awe from the gang. Emilio tried to fight back and defend but Vinnie dodged and deflected his fists and found the opening to beat him. He shouted out words as he threw blows to his head.
Emilio: Guhh..
Roxy: (gasps)
Block: (surprised) It can't be!
Roxy: Leo!
Vinnie: Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!
Emilio: Such power! Since when did he hold back? Huh?
Vinnie: I'll show you! I'll show you all! I'll prove you wrong!
Emilio: (monologues happily) That's it. I finally snap out of him. The real Vin.
Vinnie: DIE!
Emilio: Stop.
Vinnie: Wha~(anger quickly stopped and went back to his old self) huh? Leo! What happened?
Emilio: You did.
Vinnie: Me? (looks at bloodied fists) Did I do this?
Emilio: I knew you're strong. I never held back but you are stronger.
Vinnie: Me... (faints)
Emilio: Whoa there.
Roxy: Leo, let me heal you.
Emilio: I deserve this. After all, I was going too rough on him. That's what he needed.
Block: So now what.
Emilio: We continue this, tomorrow.
[MONTAGE]
They continued training him but now he's improving. He is now able to outrun his friends and his mind was thinking so straight that he was able to complete his tasks of thievery with even more successful deviations to Emilio and Roxy's plans. As a fighter, he was able to take on his entire gang with ease and learned new moves fast as his newly set mind made him a fast learner. Just in a matter of months, he has become aware of his strength and now, he is stronger than all the three gang members combined. His weak emotions that linger him in his life turned upside down as he has become the polar opposite to what he was before.
[MONTAGE ENDS]
A month after his change, they met up in the rooftops just 150 meters to the bank. As the trio came early, Vinnie came a bit late with a smile and crow's feet on his face. He explains why he was late which made Emilio amazed at his efforts.
Emilio: Is everyone here?
Roxy: Present.
Block: Here.
Emilio: Vin?
Vinnie: Sorry I'm late.
Emilio: Why and where did you get the scarf?
Vinnie: I just went to the mall, unnoticed.
Emilio: There are three thing I want you to say. One, you did a wonderful job. Two, the scarf fits you well and three, you're crazy! From now on, sleep for seven hours. It keeps you sane.
Vinnie: Okay...
Emilio: You see this bank.
Vinnie: [covers face with the scarf] We're gonna steal it.
Roxy: We had been waiting for months and the time is now.
Block: Let's do this. For your uncle.
Emilio: For all of us.
As they go to do their respective objectives, Emilio's voices were heard and what he said are objectives to every plan. The bank is placed around the desolate sands. That is the only place to deposit and claim their money and it was a challenge as well. There were two guards on the east and front side. Now the four hid on the roof and commenced step one.
{Emilio}: Vin, you go with Roxy to the east. Block and I will go to the front.
[To Vin's side]
{Emilio}: Roxy, distract the guard.
Guard 1: Guarding here sure is boring.
Guard 2: Agreed, sir. We're just only watching the sands.
Roxy: Yoo-hoo!
Both: Huh? (looks left)
Roxy: How's about you take a rest with me? I know you are all so bored. (seductive voice and smile)
Guard 1: Whoa Nelly! Did you see that?
Guard 2: Yeah! Mmmmm. We do deserve a break.
Guard 1: What about the bank?
Guard 2: Junk the bank? I'm feeling blue here.
Guard 1: Me too! Let's go.
{Emilio}: Vin, go inside once the guards are distracted.
[To Emilio's side]
Emilio: The guards are in an odd position to stand. Block, stun them from behind and between.
Block: Got it.
Guard 3: Looks like this is the 5th week of no danger. See, there's no thieves.
Guard 4: Well now that you mention it, I think we'll be okay.
Both Guards: (gets their heads bonked by Block)
Emilio: They made this plan easier. Hahah. Come Block.
Vinnie, Emilio and Block later went inside for the second plan.
{Emilio}: I bought tranquil darts for you. Plan how to use it.
Vinnie got 5 tranquilizer darts and he darted at the guards and were hidden in the door, pots and air vents while being undiscovered. He also found the heart of the security system and disabled it. Meanwhile in Emilio's side, Block was ordered to get everyone's attention while Emilio snuck in.
Emilio: Block, make this place your Nightosphere.
People and Employees: Blah (multiple times).
Block: Grrah! (Smashes table)
All: (Screaming)
Block: Freeze!
Guard Leader: Get him boys!
Block: You can't stop me!
Emilio: Good, good.
Emilio ran to the vault while beating a few guards in the process and it was made easy because of Vinnie. Once the two finally meet, they fought against the last line and made it to the vault. Vinnie safecracks open the vault and at long last, they see gold, jewels and cash stashed. They were jumping for so much joy that they had finally done it.
Emilio: Vin!
Vinnie: Leo!
Both: Huh?
Guard: You brat!
[beats up all the guards]
Emilio: We made it.
Vinnie: Let me crack it.
[found the sweet spots]
Vinnie: Got it.
[opens the door]
Emilio: Whoa! [scans the vault] Look at all of this! Vinnie, do you know what this means?
Vinnie: Yes, Leo. We did it.
Emilio: We did it! Yes, we're stinkin' rich! Hahahah! 2 months in a making and we could've been jailed without you. Thank you.
Vinnie: No, thank you... You made me break free of my weakness.
Emilio: See. This way, you'll be back with your family in no time.
During the bank heist, Doom King, Lich and all of his legion of skeletons are ready to conquer Plagastan.
Lich: The legion are ready at your disposal. Give them your order.
Doom King made sign languages with his big left hand to command the skeletons for the blitzkrieg then commanded the archers to ready the raining fire arrows and their catapults are now set with flaming rocks. Now, he calls the signal to proceed the charge. The skeletons are running, the archers are raining down arrows and the catapults add the "meteoric" touch to the rain of fire.
Meanwhile, Vinnie and Emilio are talking about the money while they're grabbing what they can carry in the bag. Block came and he was spellbound by the sparkles of gold and jewels so he carried the heavy ones. Just as they're done, a rock broke the roof. The floors in the vault tremble and they fall. They had no idea what happened until Roxy came back with the news.
Roxy: Guys! Get out now or the skeletons will~
Block: Skeletons?
Roxy: Gyahh!
Emilio: Roxy, no!
Roxy was being trampled and later, eaten to death by the skeletons. The skeletal army from Doom King and Lich has finally invaded Plagastan and they're swarming all over the place.
Vinnie: Block! Attack them! Emilio, what's wrong.
Emilio: No... This wasn't supposed to happen.
Vinnie: C'mon Leo. We have to fight. We can get away with the loot.
Emilio: (concentrates) You're right. Fight our way to escape.
Vinnie, Emilio and Block tried to escape the bank while mowing down the skeletal army. Projectiles from the catapults are falling down and three of the projectiles actually helped the trio to escape but one projectile made it not so lucky. Vinnie saved Emilio but Block became overwhelmed by the skeletal soldiers and later died as a result.
[roof broken by one projectile]
Vinnie: Look out!
[pushes Emilio off]
Block: Guys!
Emilio: Block!
Block: Grrrraagh! I'm unstoppable. You are all frail bones while I am a rock. Ow! Get off me. Ow. Ow. Oww! The teeth. Gyaaah!
Emilio: Block! No. No... NO!
Vinnie: Don't lament now. Hiyah!
[projectile fallen to the wall beside Emilio]
Emilio: Ahh! What the? Uncle!?
Paciano and his team tries to fend off the army but the numbers were so vast so one by one the army killed off his men and later, him. Emilio witnessed the death of his uncle.
Paciano: Men! Protect the land with our last breath.
Soldier #1: Gack!
Soldier #2: Uwaah!
Paciano: I won't fall.
[3 skeleton charged to him with swords pointing at him, successfully impaled him]
Paciano: Guh, guh, gaahh... Emi~lio...
Emilio: Uncle... [cries] Waaaaaaaagh! Why me!? WHY ME!
[projectile destroyed the main support which made the ceilings collapse]
Vinnie: Leo, run! Run!
Vinnie and Emilio are running for their lives from the collapsing ceilings. They tried to run fast but their bags are heavy and Vinnie eventually got hit by a rock thus stunning him. Emilio ran but he made no choice but to save him by pushing Vinnie away from the debris. The smoke settles, the skeletal army within the area of the bank are gone and Vinnie was able to escape without harm but Emilio, didn't make it. He began to cry as he tried to save him and not listening his doomed words.
Vinnie: (coughing from smoke then smoke subsides and made heavy breaths) We made it. We finally made it out. Right, Leo? Leo.
Emilio: Vin. (Vinnie turns back)
Vinnie: (shocked) Oh my Glob! Emilio!
Emilio: [his body is laid down with debris crushing his entire lower body and he looks at the ceiling] Vin.
Vinnie: Don't worry, I can get you out! (struggles)
Emilio: Please. Don't.
Vinnie: I can save you. I want you alive if only (struggles) I could just.
Emilio: Stop, Vin. It's over.
Vinnie: No! (tries to lift off a heavy debris) It's not over. It's not (cries) over yet.
Emilio: I'm sorry. Please understand.
Vinnie: Stop it! I don't wanna give you up. I, I, (stops lifting and still cries) I just don't wanna lose you.
Emilio: But, it's over for me. I can't move my legs anymore...
Vinnie: But Leo, you made me who I am now. You gave my life hope. I can't leave you like this because~ I don't want to be alone again...
Emilio: I see. (cough blood)
Vinnie: Leo!
Emilio: Hey, listen. I want you to do something. My final wish for you...
Vinnie: Anything, best friend...
Emilio: Heheh, Vin. I want you to die with me here.
Vinnie: What!?
Emilio: This land (pause) is doomed from the start. At least, we can bring our money to Glob World and we'll be happy.
Vinnie: No. I just can't!
Emilio: But didn't you want to be lonely.
Vinnie: But not like this! Are you out of your mind? These (points to money) won't be coming along with us.
Emilio: Quit dreaming kid! This land is a goner and you won't survive even for a sec. I don't want to die alone too. At least Vin, we'll be in a happy place together. We'll be away from the strife the world makes nowadays. Together, we~
Vinnie: Stop it!
Emilio: Huh?
Vinnie: I grew tired of people telling me what not to do. All my life, they gave me so much hate that I wished I don't want to hear it anymore. You of all people gave me hope to live on and now you stoop so low to tell me to die. I still remember a friend who is not as wasted like you. I won't do it, Leo.
Emilio: You... You self-centered punk!
Vinnie: Hah?
[grabs Vinnie's leg]
Vinnie: Get off me!
Emilio: I won't let go until we perish!
Meanwhile, the Heavendancer Clan went to the rendezvous point where Hunson Abadeer, the Demon Lord of the Nightosphere and a family friend to Jackie is there. Jackie sensed something unusual and familiar and that's when he thought about finding Vin. Jackie hurriedly go back to Plagastan to find him.
Jackie: Wait a minute.
Hunson: What is it?
Jackie: I sensed someone. It can't be!
Mina: What, honey?
Jackie: Vin.
Mina: Vin!?
Jackie: He's still alive!
Mina: (teary eyed) Vin...
Jackie: Hunson, I'll be back.
[Jackie runs]
Hunson: Jackie! We don't have much time.
The debris above him is starting to collapse and Emilio won't let go of Vinnie's leg as he wants to die with him by force. Vinnie did the unthinkable, he nearly amputated Emilio's arm off. Jackie came just in time to retrieve Vinnie and left Emilio alone to suffer.
Emilio: (notices that the ceiling is breaking apart) You said you don't have hope. You said there is no way that you'll be strong. Stop being a hypocrite. Be a good buddy and stay with me!
Vinnie: I said get off me! (knifed Emilio's arm)
Emilio: Gyyaaaarrgh! Why you?
Vinnie: (gasping for air) I had a friend who inspired me to be better and live on to experience what's coming for me. You're not like my friend anymore. (turns around and close eyes) You're dead to me.
Jackie: Vin!
Vinnie: (gasp) Dad?
Jackie: We don't have time. Let's go.
Emilio: You turned your back on me!? Is this the thanks I get after training you? You, you betrayed me! I can't believe I even made you my best friend! After all this, you're gonna left me to die? [big rock crushed his upper body] Grrraaaah! I want you to die Vin! I want to haunt you to death. I want to wish you dead! [debris falls to his head and hit his eye] You'll regret the day you left me behind. You will regret all! I SWEAR! [the debris completely covered him]
Jackie ran fast as he could to the rendezvous point. He asked him who was he? Vinnie answered it with such hatred that he finally made Jackie smile for the first time but told him not to push his luck.
Jackie: I can't believe you're still alive. So, have you learned your lesson?
Vinnie: (moaned in hatred)
Jackie: What's wrong? Who was that boy?
Vinnie: He used to be my friend. He's dead to me. I left him behind to suffer.

Later on, they made it and Vinnie finally reunites with his mother and his siblings. It ended abruptly because their children will be under tutelage to Hunson for 300 years and the parents won't come.
Jackie: Hunson, I'm here.
Vinnie: Mother!
Mina: Vin!

Mina: Oh Vin. I missed you so.
Vinnie: I missed you too. I become strong while I'm alone.
Mina: Really?
Hunson: So that's your boy.
Jackie: Take better care of him, okay?
Ilana: Vin!
Vinnie: Ilana.
Ilana: I'm sorry we did all this to you.
Sheamus: But look at you, we thought we saw a spectre in you.
Vinnie: Sheamus.
Dmitri: You made it out alive but don't expect me to be impressed at anything you do.

Hunson: It's time to go, children.
Vinnie: Mom! Dad! Come.
Mina: No. We'll stay.

Jackie: We'll look for survivors in this city. We are bound to do this.

Mina: Don't worry. At 300 years, you'll be back here. I promise, we won't perish.
Hunson: Sorry Vin.

Mina: Goodbye my children! Take care! (cries intensifies) Please be stronger VIN!
Jackie: (waves and smiles)

Jackie and Mina were left behind and now they looked for survivors. In the bank, Doom King and Lich walked around and Lich sensed a living being. Both removed the rocks until they found Emilio laid rest, dreaming and muttering something. After hearing the utters, Doom King wanted to keep him as a minion but Lich refused and he should left him to die along with the rest but Doom King tried to convince everything about him in which made Lich to reluctantly agree but on a few conditions.
Doom King: After a long wait, the entire Huntsland is mine.
Lich: Yes. Your warfare never cease to impress me. Ah? I sense life on the bank.
[removed rocks]
Lich: A boy?
Doom King: Mutilated and dreaming.
Lich: I heard he's muttering something.
Emilio: (inaudible)
Doom King: Listen...
Emilio: Vin...
Doom King: A name?
Emilio: You will die, someday.
Lich: A death wish he wants granting?
Emilio: I will end you with my bare hands.
Doom King: This boy has potential. Shall we keep him?
Lich: He's nothing but a pretender. He should be perished along with the people here. I don't find anything significant on this crippled child.
Doom King: I made it a request. I have the technology to "renew" him. He would be useful as a minion. A right hand.
Lich: So be it but you'll carry all the burdens. He's just wasting your time.
Doom King: Time? Taking over this place is the last thing I need for total conquest so I can take care of him without conflicts. You on the other hand, find your land. You've done a lot for over the past 600 years.
Lich: You're telling me what to do? (smiles) If that's the case, I shall...
